How Disrespect in Business—Like Ignoring Emails and Turning Down Networking—Can Lead to Cyber Attacks
Let’s get something straight right now: your crappy communication habits aren’t just annoying—they’re dangerous. That ignored email chain? It might be the reason your company gets ransomwared next month. That networking event you blew off because you were “too busy”? Could’ve been where you learned about the security vulnerability currently festering in your system. Disrespect in business isn’t…

🔴 Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine:
Enough silence. Enough complicity. The Palestinian people are being slaughtered as the world watches and is complicit in these crimes.
The genocide against our people in Gaza continues, and global complicity has reached its peak of depravity.
- Amid the escalating crimes of genocide against children, women, and the elderly in Gaza—crimes that represent the most horrific atrocities of the modern era—the global imperialist powers, led by the United States, continue their absolute support for these crimes, whether through military aid or political cover.
- The U.S. administration, led by war criminal Donald Trump, bears full responsibility for these massacres. It openly and shamelessly declares its direct participation in the killing and destruction, making it a primary partner in these crimes against humanity.
- We call upon university students, unions, and communities in the United States and Europe to immediately take to the streets, to besiege the White House and the Pentagon—centers of decision-making supporting the occupation—and to deliver a clear message to the murderers that the world will not remain silent in the face of these crimes.
- Intensifying popular pressure on these complicit governments is the responsibility of every free and honorable person who rejects oppression and genocide.
- We also call on the Arab and Islamic masses to take immediate action and not leave Gaza to face the zionist killing machine alone. The situation has reached its breaking point; there is no room for further silence and inaction. Supporting Gaza today is a national and moral duty, and abandoning it is a betrayal of the blood of the martyrs, the wounded, and the oppressed.
- People must mobilize by all means—through demonstrations, sit-ins, civil disobedience, and a comprehensive boycott of the zionist entity and its supporters.
- Gaza and its resistance will not be broken, despite all attempts by the occupation and its allies to eliminate it. Resistance continues, the Palestinian people will never surrender, and Netanyahu and his fascist government will inevitably fall, just as all tyrants and criminals throughout history have fallen.

Amazing for phil that he just naturally has the face of a gay man who underwent a twink death crisis terribly and decided to get addicted to face-lifts and botox but instead of all that he just naturally always looked so (for lack of a better word) snatched from his eyebrows to his cheekbones. Like do you think a decaying twink pointed to a picture of phil lester before going under for plastic surgery. Meanwhile to rejuvenate his twinkiness phil just had to like. Dye his hair.

i think i recall some info you've posted about suicide hotlines, sorry if i've mixed you up with someone else. with the lgbt youth silo being disbanded under 988 next month, do you think it'll have an impact on people? part of me wants to believe if 988 sucks then who cares. but if lgbt youth have been helped by this subservice then it's another kick in the teeth.
Yeah probably was me you were thinking of, I've posted quite a bit about the problems with 988 in terms of all the ways they collaborate with cops, do "nonconsensual active rescue" and involuntarily hospitalize people.
And honestly this is one of the reasons I said from the beginning that I didn't think hotlines such as the Trevor Project and other independent hotlines should have became part of the 988 network. Mostly because I think that 988 is a deeply unethical hotline and I don't think that other hotlines should have agreed to uphold the mandatory nonconsensual rescue policies that are required to become part of the 988 network, but also because then their operation becomes even more closely tied to federal funding and federal policy changes, and it opened the door to something like this happening.
I certainly don't think it's good that the fed government specifically cut this service and are signaling that they don't care about supporting suicide prevention for LGBTQ and specifically trans youth, but I also don't think the solution to that is pouring more money into unethical hotlines or lobbying into getting this service back into 988. I think the solution is supporting independent hotlines like the trans lifeline or thrive lifeline that don't collaborate with cops, trying to direct more funding to them so that they can support an increased influx of calls, and sharing those hotline numbers so that more LGBTQ youth are aware there are other LGBTQ hotline services out there. I also think there should be more of an organized effort to get other hotlines to quit working with the cops, quit working with 988, and implement the crisis callers bill of rights.

every once in a while I think about how impossibly lonely the amigos must have been before they found each other and I cry
Elena obviously was in the amulet for 41 years, in total isolation save for her one-way interactions with the amulet's wearers, not knowing if there were any survivors among her family and old friends, and then came back into a world that had moved on without her and changed so much while she was gone
Mateo spent most of his childhood studying magic alone, with no mentors or really any sort of support network, because it's not like he could talk to anyone about what he was doing. he would've grown up seeing his identity propagandized against, and as the de facto Last of His Kind
Naomi spent an indeterminate amount of her life traveling. we don't know where she lived or for how long, but it's likely she would've struggled to make meaningful, long lasting friendships. her one established pre-series friend is very long distance, and she's ready to call Elena her best friend 3 episodes in, which kinda suggests she doesn't have many strong connections in Avalor
Gabe has a pretty good rapport with the other guards, but it's also implied that he's one of the youngest members, if not the youngest outright, and he doesn't have any kind of military background, and being the odd one out like that can be incredibly isolating. like, what did the training period look like? he also explicitly has an extremely unsupportive parent at the start of the show
like man it's no wonder they latched onto each other so quickly. loneliness is absolute hell.

