Some analysis/background things I've noticed in Butterfly Business.

Michael has many postits all over. The one in the bathroom about the meeting is most noticeable, but he has some in his bedroom and others on the mirror too

The ones in the bathroom are reminding himself to be normal and not a freak. "Don't BUG out" "You are normal. Just be normal." "What the caterpillar calls the end the rest of the world calls A FREAK OF NATURE."

One of them is in Korean (I think) and seems to feature a phone number. Maybe someone who can read Korean could shed some light on what it says. A name maybe?

His excel sheet seems to have a poem or lyrics in it? Guessing this is not literal but symbolizes him being distracted

General theory:

Not sure if he's gone full butterfly before or not. The antennae definitely seem like something he's not phased by and the notes on the mirror imply he's aware that "butterfly person" is what he's turning into when this happens. If he has, I suspect it wasn't for very long and/or he did not allow himself to enjoy it.

I do think he can turn back, that the change isn't permanent, but who knows, maybe it is?

Honestly, I wasn't thinking of making them, but I just got a little creative rush to make them, so here it is!

A lot of people tell me that Empathy is "already in the movie" because of Riley's mom being controlled by Sadness. But idgaf, so the mom's Empathy works with Sadness! She's her sidekick, so to say

And here's the dad's Empathy! He doesn't work as often as the others, but they try to include him when possible! Bro's just happy to be here, hehe

Can I say one thing?

Why do people have to comment on other people’s way of conducting themselves in a fandom? If there’s an aspect of a fandom that’s you’d rather not see/interact with, then appropriately blacklist, block or do whatever so you don’t see that content.

But DO NOT go to other people’s blogs, comment on their works or their art, or do anything that might ruin their day, undermine their confidence and hard work, or overall make them feel bad.

Yes. This is about oc x canon. Fuck, it’s even about self inserts.

If that’s how someone wishes to spend their time in a fandom because it brings them joy, LET THEM DO IT.

You can do something really responsible and NOT INTERACT.

Hi I’m not any of those hate anons but coming from a pro/com/darkshipper + others I believe if the fandom is big enough there is going to be some sort of sexualizing. But I don’t believe people just posting their oc’s gives people the okay to sexualize them. Even if the character is just a non-popular persons oc. That doesn’t give someone the right unless it’s a fandom! If you’re posting your oc you shouldn’t be afraid of people sexualizing them unless you want to grow a fanbase :-P

i agree in that i don't think people should sexualize people's oc's, because it is kinda weird

when you post anything on the internet, you kinda have to accept that people are going to do whatever they want. r34 is a thing for a reason, and you HAVE to understand that, when you post your oc, there is a chance people sexualize them.
