I've written Acid Spider's story twice and deleted both documents but some things have carried over each time so I'm just gonna ramble under the cut about the main gang plus some random side details! So uh apologies for the word vomit below

Grew up with their dad, Peter Parker, who was murdered when they were eleven so for their teen years they moved from the UK to the US to stay with Aunt May and Uncle Ben

They always end up having some tension with Deadpool and Daredevil

They've known Felix since they were little but don't know they're twins

Otto and Norman had a fling and so did Peter and Harry, but due to Harley being straight that trend did not continue a third generation (and yes, this is something Otto and Norman argue about TO THIS DAY)

There's an alternate timeline as to things that happen after Charlie finds out who killed Peter and it's way darker... (But if you wanna know about it I'm happy to tell)

Anyway I'm also thinking of rewriting this story for a third time and maybe actually posting it depending on the quality but I also have loads of WIPs right now so who knows

lineup of the important players in my spiderguy's universe! i'll put blurbs for each character under the cut!

wilson fisk- kingpin- late 50s (at time spiderguy was bitten)- american- he/him

CEO of a fossil fuels company that provides electricity, gas and oil to not just new york, but the world. fisk is all about money, and amassing as much wealth as possible- and of course, the influence to keep that wealth. he's threatened by green initiatives, and uses any means necessary to crush them, however illegal. his more blantantly illegal stunts frustrate the government and state, as they struggle to outwardly defend him then, but rest assured, they still will. the cops are on his side and he takes full advantage of that. an imposing, shrewd man, fisk prefers to let others do his dirty work, and has multiple agents working for him. however, he can still hold his own in a fight very easily if pushed to it.

main villain. kingpin has no powers- just his money, influence, and a tall stature.

felix hardy- black cat- 16- irish american- he/him

a tricky, bright eyed little thief, felix loves being black cat more than anything. drop out of his school's gynmnast team, he spends his nights nimbly bounding between new york's skyscrapers, looking for things to steal, and messing with spiderguy. he particularly enjoys the latter as time goes on, his playful personality and unfocused attitude towards who he steals from both flustering and frustrating spiderguy. they find shaky alliances (and reationships) with time, particularly after spiderguy is able to convince him to only steal from the rich. even so, felix doesn't like being felix very much, and is avoidant and uncomfortable being vulnerable, not wanting to admit that part of the reason he started this to begin with was to support his single father. who cares about their civillian identities, lets have fun!

no powers, felix gets around with a grappling hook.

luka averin- spiderguy- 15 (17 as of ATSV)- mixed japanese/russian american- he/him

luka is a quiet, unassming, closeted trans kid. out as a guy to only a single person, the janitor at the homeless shleter he volunteers at once a week,much of his inner life and true self is kept inside, and he has issues with isolating himself. he enjoys tending to the little sporuts on his wndowsill, song composing, and video games (fishing/farming sims and jrpgs), is on his school's netball team, and is very passionate about the city that he lives in actually being…liveable. he would like clean air and no radiation, please! his parents have, whilst well meaning, instilled in him an urge not to rock the boat, something that goes away when he's bitten by a radioactive spider

as spiderguy, luka has the confidence and ability to embrace his punk views and fight for the city in the way that it needs. while focusing on people in danger first, he also puts a lot into sabotaging fisk's plans and equipment, even his legal ones, if they're going to harm the city. the cops are not his friend, and he has no problem fighting their violence with more violence. the mask also brings out his previously quiet, nervous sort of humour and puts more conviction behind it, often speaking to his enemies directly and talking about how stupid and evil some of their plans are with great joy. even so, keeping this secret from his parents, and becoming more estrangd from them and his one real close friend is wearing on him.

luka has the standard spider powers (strength, healing, nimblene, spideysense etc). additonally, his gold webs (naturally made by his body) encourage plant growth, he can throw them as flower shaped nets, and he has tiny fangs. ever since being bitten, he has also had the urge to sew, knit, and weave.

hermie schultz- shocker- 25- german american- she/her

daughter of a man who remarried into a wealthy family when she was very young, hermie is a brash, impulsive woman who steals from banks for two reasons: for fun, and for attention. her father and step mother have imposed etiquette and a wish for her to be more "lady-like"on her all of her life, and she has absolutely no patience for it, particularly as none of her family have ever encouraged her tech building. she'd had to build that from the ground up with no support, and enjoys making a big mess with her gauntlets. villain of the week, she enjoys both talking and throwing down with spiderguy, and her parents just use their money to get her out of jail. for now. their patience is running thin.

