As Rowan slid in beside him, Zander clutched at his arm. Needing to feel him. To know he was there. And as Alexander came in on the other side, he reached out to catch his arm too. Thus creating a circle with Ivy and Ophie cradled in the center of it. He exhaled, almost melting in relief. The tears now dried on his cheeks. Though he could be sure there would be more later. But for now...he had his little family. All safe and sound...all of them except...
Had he been in his right sort of mind, Ophie might have objected to all of it. But, he was not. So as Alexander pulled him closer he just went to him. As long as he continued to hold onto Ivy, he didn't care about much else. He didn't even bother to listen to any of the noise happening around him. Just focusing on rebuilding his mental defenses. Brick by brick. Until it slid shut and locked into place. Once he'd done that, he went completely limp in Alexander's arms.
"Do you think this is funny?" Xavier was continuing to object. "You think those guys were bad? He's got more of them. Lots more of them. And they are all going to be out looking for this kid. And you dumb fuckers are just going to sit here playing house with him. Like he isn't going to bring out the end of the world."
Zander thought perhaps he should be concerned with his brother's sudden appearance. Things would sink in better later. When he realized that Xavier had been there this entire time. But he was exhausted. Mentally and physically. And settled for just simply sitting against Rowan.
There was a heavy moment in the air. Magnus' eyes were glowing dangerously as little sparks of energy danced a bit around him. When Desmond spoke from behind him, his eye twitched just a bit. "Oh well...congratulations." He semi-turned back towards the two soaking wet warlocks behind him. "It's a boy..." He told Thaddeus who was just standing there in shock.
When he turned back towards the lot of them, the scroll appeared in his hand. The ink still drying. Xypher had a second to realize he was standing too close and attempted to duck away from him. "XYPHER SLADE!" He boomed, shaking the already crumbling basement under the pure magnitude of the voice.
Xypher rolled his eyes, blocking a particularly violent swing of the parchment. "Why is it you always assume it was me?" He asked in absolute seriousness.
Magnus just stared at him like he'd lost his mind. A vein popping out just on his forehead. "Xypher..." He said with false sweetness. "Who else could have completely demolished a building?"
"Okay." Xypher relented, still trying to save face. "But...Vexx was the one who called me...right Cams? So...shouldn't it then be Vexx's fault?"
Thaddeus flopped down on the bottom step. "Fuck....shit....no fuck." He said, angrily tearing his fingers through his hair.
Vexx was propping Chance up against his chest. Trying to hold onto the violently shaking teen. His voice was absent as he replied. "I was only doing what Magnus told me to do. I didn't tell you to destroy the building."
Xypher sent Vexx an incredulous look. "And just what else was I supposed to do?"
"Talk to them?" Vexx asked, touching Cami's arm to make sure she was back with them. "Magnus...unless you fancy this child freezing to death...you may want to come have a look." Chance was now frozen to the touch. The fever having passed now, leaving him cold and empty without the presence of his father in him.
Magnus gave Xypher another whack upside the head just because he could. He gestured at everyone with his scroll as he handed out orders. "Everyone outside! All of you. Out out out!"
He zeroed in on Desmond. "You..." he growled. Then jerked the scroll at Xavier. "And you...are not to leave this place under any circumstances and don't think I won't be able to find you if you do because I AM THE HIGH WARLOCK OF CHICAGO AND I WILL MAKE YOU SORRY!"
The offered hand from Zander was incredibly touching, to say the least. Of course, both Rowan and Alexander had been part of this family in their own way for many years, but that had really cemented when Ivy came into the picture. It took a village to raise a kid, or so the saying went. And her village was filled to the brim with so very many people, with Alexander and Rowan being two of the people chief amongst the ranks.
Rowan was the first to move, gently pulling Alexander forward with him as he did. He moved to tuck Zander under his arm, resting his cheek on his head as he returned the embrace.
Alexander moved alongside Ophie as he exhaled a breath. His arms wrapped around Ophie and Ivy then, holding onto them and steadying himself in the comfort of the action. Even if it had all gone so hellish so quickly, they were all okay.
He instinctively brought his hands to cover Ivy and Ophie's heads as the crash sounded overhead of them, watching as Rowan did the same with Zander. And he couldn't fully relax again with the sound of Xavier's interjections, but he didn't pull back from hugging them just yet. "You don't get a say in any of this," he snapped from over their heads.
Rowan chimed in too, slightly tensing his grip around Zander. "And you're threatening to interrupt Cami's focus with your tantrums."
Ivy lifted her head a bit, catching sight of Chance who was clearly still in pain. And even if Vexx and Xypher were being harmlessly playful in their little interjections, it made her wince a bit to hear Chance referred to as a stray. "He's mine... a part of our family," she called out, her voice still shaky from crying. "My other platonic."
None of them had really noticed the sound of more footsteps coming down into the basement over Xavier's yelling. But now Magnus stood just inside of the room, with a waterlogged Desmond and Thaddeus off to his side. And Desmond cleared his throat to interject, adding his voice to Ivy's information. "But he can stay with me. If none of you feel comfortable having Chance in your charge... I'll take care of him."
Ivy's eyes darted to Des then, stunned to see him and offering up a watery smile of gratitude.

𝓢ILENT 𝓣REATMENT.
pairings : frank castle x fem!reader warnings : argument, crying, hurt / comfort, happy ending, established relationship au, shouting, implied size diff (like my fav trope if you can’t already tell) silent treatment summary : after an argument with frank, you both end up giving eachother silent treatment, until the tension gets too unbearable for you in the car. wc : 4.5k a/n : i got a req for this a few days ago but i think i deleted it or something i can’t find it now💔 but it was from an anon so thank you for this one because i loved writing this ALSO!! thank you to everyone who leaves feedback + little comments on my frank fics i notice it happens more when i write for frank and it’s the absolute sweetest
the air in the apartment felt heavy, charged, like a storm was brewing right there in the middle of the living room. frank was pacing now, his big hands flexing at his sides, his jaw tight enough that you swore you could hear his teeth grinding.
you didn’t fight - not like this. not with him raising his voice and you trying so hard not to let yours crack. it wasn’t how things usually went. frank was tough, sure, rough around the edges in a way that didn’t really go away even when he was at his gentlest. but with you, he was softer. he made an effort to rein it in because he’d told you once, in a rare moment of vulnerability, that he didn’t want you to ever be scared of him. and you never had been.
but tonight, he was angry. angrier than you’d ever seen him at you, and the worst part was you weren’t sure how it had even escalated to this.
“so what?” frank barked, spinning on his heel to face you, his broad frame taking up what felt like the entire room. “you think i’m just gonna sit back and let this slide?” his voice was sharp, cutting, and it made you flinch, even though you knew deep down that he’d never in a million years actually hurt you. “you think that’s who i am?”
you held your ground, even though your heart was pounding against your ribs. “it’s not about letting it slide, frank,” you said softly, your tone calm, measured - a stark contrast to the heat in his voice. “it’s about not making it worse. escalating doesn’t fix anything.”
“escalating?” he repeated, his voice rising, almost incredulous. “this isn’t escalating, this is handling it. you don’t just let people treat you like crap n’ walk away. you should know that’s not how it works.”
“sometimes it is,” you said quietly, refusing to match his volume. “sometimes walking away is the only thing you can do. not everything has to be a fight.”
“bullshit.” the word came out harsh, and the bite in it made your chest tighten. frank rarely swore at you, and when he did, it was never like this, never with this kind of edge.
your hands trembled slightly, so you folded your arms across your chest, not in defiance but as a way to steady yourself. “frank, please. i don’t want to argue about this.”
“yeah, well, maybe you should’ve thought about that before you went and tried to handle this on your own.” he threw his hands up, his frustration spilling over like a dam breaking. “you didn’t even tell me, and now i’m supposed to just sit back and be okay with it?”
“i didn’t tell you because i knew this is how you’d react,” you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
his face twisted, a mixture of disbelief and something else - hurt, maybe. but it was gone as quickly as it came, replaced by a hard, almost cold expression. “damn right this is how i’d react,” he shot back. “because i give a shit. because i don’t want you getting hurt or screwed over or whatever the hell else might happen if i’m not there to step in.”
“i know you care,” you said, your voice still soft but firm. “but you can’t control everything, frank. sometimes things happen, and you just have to let them go.”
he let out a sharp, bitter laugh, running a hand through his hair. “letting it go gets you hurt. letting it go gets you walked all over. i’m not gonna let that happen to you.”
his words were loud, forceful, like he was trying to hammer them into your head, but they only made your throat tighten more. “i can handle myself,” you said, your voice shaking slightly despite your best efforts.
“can you?” he snapped, and the doubt in his tone stung worse than any of the yelling.
you flinched, your eyes dropping to the floor. “that’s not fair,” you whispered.
“yeah, well, life’s not fair,” he shot back, his tone still razor-sharp.
silence fell between you, heavy and suffocating. you could feel the sting of tears threatening to spill, but you refused to cry - not in front of him, not when he was like this, which he never had been before. you’d seen flashes of it occasionally, never once directed at you. so instead, you turned on your heel and walked out of the room, your steps quick but steady, your back straight even though every part of you felt like curling up into yourself.
you didn’t look back, but you could feel his eyes on you as you left.
the door clicked softly as you shut yourself in the bathroom, leaning back against the cool wood as you tried to pull in a steadying breath. it felt like all the air had been sucked out of your lungs back in the living room, and now the weight of it all was crashing down on you.
you stared at the tiled floor, your arms wrapped around yourself like that might somehow hold you together. your chest felt tight, your eyes stinging with unshed tears, but you bit down hard on your bottom lip, refusing to let them fall. not yet, anyway.
you weren’t used to this - not with frank. he could be sharp, blunt, even infuriatingly stubborn sometimes, but he was never cruel. not to you. in the years since you’d met him, since the whirlwind of your relationship had gone from cautiously circling each other to something real and steady, frank had always been your safe place. he was intense, sure, but his intensity had always felt protective, grounding, like you could lean on him no matter how bad things got.
so why did it feel like he was the one knocking the ground out from under you now?
you pressed the heels of your hands against your eyes, trying to will the tears away. it wasn’t fair to pin all the blame on him, you knew that. this argument wasn’t entirely about frank’s temper, or his need to protect you - it was about your own unwillingness to let him.
the issue had started small, just a casual remark you’d made earlier in the week about someone you worked with - someone who’d been taking advantage of your kindness. you hadn’t thought much of it at the time, but frank had picked up on it immediately, and the more you’d tried to brush it off, the more his protective instincts had kicked in.
at first, it had been sweet, his quiet grumbles about how people didn’t deserve to treat you that way, how you needed to stand up for yourself more. but somewhere along the line, it had turned into this - a full-blown argument where neither of you seemed to be able to see the other’s side.
you weren’t blind to why he was upset. frank had been through more than most people could even imagine, and the idea of someone hurting you - or even disrespecting you - lit a fire in him that he couldn’t always control. but the way he handled that fire was what made your chest ache. it felt suffocating, like his need to protect you was overshadowing the fact that you didn’t want - or need - him to fight your battles for you.
you let out a shaky breath, the first tear slipping free as the weight of it all settled heavier on your shoulders.
frank had always been larger than life to you - not just physically, though his sheer size and strength made you feel small in comparison, but in the way he carried himself, the way he seemed to command every room he walked into. it was part of what had drawn you to him in the first place, the quiet confidence that bordered on intimidating until you saw the softness he tried so hard to hide.
he’d always been gentle with you, even when his hands were so calloused and rough, even when his voice was so gravelly and low. it made the harshness of his words tonight cut deeper, the sharp edges of his anger something you weren’t used to being on the receiving end of.
you wiped at your face quickly, straightening up as you tried to pull yourself together. you hated crying - especially over arguments like this. it made you feel weak, even though you knew it wasn’t, and the last thing you wanted was for frank to think he’d broken you. he’d never stop beating himself up over it.
still, you couldn’t bring yourself to go back out there yet. not with the way his words were still echoing in your mind, the frustration in his voice still ringing in your ears.
you stayed there for a while, letting the quiet of the bathroom wrap around you like a blanket, giving yourself the space to breathe and feel without the weight of frank’s presence bearing down on you.
meanwhile, in the living room, frank was pacing again. his hands were on his hips, his brows drawn together in that way they always did when he was deep in thought - or pissed off.
he knew you were upset. hell, he wasn’t an idiot, and he’d seen the way your eyes were brimming with tears before you’d turned and walked away. it wasn’t the first time he’d pushed too hard, but it was the first time it had been directed at you, and it was eating at him in a way he didn’t want to admit.
but the anger was still there, simmering just beneath the surface, and he couldn’t seem to let it go. it wasn’t directed at you - not at all. it was at the situation, at the asshole who’d made you feel like you had to handle everything on your own. but frank wasn’t exactly good at untangling those things, at separating his frustration from the people he cared about most.
he scrubbed a hand over his face, letting out a low growl of frustration as he dropped onto the couch. his mind was running in circles, replaying the argument over and over again, each word sharper than the last.
the silence in the apartment felt deafening, and for a moment, he considered going to find you, to try and talk this out. but he stopped himself, his jaw clenching as he forced himself to stay put. you needed space - he knew that much, even if it went against every instinct he had.
he sat there for a long time, the tension in his body refusing to ease as he stared at the spot where you’d been standing just minutes before.
the car keys sat on the counter, untouched, while the clock crept closer to the time you were supposed to leave. it had been a whole thing - this charity function a few towns over. someone important to frank had invited him, and even though it wasn’t the kind of event he’d normally go for, he’d said yes because it mattered to them.
you had said yes because it mattered to him.
but now, with the argument still heavy in the air, the thought of sitting next to him for almost four hours felt like trying to breathe underwater. the quiet that lingered between you wasn’t the natural kind you often enjoyed. it was thick and suffocating, and neither of you seemed ready to cut through it.
you stood in the bedroom doorway, watching frank tie his boots like the act itself had wronged him. his movements were sharp, jerky, and his mouth was set in a grim line. you weren’t sure if it was guilt or frustration written in his expression, but either way, it left your stomach in knots.
he grabbed his jacket from the back of the chair, yanking it on with a force that looked like it made the seams strain. his head turned slightly toward you as if he was about to say something, but then he thought better of it, his eyes dropping to the floor instead.
you didn’t move, didn’t speak, just hovered in the doorway as he brushed past you toward the front door. the weight of it all - the argument, the way he hadn’t looked at you since - pressed down on your chest like a boulder, and your throat burned with more unshed tears.
when he held the door open for you, you walked through it wordlessly, your gaze fixed on the floor.
outside, the crisp night air felt sharper than it should have, like even the weather was conspiring to remind you how raw everything was. frank locked the door behind you without a word, and the sound of the lock clicking into place made you flinch.
he didn’t notice.
the car ride loomed ahead of you like a punishment, the thought of sitting in that confined space together for hours making your palms sweat. but there was no way out of it, not without causing more problems.
frank climbed into the driver’s seat, his hands gripping the wheel so tightly his knuckles went white. he started the engine without looking at you, the low growl of it filling the space where words should’ve been.
you slid into the passenger seat, keeping your hands in your lap and your gaze fixed on the window. the city lights blurred into streaks as the car picked up speed, but you weren’t paying attention to where you were going. your mind was stuck on everything that had been said - and everything that hadn’t.
he’d been angry. louder than usual, harsher, the words tumbling out of him like he didn’t know how to stop them. but you knew frank. you knew the fire in him wasn’t because he didn’t care - it was because he cared too much, and it scared him sometimes.
still, knowing that didn’t make it hurt any less.
the silence in the car was unbearable, the kind that made you want to fill it just so you didn’t have to sit with the weight of it anymore. but frank wasn’t giving you an inch, his eyes glued to the road and his shoulders hunched up like he was trying to shield himself from the world.
you stole a glance at him, your chest aching at the sight of his furrowed brow and clenched jaw. he looked tired - angry, yes, but tired too, like the argument had drained him in ways he didn’t want to admit.
your own emotions were bubbling up, threatening to spill over no matter how hard you tried to keep them in check. your hands trembled slightly in your lap, and you clenched them into fists to try to stop it, but it didn’t help.
you didn’t even realize you were crying until a tear slipped down your cheek, cool against your flushed skin. you brushed it away quickly, hoping frank wouldn’t notice, but you doubted he’d even glanced your way.
the road stretched on, dark and empty except for the occasional glow of headlights from oncoming cars. the longer the silence dragged, the heavier it felt, like it was wrapping around your throat and making it hard to breathe.
eventually, the ache in your chest grew too much to bear. you didn’t know what you wanted - comfort, maybe, or some kind of reassurance that everything would be okay - but the urge to reach out was overwhelming.
your hand hovered hesitantly over the center console, your fingers trembling as you debated whether or not to do it. it felt like crossing some invisible line, like putting yourself out there in a way that left you completely vulnerable.
but then you glanced at frank, at the way his brow furrowed and his jaw tightened, and something in you broke.
with tears brimming in your eyes and a small, helpless pout tugging at your lips, you let your fingers reach up to grasp at his. the touch was so light it was barely there, but it was enough to draw his attention.
he glanced down at your hand, his gaze softening instantly as he took in the way your fingers trembled and the sheen of tears in your eyes, the wet tracks of tears that’d already fallen etched on your face.
“ah, sweetheart,” he muttered, his voice rough but laced with a tenderness that made your heart ache.
his hand moved to cover yours completely, his fingers curling around your smaller ones in a gesture that felt both protective and grounding. his thumb brushed over the back of your hand in slow, deliberate strokes, and the tension in your chest eased just a little.
you sniffled, blinking quickly to clear your vision as you looked up at him. his expression had shifted, the hard lines of his face softening as he met your gaze.
“i’m sorry,” you whispered, your voice barely audible over the hum of the engine.
frank let out a heavy sigh, his grip on your hand tightening slightly as he pulled the car off to the side of the road. the tires crunched against the gravel as he put it in park, and before you could ask what he was doing, he was out of the car.
your breath caught as he rounded the front of the vehicle, his movements deliberate but not rushed. he opened your door, the cool night air rushing in as he crouched slightly to meet your eyes.
“c’mere,” he said softly, his tone a stark contrast to the anger that had been there earlier.
you hesitated for only a moment before unbuckling your seatbelt and letting him pull you into his arms. his embrace was warm and solid, his arms wrapping around you in a way that made you feel small and safe all at once.
“’m sorry, baby,” he murmured against your hair, his voice rough with emotion. “shouldn’t’ve yelled. shouldn’t’ve made you feel like that.”
you buried your face in his chest, your own arms slipping around his middle as you let out a shaky breath. “i’m sorry too,” you whispered.
“you don’t gotta be sorry, you did nothing wrong. my sweet girl’s just nice to everyone, isn’t she?” he cooed, his hand came up to cradle the back of your head, his thumb brushing gently against your temple as he peppered hard kisses over your face. “we’re okay?”
you nodded against him, a small, shaky smile tugging at your lips. “we’re okay.”
he pressed another kiss to your forehead, lingering for a moment longer than before. but instead of pulling back completely, frank’s lips trailed down, brushing lightly against your temple, then your cheek.
your breath hitched, your hand tightening around his shirt as he hesitated, his lips hovering dangerously close to yours. when your eyes flicked up to meet his, there was something unspoken between you - an ache, a pull that neither of you could ignore.
“frank…” your voice was barely a whisper, and it only made him lean in closer.
his hand moved to cradle the side of your face, his thumb brushing over your cheek as his lips finally found yours. the kiss was slow at first, soft and careful, but there was a heat behind it, a depth that made your stomach twist in the best way.
he kissed you like he needed you, like he couldn’t get close enough no matter how tightly he held you. his other hand slid to your waist, pulling you against him just enough to make you feel the strength behind every touch, every movement.
when he pulled back, it was with a low, rumbling breath, his forehead resting against yours as he tried to steady himself. “you’re somethin’ else, you know that?” he murmured, his voice rough and tinged with something deeper.
your cheeks flushed, your heart racing as you tried to find the words, but all you could do was nod, your fingers still gripping the front of his shirt.
he pressed one last, lingering kiss to the corner of your mouth before stepping back. “c’mon,” he said, his tone softer now, his thumb brushing your cheek one last time before helping you back into the car.
as he slid into the driver’s seat, his hand found yours again, holding on tightly. this time, neither of you let go.
the rest of the drive was quiet, but not in the same way as before. frank kept one hand on the wheel, the other holding yours firmly in his grasp. his thumb moved in slow, lazy circles over your knuckles, a silent apology with every stroke.
you felt the tension melting bit by bit, your chest no longer tight with the weight of everything left unsaid. instead, there was this warmth - a softness between you that hadn’t been there earlier. it was unspoken, but it was enough to ease the ache in your heart.
“we’ll stop soon, yeah?” frank broke the silence, his voice low and softer than usual. “get you somethin’ to eat.”
your lips curved into a small smile, your first real one since the argument. “i’m okay,” you murmured. “we don’t have to stop.”
“nah.” he glanced over at you, his eyes lingering for a second longer than they should’ve. “you didn’t eat much earlier. ain’t lettin’ you sit through this thing hungry.”
the tenderness in his voice made your cheeks heat, and you squeezed his hand lightly in response.
it wasn’t long before frank pulled off at a small diner on the side of the road. the neon sign flickered against the night sky, casting a warm glow over the parking lot.
“c’mon,” he said, cutting the engine and stepping out.
before you could even reach for the door handle, frank was already there, pulling it open for you. his hand was outstretched, waiting for yours, and when you slipped your fingers into his, he gave them a gentle squeeze.
inside, the diner was quiet, the hum of conversation and the clatter of dishes filling the space. frank led you to a booth in the corner, his hand never leaving yours until you slid into your seat.
“what’re you in the mood for?” he asked, his eyes scanning the menu even though you both knew he’d end up ordering the same thing he always did.
you shrugged, your fingers playing with the edge of the napkin in front of you. “maybe just some fries.”
frank frowned, lowering the menu to look at you. “you need more than that.”
“frank, i’m fine - ”
“i’ll get you somethin’ else too,” he cut in, his tone leaving no room for argument.
you bit back a smile, knowing better than to push him when he got like this. instead, you let him order for both of you, his gruff voice somehow softer when he spoke to the waitress.
when the food arrived, frank nudged the plate closer to you, his eyes narrowing slightly when you hesitated. “eat, sweetheart,” he said gently.
you rolled your eyes but grabbed a fry anyway, earning a satisfied grunt from him.
as you ate, the tension from earlier felt like a distant memory. frank had a way of grounding you, of making you feel like no matter how bad things got, everything would eventually be okay.
after the meal, frank walked you back to the car, his hand settling on the small of your back as he guided you outside. the night air was crisp, but his touch was warm, steady, and it made you lean into him just a little.
“y’alright?” he asked once you were back in the passenger seat.
you nodded, looking up at him with a soft smile. “yeah. i’m okay.”
his eyes lingered on yours for a moment, and then, without a word, he leaned down and pressed a kiss to your forehead. it was quick but tender, and when he pulled back, his hand cupped your cheek for a second longer.
the drive to the function was quieter this time, but it wasn’t the heavy silence from before. it was comfortable, the kind of quiet where words weren’t necessary because you both knew everything was okay now.
as you pulled up to the venue, frank cut the engine and turned to you. his expression was softer, his usual rough edges smoothed out in a way that made your heart ache.
“you look beautiful,” he said, his voice gruff but sincere.
your cheeks flushed at the compliment, and you glanced down at your dress, suddenly feeling shy. “thank you,” you murmured.
he leaned over, his large hand settling on your knee as he pressed a quick kiss to your temple. “‘m gonna keep tellin’ you that all night,” he added, his lips quirking into the faintest of smirks.
the warmth in your chest grew, and you couldn’t help but smile back at him. “you don’t look so bad yourself,” you teased, your tone light.
he chuckled, the sound low and rumbling, and you swore it was the best thing you’d heard all day.
“c’mon, sweetheart,” he said, opening his door. “let’s get this over with.”
as you stepped out of the car, frank was already by your side, his hand finding yours once more. he held it tightly, his grip firm and reassuring, and when he glanced down at you, there was something in his eyes that made your breath catch.
it was love - raw and unfiltered, the kind that didn’t need words to be understood.
and in that moment, you knew that no matter what, you and frank would always find your way back to each other.

