Lately my favorite mixture over at myNoise generators have been Twin Black Lodges (news about David Lynch reminded me about the generator) and mixing it with White Rain and/or Fireplace, but they have a HUGE index of all sorts of atmospheric sounds you can tweak and layer~

Speaking as a cis woman, if you identify as a progressive, cis woman Dropout fan and you are seeing the posts about Dropout’s persistent exclusion of trans women in their programming and your first response is to be defensive, or to get snippy and/or patronizing and/or downright hostile to the trans women bringing up these (extremely reasonable) critiques, then you are not nearly as progressive as you probably claim to be and I really encourage you to examine your beliefs and biases.

Ask yourself why you sincerely believe that a multimillionaire entertainment corporation that sold out Madison square garden is in any way an “underdog” or an “up and coming” media company while the trans women discussing their (valid, true, correct) concerns is not an underdog situation

Ask yourself why Sam Reich and Aabria Iyengar interact with the people that they do on Tumblr. Who do they respond to, and with what? What do they NOT respond to? How many followers do they have?? Like come ON guys use your BRAINS it’s MARKETINGGG they’re marketing themselves as a small close knit media company even when that’s not true anymore and they’re taking advantage of how insanely parasocial you all are lol.

Dropout is a COMPANY. Treat them and critique them as one. And, most importantly, protect and uplift the voices of our trans sisters, who matter more than any show or book or company.

george rexstrew deserves awards for many things but i have to say. edwin’s bloodcurdling scream as niko gets killed deserves a whole award unto itself. like. that scream did not feel at all like a tv show scream. to a somewhat jarring degree. and i can’t express how much I respect that

you know . i do think suguru gets jealous fairlyyy often but it rlly does depend on who it is you’re getting along with ….. gojo makes him jealous on purpose and he hates it. doesn’t like it when you spend too much time with him, not because he doesn’t trust you but because satoru will end up spraying his cologne on your jacket just to piss him off. nanami makes him jealous sometimes because he’s both handsome and has a good personality (unlike gojo). haibara not as much — everyone gets along with haibara. ijichi doesn’t make him jealous because he knows you’re just being nice (lol). shoko is a similar case to gojo where she makes him jealous on purpose because she thinks it’s funny and he just kind of has to deal with it LMAO …… generally he isn’t bothered by people flirting with you in public because he knows you love him and knows he’s better than them (lol) but if you were having a fun conversation with someone who genuinely seems like a Good Person he kind of wishes death upon the establishment and then gets all ^_^ about it. like wdym he’s jealous . he’s just looking out for you. after all, you never know what someone is actually like …. (you would know, wouldn’t you, suguru -.- …….)

Headcanon that like normal not world threatening visions for Adaine are just kind of like absence seizures so occasionally she’ll just go really quiet and just stare off into the distance and the rest of the Bad Kids will try to like slow down and chill out so she’s not too disoriented when she comes back (if they’re somewhere really loud or chaotic she’s given them permission to like put some noise cancelling headphones on her or wrap her in Fabian’s blanket battle sheet)