no powers, hermie uses her tech.

dwight james- blight- 34- american- they/he

no comcbook counterpart here. dwight is an agent of kingpin, blackmailed into service by the man, who is threatening their family. all they want is to be left alone and to get the job done. as such, theyre silent, efficient, and ruthless, as much as they'd like not to be. kingpin sends them to sabotage green areas with their powers, and to fight spiderguy on multiple occasions, who over time, gets them to talk about their situation more, and discuss how to get them out of it. when not being blackmailed by a cruel maniac, dwight is a shy, if cynical saxaphone and bass player who likes to spend time with his sisters kids, strictly keeping the secrets of their new job from all of his family. it's to keep them safe

dwight has corrosive abilities after being exposed to radiatioactive waste, (in an incident that just made their brother terminally ill) and the ability to produce and control noxious gases.

Daughter of the former tactician of Plegia and King Validar. She is also the older sister of Aversa, and the Wife of Kellam while in a poly partnership with Tharja (A less canon tharja). Mother of Morgan and Noire. She’s a deeply sensitive and kind soul who cares about the way of the world around her. I’m planning on having her take control of Plegia after the final battle with Grima. She does kill her/them/him and is sacrificed, but comes back and makes a dramatic return to her friends as the new queen of plegia.

Fates - Mathilde

Not Corrin in this au, she is the daughter of Katerina and Garon and the younger full-sister of Xander (younger than Camilla and same age as Leo).  Born sick which caused the death of her mother, Alyeta was quarantined to the Northern fortress from birth. Before Garon lost himself he cared deeply for his daughter’s care and that resulted in a little known truth. When king sumeragi was killed, he had with him his young step-daughter Kamui. Not knowing of Kamui’s true parentage, but trusting the word of anankos in his ear - Garon used the heart of the young girl to give renwed life to his daughter. It worked, but Alyeta remained in the norther fortress until the beginning of the fates storyline. Not sure yet who she’ll romance but i’m thinking Ryoma for the whole “union of light and dark” thing. There are a few other ocs for this au but later later.

The daughter of Lady Rhea and Legendary Hero Jeralt, she is the youngest Nabatean there is. When the monastery caught on fire, her father was presumed dead and she sustained heavy burns on her right side. She lived with her mother in the monastery, but was not permitted to attend until the year 1180. That same year, Jeralt resurfaced as a mercenary traveling with his squire/assistant Leonie Pinnelli. Having saved the house leaders, Jeralt was invited to head the guard like old times - and Leonie was given status as a student. Returning from a training trip with the pegasus knights, myrrhine was both told she was attending the academy that year - and that her father was alive. Myrrhine is the honed to be the perfect vessel for sothis, but she does not know this fact - as Rhea kept it from her and Jeralt. A special course student, it is not known that she is Rhea’s daughter. She develops a relationship with Lorenz Hellman Gloucester only for them to have a massive falling out when she learns he knew she was Rhea’s daughter. She turns into a dragon during the battle for garreg mach - a sign of her preparation as a vessel, but still falls over the cliff edge. Being found by the Empire - she is taken and experimented on against her will [however not by anyone she knows besides hubert] to try and unlock her potential. During the war she reconnects with lorenz who saves her from the torture along with felix and dimitri. He is different, moving forward from the pain he caused in the past. having taken the seiros/golden deer route. war stuff happens, and the tempest king is found alive but unwilling to take the throne - and myrrhine becomes queen of fodlan.

OTHER CONNECTION IDEAS:  there’s a few other connection ideas that  don’t  require a full connection format, but that i would be down to see.

•   cousins/aunts/uncles:  his father’s side of the family comes from port briar, so i would really enjoy some cousins, aunts, uncles in the group as well. •   sister:  so max has got a younger sister, but she would have to be  eighteen  years old. so she’d really be on the lowest end of the age range in the group  &  likely have a faceclaim that’s 19/20 years old in real life. but i would be very down to see her around. their dynamic is very up to player, but generally max is very loyal  &  protective so we could do tons of fun things with this.