I am a sucker for LADs men being jealous so~ could you maybe write a pre-relationship hc where MC has too much rizz and charm. Like women and men are chasing and fighting for her affection. And MC is oblivious or used to the attention so she doesn't do anything to stop the admirers and their kind gestures whilst the men are gnawing at the bars of their prison cells 🤔
That's all I got for ideas 😞 also keep uo the amazing work pookie dookie bear 😘
Pookie dookie sent me into orbit ngl but I am also a sucker for the jealous stories
Jealousy, Jealousy ~
You were just giggling away without a care in the world. Caleb was staring into the soul of the man in front of him. He worked under Caleb so he knew you more in passing than personally. He was eating up everything you were saying. You couldn’t even see the googly eyes he was giving you. He literally couldn’t keep his eyes off of you.
What sent Caleb over the edge was him putting his hand over yours. Caleb swiftly flicks his wrist causing the man to fall on the hard floor. You look over the table to see him groaning on the floor. When he got up his lip was bleeding making your eyes go wide.
“I’ll help you up.” Caleb offers taking the man by his arm before pulling him in roughly. “As your colonel I’d suggest you keep your hands to yourself unless you’re willing to lose them.”
The man gasps as Caleb pulls him up. You smile at Caleb’s helpful nature.
“He seems to have hit his head. He said he needed to lie down right?” He turns to the man making him nod quickly as he ran out of Caleb’s hold to a seat.
“Will he be okay?” You asked Caleb who just nodded with a smile.
“Of course he will. He just needed some convincing. You know how people in the fleet are.” He waves the man off making you feel reassured by his words.
Rafayel is one of the most jealous person you’ve ever met. If someone shows too much interest in you he loses his shit. Sadly for him, you are oblivious to your own charms. You were talking to a woman at his art exhibit and she was laying it on thick.
“You’re so radiant much brighter than the sun.” The woman fluttered her lashes at you making you laugh.
“What? Me? You’re really beautiful I mean look how you’re dressed!” You compliment her genuinely.
Harmless on your end however not harmless on the woman’s end. Rafayel scoffed before standing closer behind you. You looked up at him smiling brightly making his heart melt. He looked back at the woman with that evil, demanding glare in his eyes.
“My beloved knows that. I say it everyday.” His voice icy making the woman’s eyes widen and she walks away. You wave her goodbye as you cuddle up under Rafayel’s arm.
“She was nice wasn’t she?” You tell him making him roll his eyes to himself.
“A little too nice.” He mumbled before kissing your forehead.
Sylus doesn’t get jealous often but when he did he got very possessive of you. He also had the sass of an old woman. Poor you not seeing the advances of others or your own charms, you couldn’t see people wanted you in more ways than one.
“I just love your smile and your laugh is contagious.” The guy said as he stared at you dreamily. You smiled widely thinking you made a new friend.
“I’m glad we met each other! This is so fun.” You said cheerfully as you clasped your hands together.
Sylus pops up behind the guy with a firm hand on his shoulder. His sharp canines in the guys peripheral vision. There was an audible gulp as you smiled at the love of your life.
“I think there’s somewhere else you’d rather be.” He whispered to the guy making him scurry.
“My kitten seems to be attracting flies.” He spoke as he stepped closer to you. You tilt your head in confusion.
Flies?

Charlie was nice but you were too nice for your own good. Charlie’s niece came to visit and they were both bombarding you with going over there for dinner. Xavier didn’t like that at all.
“We can even have game night!” She expressed to you as you gleefully accepted. Charlie sat back and watched with a smile until he lifted his head and saw Xavier glaring back.
His eye was so evil it could scare the enemy before they could even step forward. You were just chatting away ignoring the subtle flirting of Charlie’s niece. When Charlie looked back at Xavier he was pulling out his sword. He only quickly puts it back when you look back at him.
“Starlight I’m not feeling well.” He pouted as he laid on your shoulder.
“Aww okay. We have to go but it was nice meeting you!” You cheerfully told Charlie’s niece before holding up Xavier before walking away.
He couldn’t leave without a lasting glare and a threatening glowing hand behind your back.
Poor Zayne having to share you with the world. He loves that you get recognized just not when you guys are spending time together. He likes to keep you for himself. Unluckily for him, you could charm a snake with that talk of yours. A smile that could blind even the blindest person.
“You’re even more gorgeous in person!” The man exclaimed making Zayne side eye him. The man just kept taking pictures of this ‘famous hunter’.
“Oh that’s so sweet! Remember to be more careful next time you’re out. A fluctuation can happen at any time!” You inform him as he gratefully takes your hands into his.
Zayne without thinking gives the man a cold shock to his wrist as you were busy smiling too hard. The man jolted back to look at his wrist. The ice was already disintegrating, the evidence long gone. He looks up at Zayne who has a cold gaze locked on him.
“Is something wrong?” You asked the man before he could speak Zayne had you by your shoulders.
“It seems his bones are frail. Let’s keep our hands to ourselves before he sustains anymore injuries.” Zayne’s voice drops just a little bit enough for the man to take the hint.
The man came up with a poor excuse on why he had to go but you were none the wiser.
“I hope he’ll be okay.” You told Zayne as you watched the man leave. Zayne just hummed uninterested in the man who tried to steal your attention away.
I didn’t know where I was going with this but fuck it we ball!

Hi, there! I've seen you're asking for some Thunderbolts requests, so: what about the reader and Bob having to share a bed during a mission, having both big crushes for each other? No pressure at all, only if you like the idea ☺️ thank you!!
a/n: Ah yes the one bed trope, one i love reading but never got around to writing. Okay so i didn't know if you wanted it to be a smut but i ended making it one 😬 hope that's okay. Also thanks for the request and enjoy!
Bob Reynolds X Reader: No room for secrets.
Warnings: smut, one bed trope, mutual pinning, forced proximity, wet dream, injuries (not graphic), kissing, Bob being a sweetheart, penetration (p in v ), cowgirl, handjob, kind of subby Bob, fluff, cute ending, no use of y/n.
Word count: 4.3K (i am so fucking sorry)
You were going to kill Valentina.
You’d stumbled into the room, half-walking, half-dragging yourself inside. The mission you'd just finished had been successful, but you didn’t get out completely unscathed. You felt like shit, and all you wanted to do was lie down and pass out.
And you were planning to—until you saw your room.
You and Bob always shared a room. It was just how things ended up being organized. Ava and Yelena got a room, Bucky and John shared another, and Alexei slept alone—because the Russian's snores made it impossible for anyone else to fall asleep in the same room. That left you paired up with Bob. It didn’t bother you. Bob was sweet and quiet. He kept to himself and didn’t talk in his sleep. He was practically the perfect roommate.
The only thing was that you each slept in your own twin bed. Space and privacy—well, as much privacy as you could get while sharing a room.
You stared at the queen bed in front of you, doing your best not to let your face show how pissed you were. You were failing miserably, of course. Anyone who walked into the room could tell you were angry.
You turned to face the door just as Bob walked in. He had a bag of chips in his hand, which told you he’d stopped to raid the snack machine on the way. He walked in, a small smile gracing his features.
And then he noticed your expression, and his smile shifted into a look of confusion.
You didn’t even bother saying anything, opting instead to just point at the bed. Bob moved closer to you, the bed finally coming into his line of sight. It took him a moment to realize the problem, his eyebrows rising as he finally understood the issue.
You sighed. You needed to calm down before doing anything else. Poor Bob wasn’t the subject of your anger, so you weren’t going to make him a victim of it.
“I need a shower,” you muttered, moving to grab your bag from the floor. “We can figure this out after we clean up, okay?”
You turned to Bob, who was still staring at the bed. He looked at you and gave a small nod.
“O-okay.”
You took your sweet time in the shower. Washing off the grime from the mission was easy; the problem was the thousands of little cuts and bruises littered all over your body. Every movement hurt a bit, and the soap stung wherever it found your skin. Still, you managed to get cleaned up.
You walked out of the bathroom, releasing a wave of steam as you stepped back into the room. Bob was sitting in the armchair, eyes glued to the TV as he finished his chips.
“Bathroom’s free. If you wanna clean up.”
Bob shifted his focus to you as soon as he heard your voice. He stared for a moment. You kept patting your hair dry with the towel as he observed you.
Bob couldn’t help but notice how pretty you looked. You were in what he guessed were your pajamas, your hair still damp from the shower, beads of water sliding down your skin. It felt awfully… homey, seeing you like this. So casual. So close. He was having a hard time stopping his mind from spinning a thousand scenarios of what it would be like to be with you—really be with you.
“Bob?”
You tilted your head slightly, your voice laced with a light note of concern. He’d been staring too long, and the questioning tone made it clear you’d noticed.
He shook his head, forcing himself back to the present.
“Sorry. My mind was somewhere else.”
“It’s okay. I left enough warm water for you. And there’s an extra towel by the sink.”
Bob’s heart fluttered at the thought that you’d cared enough to make sure he could have a warm shower—and had even laid out a towel for him. He stood, brushing crumbs off his lap before heading to the bathroom. You watched him disappear behind the door, and only then did you let out a breath. That look he’d given you… It wasn’t nothing. It couldn’t be.
You picked up the remote leaning on the edge of the bed as you flipped through the channels. Your head snapped over to the bathroom as you heard the shower come to life. Your eyes continued glued to the door for a moment, the documentary about baby otters suddenly forgotten. your mind kept drifting to Bob, standing just a few feet away, behind a thin door. Wet. Shirtless.
You sighed, shaking your head, forcing yourself to focus on the tv before you. You remembered you needed to pass some medicine in the worse cuts you’d gotten so you bussied yourself with that.
The water shut off after a while. You tried very hard not to glance up every time a sound came from the bathroom, tried not to count how long it was taking him to come out.
Then the door creaked open.
And there he was.
Bob stepped out, steam curling around his tall frame, hair damp and tousled, cheeks still flushed from the heat of the shower. He wore nothing but a towel slung low around his waist, clinging to his hips in a way that felt... unfair.
Bob lifted his eyes from the floor, expecting to find you dressed and relaxing on the bed.
He was not expecting what he saw instead.
You were shirtless, hands resting on your ribs, mouth slightly parted as you looked up at him. He froze mid-step, caught off guard, eyes dragging across your bare skin before he could stop himself.
You stared too—eyes tracing the lines of his body, still damp, still only wrapped in a towel.
And then, almost simultaneously, you both seemed to snap out of it.
You scrambled to cover yourself, suddenly realizing how exposed you were. Bob’s eyes widened as color flooded his cheeks. He turned sharply, head ducking as he tried to look anywhere but at you.
“Oh—sorry,” he blurted out, gripping the towel tighter with one hand. “I, uh, forgot my clothes in my bag. Wasn’t expecting you to be…”
His voice trailed off again as his gaze accidentally flicked back to you. He immediately dropped his eyes to the floor.
“You’re fine,” you said quickly, though your throat felt bone-dry. Your heart was pounding way too loud in your ears.
In your hand, the medicine tube you'd been holding slipped slightly as you clenched your fingers too tightly around it. A glob of the ointment squirted out and plopped onto the floor. Bob made his way to his bag as you let out a soft curse moving to scoop it up with your finger. Behind you, you heard the faint rustle of fabric as he changed, and you bit the inside of your cheek to keep your expression neutral.
“Do you need any?”
“Sorry—what?”
Bob turned to look at you, realizing you were carefully keeping your back to him as he changed.
“I’m dressed,” he said gently. “You can turn around.”
You glanced over your shoulder, your eyes immediately catching on Bob’s still very bare abs. He wasn’t wearing a shirt—but then, he never did when he slept. He ran hot, so he opted for fewer layers. You knew that from all the nights you'd shared a room with him. It had never been an issue before.
But now, the idea of lying next to him, just inches away from that warm skin, was going to be a problem.
“Are there any cuts that need ointment?” you asked, mostly to distract yourself.
“Oh, no, I…” He trailed off mid-sentence, looking a little sheepish. “I don’t get cut.”
You shook your head at yourself. Right. Of course he didn’t. He was incredibly powerful, despite having the most innocent face you’d ever seen. You were so used to looking out for him, you sometimes forgot he could bend metal with his bare hands.
“Sorry, I forgot.”
“You don’t need to apologize. It’s… nice. That you, you know—” he shrugged slightly “—that you care enough to ask.”
“Of course I do, Bob. You’re my teammate. I want to make sure you’re taken care of.”
Bob desperately needed you to stop talking to him like that. The warmth in your voice, the way you said his name—it was doing things to his head. Dangerous things. He gave you a small smile, his eyes drifting over your skin almost unconsciously.
You felt his gaze like a physical thing—soft, warm, reverent. You weren’t even sure he realized how he was looking at you, but it was doing things to you. Things it probably shouldn’t.
“You have one on your back.”
You blinked, needing a second to catch up.
“I do?”
You tried to twist around and look, searching for the injury.
“You probably can’t see it,” Bob said. “It’s like… right in the middle of your back.”
He opened his mouth, hesitated, then pushed himself to keep talking.
“I can get it for you. If you want.”
You couldn’t help the soft smile that tugged at your lips. Oh, this man is going to be the death of me.
“That’d be great, Bob. Thank you.”
You handed him the medicine and turned around. Bob squeezed a little onto his fingers—the cut wasn’t big, so he didn’t need much. Your skin tingled in anticipation as you waited for him to touch you. And when he finally did, you shivered. Partly because his hand was cool against your back and partly because it was him.
Bob’s fingers were gentle, almost too gentle, as he smoothed the ointment over the cut. The pressure was light, careful . His hand lingered a second longer than it needed to.
You felt it.
The pause. The heat.
Your breath caught for just a moment.
Then his fingertips brushed down slightly, like he was checking to make sure the ointment had spread properly. It wasn’t necessary—but he didn’t stop. And neither did you.
Your voice was quiet when you spoke. “You okay back there?”
Bob's hand stilled.
“Yeah,” he said after a beat, his voice softer than usual. “It’s just… hard to focus when you’re this close.”
That pulled your attention.
You turned your head, just slightly—enough to catch the faint flush spreading across his cheeks. His eyes were still on your back, but they kept flicking down, then away, like he couldn’t decide if he was allowed to look.
“We’ve shared rooms before,” you said gently, teasing. “We’ve slept five feet from each other for months.”
“Yeah,” he said, almost laughing. “But never like this.”
“I can take the floor.”
You’d been thinking about it for a while. You didn’t want to sleep on the floor—you wanted to sleep in the soft bed, preferably next to him. But you also wanted to be considerate.
You knew Bob had some issues with physical touch. He wasn’t opposed to it, but sometimes, when you caught him off guard, you’d see the way he flinched slightly—instinctively—before realizing you weren’t going to hurt him. Years of abuse would do that to a person.
Of course, you didn’t say any of this. You didn’t have to. Bob knew exactly why you’d offered. And still, he couldn’t help the warm, fuzzy feeling that filled his chest.
You were always doing stuff like this. Opting to help him out even when you had other things to do. You’d help with the dishes. You’d hang around with him in the living room, even though he was sure you could be using your time much better with training. Every time you could be near him, you chose to be. Bob tried to play it off as just your personality, but a small part of him knew better.
You weren’t like that with everyone.
You were like that with him.
“I know you like your personal space,” you added softly.
Your words pulled him out of his thoughts. He realized how long he’d been silent, his hand still resting gently against your back. The ointment had been absorbed long ago, but he couldn’t bring himself to move. Couldn’t bring himself to let go.
“I don’t mind,” he said, barely above a whisper. “If we share.”
You closed your eyes, your body relaxing instantly at his words.
You were glad he felt safe with you. You were really glad you wouldn’t be spending the night on the cold floor. You were glad that you’d sleep beside him tonight. It would probably be the last time you’d ever get a chance like this. So yes, maybe a bit selfishly, you were happy you’d be sharing the bed.
You turned around to face Bob. He shifted his hand down, resting it against his stomach. You took in the look on his face, your eyes trailing from his eyes to his lips, to the flushed skin of his neck. And then you turned to look at the bed, choosing to focus on the task at hand.
“Okay. So how are we doing this?”
It had taken you a total of five minutes to figure everything out. Bob liked sleeping on the left, you liked sleeping on the right—so that was easy. You’d offered to make a pillow wall for Bob’s comfort. He’d told you it wasn’t necessary.
The two of you entered the bed, each settling on your respective side. You lay on your back, staring at the ceiling for a moment. Bob did the same.
A small yawn escaped your mouth before you could stop it. Bob turned his head to look at you, smiling at your sleepy face.
“I’ll get the light.”
You gave him a small smile before turning onto your side.
“Good night, Bob.”
“Good night.”
Darkness took over the room.
Falling asleep was easy for Bob. Keeping his mind clear, on the other hand, was not.
The dream had started simply. He could see your face, a small smile on it as you looked at him. And then it shifted. Your brows furrowed as you let out a soft groan. He was beneath you, hands resting on your hips as you moved. The sight was beautiful. He could live inside this dream.
Unfortunately, his body was beginning to betray him.
You felt him shift before you heard him. You turned your head to glance over your shoulder, eyes catching on Bob’s shaking frame. Your first thought was that he was having a nightmare. You knew it was a common occurrence, so you didn’t startle. You turned around, your hand reaching to touch his shoulder—when he let out a soft whimper of your name.
Your hand froze midair, breath catching.
He said it again. Clearer now.
Bob was dreaming. Dreaming of you. And by the sound of it, the dream was far from innocent.
You wanted desperately to keep listening—but you felt like a creep. So, instead, you gently tugged at him, trying to wake him up.
Bob was pulled out of his dream rather quickly.
He gasped, eyes flying open as he jerked upright. Disoriented, breath shallow, chest rising and falling. His eyes darted around the room until they landed on you—watching him with concern, still half-leaning over him.
“Hey,” you said softly, your hand brushing his arm. “You okay?”
Bob blinked a few times, swallowing hard. His face flushed deep red as memory rushed back in. The dream. Your voice. Your name on his lips.
Oh god.
“I—I’m sorry,” he muttered, sinking back onto the pillow and turning his face toward the wall. “I didn’t mean to—”
“Bob.”
You said his name firmly, gently, and his eyes hesitantly flicked back to you. You didn’t look disgusted. You didn’t look uncomfortable. If anything, you looked…curious. A little breathless.
“It’s okay,” you said. “You were dreaming.”
He nodded, ashamed.
“Was it… about me?”
Bob hesitated, then gave the smallest nod.
You paused. Your heart pounded. And then, barely above a whisper: “Was I… any good?”
That made him look at you. Really look at you. His lips parted, unsure what to say. You were smiling—soft and teasing, but your eyes were serious.
Bob swallowed hard. “Too good,” he said.
And suddenly, you were very aware of how close the two of you were. Of the warmth between you in the bed. Of everything unsaid that had built up over weeks, months. Your hand slid gently onto his chest. You hesitated for a second, eyes boring into Bobs. You could feel his chest rise and fall against your palm. You bit the inside of your cheek, realising that you were really about to do this.
“Do you want to find out for real?”
Bob's breath caught.
You saw it in the way his lips parted, the way his fingers flexed slightly against the sheets, like he wasn’t sure whether to reach for you or ground himself.
He swallowed thickly. “Are you sure?”
His voice was low, hoarse, barely above a whisper—but it still managed to send a shiver down your spine. You leaned in just a little closer, your lips brushing the shell of his ear as you whispered:
“I wouldn’t be asking if I wasn’t.”
That was all it took.
Bob surged forward, one hand cupping your cheek as his mouth met yours—tentative at first, like he was still afraid you might vanish. But when you kissed him back, firm and hungry, something in him snapped. His hand slid into your hair, the other arm wrapping around your waist, pulling you fully against him. You took the hint, climbing onto his waist as you settled on top of him. Bob whined into the kiss as you grazed his hard on.
“You’ve been thinking about this, haven’t you?” you whispered against the corner of his mouth.
He gave a soft, embarrassed laugh and nodded, eyes fluttering closed as your hands moved across his stomach. “I—yeah. I didn’t think you’d ever…”
You cut him off with a firmer kiss this time, one hand slipping up to cradle the side of his neck, the other resting just above the waistband of his shorts.
“You think too much Bob. Just focus on the feeling.”
Your palm slipped inside his shorts and he groaned, head raising up as he did. The action caused his neck to be on full display for you. You took it as an opportunity to kiss him there. Your hand found his dick, fingers moving over the head as you littered his neck with wet kisses. Then slowly you shifted your grip, allowing you to begin stroking him.
Bob’s breath hitched—sharp and shaky—as your hand moved along his length. He whimpered, his hips bucking ever so slightly against your touch, chasing the friction. You could feel how desperate he already was, how quickly he was unraveling under your attention. It felt better than any drug. The sight of him panting slightly as his brows furrowed made you grind your hips down on him.
“God—” he gasped, clutching at your waist, trying and failing to keep still beneath you.
The sound caused you to smile.
“Am i as good as you dreamed?”
Bob gaspsed, mind trying to form a coherent thought to answer you.
“So much better.”
“Oh yeah?”
He nodded before letting out a small moan. You shifted around, tugging his dick free from his shorts so you could stroke him better. The cold air on his dick made him shudder but your warm hand dulled the shift slightly. His hands were still on the bed beside him. Almost as if he was afraid to touch you without asking.
“You can touch me too, you know? If you want to.”
That was all he needed. Whatever resistance he had left crumbled at those words. His hands found your thighs, holding you tightly as if he still couldn’t quite believe this was real. You leaned down to kiss him again, slower this time, your hand never faltering in its rhythm. He moaned into your mouth, every sound he made going straight to your core. You rocked against him gently, your own arousal growing with every twitch of his hips beneath you.
“You feel so good,” he murmured against your lips, his voice shaky with awe.
You smiled, brushing your nose gently against his. “You do too,” you whispered. “You’re perfect, Bob.”
His eyes searched yours like he couldn’t quite believe this was real—like any second he expected to wake up. You cupped his cheek, your thumb brushing just under his eye, grounding him.
“I’ve wanted this for so long,” you admitted softly, heart fluttering as the words left your mouth. “Not just this—us.”
Bob swallowed hard, hands still resting on your thighs like he was afraid to grab too tight, afraid he’d break the moment. “Me too. God, me too.”
Your breath caught, and you leaned in to kiss him again, slower this time, lingering—like you had all the time in the world. Your hand still stroked him gently, feeling every twitch, every little reaction as you poured everything into that kiss. Bob let out the softest whine, hips jerking involuntarily into your grip.
“I wanna feel you. Please, I need—”
You shifted your hips, clothed cunt rubbing against your hand and stimulating his dick.
“You want me to ride you?”
He nodded frantically, his voice nearly gone.
“Yes. Yes, please.”
You leaned down again, kissing him slow and deep. Then you shifted your hips back, just enough to push your underwear to the side and line yourself up.You both gasped at the feeling, completely overwhelmed. He filled you perfectly, and you stayed still for a moment, letting the warmth of him settle deep inside you.
“You’re so beautiful,” Bob whispered, his thumbs brushing over your skin like he was memorizing you.
You clenched around him, hips begging to quicken their pace. Bob's hands slid up to your waist, holding on like he might float away otherwise. His hips bucked up to meet yours every time you moved. The desperation was growing inside both of you. You wanted to take it slow, wanted to show Bob just how much you felt for him. But the need for him was stronger than you could control. Bob didn’t seem to mind, blabbering beneath you as you sped up. Your hands found their way to his chest, using him as leverage to lift yourself up before dropping down again. Bob groaned, his hands tightening just slightly on your waist.
“You’re all I ever think about,” he confessed, eyes squeezed shut like the truth hurt in the best way. “Not just like this. Always.”
The words hit you hard in the chest, and your movements stuttered for just a moment. You pressed a kiss to the corner of his mouth, then his cheek, then his jaw. You were overwhelmed, full to the brim with him—his scent, his voice, his body.
“You’re perfect,” you whispered against his skin. “You’re everything.”
His arms wrapped around you, holding you to him as your bodies moved in tandem. You buried your face in his neck, moaning quietly as each thrust made your core tighten and your breath grow shorter.
You could feel it building—slow and sweet. Not just the orgasm, but everything. The connection, the weight of unspoken feelings, the years of dancing around this. You were both trembling under the intensity.
“I’m close,” you breathed, a little desperate now, your hips moving with more urgency.
“Me too,” Bob gasped, clutching you tighter. “Don’t stop. Please, don’t stop.”
And you didn’t. You clung to each other like lifelines, chasing the high with trembling hands and whispered names, until it hit—hard and soft at the same time. A release that was more than physical. You came with a cry muffled against his neck, and Bob followed soon after, gasping your name like it was the only thing he knew.
When it was over, you stayed there, pressed together in the quiet, his hands still stroking your back gently, like he couldn’t bear to let go.
You stayed like that for a long time—foreheads pressed together, breaths mingling in the dark. Neither of you said anything at first, too wrapped up in the moment to break it with words. His hands never stopped moving, slow sweeps down your spine like he was trying to soothe you, ground you, or maybe himself.
Eventually, you stirred, gently lifting yourself off him with a soft hiss. Bob held your hips to steady you, eyes filled with concern.
“You okay?” he asked quietly.
You nodded, brushing his damp hair back from his forehead.
“Yeah. Just sore.”
He gave you a tired, tender smile that melted something deep inside you. You shifted off to the side, reaching for the blanket to pull over both of you. Bob curled closer instinctively, one arm wrapping around your waist, the other tucking beneath his cheek like a sleepy child. You ran your fingers through his hair, watching his eyes flutter shut, a soft hum of contentment leaving his lips.
“I meant what I said,” he murmured against your shoulder
“Me too.”
He smiled against your skin.
“Good. 'Cause I think I’m in love with you.”
Your heart skipped, breath catching. You pulled back just enough to look at him.
“You are?”
He nodded, shy but sure.
“Yeah. I think I’ve been in love with you since the first time I saw you.”
You smiled, your chest aching in the most beautiful way. “Then we’re in the same boat.”
Relief washed over his face like sunlight breaking through clouds. He leaned in to kiss you again—slow and deep, with nothing rushed or frenzied. Just warmth. Just certainty.
When you finally pulled apart, you tucked yourself into his side, your fingers laced with his beneath the sheets.
And in the quiet stillness of the room, wrapped in the warmth of each other, the weight of everything finally lifted. You both drifted to sleep.
Maybe you wouldn’t kill Valentina after all. Maybe you’d just tell her to book a room with one bed for you and Bob. For future reference.

