Sharing this handy little program that I finally tracked down again, I used to have it years ago and used it constantly, but since I got my new computer I couldn't find it for a while. SO glad to have it again.

If you're fussy like me about how your downloads folder is organized and how many subfolders you have, this makes organizing them so much easier. You just right-click the subfolder, "move content up and zap", it will move everything from that subfolder into the current working directory and delete that now empty subfolder, all in one click.

Awesome if you're like me and for example, want just one folder for a particular clothing item with all possible files in it, and no further subfolders for different ages etc.

I made the command decision to clear out my saves and update my Tray folder. Don't worry; the story save is safe along with the 🏴‍☠️ version, and I backed up my previous saves/tray stuff to a very specific folder called [retired] and put them on this and the spare hd.

A year ago today...

I came back to Tumblr, after nearly five years away. Coincidentally, one day after my 10 year Tumblrversary. I wrote a loooooong post, which I was originally planning on reblogging today, but I figured that might cause confusion, so instead I'll link to it at the end of this one. Because people, I'm going to write a review the year post! 🎉 Why? Because I love looking back and of course everyone is *very* interested in my review of my year! 😌

Today I'm here to point and laugh at the me from a year ago! 😄 Because she wrote, about the story posts that would be shared, there would be "more text, less pictures". HAHAHA! 🤣 Let’s recap a few of the recent updates, shall we? Consequences: 207 pictures. Dateless (Part 2): 267 pictures. Now or Never, considered short: 156 pictures.

But the biggest joke me-from-last-year made was that she said she'd stick to her "no poses policy". I can only shake my head in sympathy for that girl. She had no idea about the rabbithole she was about to go down. 😄

It's been a great year, storywise. The first story chapter I shared showed James meeting Leona on the rooftop of The Factory, the Honeycomb Hills nightclub. At first I only linked to my WordPress, later I brought the story to Tumblr in full. It then gained a title and brought me many new followers. I can't even tell you how much I appreciate the love. During the past 12 months I wrote 36 chapters (that's including minis/extras) and renovated most of Honeycomb Valley. How I got anything else done is a wonder! 😄

Even though this past year was tough for me personally, A Taste of Honey and new connections and even true friendships made on here have made it so much brighter. ❤️

The plans I had for my characters and my story have been doing somersaults and backflips and changed at least four times during the past year. They might continue to do so, but I'm happy with the direction in which we're headed now and the look of the current timeline. There's much more to come!

I'm starting a new game today:

Every day (or every day I feel like it), I will reblog a "Which OC" prompt and pick one of the eight pictured sims.

They are all employed at the Detroit Police Department and whichever candidate scores highest after 30 posts, will get declared "employee of the month". Not that they'd cared about the title, but they definitely care about winning. Or at least about their rivals losing.

The candidates:

upper row: Lt. Hank Anderson / Connor RK800 (forensics) / Officer Chris Miller / Susan Miller (system admin)

lower row: Officer Tina Chen / Rika ST300 (receptionist/secretary) / Daniel PL600 (janitor) / Detective Gavin Reed

The headshots will get updated with the current score each day.

(Note: Since this isn't strictly The Sims content, I could have used their portraits from Detroit: Become Human. But Susan doesn't exist in that game, her being the only "real" OC here, so I opted for an all sims array.)