ADELA HENDRIX  (samantha logan)

adela hendrix ( samantha logan ) is looking for their  half sibling.  they’re the spitting image of  any (half) white fc, poc preferred and should be  18 to 22.  you  have  to contact them before applying.   ⟨  ✽  ⟩  adela didn’t know of their existence, at the very least not until now. they’re the love child of her father and his new partner. he left adela’s mother only months after she was born & neither of them have been in contact with him since. adela still actively resents her father for leaving her and her mother, and i assume this sentiment is kinda carried over towards this character as well, despite them having no part in her own issues with her father. it would be an incredibly tense & interesting connection to develop, and to see if they can potentially embrace the sibling bond between them in the long term. they’re locals, but it is entirely up for debate whether or not addie’s father stayed in maine, or even in the usa, so they could be from anywhere in the world. just something to note is that, considering their father’s business ventures, they’re from a quite well off family. lots more details are still up to you, and i would love to hear your input about that. if you’re interested in this connection & would like to talk more about it, don’t hesitate to message me!     —     url:  heavnfalls

OTHER CONNECTION IDEAS:  here’s a few more that maybe don’t require some full blown format. but i would also love to see a   love / hate connection  that’d be really interesting. platonic, but could also be romantic, but it would be a really interesting back and forth between getting on each other’s nerves and being too intrigued to let them go. also i would love a type of  enemies with benefits  type thing, because i think it’d be super interesting. also open to any gender tbh.

Melodie Coudriet

Hello again everyone, I want to tell you more about the main character of my upcoming fic, Melodie Coudriet.

Melodie is a young British teenager and daughter of Adeline Hardy the head of Hardy Cosmetics, a high end cosmetics brand with branches all around the world. She has had very few true friends due to her mother’s work bringing her all over the world and because of the fact that many would attempt to take advantage of her due to her wealth and connections. When she was 11 years old she discovered the Miraculous of the Bee which grants the power of Subjection in an old jewelry store on the outskirts of London. How the Bee Miraculous ended up there of all places is still a secret but it will soon be revealed in my fic. Melodie became a superheroine and helped people, stopping muggings and assaults and many other small scale crimes before arriving in Paris.

Melodie and her mother came to Paris to open a new branch of Hardy Cosmetics and in the process form a deal with Gabriel brand because of their popularity. This leads to Melodie becoming friends with Adrien and along with the other new friend she made earlier that day, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Melodie to believe Paris will give her the fresh start she so desperately needs only to be terribly mistaken.

Everything else you’ll have to find out for yourself by reading my fic but let me explain where Melodie even came from.

After I saw the original leaked art of Zoe and what Chloe did in Miracle Queen I was so excited to see this new character and new wielder for my favorite kwami, Pollen, but unfortunately while I do like Zoe I think there’s a lot of problems with how they handled her (along with the show in general but regardless), such as making her Chloe’s sister and constantly pitting them against each other for no reason. I also dislike alongside many others that Zoe got her Miraculous after only appearing in two episodes versus even Luka and Kagami who both had to wait a season just to receive theirs. 

When the first official pictures for Zoe were revealed I saw a theory that she could potentially be Melodie from the early Quantic Kids concept, I mean it’s not like we haven’t seen adaptations of them in the form of Felix and Mercury in the New York Special, so I thought it wasn’t that far-fetched. Eventually I really got into it and was thinking about how it could all play out…then it was revealed that this new Bee Miraculous holder was Chloe’s sister and it felt like a total copout. And yes while I grew to like Zoe a lot I still felt like it was a missed opportunity for so many other things. So I thought screw it, why not make it myself and change a bunch of other stuff too that I disliked.

I hope learning a little more about Melodie has got you excited to read my fic, The Hive’s Melody, coming soon. Melodie and her story are rather complicated and I hope the fact that she is an OC for the most part doesn’t turn you away from the fic. Stay Miraculous!!

Five Questions for Writers

1. Do you have a favorite character to write? Who and why?

That’s tough, because I love writing everyone for different reasons. It’s a bit of a tie between Felix and Aril right now, though.

Felix is a huge mess of a person, dealing with personal issues AND a world-ending crisis at the same time... but he’s slowly getting better over time and it’s so nice to write that slow progression.

Aril, meanwhile, is fun to write because he’s the exact opposite. He still has room to grow, of course, but he’s got one of the more stable personalities of this set of OCs, and it’s NICE to not have to deal with such heavy stuff with him.