Their reaction to you passing out must’ve been extreme, because the moment you tried to manoeuvre past Alfred Dick was there, standing in front of your door with a panicked expression. “You shouldn’t get out of bed,” he says with an attempted smile. It just makes you narrow your eyes and spitefully stand up. You ignore how the room spins and how your pain spreads to your neck and fingertips. It’s almost as if Dick can sense your discomfort (it would be a first) because the moment you lose your balance he’s there to keep you standing straight. “you really are stubborn.”
His words weren’t meant to make you flinch, but they still did. You don’t trust him, and you might never, anything negative from him puts you on edge (even if his statement is true). You never know how any of your siblings will react, and quite frankly you always found Dick the most difficult from all of your siblings. Impossible to read and always wearing that fake smile, he always used that smile when he interacted with you, keeping his real smiles for his true family. “Don’t touch me,” you hiss, raising your voice enough to wake Alfred up and enough for Dick to step back.
“(name),” he whispers as he moves towards you, checking your temperature with his hand not allowing you to flinch away from him. “Good, no fever….” Yet your eyes look anywhere but at his.
“Now that you’ve done the bare minimum to keep yourselves from wallowing in guilt,” you start, ignoring how Alfred’s face falls, how Dick’s breath becomes ragged and uneven. “I want you both to leave, I need to change for school.”
“You don’t seriously think you are going to school,” Dick says as his eyebrows furrow, his arm crossed on his chest. “not after passing out like that.”
You laugh, you couldn’t help it. Now they want to care for your health. “Didn’t you guys not send me to a hospital after I was viciously beaten and possibly had internal bleeding?” you shot back, and finally they look guilty. Their guilty faces and nervous ticks make you smile, finally you feel heard. “I pass out quite often, especially since then, I am going to school so get out, I’m going to be late.”
“At least let me drop you off,” Dick says before Alfred can protests. “it would make sense, Damian’s classes are in one of your school buildings today.”
You laugh. “Oh, he doesn’t want to be seen with me. Don’t you know?” But when you see Alfred’s nails digging in his palm you start to feel guilty. Perhaps Jason’s right and you are being a piece of shit. “But fine, I suppose, just get out I need to do my hair and put my uniform on.”
They listen, but once you close your door Alfred and Dick stare at each other. Having a conversation with each other with just their eyes. You are hiding something about your health, and they’ll force to the doctor if they must. “I’ll brief Damian of the plan,” Dick tells Alfred. “I’ll try to get more information out of them.”
Alfred nods and sighs; “Duke has been helpful but evasive, but it’s clear he doesn’t trust us.”
Dick nods, and he can’t help but think; ‘Who would? If they knew what we did?’
“He’s honouring (Name)’s autonomy,” Dick acknowledges as he brushed his hair back with his hands. “more then we have ever done…”
Awh, the poor bats are becoming self-aware, and guilt is weighing heavy. Too bad that it isn’t enough to compensate for your pain.
You, who had quickly done your hair (honestly you tried, it looks terrible but it is too much for you to handle right now, so it’s alright) and put on your uniform, was now in the kitchen, grabbing a quick bite to eat and make some lunch. It was important to nourish your body after such a health incident. You need to take care of yourself, alright? Otherwise Maria and Duke would absolutely hound you on this. You just wish Cassandra wasn’t here, analysing your every move. “You’re in pain,” she says simply. “you have been for a while.”
“Wow,” you say without thinking, looking over your shoulder slightly amused. “you’ve only noticed now?”
“I’m not talking about mental pain,” she says, and that makes you freeze, dropping your lunch box in your bag and you couldn’t be more glad about getting one with an extra safety lock. “you are ill.” You chuckle, you couldn’t believe it. Cassandra knows, and she has known for a while. “Is it because of Jason?”
You turn around as you place your back on the counter. “What has Duke told you?” you aren’t angry with him, no, whatever he told them, it doesn’t matter. He’s just trying to help. “Or is that just a small personal theory?”
“A theory, Duke has been evasive with his answers,” she admits, her eyes narrowing as she tries to read your body language. But it comes up the same as always, on edge, in pain and angry. “said that he wouldn’t break his future sister’s trust.”
“Huh, so Brucie is adopting him,” you comment.
“But he has told us the full story about what Jason did,” Stephanie says, coming into the room pretending as if she hasn’t been eavesdropping from the moment she realised Cassandra was trying to get answers out of you. “I’m sorry, if I knew-”
You scoff, cutting off her sentences. Your eyes watering, you always wanted acknowledgement of what happened. You wanted these girls to tell you what your family did was wrong. But it’s too late now, and Cassandra could read that. She could see your shoulders tense, biting your lip as you try and keep your breathing steady. You feel unsafe, and she wonders if she didn’t ignore your pain. If she realised the damage they were doing to you, would you be happier? Would you be healthier?
Oh, having a moral compass can be quite difficult, can’t it?
“I don’t want none of your apologies,” you tell them, your eyes look dull and they feel lifeless. Something Stephanie often saw with the victims her father created. Is she just as bad as her father? At this point she would say to a degree. And if you will allow her to, she’ll do anything to make it right. But there is no time for that, Dick is here to drive you to school. “and our conversation is done, Cassandra, be sure to keep your mouth shut.”
While Stephanie hasn’t heard the whole conversation you two had (and could you really call it a conversation?) Cassandra obviously asked something about your health. Something that you have hidden from them all, even legally.
Well illegally, seriously, how did you perfect replicating Bruce’s signature? Even Tim couldn’t replicate it to that degree, if he were to compare your falsified signature with one of Bruce’s actual signatures it barely has any differences (Barbara would love to learn from you). The ink only looks thicker on your falsified one, Bruce always kept his pen-strokes light and precise.
But there is no time to ponder about that right now, they need to focus on you actually getting into Dick’s care. He bugged it with one of his earpieces so that the bat-family could analyse you interacting with Dick and Damian. The two you always interacted with the most before Jason’s attack, but even that was limited.
When you got into the car, you notice how Damian was sulking. Something you’ve never seen him do, besides that one time that Bruce scolded him loud enough that you could hear him from your room. You ignore him and buckle yourself in, joining him on the backseat. “Don’t you want to sit in the front seat?” Damian asks confused, and you shake your head. No way in hell are you sitting next to Dick.
“I don’t like the passenger seat.” Liar, liar pants on fire~!
Damian’s eyes narrow and scratches the skin under his nail. ‘huh,’ you think, absentmindedly. ‘we have similar anxiety ticks.’
With that Dick drives away, trying to build up a conversation. But truly, you couldn’t give a shit. You’re texting with Duke, you have chemistry the first hour, and you want to make sure that he knows that you don’t blame him for letting Bruce adopt him and such. That you just hope that he would keep your back and stay close to you when he joins the family.
Truly, aren’t you embarrassed by this? How insecure can you be?
‘Ofc, I won’t! I swear I’ll explain everything once B signs the papers. Thank you for not being mad :)’ The text makes you smile, once Duke swears something, he keeps that promise. He’s more trustworthy than your mother, she always had her fair share of secrets.
‘I could never be mad at my favourite brother, and you didn’t out me so that makes me not being mad a lot easier /hj’ you sent back before closing your phone, closing your eyes in as you feel stress leaving your body. You’re excited to see him again, you can’t wait to tell your friends about Duke joining your family. It would make your time left there a lot more bearable.
The thought of not being alone withyour ‘family’ anymore made your frown disappear. But it returned the moment you got closer to school. “Drop me off here,” you say, ignoring how Damian’s hand itches. Clearly wanting to grab your uniform jacket. “my friends are waiting for me.”
Dick nods, knowing he shouldn’t push you. You’ll just shut down even more, and it would become even more difficult to re-connect connect with you. He could feel bile rise in his throat the longer he thought about what he has done, about the behaviour he has been complicate in. Oh, but how can he make you see that it was all for the best? How can he make himself see that it was all for the best?
He can’t, he should be on his knees begging for your forgiveness, but he knew that it wouldn’t be enough. He just doesn’t know what to do.
He doesn’t know where he went wrong.
“That was a disaster,” Damian says when he can see you running up to your friends. Dick sighs, but he agrees. Damian knows it, he can see the disappointment on his older brother’s face, it makes him angry at you. But at the same time, why was he angry at you for their behaviour? Why did he give up your love for Jason when he was clearly in the wrong? Is it because of his time in the league, or is there still hatred in his body for you just simply existing?
Oh, what can the bat-family do when all they’ve done is estrange themselves from you? Can they redeem themselves, or will Duke take their place? Will your friends take their place besides your side?
With Duke you would still be apart of their family, but if you were to estrange yourself further from them, go no-contact and acknowledge your friends as your family and only allow Duke in your life they would have no excuse to try and make you understand their side. To try and get you to forgive them.
Because if they right their wrongs, you’ll have to love them. Right?
NEXT PART well, I am using this chapter as a distraction, my grandpa is getting better already tho! And I'm allowed to visit soon, so he's out of any danger zones, if you have any feedback do tell me. I have too many ideas of how to transition to the full yandere part and my brain needs to slow down fr.

i’m drooling at ur older bf price (not much else to say except when/if u ever have more thots abt him please share 🙏)
previous
You curl in on yourself after sex, sometimes. It’s a pattern Price has noticed—you’ll finish, then he will, and in the humid moments after, the shutters in your eyes will close. You won’t meet his gaze.
He’s only asked once about it, and it had been so clear that the question disturbed you that he hadn’t pressed. You’d tell him, he reasoned, when you were ready—
(And he could nudge you in that direction in the meanwhile.)
The sink is put back together, cabinet door closed. Your sundress is wrapped and twisted around your midsection, naked breasts wet with his saliva and compressed against his chest as you lay panting on top of him. His shirt is in some far-off corner, thrown aside, and his jeans are around his knees.
“That was nice,” he murmurs in your ear, kissing your hair. He makes a home for his fingertips between your shoulder blades, walking the trail of your spine, up and down, slow as a tide.
“Mm-hm,” you say, out at sea. Far away.
He can’t deny that it disappoints him. But it isn’t about him, and he shouldn’t make it so. Even if it is about him, it isn’t actually about him—it’s about something else that has attached itself to him. Things are like that more often than not—deeper, older problems with hooks, the barbed kind that sink in and cling and won’t come out of their own accord.
So he keeps kissing your hair, and he keeps stroking your back. His softened cock hasn’t slipped from you yet, and he makes no move to dislodge it. You nestle closer to him; shift your body over his, a little, just for the feeling of it. He waits for the sigh—the long, steady breath you take after the act, after you’ve found yourself again in wherever it is you go after moments like this.
“This is probably weird to talk about after sex,” you say, and Price’s ears perk up.
“Nothing weird between us, dove,” he encourages. “What’s on your mind?”
You play with his chest hair a little, twirling it around with the manicured ends of your nails. (A manicure he happily paid for.)
“You’re the first man who’s ever given a damn about me,” you mumble into his neck.
“I’m sorry to hear that,” he says honestly. He kisses you again, because he wants to, and because he wants it to comfort you.
“You don’t make me feel stupid for not being able to do stuff on my own,” you continue. “My step—my mom’s husband. He used to make fun of me for, for getting confused about changing my car’s oil. Or he’d get annoyed at me. Or I’d need him to change my tires because I can’t do it on my own, and I’d call him for help, and he wouldn’t pick up the phone.”
“He sounds like a piece of work,” Price comments.
A younger version of himself would have offered to beat the shit out of the asshole. That self’s anger on your behalf sits radioactive in his chest even now—corrosive, roiling, righteous fury, ready to carve your name on whatever offal is left over after Price gets through with him.
But that would be for his own ego, not for you. That has no place here.
“Do you know—” and your voice breaks a little, “do you know how bad it feels when a man who’s supposed to look out for you treats you like you’re an idiot? Like you’re not smart enough to be worth helping?”
“Some,” he says. “It’s an awful feeling. I wish you didn’t know how it felt, dove. I’m sorry.”
He feels something warm and wet drip onto his chest, and your shoulders begin to shake.
It’s not the full-body, wracking cry of catharsis. Just an episode of something longer, something tired. A problem dealt with, over and over again—a wound that reopens sometimes, if it’s pulled the wrong way.
Price gathers you closer, wraps his arms around you tighter. He cups the back of your neck with one hand and murmurs “shhh” into your hair, soothing and quiet, squeezing you against him.
“I’m okay,” you say, a little watery. “Really, I am.”
“I know you are,” he says.
He tilts your face toward his, and kisses the center of your forehead. You meet his eyes with your own, wide and glistening with your tears.
“I’m always gonna help you, dove,” he promises, catching one that falls with the edge of his thumb. “And you can always ask.”

DEVOTION
Pairing: Jason Todd x Female Reader
Plot: A fight with Jason gets heated—sharp words, stubborn tempers, neither of you backing down. But when the tension snaps, it turns into something else entirely. Something raw, desperate, and messy.
Words: 10k
The apartment door slams behind you both, the sharp sound echoing in the quiet space. Your heels clack against the hardwood as you stalk toward the bedroom, too pissed to even look at him right now. Jason follows, his heavy boots thudding after you, that cocky swagger in every step even though you're very clearly fuming.
"Are you really gonna be mad all night?" he asks, tone half lazy, half exasperated.
You whip around so fast your hair flies over your shoulder, finger already pointed at his chest. "Yes! Jason, I swear to God, you're fucking impossible!"
His brows shoot up, that infuriating smirk tugging at his mouth. "What'd I do now, doll?"
"What'd you do? Are you serious?" You step closer, eyes flashing, and jab a finger into his chest. "You almost started a fight at the restaurant! Over nothing! Just—someone bumped into me, and suddenly you're ready to crack skulls like you're still some street kid with nothing to lose, except you have everything to lose, Jason! I have everything to lose!"
That softens his smirk, just a little. But it doesn't disappear, not entirely. "Baby, I had it under control."
"No, you didn't!" Your voice breaks on the words, frustration and fear tangled up too tight in your chest. "You never have it under control when you get like that. You stop thinking. It's like you don't even care what happens to you."
He exhales sharply, running a hand through his hair. "You're bein' dramatic."
"Oh, fuck you." You turn away, arms crossed tight, nails digging into your own skin like you can hold yourself together if you just squeeze hard enough. "I'm not being dramatic, Jay. I'm scared. Every time you act like your life doesn't matter, it scares the shit out of me because your life does matter. To me."
That knocks some of the wind out of his cocky sails, but true to form, Jason Todd never backs down that easily. "I can handle myself, baby. I've been in worse fights before you even knew me."
"And maybe that's the problem!" You spin around again, hands flung wide. "You're so used to throwing yourself into danger like you've got a death wish, you don't even think about the people who love you, who have to watch you do it. Who have to fucking wait and hope you come home in one piece."
His jaw clenches, that sharp edge of defensiveness flashing in his eyes. "I came home tonight, didn't I?"
"Barely! If Dick hadn't dragged you out of there—"
"—I would've walked out just fine on my own," he cuts in, voice hard, like he's this close to losing his temper too.
You both stand there, breathing hard, anger seeping through every pore. Your heart is hammering against your ribs, anger and fear and love all tangled into a knot you can't untie. And goddamn him, even now, with his blood still running hot from almost throwing down, with that cocky little glint still in his eye—he looks good. Messy hair, jaw clenched tight, that black shirt stretched over his broad chest, his hands flexing like he still has adrenaline to burn.
You want to shake him. You want to kiss him. You want to scream until your throat hurts.
Jason exhales, slow and heavy, like he's trying to ease some of that heat out of his chest before you both say something you can't take back.
"Baby," he says, quieter now, "I'm fine."
Your throat closes up. "For now."
He takes a step closer, hands sliding to your waist, fingers curling into your dress. "I'm not goin' anywhere, pretty girl."
You shake your head, eyes stinging. "You can't promise that."
Jason sighs as he leans down, forehead tipping against yours. "What do you want me to say, huh? That I'll never lose my temper again? That I'll play nice and walk away every time some asshole gets in my face? That's not who I am."
"I know," you whisper. "But it's who I wish you could be. Just for me."
That hits somewhere deep, somewhere tender he doesn't let many people see. But instead of softening, Jason leans into the heat instead because that's how he knows to handle fear, with fire.
"C'mere," he mutters, dragging you into him, arms wrapping tight around your waist. "You wanna fight with me? Do it right here, baby. Get it out of your system."
You shove at his chest, and he catches your wrist, twisting you into him like a dance, his breath warm against your ear.
"Or," he says low, voice all gravel and heat, "you can find a better way to work out all that attitude."
"Fuck off," you snap, but it's weaker now, your anger unraveling into something messier, hotter.
He chuckles, lips brushing the shell of your ear. "C'mon, pretty girl. You're pissed, I'm pissed, and you're standin' here looking like that." His hands slide down, grabbing your ass hard through your dress. "We both know exactly how this night's gonna end."
Your breath catches, nails curling into his chest again, not pushing this time, just holding on.
"Still mad at me, baby?"
"Yeah."
"Good." He grins against your mouth, teeth nipping at your bottom lip. "Let me make it up to you."
Your hands land flat on his chest, shoving him back, catching him off guard enough that he stumbles two steps out of the bedroom. And before he can say a damn word, you slam the door right in his stupid, handsome, reckless face. Not locked, just shut, because locking it feels too final, too mean, and you're pissed, but not that pissed.
Jason stares at the door for half a second, then his forehead drops against it with a low thud, and he knocks his head against it once, twice, just hard enough to feel it.
"Fuck."
He didn't mean to ruin the night. He never means to ruin shit when it comes to you. But the moment that asshole's hand brushed against your ass—innocent or not—it flipped a fucking switch in him. And maybe that's fucked up, maybe he's got a million unresolved issues tied to losing everyone he's ever given a shit about, but you?
You're his. His girl, his future, his everything, and seeing someone else's hand anywhere near you sends him spiraling into that ugly, possessive part of himself that only you've ever managed to soften.
And yeah, maybe the guy didn't mean it, maybe it was just a crowded restaurant and accidents happen, but Jason's not the kind of man who plays it cool. Not when it comes to you. Not when he loves you so much it hurts sometimes, sitting right there under his ribs like a bruise he can't stop poking.
He presses his palms to the door, wishing he could just rewind the whole night—go back to you looking so pretty at the restaurant, all smiles and soft touches, letting him steal kisses between courses. You'd been happy. And then he fucked it up. Again.
Inside the bedroom, you sit on the edge of the bed, fingers curled into the sheets, trying to hold back the sting in your eyes. You won't cry—you won't—but your throat's tight, and your chest aches, and the night feels like it's unraveling right between your fingers.
Tonight was supposed to be fun. It's Tim's fucking birthday, for God's sake. The restaurant had been beautiful, the food actually good for once, the atmosphere soft and warm with all your friends laughing and talking and teasing each other.
And then some random guy brushed past you on his way to the bathroom, bumping your hip, and Jason went feral. You love that he's protective—God, you do—but Gotham is full of crazy assholes, and you don't want him starting a fight with someone who might pull out a gun and blow his brains out over a misunderstanding.
The thought makes your stomach churn, fear sliding ice cold down your spine, and you have to shake it off before it eats you alive. You stand, fingers reaching behind you to unzip your dress, and it slides off your body in a whisper of fabric, pooling at your feet. And that's when you catch your reflection in the mirror, and yeah, no wonder he couldn't keep his hands off you all night.
The lingerie underneath? It's not the kind you wear every day. This is the good shit—black lace and thin straps, sheer panels teasing the curves of your tits, a matching thong barely covering anything, thin enough to show just how wet you already are.
Because for all the shit he's pulling tonight, Jason's still your hot ass, broad shouldered, cocky as hell boyfriend, and your pussy? She does not hold grudges.
You're still mad. You still wanna shake him until his teeth rattle. But you also want him to fuck you so hard you forget why you were even mad to begin with.
You sigh, tug open the bedroom door, and march straight into the living room, chin high, steps confident even though your knees are still a little weak from all that adrenaline. And, yeah, maybe from how fucking good he made you cum this morning.
Jason's slouched on the couch, head tipped back, hands dragging down his face, and when he hears your footsteps, he looks up, and freezes.
His eyes rake over you, slow and dark, tongue darting out to wet his lips like his mouth's gone dry. "Jesus Christ."
You cross your arms under your tits, pushing them up just a little higher. "What? Cat got your tongue, big guy?"
His gaze flicks from your face to your tits to the sheer lace stretched over your hips, and the way the thin strip of fabric between your legs is already dark with how wet you are.
"You're tryin' to fuckin' kill me," he mutters, half to himself, half to you.
You cock a hip, all attitude, even though your pulse is hammering. "Thought you liked a challenge."
Jason pushes up from the couch, moving slow, shoulders broad and tense, every line of him saying he's holding himself back—barely. "You're still mad at me."
"Furious," you agree.
"And you're standin' there looking like that."
You glance down at yourself, trailing a finger over the top of your bra, down the center of your stomach. "Yeah. What are you gonna do about it?"
He's on you in two steps, one hand cupping the back of your neck, the other grabbing a handful of your ass, yanking you flush against him. "Gonna fuck the attitude right outta you, baby."
"Promises, promises."
He kisses you hard enough to steal your breath, hands already roaming, already tugging at the straps of your bra, already ready to tear you apart and put you back together again, but you're faster. You grab two handfuls of his shirt, spinning him around and shoving him back onto the couch. He goes down without a fight, grinning like the cocky bastard he is, because you both know you can't actually budge him unless he lets you.
But fuck, does it turn him on when you try.
Jason sprawls into the cushions, legs spread, hands braced on his thighs like he's daring you to climb on top of him, but instead, you drop to your knees between his legs. His whole body tenses, chest rising slower, breath catching because you—all pissed off, all attitude, all tits spilling out of that black lace bra—are kneeling right there, looking up at him like you're about to ruin his fucking life.
And for once, Jason Todd has nothing to say.
You reach for his belt, slow and deliberate, dragging the leather free of the loops with a sharp tug, and you swear you see his fingers twitch. He's already getting hard, already pressing against the front of his jeans, already so fucking easy for you.
The buckle clinks as you undo it, popping the button next, tugging the zipper down with a sound that seems louder than it should be. And then you pull his jeans and boxers down just far enough to free his dick, and—fuck.
He's so fucking big, already thick and flushed, veins standing out along his length, and a bead of precum clings to the slit, catching the low light. Your pussy throbs on sight alone, clenching around nothing, still sore from the last time he was inside you.
Jason's hand lifts, fingers reaching for the back of your head—because of course he wants to grab your hair, guide your mouth, fuck your throat—but you slap his hand away, sharp and quick.
"No touching."
He freezes like you've just short-circuited every thought in his head. "What?"
"No. Touching." You wrap your fingers around the base of his cock, giving him one slow, punishing stroke, twisting your wrist just the way he likes. "You wanna act reckless? You wanna scare the shit outta me? You wanna start fights over shit that doesn't matter? Then you can sit there with your hands to yourself while I handle this."
Jason's jaw clenches, shoulders tight, every muscle in his thighs twitching, but he obeys. Barely. His hands grip the edge of the couch so tight his knuckles go white.
You lean in, licking up the underside of his cock in one slow, wet drag, ending with a kiss to the tip that leaves your lips shiny with precum. "You're such a fucking idiot, you know that?"
"Yeah, baby," he rasps, voice already rougher. "I know."
You pump him slow, fingers squeezing just right, thumb swiping through the slick at his tip before you slide down again.
"What if you got yourself shot tonight, huh? What the fuck am I supposed to do if you get yourself killed because you can't stand someone breathing in my direction?"
"Fuck." His head tips back, throat flexing, cock leaking even more into your palm.
"Who's gonna love me the way you do? Who's gonna fuck me if you're dead, Jason?" You squeeze his dick just to see his hips jerk. "Who else knows how to ruin me like you do?"
"Baby—"
"No. Don't talk." You flick your tongue against the tip, barely a taste, before you sit back on your heels, jerking him slow and mean. "You don't get to talk, you reckless, possessive, stupid fucking man."
His abs tighten, hands still white-knuckling the couch, and his cock twitches in your grip, a fresh bead of precum sliding down the side. "You love that I'm possessive."
You glare up at him, lips curling. "I do. But not when it puts you in danger, asshole." You kiss the tip again, softer this time. "Not when it makes me scared I'm gonna lose you."
Jason's breath stutters, and you see it. That crack in his tough guy armor, the one only you ever get to see. But you don't let him soften.
Not yet. Instead, you drag your tongue along the underside of his cock again, pumping him faster, twisting your wrist just right, watching his thighs tense and his hips fight not to thrust up into your mouth.
"Keep your hands there," you murmur, voice all sweet and mean at once. "And maybe—maybe—I'll let you cum down my throat."
"Jesus fuckin' Christ."
His head falls back, a bead of sweat sliding down his neck, and you know you've got him right where you want him.
Jason yanks his shirt over his head, tossing it aside, not even bothering with unbuttoning it, because if you're gonna make him suffer, the least he can do is give you something to look at. And fuck, do you look.
Your hands rest on his thick thighs for a second, gaze dragging over every inked inch of him—the dark ink across his chest, the jagged lines along his ribs, the script down his arms that you've traced with your tongue a hundred times before. He's so fucking hot, all muscle and attitude, sprawled out, dick rock hard in your grip, glistening with spit and precum.
"Enjoyin' the view?"
His voice is pure gravel, but there's a waver in it, like he's already hanging by a thread.
"Shut up."
You lean in, dragging your tongue along the underside of his cock again, tracing that thick vein with the tip of your tongue until you reach the head, circling it slowly before you take him into your mouth, lips stretching, jaw aching already, but you don't stop. You never stop.
He's too fucking big, he always is, but you try anyway, sinking lower, feeling the weight of him press against your tongue, the blunt head nudging the back of your throat.
"Greedy little thing," Jason mutters, hands twitching, and you see it. The instinct, the need to grab your hair and fuck your throat until you're crying.
But you slap his thigh sharply. "I said no touching."
"Baby—"
"No."
You sink back down, hollowing your cheeks, sucking him deep until your throat spasms around the fat tip, gagging. Tears prick your eyes, spit pooling at the corners of your mouth, but you fucking love it. Love the way his thighs tense, love the way his dick jumps on your tongue, love how fucking desperate he looks.
Jason's chest heaves, fingers curling into fists at his sides. "You're evil."
You hum around him, the vibration making him swear under his breath, and you pull off with a filthy pop, a string of spit connecting your mouth to his cock before you drag your tongue up the side again.
"Yeah? And what's that make you for loving it?"
"Completely fucked."
You grin, all teeth, and take him back into your mouth, bobbing your head faster, sucking him down until you gag again, drool dripping down your chin, slicking his cock even more. Your thighs press together, your pussy throbbing, panties soaked through. You can feel it, the sticky mess between your legs, the ache in your cunt, the way your body needs him, no matter how mad you are.
Jason groans, deep and low, and you glance up at him through wet lashes, seeing the flush on his chest, the tension in his jaw, the muscles jumping in his stomach. He's so fucking close already, you can tell, and every time he tries to lift a hand, you slap it back down, keeping him helpless beneath you, all that strength and power completely useless unless you let him use it.
"Baby, please." His voice cracks, and it's the hottest fucking thing you've ever heard.
You pull off one more time, stroking him fast and messy, your spit slick hand gliding easily along his length. "Please what?"
"Please lemme touch you."
You shake your head, licking up the underside again, tongue teasing his slit before you suck the head back into your mouth, hollowing your cheeks until his hips buck, just once, just enough to choke you again. You swallow hard, tears sliding down your cheeks, and his dick throbs so hard you can feel it on your tongue.
"Be good," you murmur around him, voice muffled and obscene, "and I'll let you cum."
Jason's head falls back, a broken groan ripping from his throat, and you know you've got him. You sink back down, taking him as deep as you can, lips stretched tight around the fat width of his cock, spit and precum slicking your chin as you work him with all the devotion you can muster. What you can't fit—and there's always part of him you can't fit—you stroke with your hand, fingers gliding over the thick base, your palm sticky with drool and his slick.
Your tongue works the head, lapping up every drop of precum he leaks, tasting that salty, addictive tease of what's coming, and you fucking love it. You flick your tongue against his slit, suck gently on the sensitive tip before you sink down again, sucking hard, cheeks hollowed so tight your jaw aches, but you don't fucking care.
"Jesus fuckin' Christ," Jason groans, his voice wrecked, head tipped back against the couch, muscles tight like he's holding himself together with sheer fucking will. "You're perfect, baby. Mouth so goddamn good—fuck, you always know how to suck me just right."
The praise makes your pussy clench hard, heat flooding your belly, and you double down, bobbing your head faster, working him with both your mouth and hand until your throat burns and your jaw trembles. Every time you pull back, you leave a messy trail of spit and precum glistening along his length, but you dive right back in, tongue swirling around the head before you take him deep again.
"Look at you," Jason breathes, his voice low and rough. "So fuckin' pretty like this. My perfect girl. You love this dick, don't you?"
You hum around him, the vibration making his whole body twitch, and he groans so low it vibrates in your chest. You pull back just enough to gasp, "Love it, Jay. Best fucking dick I've ever had."
"Yeah?" His grin is sharp, dangerous. "Then show me, baby. Show me how much you love it."
Challenge fucking accepted. You take him deep again, swallowing around the head, ignoring the gag reflex that flares up as you press lower, working him into your throat until your nose brushes the skin at the base of his cock. You gag again, spit bubbling past your lips, but you don't stop. You fucking love how heavy he feels on your tongue, how thick and hot and perfect he is, filling your mouth like he was made for it.
Jason's fists clench at his sides, his whole body trembling with restraint. "So good for me, baby," he mutters, voice cracking with it. "So fuckin' good. My pretty, filthy fucking girl. Takin' me so deep—fuck, 'm gonna cum, baby. Gonna fill that perfect mouth."
You moan around him, and that's it. His hips jerk, cock swelling, and then he's cumming, thick ropes of cum spilling across your tongue, hot and salty and so much, it makes you whimper as you swallow, throat working hard to take it all.
He always cums a lot, his balls emptying in pulse after pulse, and you keep sucking, milking him through it, letting every drop slide down your throat until your belly feels warm with it. His cock throbs against your tongue, so sensitive it makes his hips twitch every time your tongue flicks over the head, but you don't stop until you know he's completely spent.
"Fuck, baby," he groans, voice rough and almost shaky. "Gonna kill me one of these days."
You pull back slowly, licking your swollen lips, wiping the mess from your chin with the back of your hand, and grin up at him, all fucked-out satisfaction. Jason pulls you right into his lap, and you gasp, hands flying to his shoulders to steady yourself.
His hands slide down to grab your ass, fingers digging into the soft flesh, grinding you down against his cock, still hard and slick with your spit, and you moan when you feel the thick length press up against your soaked lace panties.
"Fuck," Jason mutters, dragging you along his cock again, feeling how drenched you are even through the lace. "That pretty pussy misses me already, huh?"
"Jay," you murmur, voice soft, needy, and when you lean in, he catches your mouth in a kiss—hot, messy, all tongue and teeth, licking into you like he's starving for your taste.
He groans low when he tastes himself on your tongue, dirty and possessive, and you whimper into his mouth, hips moving on their own, grinding down against him, chasing friction.
You break the kiss to breathe, forehead resting against his, and your fingers stroke the hair at the nape of his neck as you whisper, "Do you love me?"
Jason's hands flex on your ass, holding you tighter, and his voice is low, earnest when he says, "You know I do, baby. Love you so fuckin' much."
You lick your lips, eyes dark with want. "Then fuck me like you mean it."
His eyes flash—something feral, something wild, and before you can say anything else, he's moving, standing up with you in his arms like you weigh nothing before he lays you down on the couch, his jeans and boxers kicked off in one rough move. He kneels over you, hands already tugging your bra down until your tits spill out, and he doesn't even bother unclasping it before he's on you.
"Love these tits," he mutters between kisses, licking over one nipple, sucking it into his mouth before letting it go with a wet pop. His tongue flicks over the other, sharp and teasing, before he closes his lips around it, sucking hard until you gasp and arch into him. "So fuckin' pretty, baby. Could spend all day suckin' on these."
You tug at his hair, breathless, moaning when he drags his teeth over your nipple, just the right amount of rough. He leaves a trail of messy hickeys down the curve of your tits, marking you like the possessive asshole he is, and you swear your pussy gets even wetter from it.
He kisses down your stomach, hands already hooking into the waistband of your panties, tugging them down just enough to get access to you. "Love this body," he murmurs, licking over the waistband before kissing your hipbone. "Love this pussy. Love you, baby."
You whimper, spreading your legs instinctively, and he groans at the sight of your panties clinging to your soaked folds, the lace darkened with how wet you are. His fingers trace along the edge of the fabric, barely touching you, just enough to make your thighs twitch in frustration.
Then his tongue flicks out, teasing you through the fabric, just the lightest drag of warmth over your clit, and you jolt, hips twitching up, chasing more.
Jason hums, amused, as he pulls back, blowing cool air against the damp spot where his tongue just was. "So fuckin' wet for me already," he mutters, voice wrecked, his breath hot against your cunt.
His fingers slide down, pressing against the soaked lace, rubbing slow, lazy circles over your clit, just enough to make you ache but not enough to satisfy.
Your hips stutter, desperate for more friction, but he doesn't give it to you. He presses a kiss to the inside of your thigh, his scruff scratching at your sensitive skin, and then, another flick of his tongue, this time firmer, tracing over your clit through the thin barrier of lace.
"Jay—" Your fingers tighten in his hair, trying to pull him closer, but he only chuckles, the vibrations making you tremble.
"You love this, don't you?" His voice is thick with hunger, fingers still rubbing slow, teasing circles over your clit. "Love bein' all messy for me, panties soaked, beggin' for my mouth..."
He leans in again, dragging his tongue over you, pressing the fabric against your cunt, making it cling to every swollen, aching inch of you. Then his teeth close around the lace, tugging just enough to make you feel it before letting go.
Your thighs tremble, your body desperate for more, but he just keeps playing with you, running his tongue along the slick fabric, soaking it even more, his fingers pressing right against your entrance, but never giving you what you need.
"Jason—" you whimper, pushing up against his mouth, but he only smirks, pressing another teasing, barely-there kiss over your clit.
"Patience, pretty girl," he murmurs, eyes dark, voice rough.
He finally hooks a finger into the crotch of your panties, pulling them aside to bare you to him, and then his mouth is on you. Hot, wet, tongue sliding through your folds before fucking into you, slow and deep, licking you open like he's savoring every drop.
You moan his name, thighs trying to clamp around his head, but his big hands grab your thighs and hold you open, spreading you wide like he's got all the time in the world to devour you.
"Keep 'em open, baby," he growls, voice muffled between your thighs. "Wanna see this pussy when I eat you."
He fucks you with his tongue, nose brushing against your clit, and every time you try to roll your hips or squirm away from the intensity, he holds you down and just keeps going, messy and obscene, spit and slick dripping down to the couch beneath you.
Jason groans into your pussy, the sound vibrating against your clit, and he sucks. Soft at first, just enough to make you gasp, before he latches on and really sucks, lips wrapped around that sensitive bundle of nerves, tongue flicking against it, over and over, relentless.
"F-Fuck—Jay—" Your voice is all breathy, wrecked, your fingers pulling at his hair, but it only spurs him on.
He hums again, mouth still latched to your clit, and then drags his tongue down, lapping at your folds, hot and messy and so deep you feel it in your gut. He groans like he's starving for you, like he could live off this alone, tongue pushing inside again, fucking you slow and deep before dragging up to swirl around your clit.
And then he does it again. And again. And again.
His hands squeeze at your thighs, holding you open, keeping you spread, his thumbs rubbing slow circles into your trembling skin, soothing even as his mouth drives you insane.
"You taste so fuckin' good, pretty girl," he rasps against your soaked cunt, his lips slick, his chin glistening with your arousal. "Could eat you for hours."
He presses a soft kiss right against your clit before flattening his tongue, licking a long, slow stripe up your pussy, gathering every drop of slick before pushing his tongue back inside you.
You keen, legs twitching, and he groans into you, hands tightening, like he can feel you dripping for him.
"Goddamn, look at you," he mutters, breath hot against your cunt as he pulls back just enough to admire the mess he's making of you. "Drippin' down my fuckin' chin, baby—"
The wet, obscene sounds of his mouth on you echo in the room, filthy and desperate, and all you can do is whimper and take it.
When he pulls back just enough to suck your clit into his mouth again your whole body jolts, and he hums in satisfaction, eyes locked on you as your mouth falls open on a gasp.
"C'mon, baby," he murmurs against you, every word vibrating against your skin. "Cum for me. Wanna taste you."
It hits you hard, your back arching, thighs trembling in his grip as you cry out, body clenching tight before it melts into pleasure. You swear you see stars, the intensity making your head spin, and he groans low in his throat as he licks you through it, sucking every drop you give him, cleaning you up with his tongue like a man fucking starving.
He doesn't stop until you're trembling, oversensitive and gasping for breath, your hands tugging weakly at his hair, begging for a break. When he finally pulls back, his mouth and chin are glistening, and he wipes his face with the back of his hand, grinning down at you like the devil himself.
"Goddamn, baby," he mutters. "Tastes even better when you're mad at me."
Jason flips you onto your stomach like you weigh nothing, handling you exactly the way you love—rough enough to remind you how much stronger he is, gentle enough to show he'll never actually hurt you. And you already know what he wants, so you arch your back, pushing up onto your hands and knees, glancing over your shoulder with a bratty little smirk that makes his jaw clench.
His hands slide down your sides, slow, deliberate, before they settle on your hips, fingers digging in just to hear you gasp. Then he grabs the lace of your panties, tugging them down over your ass, baring your soaked cunt and the mess he already made between your thighs.
"Fuck," he mutters, palming your ass, squeezing and spreading you open to get a better look. "Always so fuckin' pretty back here."
The first slap lands sharp, making you jolt forward, your slick thighs trembling. The sting blooms hot across your skin, and you whimper, but it only makes you arch deeper, pushing your hips back toward him.
Jason watches, transfixed, as your pussy clenches around nothing, dripping slick onto his cock when he presses the thick head between your legs. He's still hard, precum leaking from the swollen tip, and you rock your hips, rubbing your soaked folds against him until he curses under his breath.
"Needy little thing," he grits out, guiding his cock to your entrance. "Can't even pretend you're not desperate for me."
He starts pushing in, splitting you open slow, and the stretch knocks the air from your lungs, leaving you trembling under him. "Oh, fuck—"
"Always so fuckin' tight for me," Jason groans, one hand stroking down your stomach, feeling the way your body stretches to take him. His fingers slip lower, over your clit, slick and swollen, and you shiver all over when he rubs slow circles over it. "Goddamn, baby."
You rock back, taking him deeper, moaning as your pussy clenches down hard around him. He curses, leaning over you, chest pressed to your back, and murmurs low in your ear, "You want me to fuck you like I mean it, huh?"
You nod frantically, words catching in your throat, and Jason groans, pulling back just enough to grab your hips, steadying you before sliding in deeper, bottoming out with one slow, brutal thrust.
He gives you a second, like he always does, letting you adjust because he knows he's big, knows he's a lot, and he loves you too much to hurt you.
But you're impatient, your body burning with need, so you glance back over your shoulder, panting, "Thought you said you loved me."
His jaw tightens, a flush spreading down his chest, and he growls, "I do."
"Then fucking prove it," you challenge, and that's it, the last frayed thread of his self-control snaps.
Jason's hips slam into yours, driving his cock so deep you see stars, and you cry out, fingers scrambling for purchase against the cushions. His hands grip your waist, holding you still so all you can do is take it, body jerking with each brutal thrust, wet sounds filling the room every time his cock splits you open.
Your cunt grips him like a vice, soaked and clenching around him, dragging him back in every time he pulls out, and the slick slide is so obscene, so messy, it only makes him fuck you harder. His hips snap against your ass, the slap of skin on skin echoing, and you bury your face in your arms, moaning his name like a prayer.
"Still wanna fucking die, you idiot?" you gasp between moans, glaring at him over your shoulder, and Jason groans, dropping one hand to slap your ass again.
"Shut up," he pants, driving in deep enough to knock the air out of you. "God, baby—you're so fuckin' wet for me."
"Because you're—you're so fucking stupid," you sob, half-scolding, half-moan. "What if—what if you get yourself killed, and who the fuck's gonna fuck me like this?"
"Jesus Christ," Jason groans, the filthy confession sending a sharp pulse of heat straight to his cock, making it throb inside you. "No one, baby, no one else is ever gonna touch this pussy."
He fucks you harder, deeper, grinding into you until you're shaking under him, toes curling, nails clawing at the couch. Every thrust punches little gasps from your throat, and you can't stop talking, can't stop scolding him even as he's fucking you stupid.
"You love me?" you pant, voice high and breathless.
"Love you so much, baby," he groans, leaning over you, lips against your ear. "Love you, love this body, love this perfect fuckin' pussy. All mine, baby. All fuckin' mine."
"Show me," you whisper, voice shaking. "Show me how much."
Jason's hips snap forward, hard enough to drive you into the couch, and you moan his name, cunt squeezing tight around him. "I'll show you, doll," he pants, sweat dripping down his back. "I'll show you exactly how much."
His hands are everywhere—gripping your hips, spreading your ass, fingers digging into your skin hard enough to leave marks tomorrow, and you'll love every fucking one of them. Each thrust is brutal, his cock sliding in and out of your soaked pussy, so slick with arousal and his precum that it drips down your thighs, making a mess.
"Look at this greedy fuckin' pussy," he groans, thumbs spreading you open wider just so he can watch. "Suckin' me in like you missed this dick."
"I did," you gasp, fingers clutching at the couch cushions. "But you're still a fucking idiot."
Jason grits his teeth, hips snapping forward hard enough to shove you up the couch, your knees scraping against the fabric. Your slick little cunt grips him tight, soft and warm and soaked inside, milking his cock every time he drags back just to slam back in. Precum leaks from the swollen tip, mixing with your slick, and every thrust pushes it deeper, making you feel so full you can barely breathe.
The couch creaks under both of you, the whole thing rocking with the force of his thrusts, and Jason can't tear his eyes away from the way your ass bounces every time his hips smack into you. Your skin glows, sweat-slick and gorgeous, and he can see the way his dick stretches you open, disappearing into your perfect pussy over and over again.
"Fuck, baby," he groans, almost to himself. "You're perfect. This pussy's fuckin' perfect."
"Damn right it is," you pant, pushing back against him until you're stuffed full all over again. "And if you get yourself killed, who the fuck is supposed to fuck me like this?"
That ticks him off just right this time. His hand shoots out, grabbing the back of your neck, not to hurt, but to hold, to control, and he hauls you upright, your back pressed flush to his broad chest. You gasp, legs shaking, the stretch of his cock inside you deeper, hitting that sweet spot that makes you cry out.
"Who said I was goin' anywhere?" he growls against your ear, hand sliding up from your neck to wrap gently around your throat. "You think I'd leave you, baby? Fuck no."
His other hand finds your tits, fingers tugging at the bra you still hadn't taken off, yanking the cups down completely so your soft skin spills into his hand. He palms your breast, rolling your nipple between his fingers, and you moan loud, head tipping back onto his shoulder.
"You love me?" you whisper, breath hitching with every thrust.
"You know I do," he pants, fucking up into you, hips rolling slow but deep, stuffing you so full you swear you can feel him in your throat.
"Then fucking show me," you challenge, rocking your hips down to meet him.
Jason groans, fingers tightening on your throat just a little, enough to make your cunt flutter around him. "I am," he mutters, mouth hot on your neck. "Fuckin' you so good no one else could ever touch you— no one else could make you this wet, this fuckin' messy."
He shoves you back down, face to the cushions, ass in the air, spreading you wide so he can see everything. Especially the way your slick pussy stretches around him, sucking him back in every time he pulls out, shiny with your wetness and his precum.
"Fuckin' shit, baby," he groans, watching his cock slide in and out of your perfect little pussy. "You're fuckin' drippin'."
"Because you're that good, asshole," you snap back, voice muffled by the cushions.
Jason slaps your ass hard enough to make you jolt, cunt squeezing down on him so tight his vision blurs for a second. "Yeah? Then why the fuck you talkin' so much?"
"Because you're a fucking idiot," you sob, back arching when he drives in deep. "You don't—you don't need to start shit every time someone looks at me, Jay. You're the only one who gets to fuck me like this, don't you know that?"
Jason groans, hands tightening on your hips as he slams into you harder, hips snapping, driving you into the couch so deep your knees nearly buckle.
"I know, doll," he pants, voice wrecked. "I know, fuck—I just love you so much, I can't stand anyone else even lookin' at you."
"Then—then fuck me harder," you gasp, tears in your eyes from how good he feels, how perfectly his thick cock fills you up, dragging against every sweet spot inside you. "Fuck me so good I can't even think about anyone else."
Jason yanks you up again, your back flush to his sweat-slick chest, his cock buried so deep you swear you feel him in your fucking lungs. His big hand cups your jaw, turning your face toward him, and he kisses you messy, tongue sliding between your parted lips like he's starving for the taste of you. It's sloppy, wet, both of you panting into each other's mouths, sucking on tongues, biting at lips.
You moan into his mouth when his free hand finds your clit, two fingers rubbing sharp, relentless circles over the sensitive little bud. It's too much, too fast, your cunt already stretched wide and soaked around him, every rub of his fingers making you clench down tighter.
"Fuck, baby," he groans, breath hot against your cheek, hips snapping up into you so hard you bounce. "You're so fuckin' wet—you're drippin' all over my dick."
His fingers don't slow down, and you can't do anything but take it, legs shaking, cunt squeezing around him, your swollen clit throbbing under his ruthless touch. The heat coils low in your belly, sharp and fast, climbing so high so fast it almost scares you.
"Jay—fuck—wait, I—"
Your hand flies down, grabbing at his wrist, trying to ease him off your overstimulated clit, but he's not budging, the muscle in his forearm flexing as he presses down harder.
"No," he growls into your ear, voice wrecked. "You wanted me to fuck you like I mean it? This is what that fuckin' means, baby."
His dick pounds into you mercilessly, every thrust dragging against your sweetest spot, thick and hot and leaking inside you, smearing precum along your fluttering walls. You're soaking him, so slick you can hear the obscene squelch every time he sinks in to the hilt as he rubs your puffy little clit.
Your whole body locks up, spine arching, mouth falling open as you cum so hard it knocks the breath out of you, that sharp edge of pleasure tipping you into freefall. Your pussy clamps down on his cock, tight and trembling, and Jason fucking moans, jaw clenched, hips stuttering as you soak his dick with wave after wave of hot, slick arousal.
But he doesn't stop.
"Gimme more," he pants, fingers ruthless on your clit. "C'mon, baby, you can do it, show me how messy you can get."
"Jason, I—fuck—fuck—"
Your thighs quake, eyes rolling back, and when he starts to slap over your clit lightly, it hits like a live wire—your whole body seizes, cunt pulsing around him, and then it happens.
You fucking squirt, hot and sudden, a slick rush spilling from your cunt, drenching both of you in a messy gush that soaks the couch, his thighs, your thighs—every inch of skin that's pressed together—leaving your pussy glistening, clenching around his dick as your juices drip down to the cushions. It's a mess you didn't even know you could make, and Jason loses it.
You both knew you could squirt when you were drunk off your ass, but this? This was all him. And you're both wrecked with it—you, boneless and trembling, him, harder than fucking steel inside you, completely gone for you.
"Holy fuck, baby," he groans, voice somewhere between awe and pure hunger.
Your whole body shakes, tears spilling down your cheeks from the sheer intensity, overstimulated to the point of pain-tinged pleasure, and Jason kisses you through it, swallowing your sobs and moans right from your tongue.
It's still so messy—hot, wet, open-mouthed, tongues licking into each other's mouths, tasting sweat and spit and you, and he groans deep in his chest like you're the best thing he's ever had.
His cock keeps sliding into your soaked, fluttering cunt, so slick it's almost effortless, but you're still so tight, sucking him in greedily. His fingers finally ease off your clit, stroking instead of circling, soothing instead of torturing, but his kiss stays just as hungry. Desperate like he's trying to memorize your taste, the way you moan into his mouth when you can barely even catch your breath.
"Baby," he murmurs between kisses, breathless and tender and filthy all at once. "You're so fuckin' good for me. Love this pussy—love you."
Jason's lips break from yours, sliding down your jaw, over the curve of your throat, hot breath ghosting over your pulse before his mouth seals against your neck. He sucks hard, tongue flicking over the skin, leaving a bruising, sloppy mark.
And the whole time, his hips keep working, dragging his thick cock in and out of your soaked, swollen cunt, slow but deep, hitting every spot that makes your toes curl.
"Fuck, Jay—" you whimper, head tilting to give him more of your neck, hands clutching at his wrists, his arms, anywhere you can reach to steady yourself.
He hums low in his throat, all smug and wicked, and you can feel him smirk against your skin. "You want my cum, baby?"
You moan loud, nodding so fast it makes him chuckle.
"Of course you do," he murmurs, voice low and gravelly, kissing his way up to your ear. "This needy little pussy loves my cum, huh?"
"Yes," you gasp, writhing against him, trying to push back and take him deeper, to make him give it to you.
But he just teases, slowing his thrusts, dragging every inch out before pushing back in so slowly, letting you feel just how thick and hot he is inside you. "Thought you were mad at me, pretty girl."
"I am," you snap, but it's breathless, your earlier fire softened by the way he's fucking you so deep and slow, pulling every sound he loves right out of your throat.
"Yeah?" he smirks, tongue licking over your racing pulse. "Then why should I cum inside this perfect little pussy if you're still so fuckin' mad?"
"Jason—" you whine, pushing back harder, but his hand holds you steady, thumb pressing into your hip, controlling the pace no matter how desperate you are.
"Gotta convince me, baby," he taunts, voice all low and syrupy-sweet, fingers sliding down to your clit just to flick it, making you jolt and clench down hard on his cock. "Why should I fill you up, huh? Gimme one good reason."
"Because I need it," you gasp, fingers clawing at the couch cushions. "Need you to cum inside me, need to feel it—fuck—please, Jay."
"Need it?" He grins against your neck, biting just hard enough to make you yelp. "Sounds like my girl's not so mad after all."
"I am—"
"No, you're not," he cuts you off, fucking into you a little faster, just to hear the pitch of your voice climb. "You just like actin' tough until you're full of my dick, huh?"
You nod frantically, pride shredded, nothing left but raw, aching need. "Yes—yes—God, yes—please, Jay."
"Please, what?" His cock drags against your sweet spot with every thrust, his fingers circling your clit again, faster this time. "Say it, baby. Tell me exactly what you want."
"Want you to cum inside me," you sob, back arching, thighs trembling. "Want to feel it dripping out—want to be so fucking full of you, Jay, please—"
That does it. His grip tightens as he snaps his hips forward, fucking you deep, no more teasing, just hard, filthy thrusts, skin slapping skin, his cock driving into your slick little cunt until the wet noises echo louder than your breathless moans.
"Fuck, baby," he groans, forehead pressing to your shoulder. "Gonna give it to you— gonna fill this perfect pussy up."
You moan his name like a prayer, clenching down so hard it makes him stutter, and then he's gone, hips jerking, cock throbbing deep inside you as he spills, hot and thick, cum flooding your pussy in pulse after pulse after pulse.
It's so much—the heat of it, the way his dick twitches inside you with every spurt, and fuck, you feel everything. The way his cock pulses, the way his cum paints your insides, so deep, so full, your body reacts before you even realize, pleasure slamming through you again, white-hot and all-consuming.
"Oh—fuck—fuck—"
Your whole body trembles, seizing up as you arch, as your walls clamp down hard around his dick, the overstimulation pushing you over the edge again, even sharper this time.
Jason groans, choked and wrecked, because he feels it. The way your pussy flutters, grips him like a vice, milking him, dragging out his orgasm as another thick pulse of cum spurts deep inside you.
"Shit, pretty girl—fuck—"
His voice is hoarse, breathless, hands locking onto your hips as he bucks up, rutting into you with slow, desperate rolls, like he's trying to fuck his cum deeper.
You're soaking him, your release gushing around his dick, slick dripping down to his balls, making everything filthy as you keen, breath hitching, body trembling. The pleasure is so much you can't stop shaking, can't stop gasping, every little twitch of his cock sending more sparks crackling through your limbs.
Jason groans again, deep and raw, his fingers digging into your skin, keeping you right where he wants you, his cock still buried inside, still throbbing, even as his hips slow, his whole body shuddering against yours.
"Jesus Christ, baby—" He swallows hard, head falling forward against your shoulder, voice thick, half-slurred. "Damn near killed me."
But he doesn't let go. He won't. His arms curl around you, holding you close, keeping you locked against him, cock still nestled deep, even as his cum drips out, thick and hot, making a mess between your thighs.
You both shudder, your pussy milking him for everything, his cock twitching, still so sensitive it makes him groan low in his throat as he grinds against you, lazy and slow. You're so full you leak around him, creamy slick dripping down his balls, sticky and hot, smearing where your thighs press together.
It's messy, obscene, perfect, and he loves every second of it.
He kisses your shoulder, still panting, his hand sliding up your stomach to cup your tits, lazy fingers playing with one nipple. "Still mad, baby?"
"Maybe," you mumble, face buried in the crook of his neck, completely fucked stupid.
Jason's laugh rumbles low in his chest, warm and rough and just so him, his lips pressing to your temple in a lazy, affectionate kiss. "You're a terrible liar, doll."
His cock slips free from your fluttering cunt with a slick, obscene noise, your pussy clenching reflexively at the sudden emptiness, already missing him even with his cum still leaking from your swollen slit. It smears down your inner thighs, dripping onto the couch cushion below, and Jason watches it like a man obsessed, fingers tracing over the slick mess he made of you before finally easing you down against him.
You whine, soft and spent, but you don't fight it when he turns you gently, pulling your smaller body right on top of his, the perfect little puzzle piece to his broad, muscular frame. Your skin feels like it's buzzing, every inch of you overstimulated and tender, but his hands are so gentle.
Big palms soothing up and down your back, warm fingers tracing lazy circles along your spine. His lips find your temple again, softer this time, and the two of you just breathe, hearts still pounding, somehow falling into the same steady rhythm.
You nuzzle into his neck, breath warm against his skin, and for a while, the only sound is both of you catching your breath, bodies molding together.
After a long, quiet moment, Jason's voice breaks the silence—rough, hesitant. "I'm sorry."
You blink up at him, your face blissed-out and sleepy, limbs heavy, but you still reach up, cupping his cheek, thumb brushing gently over the scar there. His hand comes up to cover yours, his palm dwarfing yours as he lifts it to his mouth, kissing your palm, his lips warm and soft.
"I'm sorry too," you murmur, voice soft, but Jason just shakes his head.
"Nah," he says, eyes flicking up to the ceiling like it's easier to talk to that than to you. "It was my fault. I just..." he trails off, breath hitching slightly, and for a rare moment, Jason Todd looks nervous.
You wait, patient and quiet, until he finally sighs, his grip on your hand tightening just a bit. "I never had this kind of love before," he says, voice so low you almost miss it. "Ever."
Your heart aches, and you squeeze his hand back, silently urging him to keep going.
"And yeah, I don't—I don't know how to behave sometimes," he admits, tongue flicking out to wet his lips. "I know it's wrong to be so fuckin' possessive. To assume you're mine just because I want you to be."
"Baby," you whisper, brow furrowing, but he keeps talking, like he has to get it all out before he loses his nerve.
"It's selfish and stupid," he says, frustrated with himself. "But I just... I never felt this way about anyone before. And it's fuckin' terrifyin', but it's also the best goddamn thing that's ever happened to me."
Your chest aches, soft and warm and so full of love for this man who's only ever known how to fight for what he wants, and now he's fighting himself, just to figure out how to love you right.
You tilt his chin until he's looking at you again, your eyes wide and soft and just a little stunned, because yeah, Jason's softer with you, you know that. But this? This vulnerability, this naked honesty, this is rare. This is the part of him no one gets to see.
"What are you talking about, baby?" you whisper, thumb tracing his lower lip. "I'm yours. You don't have to doubt that."
His eyes darken, something vulnerable flickering beneath the heat. "Yeah, but—"
"No 'but'," you cut him off, leaning down to kiss him—soft, sweet, no heat this time, just love. "I am yours, Jay. You don't own me, but I belong to you. And that's my choice."
His arms tighten around you, almost crushing you to his chest, but you don't complain. You just melt into it, letting him hold you like he's afraid you'll slip through his fingers if he lets go.
And yeah, maybe your pussy's still throbbing, and there's cum dripping down your thighs, and you both reek of sweat and sex, but right now? Right now, all that matters is this.
You shift slightly on top of him, just enough to press your lips to his chest—soft, lingering, right over his heart. It's steady beneath your mouth, a quiet, strong beat that reminds you he's here. And you hold onto that, breathing him in as you kiss him again, even softer this time.
Jason's hand slides up your back, fingers weaving into your hair as he cups the back of your head, guiding you up just enough to press a kiss to your forehead. It's so gentle, so sweet, and your chest aches all over again, tears pricking at the back of your eyes.
"I'm sorry I said I want you to change for me," you murmur, voice quiet and a little hoarse. "I didn't mean it like that. I just..." you sigh, fingers tracing idle patterns over his ribs. "I knew what I was getting into when we first met. I knew. And I thought that over time, it would be easier to just... I don't know... get used to the idea that one day you might not come home."
His hand tightens slightly in your hair, not enough to hurt, just enough to let you know he's listening.
"But it's not," you whisper, voice cracking slightly.
"I know," he says softly, his lips finding your temple again.
You exhale, shaky and uneven, and your voice wavers when you say, "I just want you to promise you'll always come back to me. I can't lose you, Jason. You're the only person in my life I've ever loved like this, and I just... I can't—"
The words catch in your throat, and you almost sniffle, but Jason's already there, tilting your chin up until you meet his gaze. And fuck, the way he looks at you—like you're everything, like you hung the goddamn moon—it almost breaks you.
He can't stand seeing you cry. Not like this. Crying because he fucks you stupid? Sure, any day of the week. But crying because you're scared of losing him? That kills him a little.
His thumb strokes along your cheek, brushing away the tears threatening to spill. "I promise, doll," he says, voice low and steady and so fucking sincere it hurts. "I'll always come back to you."
You nod, swallowing hard before you nuzzle back into the crook of his neck, letting his warmth wrap around you like a shield. His arms tighten around you again, holding you like you're his lifeline. And maybe you are.
And yeah, there's still mess between your thighs, and the couch probably needs to be burned after what you just did to it, but none of that matters right now. All that matters is this. Just you and Jason, skin to skin, hearts pounding in sync, holding onto each other like the world outside doesn't exist.
After a quick cleanup—you both do what you can with the poor couch, but honestly, there's only so much scrubbing that'll save it—you end up in the shower together, lazily soaping each other up with that vanilla body wash you love. Jason grumbles about how it's too sweet and not him, but the second you press your slick, warm body against his under the spray, he shuts up real fast.
Wrapped in clean clothes, smelling like dessert, you curl up on the couch, freshly dressed in one of his worn-out t-shirts that hangs off your shoulder and a pair of cotton panties. Jason settles next to you in his sweats, bare chested, all warm skin and ink as you tangle yourself around him like the needy gremlin you are.
A box of shitty pizza rests between you—a sad, greasy excuse for a meal, but somehow perfect for tonight—and some trash reality show plays in the background, the kind that makes you both question humanity.
Jason glances at you, his arm stretched around your shoulders, fingers tracing lazy circles on your skin. "So... we good?"
You roll your eyes, groaning dramatically, before leaning over to chomp a massive bite out of his slice, despite the fact you're already holding your own.
"You little brat," he mutters, shaking his head, but there's no real heat in it. If anything, the way he smiles at you—soft, warm, a little exasperated—makes your chest feel too small for your heart.
You just flash him a smug grin, mouth full of stolen pizza, and lean your head on his shoulder, sighing happily. "We're good, Jay."
And yeah, the couch will never be the same, and the pizza's objectively terrible, and the show's giving you both secondhand embarrassment. But with you curled into him, his arm wrapped around your waist, and your bare leg hooked over his thigh, Jason figures he might just be the luckiest motherfucker in Gotham.

