I don't watch many mcu shows but I gave Ironheart a shot cause it looked promising and the unnecesary hate was pissing me off and I LOVE IT. If all mcu projects were like this I would have no complaints. Riri is the type of character marvel needs, three dimensional, ambitious, good, flawed, smart, caring, tough. I love her so much. And don't get me started on the relationship between Riri and Natalie. I love it when shows are so centred around platonic friendships and their whole dynamic is amazing and heartbreaking. Can' wait to see more of this story AND YOU ALL BETTER WATCH IT.

I think Natalie's mother sees Natalie as an ancestor. That's why she wasn't shocked to see her. Natalie's role in protecting Riri and giving her advice is very much reminiscent of the work ancestors do in African traditional religions.
