ford pines (early 20's, probably): i dont particularly feel tied to being a man, and i dont know if thats normal or not. i should probably just focus on my studies and worry about that later. besides, dad always told me to man up. maybe he's right. stan pines (early 20's, probably) (also in drag): damn my tits look fat as shit in this. ford pines (post canon): it is normal to not be tied to any gender and i feel very comfortable knowing i dont have to be forced into a gender identity im not comfortable with. gender neutral pronouns make me feel comfortable with myself and the fact other people around me are willing to support that means a lot to me stan pines (post canon) (also wearing a dress): damn my tits look fat as shit in this.

Hc that Ford had found himself into plenty of dimensions where people had more than two genders (ex. how Euclydia had more than 14 billion genders) and after that the he/him pronouns just don't stick with him anymore the same, but he doesn't really ponder on that because A) they feel familiar and B) he's a scientist, he doesn't have time for that.

Hey, you know what? The song "Servant of Evil" (Rin/Len/Mothy) strangely started to suit Stan and Ford (Because when people made AMVs it was with Mabel and Dipper, but for our elderly twins, this song fits much better

Huh...in addition to headcanonning that Ford is aroace...I can see him also nonbinary.

Because here's the thing...he's been through many dimensions over the past three decades and I doubt that all of them has the same gender concept as we do.

(Say he appears in a Dimension similar to the Gems from Steven Universe. The Gems are nonbinary by nature!)

So, I have a hard time believing that he would have a problem with gender identity and the like currently (in the past, maybe. Filbrick doesn't seem like the pride kinda guy if you catch my drift)

I can see Ford seeing all of these gender identities and realizing a bit about himself.

Hell, maybe he actually read about it in college. Nonbinary has a vast and rich history in of itself and maybe Ford stumbled across a book about it at some point. Or something he learned from his studies at Gravity Falls. Who knows.

And of course kept it to himself because...well, he's got enough baggage.

Ford does see himself as a man...but doesn't feel that he 100% fit the mold of a man.

Soooo....yeah.

I have to admit I haven't thought about them as much as characters as I have in terms of their relation to fiddleford or ford's accidental homewrecking of the entire mcgucket-dixon family. I also keep changing my damn mind on things which doesn't help (so literally just ignore anything I've said before this point). but here's a couple:
