Fall is in a few days and Autumn opens her pumpkin patch officially. Business is slow during the spring and summer and she has been considering to change her business into something else. Her sister-in-law, Malia will be going back home soon. Malia has been a great help lately. As much as Malia has distanced herself from Autumn, Malia will be missed.

Family reunion: Carmen meets Claudia and Matthew in Cobblebottom Street! Henford is pretty small, after all! Claudia is so happy to see Carmen back in town; but Carmen can't help to notice how rough Claudia looks. Working full time at the farm does that, but at least Claudia seems happy with her country life. Incredible to think she is a Landgraab! And Matthew is now fully grown, sporting a brand new hairstyle and a beard. He looks nice and clean, and Carmen is very proud of her grandson. She wonders tho', if Matthew is inclined to run the farm or if he has other plans for the future... Anyway it's nice catching up!

Shayna feels the pressure of the new move but has decided that she will enjoy the quiet stillness that Finchwick brings and also pursue her dream of being a children’s author.

Her little home came with a barn and a garden patch. Creating a routine of farm work and balancing her writing drama have filled her days so far and let’s not talk about her potential new man?

Moving has been the right choice but the desire to begin a family is burning hot and bright in her mind.

Hendrie has been resting for the sake of his sisters, but that didn't mean he was a pleasant person to be around. He was angry. He didn't want to be angry, but how could he not be?

His whole future could be ruined by this. Everybody had been trying to get his spirits up by reminding him that everybody was affected by the Great Famine and his training would resume once he got his strength back, but it did nothing to make him feel less irritated staring at the same four walls day in and day out.

The person who was currently irritating him the most was his sister-in-law, Isabella. The princess was a fiercely loyal woman, a trait that she learned from her father.

To be fair, the two of them were usually fairly close. Right now he just didn't feel like being close to anyone.

"You know, I haven't walked from one end of this room to the other. For all we know, this has crippled me."

"You are not crippled, Hendrie."

"How would you know? Are you the Watcher?"

"I am not the Watcher, but I am acquainted with her work. Things might seem bleak now, dear boy, but you will understand one day that She always knows best."

This caused him to snap. He tried to not raise his voice at any woman, let alone his brother's wife, but he couldn't stop himself.

"She always knows best?! These past few years have been nothing but awful! If She knows best, maybe She finds it amusing to torture us all?!" Isabella didn't try to interrupt, so he just kept barreling on. "I have lost two of my sisters and most of their children. I have nearly lost a sister I shared a womb with! Then when I find one thing, one thing, that keeps me focused and keeps me sane? I collapse and cannot even do that! So please tell me how the Watcher can have any sort of plan! It almost feels as if all of this is random chance at best or planned torture at worst!"

"Hendrie..." It looked like he regret his outburst as soon as it started. "I have lost much too. I have lost every person you did and also my father and brother. Not to mention my little sister that never got out of confinement so I didn't even get to truly meet her. I understand this crushing weight that is on your shoulders, dear boy, but. . . Maybe the Watcher has you resting now because you were using your training to avoid the pain. You cannot avoid pain and heal from it, you must feel."

"Isabella -"

"Please listen. I listened to you. She has a funny way of speaking to us. You need to go through your grief for it to improve but were avoiding it, so She forced you into a bed where all you can do is grieve and heal. It's Her love for you."

"I suppose you may be right. . ."

Isabella could no longer sit still. She tugged her brother-in-law into her arms, squeezing him tightly. "You aren't alone in this, Hendrie. Lean on us. Lean on me. You will get through this."

Jack's Therapy Game (From the beginning: -> here)

After Jack cared for the horses and Lou prepared the room for Jack, they went over to the Pub. Jack didn't get kicked out like Vlad and no one asked about his 'status'.

Jack: "About the money for the room and stuff... I'll get a job right tomorrow morning. I heard the sculptor is hiring." Lou: "Oh no, no one works for the sculptor." Jack: "I don't have problems to take my shirt off." Lou: "It's not this. We don't talk about it. Don't you worry, you can help me at the shop."

Lou noticed Jack's rash. Lou: "Isn't this painful? I've heard about this. Did your Alpha die? If you don't get this treated you might die too, you know that, don't you?" Jack: "No, he didn't die - it's uhm... complicated and yes..." Now that he thinks about it, it doesn't hurt! He didn't even pay attention since he was so stressed about being locked up. But as far as he remembers, it didn't hurt since he entered the game!

Jack: "I'm fine :3 So, are these your horses?" Lou: "No, Lunatic belongs to no one but he kind of lives here and Val is the horse of my best friend from the neighboring village. But he's here all the time because they are deeply in love." Jack: "Is that so." Does that mean this friend is NPC Jeb? Well, since Ji Ho and some of their other friends are also here as NPCs, it would make sense. Jack hopes he can talk to one of them soon to see how 'real' their NPC versions are. Tiny Can maybe does this so they feel comfortable in their therapy.

Even the Queen and the Prince Caleb are here tonight. And he's seen NPC Leander, Barfolomew and: Greg -.- But the Queen and Greg don't sit together. Like at the Arena. That's good news! Jack: "Is the Queen married?" Lou: "No. And she's only the Queen here until the Prince gets married to Princess Jihovere." Princess Jihovere? Caleb and Ji Ho will get married here? OMG! And the Queen will not stay the Queen here so his chances to hit on her just increased! (Omg Jack!) ('Jihovere' refers to 'Guinevere', the beloved wife of King Arthur.)

Jack and Lou had a good time at the pub and Jack has a good feeling about this therapy. For once he can try to act like a 'more normal' person in this world and see what he could achieve. No one here knows about his disorders and hardships. And here he can experience what his life could be if he overcame/worked on some of them. He's fully aware that he can't be 'healed' and he knows that his friends love him and worry about him and try to protect him. But he also gets the feeling that this keeps him from prospering. He'll talk about this with the others when he's back. But he's going to stay a little longer because he really likes Lou and they have so much fun together. And the pain is gone. Jack hadn't felt this good for a very long time.

Zora Ceramics - a cc lot by moonwoodhollow This lot has been in the making for over a year and was originally born from the pottery room I posted back in March 2024. While it was merely a deco room I've always hoped that I could turn it functional someday and I'm so happy it's finally possible. I hope you'll enjoy this version as well - now finally as it was always intended with an unfurnished home for 2-4 sims as well.

So what do you get?

Zora Ceramics is a 20x15 lot best placed in Nordhaven in the Gammelvik neighbourhood on the Old Torget House lot. The lot is currently set as a residential lot. With the new pack, you could combine it as a residential/business lot. The lot consists of one pottery studio with separate access and a family home comprising 3 floors. There are 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor, one of them has an ensuite bathroom.

As I mentioned, this lot was born out of a pottery room I posted about a year ago for a story (that is on indefinite hiatus). Back then I added the pottery room as an addition to a gorgeous lot by @catsaar called Aisling House. It's a stunning lot for Henford-on-Bagley and if you haven't downloaded it, do it! It also served as the inspiration for the courtyard on this lot. While I saved the room separately and placed it on a new lot, the game still considers this lot as catsaar's lot and I hope it's okay for me to share it as it is!

Uses items from the following packs: looks best with almost all packs. But a tip: take a look at the build in the gallery and click on the packs to see the items I used from that pack, it might also look good with fewer packs.

Meanwhile in Henford-on-Bagley, Matthew has aged into a child. Time sure runs fast. He still looks much like his mother. He is a little spoiled, doesn't like to work on the farm, but has good grades for now.

Unfortunately granpa Michael has died of old age, but his ghost is pretty much "alive" and haunting the farm at night. Gabriel decided to get his son a dog, perhaps to stem the sense of loss. Her name is Snow and she is a sweetheart.