Freedom for Ahmed Sa'adat and all Palestinian prisoners!
23 years ago today, PFLP Secretary-General Ahmed Sa'adat was kidnapped by the forces of the comprador PA for "incitement," following a speech in which he said, "We do not deserve respect unless our motto is: An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, and a head for a head." He was referencing the killing of zionist minister Rehavam Ze'evi on the glorious October 17th of 2001, carried out in revenge for the assassination of martyred PFLP leader Abu Ali Mustafa.
Sa'adat was held in the infamous Areeha prison of the Palestinian Authority, where the PA placed him under watch of US, British, and Canadian guards, lackeys of the zionist occupation. In fact, it was the fourth time that he was held in PA prisons, out of 11 total arrests since 1968.
Months later, as part of the traitorous PA's "sacred security coordination," he was handed over by the Palestinian Authority to the zionist prisons from which he continues to lead the PFLP and release statements urging unity and international solidarity, leading hunger strikes even in solitary confinement. In May 2023, he was returned to solitary confinement, then arbitrarily transferred. He and all prisoners have faced abuse since October 7th.
Then and now, the PA continues to suppress resistance. Their ongoing siege of the Jenin Camp highlights the PA’s continuous acts of betrayal toward the homeland.
From Ahmed Sa'adat to Musab Shtayyeh to Khader Adnan and Jarah Khalaf, the PA kidnaps community leaders, journalists, activists, and fighters who successfully organize to oppose zionism.
Today, freedom for Ahmed Sa'adat and all prisoners nears, as the call to #FreeThemAll, from the prisons of the zionist occupation and the traitorous PA, is being realized by the armed resistance.

🚨 Palestinian factions issued strong condemnations of the "israeli" attack on the Madleen, a humanitarian ship that was part of the Freedom Flotilla
In their statements, they praised the courage and moral resolve of the activists who were arrested by IOF for attempting to break the blockade on Gaza and deliver symbolic aid, despite the risks involved.
🟢 The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement strongly condemning the entity's interception of the Madleen ship in international waters, calling it an act of piracy and state terrorism. The activists on board, who were on a peaceful humanitarian mission to break the blockade on Gaza, were forcibly detained. Hamas praised these international volunteers for their courage and solidarity, asserting that Gaza is not alone and continues to be supported by the global conscience.
The statement emphasized that the ship and other solidarity efforts from countries like Algeria, Tunisia, and Jordan reflect the growing failure of "israeli" propaganda and the strength of international support for Gaza. Hamas demanded the immediate release of the detained activists, urged the UN and international bodies to act, and reaffirmed that the blockade on Gaza is a crime that must be confronted.
⚫️ The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine condemned the attack on the Madleen ship, part of the Freedom Flotilla, calling it an act of international piracy and abduction, and a clear violation of international law. The group expressed full solidarity with the detained activists, praising their courage and humanitarian motives in confronting what it described as one of the most criminal armies in modern history. The statement criticized the global silence in the face of what it called genocide and starvation in Gaza, and held "israel" — along with international governments and institutions — fully responsible for the activists’ safety, their release, and the lifting of the blockade on Gaza.
⚔️ The Resistance Committees in Palestine condemned the "israeli" seizure of the Madleen ship, which was on a humanitarian mission to support Gaza amid its siege and genocide. They criticized the zionist entity's brutal actions and highlighted American complicity. They praised the detained activists for their courage and called on all free people worldwide to stand up against the injustice and expose the ongoing crimes in Gaza.
⚪️ The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement held "israel" fully responsible for the safety of the detained crew, praising them for risking their lives in pursuit of humanitarian values. They characterized the incident as proof of "israel's" aggressive and criminal nature, framing it as a threat not only to Palestinians but to global peace and human conscience. It calls on the international community to end its silence and act to protect the detained activists. Finally, the movement urges continued international solidarity through protests and convoys, including mass participation in the upcoming Land Convoy of Steadfastness to the Rafah border, aiming to break the blockade on Gaza.
🔴 The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) condemned the seizure of the Madleen as a war crime and an act of cowardly piracy, holding the occupation fully responsible for the safety of the detained activists. It praised their courage in confronting the siege and affirmed that such repression will not silence the voices of global solidarity. The PFLP called for their immediate release and urged mass mobilization through protests, legal action, and renewed land and sea convoys to Gaza. It stressed that the continued blockade is a crime against humanity and that the growing international defiance proves the Palestinian cause remains firmly rooted in the conscience of the free.
⬜️ The Ahrar Movement denounced the seizure of the Madleen as an act of Nazi-like piracy against international activists who embody the conscience of humanity. It held both the occupation and the U.S. administration fully responsible for the activists’ safety, and called for their immediate release. The group praised the courage of those aboard and warned that the zionist entity poses a threat not only to Palestinians but to all people of conscience. The Ahrar Movement urged the launch of more solidarity ships and called on rights groups to condemn the attack and fulfill their responsibilities in confronting war crimes.

so has anyone noticed Yukiko’s arc with Konohana Sakuya calling her out on her learned helplessness and learning how she has more power than she realized and how similar it is to Adachi’s own sense of not being in control that drives him nuts because I have and I wanna talk about it
Because Konohana Sakuya calls Yukiko out on her own helplessness, looking to others, “princes,” ways to run from her situation… when she’s trying to teach Yukiko that the only thing stopping her… is Yukiko. I mean her boss form proves that firmly. She’s a bird in a cage and closes and opens up the cage to attack.
Tumblr media
And right beforehand, she’s got a lot to say about Yukiko’s learned helplessness and the self-hatred Yukiko feels over it.
Tumblr media
She just points out hard how Yukiko doesn’t feel in control of her life and how just… no. No that’s not true, she can do something, the power’s in her hands.
And during her Social Link, Yukiko realizes that her resentment for the inn and perceived lack of power was born from her mistaken belief that her family’s love was conditional, when it wasn’t. Not at all.
Tumblr media
Speaking of looking away from small opportunities and convincing yourself you have to bear your problems alone because you’re worried that having a support network will take away your agency…
Wait.
Does this sound like a certain detective we know, or what?
Tumblr media
We know less about what Adachi’s childhood was like than we do about Yukiko’s (which is to say we know like… nothing other than implying his parents weren’t terribly affectionate in Rank 2, which is why the old lady confuses him and he avoids her).
Tumblr media
But what we do know is he keeps acting like everything is out of his control. He describes his mistake as being utterly insignificant when… he never describes it… which makes me think it’s much more important than he acts. (Knowing this guy he probably let something massive slip, but hell if he’ll tell us…) He says “and then they send me to the boonies” as if the reason he got sent wasn’t his own fault. Taking no blame in the events that got him here… when he was absolutely not blameless.
Tumblr media
I’ve stated this before, but I believe that Adachi saw the Midnight Channel Killings as a method of taking his life back from what he felt was out of his control—when considering he had Ame-no-Sagiri burst out of him, ironically made him lose more control—even lost his own body temporarily. Adachi is an utter control freak and any sense of him having no power causes him to panic, fly off the handle and strike out at anyone around him.
And it’s not like nobody reached out to him to make the support network Yukiko learned to cherish having. I have no idea if anybody did prior to Inaba, but the thing is, I know what happened in Inaba. Dojima reached out. That old woman reached out. Yu reached out. And Adachi threw it all away, never bothered with the support network he had that was trying to exist if only he’d let it… and part of him knows that, which is why his mind got occupied by the Dojimas while in jail, despite him refusing to see Dojima as he visited him in jail. He literally kept trying to burn bridges with Dojima when he failed the first time. And more importantly, his line right before Ame-no-Sagiri overtakes him.
Tumblr media
GEE, I WONDER WHY THAT IS, ADACHI :) (violent sarcasm)
The only time Adachi ever admitted he screwed up (right up until his parting letter) was insanely indirect via the second threat letter he sent. Because I’m 99% sure he only sent that because “Oh shit, Nanako’s the next target!!” And when he mentions being unable to clean up his own mess in the parting letter. That’s it.
Yukiko literally almost burns all her bridges too. Her earlier social links are actually about her starting to try and stake it out on her own, and even doing it behind their backs because she doesn’t quite trust them.
Tumblr media
Like Adachi, Yukiko initially believed that staying with the network she had would give her no control over her life, as Konohana Sakuya’s quote “Everything’s decided for me, from how I live to where I die! I’m sick of it!!”
But her family’s unconditional love and the support of her friends actually gave her the power and agency she desperately wanted—she could do whatever she wanted if only she realized it. Her friends and family love her no matter what.
Which is what makes this line so perfect—Yukiko, the one who almost burnt nearly her bridges because she believed she had no power, just like Adachi, is the one who says this.
Tumblr media
Of course Yukiko would be the one who tells him his ideas of hating the world but still not wanting to die to be nonsensical—Konohana Sakuya called her out on this shit eight months ago. “Having no hope if [you] stay but no courage to leave.” And in both the crow and the spider’s case, it would be better for them to stay. Because Yukiko has a support network no matter what and shouldn’t burn perfectly functioning bridges, and neither should Adachi, who doesn’t even realize there is someone out there who wants to be his support network—Dojima. Who literally brings him an ambulance to make sure he’s at least in a good physical state when in jail.
And Yukiko also didn’t realize how much her family loved her initially, and how important her friends were to her despite her closeness to Chie. But the difference is, Yukiko realized her support network was not only healthy, but necessary before she ever destroyed it. She realized their importance and that they weren’t at all as restraining as she’d believed.
Tumblr media
Adachi didn’t realize in time, and still didn’t realize it even after Dojima did him a favor when he was being jailed, since he refuses to see him when he visits.
