so i had my final therapy session today. and as my therapist warmly bid me goodbye, saying that she'd enjoyed talking to me, that she'd liked hearing about my weird dreams, that she was so glad to see how things had changed for me in my identity and presentation, that she was impressed by all the things i'd been through and coped with. i thought. well. there it is. i did it. i really did get a good grade in therapy.

Imagine ur just a little guy and you're gonna slow mo break up with ur girlfriend because she's better off without you and then the end of the world happens. And she ends up divorcing you and taking your poster and your flannel but now you're in her kitchen while she stares you down when you're just trying to be nice. (Because you still love her)

Also her sister has been kidnapped and your brothers are gay for each other.

My doctor commented on how clean my ear canals were, so apparently my habit of rinsing out my ears in the shower has netted me a coveted good grade in earwax mitigation.

Got fingerprinted for my new job and I mentioned last time I did this my sewing callouses made it hard for the machine to pick up the ridges in the fingertips. The lady processing them looked at the machine and said I’d probably be fine since I was getting a good grade. “In having fingerprints?” “Yeah”

Getting a good grade in having fingerprints: something normal to want and apparently actually possible to achieve.