Xavier ⭐
This is bad. Not ‘end of everything as we know it’ bad, but definitely ‘an obscene amount of paperwork’ bad.
You clutch one of your pistols to your chest— deep breath— and you listen carefully, your head leant back against the rock you’re using as cover. Your mind latches on to every sound: each growl, each rumble of earth that marks the movements of the Wanderers that have trapped you here.
You’ve fought worse odds, but then again, you don’t usually have to do it with a broken leg.
Or maybe just sprained? You shift a little, trying to move, and the pain that sears through you settles the debate in an instant. Your teeth sink into the back of your hand to keep you from crying out.
You hope Xavier’s okay. You sent him your co-ordinates minutes ago, and the lack of response has worry gnawing away at the deepest parts of you. You check your hunter’s watch.
Still nothing.
Another deep breath, and you readjust your position as much as you can. Balancing on your good leg, you manage to peer over the top of the rock to get a visual of your surroundings.
There’s four, no— five Wanderers. Stupid no-hunt zone; you’re never not outnumbered.
You can see your second pistol, abandoned in the middle of the clearing where you’d dropped it. There’s flickers of movement, too: further in the woods. More Wanderers. Shit.
You duck behind the rock you’re starting to think might be your new home. Then your watch flickers, broadcasting a map of the area, and there’s the co-ordinates of another hunter, closing in fast.
Something flashes in the clearing, lighting the dark of the forest like a stutter of lightning. Then again. Then again. There’s a blood-curdling roar, and it ends— abrupt— with another flash.
Everything goes silent, save for a familiar voice calling your name.
“Xavier!” you call back.
You peek over the rock to see your partner jogging towards you, dead Wanderers littered behind him. “Are you alright?” he asks, his voice soft as always, but his sword is still dripping blood.
“I’m okay.” You clamber up, using the rock as a seat when the small effort almost breaks you. “You?”
Xavier draws close— his gloved hands on your face, cupping your cheeks. His thumb grazes over a shallow scrape on your brow. “Yeah,” he answers.
“Did you find that weird Wanderer?”
He shakes his head: no. Steps back to check his watch. “It’s probably moved on to a different zone by now.”
“Then we should look for it,” you say, standing up. All of your weight is on one leg.
“Ah,” Xavier ponders, rubbing his neck, “really? I thought we should maybe head back.”
“No need.” And what’s the plan here, exactly? You can’t walk. You definitely can’t fight. Maybe you can wait here while he— no. He’s never going to leave you. “I told you I’m okay.”
“But you’re not.”
“I am,” you assert. You’re determined to convince him and your own, useless body. It’s just a sprain. It is just a sprain. You take a step forwards and stumble, your bad leg crumpling beneath you.
Xavier catches you, strong and solid, and he's holding you like you’re something delicate. He sets you down on the rock again. The pain is making your vision swim.
“You’re hurt,” he reasons gently, even though the truth of it is a knife that’s twisting in your heart. He seems to sense your reluctance: “There’s no shame in admitting that. It happens. Let’s go back.”
“No.”
“Why?”
“Because I’m slowing you down, Xavier!” you gush. Your heart is split open and it has to bleed somewhere. “You have no idea what it’s like… being your partner.”
He’s looking at you with so much guilt and gods, you wish that somewhere was anywhere but his hands. “What do you mean?” he asks on a shaky breath.
“I love working with you.” Soften the blow. “I love being with you, but you don’t need me. You’re this incredible hunter. This figure of legend, of everyone’s stories. You can do so much on your own and I just don’t know how to keep up. I mean, look at me— I can’t.”
You feel sick. Empty. “You shouldn’t have to hang back for me,” you finish limply. “You’re you, Xavier. You can fight like a hundred Wanderers and still come out unscathed.”
The blue of Xavier’s eyes has grown understandably more turbulent, though it settles a little. He seems to relax. “Yeah… about that,” he mumbles hesitantly.
He turns around and your mouth drops. A savage cut drapes like a crimson sash down his back, splitting the white of his uniform. It’s not deep enough to be fatal, but it’s not good, either.
“Wha— Xavier!” you exclaim, trying to surge forwards, but your pain keeps you rooted. “You said you were okay!”
“So did you,” he frowns, bewildered. “Can we get out of—?”
“Yeah, yeah.” You let him take your arm and help you to your feet.
He leads you through the clearing and into the forest, supporting your weight as you hop along beside him. There’s a murmur about how he should carry you, but you’re quick to reassure him he’s doing enough. You’re both hurting; you both just need to survive the short walk out of the no-hunt zone, where a med team can take over.
“You don’t slow me down, you know,” Xavier says quietly, after a minute of silence. “You’re the reason I can keep going.”
You squeeze his arm affectionately, mustering a smile even though you’re nauseous with pain and the idea he’s been dwelling on your speech this whole time. “Well,” you chuckle through gritted teeth, “you’re gonna have to learn how to get by without me.”
“Huh?” He gives you a curious look.
You glance down at your leg. “Zayne’s gonna kill me...”

Zayne ❄
“I’m a doctor.”
You stop what you’re doing to fix Zayne with a questioning stare. “Okay…?”
“I’ve published dozens of research papers. Pioneered new surgical techniques. My work on Evol-based regenerative properties still has lasting implications for my field, and I’ve the accolades to show for it. The Starcatcher Award. The Linde Award, too— I was the youngest ever recipient.”
None of this is news to you, and you can’t help chuckling at this change in your usually-humble physician. You humour him: “The youngest ever recipient, huh?” There’s a crack as you split an egg on the side of the bowl in front of you. “That’s very impressive.”
“Is it?”
Zayne stands from his seat at your kitchen table: you hear the chair draw back. You feel his presence arrive behind you as you continue to stir your soon-to-be cookie dough. “Yeah,” you lilt with a smile.
“Really?” he pushes again, and his arms wrap around you as he bends to speak into your ear. “Because someone seems to think I can’t even recognise a—” he nips at it— “sprained ankle.”
His breath is warm on your neck and you let out a giggle. “Keep speaking to me like that and these cookies are never making it into the oven. Or your stomach.”
The man relents. He releases you, not returning to his seat but opting to lean against the kitchen counter instead. You glance up at him; he stares back, waiting for an actual answer.
“My ankle is fine, Zayne.”
There’s a sigh as he crosses his arms.
“It is,” you insist, even though you did sprain your ankle at work today, it does hurt like hell, and you do just want to sit down. You reach for the flour you’d measured out previously, tipping it into the larger bowl. “If it wasn’t, would I really be here— making you cookies?”
“Yes,” he says plainly.
“You’re delusional.”
“Okay.”
Well, that was a little too easy. Don’t overthink it, and definitely don’t read into the fact that he’s standing there smugly, like he knows something you don’t. You finish stirring the flour into the mixture, then add the last of the ingredients. Just a pinch of salt, and then…
Where did you put the chocolate chips? You glance about yourself but they’re nowhere in sight. “Hey, Zayne? Have you seen the—”
“This cupboard,” he indicates with an upwards nod of his head. His eyes are relentless. “Top shelf.”
Ah. That’s okay. You’ve totally got this. You move beneath the cupboard, opening it and gazing up into the contents. You can see the pack of chocolate chips. You can get up there somehow, right?
“Would you like me to—?” Zayne starts, but you cut him off:
“Nope.” You put your hands on your hips. “Please— if I can climb the back of an alive, awake, and very angry deluge wyrmlord to put a sword through its skull, I think I can make it onto the kitchen counter in one piece. Lemme just…”
Your knee lifts. You make it about a centimetre from the floor before Zayne’s hands are on your waist, grounding you. “Stop,” he instructs, and it's not a tone that allows for any rebuttal. Satisfied by your silence, he brings the chocolate chips down to you.
“Thanks,” you say quietly as they’re placed on the counter.
“You’re welcome."
Sheepishly, you spill a generous amount of chocolate chips into the cookie mixture. Your throat hurts in the way that keeps you from saying anything more. You already feel like an idiot, and your eyes are watering, threatening to make you look like even more of one.
Zayne’s hand appears in front of you, hovering over the bowl. You laugh in understanding: giving the half-empty bag another shake so chocolate chips fall into his palm.
“You… don’t have to explain yourself,” he says as he lifts them to his mouth. His next words are muffled: “But you can tell me anything, my love. I never want you to feel as though you can’t.”
You chuckle again; you can’t help yourself. Look at him: your oh-so-serious doctor, shovelling chocolate into his mouth. He raises an eyebrow at you, his lips still on his palm.
“I know I can tell you anything,” you smile, the ache in your throat receding, however much the rest of you hurts. “I did sprain my ankle. It’s not that I wanted to hide it from you, it’s just—” you stop stirring the mixture— “it’s just that your whole life is taking care of people at the hospital. You should get a break from it. You should get to be Zayne, here… at home. Just Zayne, not Doctor Zayne.”
Zayne’s hazel eyes have taken on a hue of regret. He pushes his glasses further up the bridge of his nose, buying himself a few seconds as he contemplates. “Are you a doctor?” he asks after a moment.
“No?”
“And yet, here you are, taking care of me.” He reaches for the abandoned packet of chocolate chips. “Tell me, does it feel like work to you?”
“Yeah,” you tease, drawing the packet away from his stretching fingers in explanation; you’re both grinning.
“Well, it never feels like work to me. Just Zayne likes taking care of you. And right now? He wants to bundle you up on the sofa and finish these cookies for you.”
You purse your lips: that’s some dubious wording. “Zayne, hell will freeze over before I leave you and this cookie dough unsupervised.”
He shushes you, pulling on the cord of your apron until the bow at your back comes loose. Before you can protest, he’s wearing the apron himself.
“Zayne, I’m not kidding. I know what you’re gonna do. You’re gonna get rid of me, and then you’ll—”
“Shh,” he coos again, whisking you carefully off your feet, because it’s time for a taste of your own medicine. “You’re delusional.”

Rafayel 🔥
“Mmhmm. Mmhmm.”
“Raf, who are you—?”
He holds out a finger to shush you. “Mmhmm.”
You cross your arms impatiently. Who is he even talking to, anyway? His lilac eyes are locked on you as he continues humming away, apparently very invested in whatever the person on the phone is saying; you’ve never seen him go this long without talking.
He narrows his eyes at you. You narrow your eyes right back.
All around you, guests of the exhibition are milling about, all dressed to the nines and minding their business, however much they want the attention of the man in front of you. A few of them linger as they pass him, like they want to say something, like they’re going to say something…
But they don’t.
It’s a wonder that Rafayel stands out in the crowd as much as he does. You’d seamlessly located him, back from your third trip to the bathroom to check on the bandages you’ve managed to conceal beneath this dress. He’s still holding your purse for you, his phone in his other hand, except—
That’s your phone. That’s your phone! “Rafayel!”
He shushes you again. “I understand,” he says solemnly, notably not to you, “thanks for letting me know.” The call is ended. He takes a deep, collected breath, then looks at you. “I knew it!”
“Knew what? Who was that?”
“Zayne.”
“You called Zayne?”
“Like I had a choice!” Rafayel retaliates. It is true; he’s spent the entire evening trying to get you to admit something was wrong, and you had no intention of giving him that pleasure. “You’re supposed to be in the hospital! What kind of idiot breaks out of the hospital?”
The lack of irony in the question almost breaks you. “Umm… you?! Like every other week?!”
He shrugs. “That’s different.”
“Rafayel, I swear, I’m gonna— ah!” you gasp in pain. You’d stepped forwards too quickly— maybe to strangle him, but that’s neither here nor there— and the wound on your side is clearly on his side. It stings like hell: punishing you, and you know the pain is self-inflicted.
Rafayel frowns in concern, maybe even guilt, and that’s why you didn’t tell him. “C’mon, we should go,” he insists gravely.
“It’s fine, Raf. It doesn’t even—”
“Stop lying! You said you wouldn’t hide stuff like this from me. You promised, remember?”
You’re losing track of all the promises you’ve made to the Lemurian, but you do remember that one. Guilt has its teeth in you, too. “I know,” you grumble, “I’m sorry, okay? I just knew—”
“What?”
“That you’d act like this! You’ve been working on this exhibition for months, Raf. Tonight is supposed to be about you. Not me— you. And I want it to stay that way. Everyone’s here to celebrate you and your work, and that’s how it should be. That’s what I want. To support you. To be here for you.”
Your voice has gone timid. You finish meekly: “Can’t you let me do this for you? Please?”
Rafayel’s eyes are wide and still the prettiest things you’ve ever seen, even in a room full of masterpieces you could never afford. They shine with uncertainty, but soften as he smiles, full of fondness and affection. “That’s sweet. But also? Really dumb.”
“Raf—”
“The only— and I mean only— reason I’m here tonight is because you are. I don’t care about what anyone thinks about me or my paintings. Just you. And you can see this?” He gestures around the gallery. “Anytime. My life’s your private exhibition, cutie. Exclusive access, 24/7, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
He steps closer to you: close enough that he can see the tear that’s made it halfway down your cheek. He wipes it away with a chuckle. “Plus,” he adds, “I know you know I’m amazing. You don’t need these old sourpusses to tell you that, do you?”
You laugh tentatively. “No, I don’t.”
Your injury protests as you use the lapels on Rafayel’s blazer to pull him closer; you have to stand on your tiptoes to kiss his cheek. He’s still grinning as he draws away, a light blush on his cheeks, but the sweetness of the moment vanishes as his gaze drifts lower.
“My eyes are up here, Rafayel.”
“Yeah…” he concedes mindlessly, but then he points: “you know you’re like, bleeding, right?”
You glance downwards to where the red of your dress is turning darker. There’s just a small splotch, but it’s growing. Shit. You must have reopened the wound.
“Thomas?” you hear Rafayel call, and then he’s stuffing a silk handkerchief into your hands— helping you apply pressure. “We have to get out of here,” he explains as a figure joins you.
His agent folds his arms; this is not dissimilar to stunts you and Rafayel have pulled before. “Fake blood, guys? Really?” He pinches the bridge of his nose. “You can’t leave, Rafayel. I can just see the headlines tomorrow…”
“Dashing artist selflessly flees exhibition to save devoted bodyguard,” Rafayel concurs with a nod.
Thomas groans. “That’s not what they’re going to—”
“Help me out with this, cutie?”
“Yes, sir,” you mock salute.
A moment later, Rafayel has scooped you up into his arms. Your hero; he gives you a conspiratorial wink before glancing about frantically. “Quickly!” he cries out. “Everyone out of the way, please!”
“For the love of—” Thomas starts.
“Oh, gods!” you shout in agony. “It hurts. It hurts!”
Heads turn. Cameras flash.
Tomorrow morning, half of Linkon will be talking about one of their favourite celebrities and his long-envied bodyguard. A news article will pop-up on her doctor’s phone, and he’ll see the pictures and sigh.

Sylus 🩸
“It’s not too late to back down, sweetie,” Sylus sneers.
“Aw, but you got all dressed up for the occasion.”
Your eyes rake over the outline of the man’s abs, courtesy of the tank top he’s wearing, and it does take the sting out of the fact that he’ll be trying to hit you. He holds his wrapped hands before him, ready to defend, ready to attack. He’ll probably attack, right?
“Last chance,” he growls.
“Is it, though?” This is the third ‘last chance’ you’ve been given in the five minutes you’ve been teetering on combat. You beckon him with a curl of your fingers. “Come on, Sylus. This is getting old.”
He scoffs: “How do you think I feel?”
“Like you’re about to get your ass kicked?”
“Alright, enough.” His hands drop and it feels like you’re back at the academy, about to be scolded for not taking something seriously. Sylus turns his back on you. Moves to the edge of the boxing ring so he can retrieve a stool from outside of it and sit down in a huff. He starts peeling the wraps from his knuckles, and— wait, is he mad? Like, actually mad?
“What’s wrong, Sy?”
He laughs as though you’re missing something dreadfully obvious. Maybe irony.
“Sylus?”
“You really are heartless, sweetie. You know that?”
The words steal your breath away, if only for a moment. Yours is a relationship of pulled punches, but he won’t meet your gaze and that one was real, wasn’t it? He wanted it to sting. “Why—?”
“I could have hurt you,” he snaps, his dishevelled, snowy hair falling to cover his eyes. His discarded wraps slide from his hands, pooling by his feet like blood. “You were going to let me hurt you.”
He looks at you, finally, but it’s not in the way you want. His gaze is cast low, trailing over your body and making you feel every bruise, every closed cut that wants to reopen and every ache, rooted almost to bone. You’d done your best to hide it, even going so far as to press make-up hastily over your purpled skin.
That Wanderer really did a number on you yesterday.
“You should have told me,” Sylus says, since you’ve made it onto the same page. “Honestly, kitten. Why would you—?”
“Because Luke and Kieran told me, okay?”
Oh, they’re going to kill you. It was supposed to be a secret, and here you are, spilling like a fresh wound because you can’t stand the thought of Sylus being upset with you. You step closer, scrambling to dissect what you’ve done right in front of his eyes— holding it out to him: this is why. This is why. “They said you had a rough week. Some deals of yours had fallen through or something. And I’ve been too busy. I haven’t called, I haven’t even texted, and…”
You need him to understand, but the truth is a mess in your hands and how do you even start to explain it to him?
“You wanted to do something for me,” he finishes for you, and you don’t have to explain a thing.
“Yeah…” you confirm, bittersweet and still sad. “You do so much for me, Sylus. I just wanted to do what you wanted, for a change.”
Maybe it’s a round of boxing. Maybe it’s a dozen illicit dealings where he needs you to play enforcer— it doesn’t matter. As long as he’s happy.
“Come here,” he orders gently.
You close the rest of the rift between you, letting him reach for you and pull you closer. His knees have spread so you can slot against him, and his arms circle around you— trapping you— as he nuzzles into the warmth of your stomach.
“I’m sorry I called you heartless,” he speaks into you, his voice muffled as he gives you a chaste kiss. He then cranes his head upwards, resting his chin against you so he can profess more clearly: “I do worry about you, kitten.”
“I know—” your hands move to his head— “I’m sorry too. I shouldn’t have lied to you.”
“Mmm,” he hums in accordance, maybe even forgiveness, and his eyes close as your fingers card through the soft of his hair. “I lied too.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah,” he confesses on a contented sigh. “I didn’t want to spend today… boxing.”
“What do you want to do today, Sy?”
His eyes flicker open and his hands find your hips. “What I really want…” he contemplates, as his thumbs slip under the hem of your shirt to rub circles on your skin, “is to take care of you.”
There are lifetimes of need in his gaze.
“Won’t you let me take care of you, sweetie?”
…
“If he finds the terms so disagreeable, then he’s more than welcome to take his business elsewhere. Although—” Sylus’s voice is cold— “he might find his other options less… amenable than when he saw them last. Less communicative, too. You can tell him I said so.”
He ends the phone call. Smiles. “Sorry about that, sweetie.”
“Are the boys okay?”
The smile widens, even though you can’t see it. “They’re fine.”
Phone set aside, Sylus carries on with the important business Kieran’s call had distracted him from. You’re half asleep, your head in his lap as he brushes your hair: rose-scented and soft from the bath he’d drawn for you, hours ago. Every bandage is fresh and clean. Every ache has been dulled with a lazy massage and more chaste kisses, for good measure.
“Perfect day,” you mumble blissfully.
“Perfect day,” Sylus agrees.

The creak of a heavy pair of boots crossing over the threshold found your ears, though didn’t persuade your neck to twist around and see who had appeared in the doorway.
“Miss?” Bucky’s tone echoed quietly throughout the room as his metal hand continued to clutch the doorhandle he’d just twisted.
But instead of tearing your eyes away from the night sky that twinkled on the other side of the window, you instead continued to sit on the floor, the fancy dress you’d been forced into wrinkling around your legs, as you faintly began to murmur, “you know, I wanted to be an astronaut when I was little…” your eyes traced one of the constellations gleaming above, “it wasn’t because I had some fascination with space, but it was the one thing I could imagine that would take me as far away from here as possible…” a breath escaped you before your vision finally floated back down to earth and you glanced over your shoulder, “would you mind closing the door? It’s so loud out there…”
As you reunited your gaze to the world outside and you heard the door shut behind you, the mobster then carefully asked, “are you alright?”
“Don’t,” a sharp breath filled your lungs as you shook your head and your eyes instantly squeezed shut, “don’t do that… don’t act like you care just because my father pays you. I know you’re no better than all of the others out there…”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he tried to conceal his painful awareness of your situation.
“I know what the others say behind my back,” you uttered, your mind haunted by their voices, playing the comments on a loop till they turned into boiling tar, “poor Y/n, weak and broken Y/n who is crazy and could never really be a part of this family… but unfortunately for everyone, I am,” you breathed, memories of your adolescence flooded your system, how they had sent you away to a broken institution at the smallest sign of vulnerability, “so I could never just leave. I couldn’t go out and earn my own money, they would cut off any attempt I made of getting a job in this city,” you pointed out their power, “and if I tried to get away, move to somewhere else, then they would have to take care of that as well because they can’t have a liability just out there. They own me, and they’ve made sure that I am nothing without them, and with them, I’d never be able to accomplish a goddamn thing. They wouldn’t hesitate to cut my life short if I ever stepped out of line again, you know that, it happened to my aunt… for all I know, it’ll probably happen as soon as my brother takes over, it is after all what everyone has surely wished for since the day I was born…”
As those last few venting words escaped your lips, a sinking feeling bloomed in your stomach as you realised those shattering truths hadn’t been contained in your thoughts alone.
“Oh shit…” tears began to blur your vision as you spun around and jaggedly rose to your feet, “please don’t tell anyone about any of that,” you took a panicked step forward, “I–… I didn’t mean any of it, it’s not–…” your chest rose and fell rapidly as you stared back at the gangster, “what do you want?” you attempted desperately, “do you want money? I could talk to my father and give you another leg up? I’ll give you whatever you want, just please don’t tell anyone, I–…”
An idea then struck through your terrified blubbering, and without giving it another thought, you dropped down to your knees before him.
“What are you doing?” he finally spoke, blinking down at you by his feet.
Wiping your cheek as a steady flow of tears rolled down them, you then reached out for Bucky’s belt and sniffled, “you can have me, if that’s what could buy your silence.”
But instead, your father’s right-hand man grabbed your hands, “stop,” he pleaded, “just stop.”
Blinking up into his eyes, your hazy vision then drifted down to his fingers enveloping your wrists before you gloomily concluded, “…right…of course… I get it,” your head bowed even further as you uttered, “why would you think of me any differently… of course, you wouldn’t want me to touch you, you probably think I’m cursed just like the rest of them do…”
But instead of ripping his touch away from your skin as if it was a scorching flame, Bucky’s frame suddenly lowered to be at your level, kneeling by you before he lifted one of your palms up to cup his stubbly cheek.
“I don’t,” a faint shake found his head, “never have,” you found yourself floating away into the ocean of his eyes as he stared back at you, his slow breath fanning across your wet cheeks at the close proximity, “I won’t tell anyone what you said,” he promised, his deep voice nearly at a whisper, “you have my word.”
But as you were filled with equal amounts of uncertainty, as well as shock, footsteps on the other side of the door found you both and tore you apart, just before the door ripped open and in strolled the boss himself.
“Barnes!” your father’s glare landed on the mobster first before it shifted to find you, hastily wiping your cheeks, “oh great, you found her,” he uttered impatiently, “darling, come, it’s time for your brother to cut the cake. You need to be there,” he swiftly waved a hand for you to shadow him.
The storm of the party made you feel as if you could come undone and burst into tears at any moment, pushing and shoving your shaky soul till you felt like just a tiny speck of dust floating around in the air. Keeping your gaze on the floor as you pushed through the bustling crowds, it stayed there as your sibling sank a shiny blade into the ridiculously elaborate cake that was rolled out for everyone to applaud.
Raw and bleeding while the others drank and laughed, your vision finally found enough courage to flicker up, though only to find those same blue eyes, across the room and locked upon you.
When the music soon was cranked up high and people swarmed to the middle of the floor in pairs, you briefly spotted one of your brother’s friends, a guy not too far from your own age, march straight towards you with an air of confidence that couldn’t help but relax your tense shoulders as you were slowly filled with hope.
But as he neared and a greeting fell from your lips, a confused look muddled up his features as he shot you a glance before grabbing the waiting hand of a girl standing in the crowd behind you.
Amused snickers and cruel comments found your ears even though you knew their tones attempted to be silent.
“What a freak.”
“Could you imagine if it had actually been her he’d wanted to dance with? In her dreams.”
“She should just run back to that insane asylum she somehow escaped from.”
With your back soon pressed up against one of the perimeter walls, a shadow then came to darken the spot on the floor your reddened eyes were glued to.
“You wanna dance?” you glanced up with a wide pair of eyes to spot Bucky settled in beside you.
“Why?” your brows knit together, “so that everyone can have another thing to laugh about?”
Holding out his palm, he then let out a sigh, “just take my hand,” and the next thing you knew, your fingers were tangled in his own.
Once he’d led you out onto the floor, your eyes darting around to all the bewildered glances that shot your way, a sudden breath then filled your lungs as his wide palm slid over your waist and dragged you in closer to his frame, causing your vision to cease their torture and meet his own steady gaze instead.
The sway was slow and intimate, though you weren’t sure if the sensation terrified or calmed you, as the intoxicating way he made you feel had previously been something you’d packed far away as just an inconsequential crush back when he’d first started working for your father. Though as he held you in his arms and showed you a rare display of compassion, how could your heart not begin to thump once more?
With your gaze hazily cast over his shoulder as you danced so near that your cheeks almost touched, the warmth of his hand then slid down to your lower back before he whispered in your ear, “I know it won’t fix anything, but if it was up to me, you’d be the one inheriting this whole business, not your brother,” he uttered sincerely under his breath, “he’s a hot-headed idiot, while you are stronger and more brilliant than all of these fools combined.”

MASTERLIST
You’re breathing is still irregular. Your back is pressed against the silky sheets of Rafe’s bed, sweat drying on your skin, lips swollen from the way he kissed you like he was trying to erase someone else from his mouth. His scent clings to your body—earthy cologne and the heady musk of sex.
He’s sitting on the edge of the bed, elbows on his knees, shirtless, head bowed. Your voice cuts the silence. “Is this what you do when she’s not around?” He doesn’t answer. Of course he doesn’t. Because there is no right answer to that question. You sit up slowly, the sheet slipping down your chest, revealing the bruises he left along your collarbone.
You don’t cover yourself. You want him to look. You want him to see what he did. What he always does. You watch the tension coil through his shoulders, the way his jaw ticks like a ticking bomb. “Sneak away to fuck me and then crawl back to her like you didn’t just ruin me?” Still, nothing.
You let out a dry laugh and shake your head. “God, Rafe. You’re pathetic.” That gets his attention. His head whips around, and the burn in his eyes hits you like a slap. “Don’t fucking start.” “I’m not starting,” you bite back, yanking the sheet tighter around your body. “I’m just wondering how long you plan to play this pathetic little charade. Acting like she’s enough for you when we both know she’s not.”
He stands up now, slow and deliberate, his eyes narrowing. “Don’t do that.” “Do what? Tell the truth?” You rise too, throwing on the silk robe you left hanging from the doorknob two nights ago—the last time he brought you here. “She doesn’t get it, Rafe. She never will. She still sees you as the golden boy. The tortured rich kid she can fix. But I know better.”
His voice is low, venomous. “You think that makes you better?” You scoff, stepping closer, your tone sharpening. “I am better. She’s a pogue, Rafe. You think she can survive your world? The real one? Generational expectations and all that fucking rot in your bloodline? You think she’d still love you if she saw what I see?”
He doesn’t move, but something behind his eyes snaps. A flash of something between shame and fury.“She’s just your distraction. Your safe little fantasy,” you whisper, standing toe to toe now, your voice trembling with bitterness.
“But I’m the one who takes the hits when you spiral. I’m the one you call when you’re wrecked and drunk and clawing at your own skin.” You see it—right there in his face. That flicker of guilt. Or rage. Or both. He’s trying to hold it in, but you know exactly where to dig. “Say it, Rafe,” you challenge, eyes shining. “Say she means more to you than I do.”
And that’s when he breaks. “You think you’re so fucking above her, don’t you?” he barks, stepping into your space like it’s a threat. “Because your daddy owns half the island and you’ve had everything handed to you.” Your chest tightens. “That’s not what this is about—” “Yes, it fucking is!” he shouts.
“You look at her like she’s trash. Like she doesn’t belong in the same room as you.” “She doesn’t!” you snap. “And neither do you when you’re with her.” That does it. He slams his hand against the dresser, making the perfume bottles jump and rattle. “You walk around like you’re untouchable,” he growls.
“Like you’re the only one who knows me. Like she doesn’t matter because she didn’t grow up sipping champagne by the club pool or driving her daddy’s Range Rover to school.” You stare at him, breath trembling, voice barely above a whisper. “Because I do know you.” His face twists.“You think you’re some saviour?” he spits.
“You think just because we’ve been doing this shit since we were fifteen, I owe you something? That this—” he gestures between you, “—makes you better than her? You’re not. You’re just another girl who lets me use her.” Your expression shatters. It’s not even anger anymore—it’s betrayal, heartbreak, disgust.
Your throat burns, but you swallow it down. You shake your head, blinking away the sting. “Wow,” you whisper. “You actually believe that?” He doesn’t answer. You grab your clothes, heart hammering in your chest. “I hope she never sees this version of you,” you say, quietly, venomously.
“Because if she does, she’ll finally understand why you don’t deserve her either.” You walk toward the door. “Wait.” You stop. Hand frozen on the doorknob. He’s standing there, shirt still off, eyes stormy and wild. His voice is hoarse, breathless. Like regret is burning a hole in his chest. “I love you.”
You close your eyes like the words hurt. “Don’t say that,” you whisper. “I mean it,” he insists. “I fucking love you.” You turn slowly, face wet with tears you didn’t even feel fall. “Then why are you still with her?” you whisper. His face crumples. He opens his mouth. But nothing comes out.
That’s the thing with Rafe Cameron—he’s always almost enough. Almost honest Almost yours. And still, never quite. You shake your head, letting out a quiet, heartbroken laugh. “I hope one day she sees through you,” you say, “and runs before you ruin her too.”
Then you’re gone. Door slamming behind you. And for the first time in a long time, Rafe doesn’t chase you. He sinks to the floor like he’s been shot. Fists clenched. Lips trembling. Regret clouding his mind, but too late. Too fucking late.

𝐃𝐀𝐃'𝐒 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐎𝐉𝐎.

—a/n: this is part 1. i am slowly testing out the idea since i am getting back into writing. you're free to tell me your thoughts on this in the reblogs or comments and if you want me go through and write part 2 smut.
part 2 is here yay

dad's bestfriend satoru who is hitting on you in such a subtle manner that it goes unnoticed by your family. they have so much faith in him since he's now a family friend. you've been away for college and only managed to show up on special family dinners so you didn't know he became so involved and special while you were gone.
you didn't miss the soft yet flirtatious gaze he gave you in between conversations at the dinner table. the spoon dangling between his lips for a few seconds more than they were supposed too. his finger swiping against the cream on top of the tiramisu and his tongue darting out to clean it off. it made you mouth dry even when you were sipping on the wine the whole time.
you didn't miss the "accidental" nudge of his shoulder against yours as you both bumped into each other on the way to the washroom. or when his pinky brushed against yours to steal away your embarrassing polaroids from college to see which were only reserved for your parents.
it was infuriating. hot, but infuriating. because how come no one else was seeing this? it was painfully obvious. your dad, kento, should've punched him by now. but he didn't because obviously, satoru was just being nice. so you decided on taking the matter in your own hands.
"i am gonna need you to stop," your voice stern as you confronted him. you had pulled him upstairs in the corner to avoid the embarrassment in front of everyone just in case you were wrong.
"stop what?" he looked genuinely confused but you were sure, just for a second, you saw an evil grin plastering his face.
"with all that "i want to fuck you" eyes you've been giving me the whole evening." you wait for his reply. one second passed. three seconds passed. ten seconds passed. none. there's nothing but a dark expression on his face that you don't know it roots from where. and before you could, he moves towards you forcing you to pace backwards.
step.
step.
step.
ste—shit. your back hits the wall. his hand slowly climbs up, and you gulp. you have no idea what's going to happen next but that's what is pooling your panties more. he ghosts his knuckles against collarbone, never contacting the skin but it still doesn't fail to make a shiver run down your spine. you almost beg him to touch you until he speaks.
"and what makes you think i want to fuck you, sweetheart?" he asks. his voice dark and thick. which makes you question every single moral, every single boundary of yours. you want to answer but you can't. all the words are choked up in your throat, refusing to come out. you look at him with doe eyes, that makes his dick tent against his pant. you're about to do something questionable—
"gojo-san," but the voice of your mother calling out for him from downstairs startles you. gojo sighs, almost in regret.
"go to you room," he checks around to see if anyone caught you two.
"but—"
"y/n, go to your room and lock. the. damn. door. understood?" he orders and there is no way you cam refuse him.
but why did he tell you to lock the door? more importantly, why is it making you want to keep it unlocked even more?