2. Do you have a favorite trope to write? Or one you want to write?

That’s hard - I just really love throwing characters that are VERY different from each other into situations where they have to work together, I guess. I like letting them bounce off each other and become more interesting and complete as time goes on. It’s why I try to make sure my characters aren’t alone too often! It’s much more fun to have a conversation going.

I also adore found-families and odd friendships, which are frequently born from the above trope.

3. Share your favorite description you’ve written?

Recently, it would have to be this bit from “Wild Highever Roses,” my fic about Nate dealing with old ghosts:

He often found himself wandering what used to be the castle gardens in the evenings. The sackings had destroyed the plants and hedges that had once been so carefully tended. His mother had cherished them, loved bragging about how the Howe gardeners managed to tame even finicky Orlesian flowers, tease them into blooming in Ferelden’s climate.

Most of those plants were dead. Dried up, beaten, broken. Only the roses had been hardy enough to survive - and they’d gone wild, climbing up the stone walls and trellises. Some were even blooming now, despite the season being wrong.

Even though he’s reminded of my Cousland, my intention was for it to be clear these thoughts also pertain to himself. (Which comes up later, because I like things that echo and mirror themselves.)

4. Share your favorite dialogue you’ve written?

I am really fond of the very first conversation between Felix and Iri:

“Get me some food and a drink,” Felix said, digging a few coins out of his pocket. “Surprise me. Just make it strong. I’ve had a long day.”

“Haven’t we all?” the woman asked. Her tone was a bit sardonic, but she still wore a wry smile on her face. “Normally I wouldn’t advocate drinking before noon, but today is a rare exception.”

Felix glanced down at the counter in front of her and grimaced a bit at the sight of several slips of paper discussing the deaths of the Emperor and all his heirs. People did say that word traveled fast in the City… 

“Yeah. Horrible, isn’t it? Just wait, though. It’ll get worse.” He flashed a tiny grin at her. “I bet they’re going to use this as an excuse to raise our taxes.”

“You’re horrible,” she said, but there was a hint of laughter in her voice.

Felix smirked as he picked up the cup of ale the bartender had set in front of him and took a sip of it. It wasn’t as strong as he’d hoped for, but after three days drinking nothing but stale water it tasted like liquid gold. “I’m Felix, actually. Felix Aelius.”

She laughed aloud at that, then punched his shoulder gently. “You’re still horrible, Felix Aelius. I suppose you want my name, then?”

“If you’d humor me, dear lady.”

She raised an eyebrow as she looked him over, but the smile her lips had curled up into told Felix he’d at least piqued her interest. “Iri,” she finally said. “You may call me Iri.”

Yes, Felix makes dad jokes. He IS horrible.

5. Scene you haven’t written, but want to?

Oh man. Well. Here’s three, from the three main stories I’m working on currently:

Skyrim: Eira gets roped into playing Mara’s Advocate because she somehow upset Maramal, the priest of Mara. She has to atone by “spreading Mara’s love” which she thinks is complete BS. Except apparently she has a real gift for this, because everything she sets up works out. x’D (Since she’s an archer, it’s also a dumb cupid reference but I love it.)

Oblivion: I look forward to the moment Felix realizes Martin and Iri are actually both into him AND each other, which comes as a huge relief to him because he was catching feelings for both of them but was scared they were going to pair up without him. (That said, the build up is going to be great as well, haha...)

Dragon Age: There’s a whole scene I have planned that deals with Minna’s birth father and Dirk wondering how to tell him about her... oof. It deals with painful stuff, but I plan to give it a happy ending!

(chuckle) Very tough sibling rivalry

What groups are you friendly with? Are you allied with any factions?

Oh I'm not Legion at all. Can’t think of 'friendlies', but there was this guild... didn't hear from them in a long time. Probably got disbanded or went underground.

Tell me about your best friend.

Best friend? Huh (tapping) Sure would be nice to have sleepovers.

Do you have a family? Tell me about them!

Dad was obvious with his favouritism. I had no issue with that because I was one of the favourites. I got his eyes. Mom got this naturally high anaerobic threshold. Fast woman. I don't think she liked me. Loved that I inherited that though (laughs) 

Peony was my favourite step-sibling, got killed by my auntie, a bitch. I don't care about the rest (pause) Oh I heard good ol' Willow survived though, what a hardy bastard.

What about a partner or partners?

Nobody permanent. But I’m thinking of someone.

Who are your enemies, and why?

Contrary to popular belief I don't hate the NCR. I just think you're hilarious. Ok, you captured me. What now? Bureaucracy me to death? (wheeze) Enemy is too strong a word (tapping) It has to be a two-way acknowledged relationship y’know. I've got some, all personal and intimate.

Have you ever heard of The Brotherhood of Steel? What do you think about them?

Their rigid traditionalist ideals will be the end of them (pause) There was this sweet woman. Pretty too. Had wisdom in her. That's why she's not part of a mass grave in the desert hardly anyone knows exist.

What about The Enclave?

They'd be a pain in the ass to break up with because they never move on do they? The whole closed society thing? Wow entitled much?

How do you feel about Super Mutants?

Next level genome engineering in them. Difficult to kill. Pretty impressive but the whole cognitive impairment is a drawback in my opinion.

What’s the craziest fight you’ve ever been in?

I went to Zion Canyon once, you would not believe who I met there! It was craaazy! I was just (shriek) It was mad! You should have been there (chuckle) I’d do that all over again.

Have you ever fought a Deathclaw?

From a distance! Fuck whoever designed those freaks!

Do you like fighting?

If it's worth my time, I love it!

What’s your weapon of choice?

A Truờng Đao. Don't repeat after me you'll butcher it. It’s a nice sword to cleave with. I also use a 10mm SMG. My go to for needed bullet sprays pew pew

How do you survive? Your wits, your charm, your skills, brute force, some combination? (a.k.a. what’s your S.P.E.C.I.A.L?)

Surviving's easy. Don't cause trouble, hide during raids, submit to whatever fate gave you. Boooring. Living happily, now that's subjective. I watch my steps carefully y’know. Should things go sour I'm always ready for a sprint.

Have you ever been in a vault? What do you think about them?

Confining. The walls echo your whispers. Abandoned ones are scariest. It can be re-vault-ting! Get it!? That was a good one c’mon laugh how dare you.

How do you beat all the radiation around here? Has it affected you?

I'm built sturdy like that. I do avoid unnecessary exposure. Normal doctor practice. Always a monthly dose of Rad-X, bring RadAways, avoid drinking anything unpurified, stay away from highly toxic environments such as the dirt Vulpes Inculta steps on.

What’s your favorite wasteland critter?

Bear with me (pause) It’s the bear! I love bears! The first time I saw a bear was in Zion Canyon. Fluffie! Big! The people call it Yaō Guái or whatever. Weird choice on etymology for an adorable creature. Oh and (tapping) woodpeckers. Cool birds.

What’s your least favorite wasteland critter?

I despise the cazadores. Nightmares flying in flocks, with bite stings that makes your limbs feel... ugh lasts for days. What were those unethical brains thinking?

How do you feel about robots?

I have a cute little robot myself. They are interesting. I heard rumours of uncannily humanoid robots further East. It reminds me of a trip I had to an empty mountain once (chuckle) Transhumanism is truly interesting.

How many caps do you have on you right now?

You took away my pouch money. Go count it yourself.

Nuka Cola or Sunset Sarsaparilla?

Plain purified water. Those things are corrosive and likely irradiated, limit your intake. Brush or wipe your teeth at night before you go to sleep. Pay a visit to your local doctors for a checkup on dental twice a year.

Do you do chems?

Not the addictive ones. I've seen Hydra overuse, it's not lethal per se, but I simply prefer a sober mind.

Do you ever think about the Pre-War world?

Not much. Sometimes about their foolishness.

What’s your deepest regret? What would you do differently?

I don’t make a lot of mistakes, but I do think of Peony. How it'll be like if she survived, if I saved her. Still I like where I am now, I wouldn't change a thing.

What’s your biggest achievement? Or what do you hope to achieve?

Assassinating Kimball was all momentous but it lacked personal attachment. Bombing the monorail there? (tapping) The risks in espionage, then walking away from an explosion. That’s a cool job. What do I wanna achieve? (tapping) I wanna walk out of this place.

What do you want for the future? For yourself? Your friends? The world?

The world can burn, all I care is if my descendants will hold the torch.