You dont have to answer it. Im just kind of venting because nobody understands or listens to what im saying.
You mentioned financial abuse and women not being allowed bank accounts even though they could work. Every time someone brings this up it feels so similar to my own situation it pisses me off.
I'm a minor. I *do* have a bank account but i can only use it in a physical store and not online or anything because my darling mother thinks it's unnecessary. She says that i can just ask one of them to buy things for me. Even tho there have been times where i have to call her a million times to just buy me a train ticket to get me home. She asks if i have secrets if i want to use my money so much.
It's not about that. It's not about trust, it's not about secrets. It's about independence. Bitch, i will become an adult soon enough, will you stoll treat me the same way? It's about her trust in me. I am a prisoner as it is why does she have to rub it in. I know i'm not a person until i'm 18 i KNOW but like. I'm only living off of permissions and allowances. I can't fucking donate to palestinians because "there is no reason for that" and then i ask her to do and she says she will but DOESN'T. I couldn't buy a bknder i had to have someone else do it.
Oh, let me be clear, you ARE a person NOW. That is incredibly unfair.
If you are old enough and responsible enough to work and earn a paycheck, you’re old enough to spend your money.
I used to fight CONSTANTLY for this sort of thing. Adult responsibilities, child privileges. Do the labour, reap none of the benefits. FUCK that.
And, frankly, you ARE going to make a few dumb financial decisions at some point in your life. The IDEA is that you do it while you’re young and have your family as a safety net in case it’s too big or you fuck up TOO bad and need help- no school lunch money cause you bought games? You won’t go hungry, but you WILL pack a sandwich from home. Baby steps.
Or, what, you’re supposed to go from zero to 100 the day you move out? How the HELL are you going to just *spontaneously develop* the ability to balance a check book, budget, save, prioritize your expenses?
You absolutely have the right of it, one hundred percent. There will come a time when your mother has to let go, but what you are describing is ABSOLUTELY financial abuse and is her way of exercising control over you and denying you privacy.
I do have to ask though, how does your workplace pay you out? Is it possible to request a partial payment in cash? That way, you can have a little on hand in case you need it.
Also… I’m not sure where you live, but if you can, consider maybe stopping by that bank at some point and book in a consult with an advisor. Ask if there’s any way of locking your mother out or getting online banking together for yourself. If she’s the one handling your finances and giving you no access, I wouldn’t trust what she says in regards to what you can do without her.
And if it comes up… this isn’t just a matter of trust, it’s a matter of respect. Or, what, they think you’re stupid? They think you’re a secret drug dealer handling dirty money? What? What POSSIBLE reason could they have for keeping you from spending your own money, unless they think you’re a dumb irresponsible kid, and if that’s the truth, why let you have a job at all? Why not lock you in a tower for the rest of your life? Why let you go to school, if they’re going to be caring for you like a sickly Victorian waif forever? Or do they think you’re so fragile that making a mistake will cause you to crumble forever, like you’re not smart or determined or tough enough to survive a few monetary hiccups in life?
Sorry, Jesus, I’m angry on your behalf. My parents sucked sometimes but financial independence wasn’t something they fucked around with, that’s some feudal lord ass shit right there

the fight wasn’t even about anything serious. maybe that’s what pissed you off the most. just a few careless words thrown back and forth. a sarcastic comment. a defensive look. something that snowballed too fast. you’d rolled your eyes, muttered something under your breath, and before you knew it, you were storming off, heart pounding too hard for how stupid it all was. matt followed you, of course he did.
“can you stop walking away from me?” he called out, voice low but firm.
you didn’t answer. just pushed the back door open and stepped into the yard, letting the night air cool the heat in your cheeks. it was quiet outside—just the low hum of the city a few blocks off, the chirp of crickets, the gentle rustle of leaves. the bench near the edge of the yard was cold beneath you when you sat down, arms crossed tight, eyes on the ground. then the door creaked again. he stepped out. you didn’t look at him. not at first. he didn’t say anything either. just walked over and sat beside you on the bench, not too close. not too far. just enough for you to feel the weight of his presence, familiar and frustrating and safe all at once.
“i didn’t mean to piss you off,” he said eventually. “i just… i don’t know. you seemed off lately.”
“and you thought pushing my buttons would help?” you muttered.
he sighed, rubbed the back of his neck. “no. i thought being your friend meant i could say dumb shit sometimes without you walking out.”
that one hit deeper than you wanted it to. because he wasn’t wrong. and maybe you weren’t just mad at him. maybe you were mad at yourself. or everything. or the way your heart had been feeling so loud around him lately and you didn’t know what to do about it. you pulled a lighter from your pocket, flicked it open, and lit the blunt you’d tucked behind your ear earlier. took a drag, slow and quiet. the smoke filled your lungs, settled in your chest.
matt watched you, eyes soft now. no more irritation. just… something else. something gentler. like he could feel that this wasn’t really about the argument anymore. you passed the blunt to him without a word. he took it. inhaled. held. exhaled. silence again. but this one didn’t sting. it just… lingered.
and then somehow, without really thinking about it, you ended up leaning into him. shoulder to shoulder. thigh to thigh. the kind of closeness that used to feel normal, until your body started reacting differently every time he touched you. you don’t know who moved first. maybe it was you. maybe it was him. maybe it was both of you, drawn into each other like gravity. but you ended up beneath him on that old wooden bench, his body hovering over yours, supported on his forearms, his face inches from yours.
“this is a bad idea,” you whispered.
“probably,” he whispered back.
but neither of you moved. his thigh slipped between yours naturally, his knee brushing up against the heat of your center, the rough denim of his jeans dragging against you as your breath caught in your throat. matt’s eyes darkened.
“fuck,” he murmured, voice low, like he wasn’t even saying it to you. “you’re not wearing—”
“i am. shorts. just… thin ones,” you breathed, hands gripping his shirt.
you didn’t mean for your hips to move. they just did. just a soft grind. testing. craving. and the friction—god, it was too much. too sharp. too good. the pressure of his thigh against your aching center sent a jolt up your spine and had your lips parting with a tiny, broken sound. he heard it. felt it. his lips found your neck, slow and warm and dangerous, kissing down to the place just beneath your jaw that always made you shiver. and when his thigh flexed slightly, pushing up into you with just a little more pressure, u whimpered. actual whimpered, clutching at the fabric of his shirt like you might float away otherwise.
“jesus,” he muttered, pulling back just enough to look at you. “you’re sensitive.”
you nodded helplessly, biting your lip, grinding again. his hands slipped under your hoodie, fingers splayed across your waist. his touch wasn’t rushed. wasn’t frantic. just slow and hot and careful. like he was memorizing every part of you. you moaned—quiet, needy—and it caught in your throat, tangled in the tension of your lungs.
then his thigh pressed up again, and your hips moved down to meet it like your body was making choices without your brain. the pleasure was too sharp. too consuming. like fire lapping at your nerves. you were trying to stay quiet. really, you were. but when he started kissing your neck again, slow and open-mouthed, his breath hot and mouth wet, you lost it. your back arched. your lips parted.
“i-i’m gonna— fuck—i’m gonna c—” you gasped, eyes fluttering shut.
but then he pulled his thigh away.
“matt—!” you cried, hips chasing the pressure desperately, already throbbing from how close you were.
his hands grip your waist, holding you in place. his lips curved into a smirk as he leaned down, eyes watching your trembling form.
“not yet,” he murmured, voice rough, strained. “not yet, sweetheart.”
you whimpered, hands fisting the fabric of his shirt.
“why’re you so sensitive?” he asked, voice a little gentler now. teasing, but not mean. “m’ just kissing your neck and you’re practically dripping cum already…”
“been a while…” you admitted, voice small. barely there.
he paused. then exhaled slowly. something changed in his face—his teasing smirk melted into surprise… and something else. something warmer. pride, maybe. or possession. like the thought of you falling apart under him after so long made something primal in him snap.
“oh, sweetheart…”
his hand slipped up to cup your cheek, thumb brushing over your flushed skin. “been holding it all in, huh?”
“just—please,” you begged softly, hips rocking. “please, matt… just keep going.”
his breath caught at the way your voice broke. and he gave you what you needed. his thigh slid back between yours, and you sighed like it was air after drowning. your hips moved on their own, grinding down harder, needier, chasing that edge again. your fingers tangled in his hair, pulling, gripping, desperate to feel everything.
matt groaned softly. “that’s it, baby. just like that. keep goin’.”
he watched you with awe—like he couldn’t believe this was happening. you were moaning again, louder than before, hips stuttering. your eyes squeezed shut as your body trembled beneath him. his hands gripped your waist tighter, trying to keep you steady.
“m’ gonna cum—fuck—” you gasped.
and you did. it ripped through you like lightning, sharp and fast. your back arched off the bench, fingers digging into his shoulders, loud moans spilling from your lips before you could stop them. matt’s eyes widened.
“shhh, shh…” he said quickly, his hand coming up to your mouth. “you’re too loud, baby…”
you whimpered into his palm, body shaking, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes from how intense it all felt. and still, your hips kept moving, like you couldn’t stop. like your body hadn’t gotten the memo.
“gotta be quiet f’me, yeah?” he whispered, watching you with blown pupils. “don’t want any of your neighbors hearing you… such a needy n’ desperate mess…”
you tried to speak, but all you could get out was a strangled sound against his hand.
“i-i can’t—matt—shit… you n-need to—fuck—you need to stop…” you whimpered, even as your hips refused to stop grinding.
he let out a soft laugh, voice full of warmth and need.
“i don’t think you want me to stop” he whispered, mouth close to your ear. “look at you. still grinding against my thigh. such a needy fuckin’ pussy…”
“i can’t!” you cried, eyes full of tears now, face buried in his shirt. your hips were still moving. you couldn’t stop.
he hushed you gently, his hand still over your mouth. “shh… gotta be quiet, aight?”
you nodded weakly. you didn’t trust your voice. his eyes locked with yours, soft and dark and shining with something you couldn’t name. when you nodded again, he finally lifted his hand off your mouth.
“yeah? you’re gonna be a good girl and stay quiet?”
“yes,” you breathed. but your hips wiggled away from his thigh. just for a second. just for a small break.
his hands slid back to your waist, holding you firm. “no no, it’s okay, sweetheart… ride my thigh just like that, okay?”
“matt i can’t—” you whimpered, body trembling.
“yes you can…” he said softly, guiding your hips. “come on. been so good. you got it, angel.”
you hesitated for a second, but eventually, your body and the need still flooding your system made you give in. your moans were quieter now, but still choked, still needy. you were getting close again, too fast, everything overstimulated and raw, your body burning at every nerve. his eyes never left you.
he could feel it building in you. could see it.
“mhm…just a little more, mama… you look so fuckin’ perfect like this…”
“m-matt i cant—i cant take anymore… please i—fuck…”
your voice broke as you buried your face in his chest, sobbing into his shirt. he groaned at the sound, the feel of your tears, your desperate body. he held you tighter.
“shh, it’s okay… just one more, sweetheart. can you do one more for me?”
you whimpered into his shirt. and then… you nodded. your hips kept moving, grinding down with shaking, unsteady rhythm. and then—it hit you. harder than the first. your body bowed, your fingers dug into his shoulders, your legs clenched around his waist. you screamed his name, too loud, too raw, and that was it.
matt groaned deeply, low in his throat, like the sound of you coming for him again finally broke him. he rocked forward slightly, his hips grinding down as his breath stuttered—and then he gasped, loud and sudden, eyes fluttering shut as he came in his boxers, body tense and shaking from the way you sounded, the way you felt, the way you looked under him, fucked-out and shaking.
“ohhh fuck…” he breathed, forehead pressed to yours, both of you panting.
his arms wrapped around you tightly.
“you okay?” he whispered after a long moment.
you nodded slowly, still catching your breath.
“you?”
he chuckled softly. “i think i just came in my fuckin’ pants. so… yeah. i’m good.”
you both laughed, breathless and dazed and kind of ruined in the best way.
“we should… probably go back inside,” you murmured.
“probably,” he said. but he didn’t move.
neither did you.

family help
pairing: carmy berzatto x fem!reader (requested by: @kpopgirlbtssvt)
summary: when Carmy goes to propose, everyone at the bear pitches in to make it a special night
warnings: none!
words: 1k
a/n: ahh, my first time posting writing in quite a long time! definitely nervous, but I loved writing for Carmy, especially since it's 4 days until season 4! anyway, I hope you enjoy!
oOoOo
Carmy felt as though he could throw up. Granted, being in the middle of opening a restaurant on a six month-timeline made him want to throw up often, but especially in this moment. He looked around the room at all the people who cared about him. Richie and Fak arguing about where to put the flowers. Tina and Syd bringing out the food. And Sugar keeping a watchful eye on everything.
In that moment, Carmy reached into his pocket, feeling around for the small box. It had become his nervous tick over the past few weeks. Making sure the ring - your ring - was still there. It felt heavy in Carmy's hand, and he couldn't resist taking one more peak at the ring. Hopefully, the last time he would like at it before it found its new home on your finger.
It was Tina who snapped Carmy out of his thoughts. "Let me see the ring again, Jeff." she smiled."
Though he had already shown her the ring, Carmy obliged and angled the box towards Tina. "Now, I just have to pray she says yes."
"Nah, I know she's gonna say yes. You two are strong."
"Thanks, T."
A few hours later, you pushed open the door to The Bear, looking around. "Carmy?" you called out when you didn't see any of the normal bustle for this time at the restaurant.
Walking further into the space, you gasped when you saw a candlelit table framed by your favorite flowers. The door to the kitchen opened softly off to the side, and you turned and saw Carmy.
"Uh, hi." he smiled, running his hand through his hair for what looked like the nth time.
"Hi." you echoed, heart warming at the sight. "So, what's all this? Doesn't look like family to me."
"Right, you're, uh, you're right." he spoke slowly, taking a few steps towards you. "But, I, uh, did have some help."
You took a moment to take a closer look at the table. Not only were your favorite type of flowers, but also all your favorite foods. You smiled softly and turned towards your boyfriend. "What is going on?" you giggled. "It isn't our anniversary. It's not my birthday. It's not your birthday. So, what am I missing?"
"Do I need an excuse to treat my girl to a nice dinner?" he asked, pretending to be wounded by your words.
But Carmy pushed forward and pulled a chair out for you. He gestured for you to take a sit, pushing it back in as you sat. After a quick run to the kitchen, he brought out the main course and took the seat across from you.
The two of you ate, laughed, and caught up. Though you saw him every day, opening The Bear had taken a lot out of him. It was nice to just be with each other. No stress, no menus, nothing.
Eventually, Carmy reached out to grab your hand in his calloused run, rubbing his thumb over the back of your hand. He gave you his signature, nervous grin, his curls falling in front of his eyes. "Hey, you, um, you look really beautiful tonight."
There was no way to stop your face from heating up at his words.
"And I hope you know how much I love you." Carmy continued.
"I know." you whispered, squeezing his hand.
"I'm glad." he took a deep breath. "I know this shit with the restaurant has been crazy recently. And I know I haven't been there as much as I should be." he rushed on so you wouldn't interrupt. "But you're on my mind every second of the day. Even when I should be worried about the menu, or plates, or literally anything else, I'm thinking of you.
"It's been that way since our first date. And I have no doubt it's going to stay that way. I want to be by your side for everything that comes next. Restaurant or not. You're my rock, babe. I don't know what I would fucking do without you." he chuckled.
He reached into his jacket and grabbed a small box before shifting to one knee. Your heart was practically in your throat as you watched the scene unfold before you. It was impossible to stop the tears that welled in your eyes.
"Carmy-"
"Just wait, please? Let me get this out." he paused, only continuing when you nodded. "There's a lot I'm not sure about in my life, but the one thing I'm damn sure about is you. So, y/n, will you marry me?"
There was no need to take time to think over your answer or to worry about being eloquent. "Yes! Yes, I'll marry you, Carmen Berzatto."
"Fuck, really?" Carmy asked, feeling emotional himself, as if he hadn't expected you to actually agree.
When you repeated your response, he fumbled with the ring, almost dropping it. But he managed to keep hold of it and gentle slid it onto your left ring finger. He took a moment to admire the way it looked there, praying he would never see it off. Looking up at you, he smiled, knowing he was the luckiest man ever.
"I love you." you whispered, pulling Carmy up so you could finally hold him.
"And I love you."
As the two of you leaned into kiss, you yelped in surprise when there was a barrage of cheering and yelling that came from the kitchen. Whipping your head in that direction, your head falling against Carmy's shoulder, laughing as you saw your friends - your family - pour into the dining room.
"I told you I had help." Carmy whispered in your ear, chuckling himself.
It didn't take long for the two of you to became separated as Sydney and Sugar gushed over your ring and Richie and Fak were clapping Carmy on the back. Despite the chaos, it was perfect, and you paused to savor the moment. Carmy managed a glance at you over his shoulder and winked. Yeah, you knew everything would be alright.

AT THE SAME DAMN TIME, chap one, chap two, chap three, chap four, chap five.
synopsis; After a messy, short-lived situationship with Stack—reckless, flirtatious, and all the wrong kinds of possessive—you swear you’re done with hood boys who can’t keep up. But when you drop something off at his mother’s store and find both Stack and his older twin brother Smoke inside, something shifts.

THERE WAS SOMETHING about Smoke’s silence that said everything louder than words. Not the kind of silence that made you second-guess things—but the kind that filled in blanks, settled the air around you, made you feel chosen without having to be convinced. It showed up in the way he leaned closer when you talked, how he texted “I’ll be there in five” instead of “what you doing tonight?”, how he knew your hair length when you walked through the door and noticed when you switched oils without saying it.
And that silence? It had been wrapped around your days lately. Every week, it deepened. The first time you went to his place, it wasn’t even supposed to be anything. Just a quick stop after he offered to “blend that new coconut oil mix for you since his hands were better with it.”
His house was clean but lived-in. Smelled like tobacco, cologne, and citrus cleaner. Records lined the shelf. A few jazz LPs leaned against the wall. He didn’t talk much—but he looked at you like he wanted to remember what you looked like sitting on his couch. Like he didn’t want to forget the way you hummed while scrolling your phone with your legs tucked up, comfortable like you’d been there before.
You’d gone back twice after that. The second time, you stayed late. Too late. He offered to let you crash, but you didn’t. You wanted to—but that felt like a next step. Something that meant more. So when he texted two days later and said:
“You tryna let me take you somewhere? For real?” You didn’t hesitate. You said yes. You wore a soft brown two-piece dress that hugged your waist, with gold hoops and a gloss that caught every bit of dim restaurant lighting. Smoke met you at the door of the restaurant in all black—button-down shirt rolled up to the elbows, chain around his neck, his watch catching the light when he placed a hand on your lower back and guided you inside.
“Damn,” he muttered, looking you up and down. “That how you look when you try?” “Don’t start,” you smirked. He didn’t say anything else. Just pulled out your chair. And sat across from you like he was settling in for something serious. But halfway through ordering drinks, your smile dropped just a little. Because there they were.
Stack and Mary.
Two booths over. Close enough to hear your laughter. Close enough to see Smoke’s hand graze yours when he laughed back. Stack’s jaw tightened the second he saw you. His body leaned forward, like he was trying to decide whether to pretend you didn’t exist—or walk over and ruin everything.
Mary noticed too. She was mid-sentence when her eyes followed Stack’s stare and caught sight of you. “Ignore them,” Smoke murmured, low. “They ain’t relevant tonight.” You swallowed your irritation, relaxed your shoulders.
“You right.”
“Let me ask you somethin’,” Smoke said, voice deep and calm. “What’s your goals with this? With us?” You blinked. “Like… relationship-wise?” He nodded. “I don’t like half-assin’ shit. I like you. I like talkin’ to you. I like bein’ around you. But before I get deeper in this, I need to know—do you want somethin’ real? Or am I just helpin’ you forget somebody?”
Your lips parted, surprised at how direct he was. Then, you answered without thinking. “Yes. I want somethin’ real with you.” Something changed in his posture—his shoulders eased, but his stare sharpened. He lifted a hand to flag the server and said, “Two drinks. And bring the appetizers.”
You both ordered food—steak for him, grilled chicken pasta for you—and over the meal, the conversation deepened. He told you about growing up quiet under Stack’s loud shadow, how people always assumed he didn’t want attention just because he didn’t chase it.
You told him about your childhood, how your mama taught you how to braid to keep you out of trouble, how your last relationship made you feel small. “You don’t seem small to me,” Smoke said, sipping his drink slow. “You take up space. You just been around men that tried to shrink you.”
You bit your lip. “And you different?”
“I see you. That’s the difference.”
As the drinks disappeared, the flirting thickened—smiles dragged slower, eyes lingered longer. You laughed with your hand over your mouth and he touched your knee when you teased him about being lowkey sensitive.
He drove you home in his car. The radio low. His hand never left your thigh. Not once. When he parked in front of your house, he walked you up to the porch. You turned to say goodnight, but before you could finish, he leaned in. And kissed you. Not soft either. Not tentative.
His lips captured yours like he’d been waiting weeks. His tongue slid over yours slow, sure, like he needed to feel how you tasted. You grabbed his shirt. He cupped your face. Your breath hitched, chest rising.
It almost escalated. Almost. But you both pulled back. Barely.
Your heart thudded. His eyes were still on your mouth. “Night, mama,” he whispered. “Night,” you murmured, stepping inside. That morning when you woke up you received a text,
Smoke: “Had a good time last night. Let me take you out again.”
You: “Say less.”
You texted all day. Memes. Voice notes. Music. Talked about everything and nothing. He sent a pic of his lunch. You sent one of you in bed with your bonnet on. He said you were still fine. By the end of the day, you had to run an errand—let Mrs Moore wash your hair, since she had gotten new stock from your favorite hair care brands.
You showed up that afternoon. And the second you walked in, you felt it. Smoke was there by the register, bottle of water in hand. But so was Stack. Leaning back in the chair, face already mean. Mugging you the second your foot crossed the threshold.
You didn’t flinch.
Smoke came up behind you and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead like it was nothing. Like he’d done it a hundred times before. “You good?” he asked low. “Better now.” Stack’s stare burned the back of your neck. You acted like you didn’t notice.
As you waited for Ms. Moore, Smoke stayed near—talking with you about haircare, new blends, laughing low when you mentioned switching to a new curl custard. “Let me know how it feel after a week,” he said. “If it don’t hold, I’ll make you somethin’ better.”
“What, you tryna be my personal hair plug now?”
“I’m already more than that.”
Ms. Moore finally came out and washed your hair herself, fingers gentle, warm water running down your scalp like therapy. Afterward, as you dried off and thanked her, you turned to leave and felt Smoke’s hand gently press against your lower back.
He walked you out. And at your car?
He hugged you. Kissed you.
This time, it was slower. More private. His fingers gripped your waist. Your nails dug lightly into his wrist. You were melting into it when—You felt it. Eyes. Both of you turned slightly. And there he was. Stack.
Staring from the front window like he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Like his name wasn’t the one you stopped saying weeks ago. You didn’t look away. You just got in your car. And Smoke? Smoke stayed standing there. Like a wall. Like a line you didn’t cross anymore.
