So, Mixed Genres, I haven’t touched on that in a bit. So lets seeee,

1. If a Mixed Genres is to get sick, injured, etc, etc, it can be a lot more dangerous than you think. Let’s say Harry gets a cut on his finger and it gets infected, well, if he were to shift into say a 2D, shape guy (I’ll leave that up to imagination cuz I cant put my thought to words but like shapes with no conceivable human form, Harry would most likely use that form to hide) then the infection would spread entirely throughout the area where the finger had been smooshed into. So when he swaps back, half his body could be infected instead of just his finger. This only applies to forms that won’t look human when changed into, so Toon to Grim won’t have any affects on the body but anything abstract can drastically affect the body if the immune system/body is compromised.

2. Crime syndicates will always be on the lookout for stable and unstable Mixed Genres, this forces Mixed Genres to be in constant hiding (adapting to one genre and maintaining their emotions) as to not bring attention to themselves (Hence Harry usually being a toon but he also bends the "rules" A LOT for his stories 😭). However, unstable Mixed Genres will often give up and either be taken by crime syndicates or often they perish in alleyways (usually due to malnourishment, environmental factors, or other means).

3. Fiends will usually pry around alleys for the rare find of a Mixed Genres’s corpse as they are both powerful and could allow them to be in any environment or group of people they wish.

4. Due to the lack of information on Mixed Genres, healthcare is something Mixed Genres will avoid as they will only be treated as the genre they are presenting as (say there’s an illness only Grim genres can get but the Mixed Genre is in a Toon form then they will be treated for the closest Toon illness despite it being the totally incorrect diagnosis).

5. Mixed Genres will be prone to every illness in every genre. The typical vaccinations for said illnesses will also not work as they are only curated to the particular genre that has that illness. Basically, Mixed Genres can only protect themselves from illnesses that have a universal vaccination across all genres.

6. Mixed Genres are also hidden from the government’s eyes, being so rare, many members of the public and government officials deem it as an impossibility, something that could never ever happen.

7. The oldest Mixed Genre alive is Harry Letterman (65 yrs old) (before Harry, was his mentor, who I will touch on her lore later). Mixed Genres have a very poor lifespan, despite their strength and powers, the outside factors affects their longevity so greatly.

8. Being a Mixed Genre is something you are born with (occurrence of 1 in 350,000 births), however, the effects start at any time after 3 months of being born up until they are 20 years of age. The main effect is becoming unstable, it is only with guidance and training does someone go from unstable to stable.

9. Mixed Genres are compatible with all genres, the strength of their abilities won't be affected regardless of the area HOWEVER ☝️ the only way they can use them is if they incorporate the genre they are in currently with whatever abilties they wish to use, essentially they have to be in an unstable form to able to use them.

It also depends if the two or more genres a Mixed Genre wishes to use are compatible with eachother. So say, to use a Toon's ability in a Realistic Genre, Harry may take a Realistic form, and want to use a Toon's stretch, in that instance it wouldn't be optimal as a Realistic forms bones aren't supposed to stretch like a Toon's🧍‍♂️But say, Grim appearance and Toon strength, well that works quite well (I'll be making Harry do that BAHAH). It all depends on the ability and the physical form, as long as the abilties and body are compatible it'll work.

But environment/societal factors also need to be taken into account, will mixing their powers bring them attention in said Genre, most likelyyyy, yes. Yes it will. Therefore endangering themselves even more.

Not to mention the dangers of being in an unstable state itself. A stable Mixed Genre can go unstable but still maintain a normal physical form with the ability to use the mixed up powers but even the smallest amount of emotional instability can cause the body to revert back to a completely unstable form where it causes the Mixed Genre extreme amounts of pain.

Hence why the majority of Mixed Genres will never attempt to use/mix powers outside of the Genre they're currently presenting in.

the bee team is super confused when its bee’s bday and some guy just shows up. sideswipe can identify him as heatwave but he still has no idea wtf hes doing at base. this is not explained by bumblebee waving him over, punching him in the shoulder and then getting tackled by heatwave. strongarm gets in between them and is about to interrogate/arrest heatwave when bee finally chooses to explain that this is his little brother.

cue confused bee team and denny + russel bc “bots dont have siblings wtf are you talking about.” this leads to a very complicated discussion about their personal relationships with optimus which is. more than a little weird. no one wanted to know abt their mommy issues ok keep that shit to urself. u nasty.

anyways then heatwave calls bumblebee a little bitch and starts telling his team all kinds of embarrassing stories about him and this time bumblebee is the one doing the tackling. he stopped very quickly because heatwave threatened to call mom (optimus). anyways bumblebee is pissed (just a little) (he loves his brother dw he just thinks hes an ass) but his team is thrilled. heatwave is their new fave babysitter basically.

also bee gets a bday gift from heatwave and ofc its something heatwave should not have had access to. some kind of insane piece of experimental tech or an inconvenient weapon or just something gross (like roadkill. as a rescuer and a reckless driver he’s desensitized to roadkill and hes the type to give it to someone). anyhow bumblebee keeps it ofc (hes a good big brother fr) but everyone else is mildly suspicious about it.

ok so since bumblebee is OP's kid and heatwave is also his kid does that mean they're siblings now.

just. shitty little brother heatwave constantly bothering bumblebee who is desperately uncomfortable with having to watch his new brother. optimus wants them to bond so they're both trying except no they aren't they're just pretending. like they do get along sometimes but it's very awkward (especially in the beginning right after bee meets the rescue bots). bumblebee wants to know why optimus didn't mention this before. he didn't know optimus had another kid like wtf man you can't just give me a little brother.

anyways he eventually realizes that heatwave loves hearing war stories and that's how they start bonding. bumblebee may have been an unwilling older brother but that doesn't mean he's gonna be a bad one. at some point he realizes he's very attached to his new sibling and would kill for heatwave. heatwave would do the same but he would also kill for fun so it goes without saying.

i also think they argue about who's the older brother. because of the whole stasis thing even though heatwave was born first bumblebee has been alive and conscious longer. this has lead to many arguments but eventually heatwave gets used to his little brother role and bumblebee likes having the older brother role. but they will lie about who's the older/younger one if it's convenient. also to get out of trouble with mom (optimus).

(bumblebee sometimes calls him "big little bro" because heatwave was born first. heatwave refuses to use the word "bro" in any context and calls him many affectionate terms like "bitch" and "assface.")

When did stray kids form?

Debuted as a group of originally 9 on March 25th 2018. They formed in 2017 initially from a reality Tv show called JYP entertainment. In that show Felix and Lee know were originally eliminated from the group, Felix due to his Korean not being the best and Lee know because JYP labelled his raps weak so to speak. However after their initial elimination they worked hard and enhanced their skills leading to them later in redemption episode they were eventually brought back into the group.

Felix (Felix Yongbok Lee): known to be the sunshine with deep voice, 24 yrs old, 1/2 Australians in the group, crys on stage a lot, birthday is September 15th, sub rapper & dancer.

(That is a VERY interesting question my friend, and thank you so much for the ask I've been wanting to redo my math and reevaluate my timeline and this gave me the perfect excuse!!! So here are some important dates I've compiled for the A.S.A. and how old they would be in 2025 where the main story takes place.)

C.L.A.D.E. was Established April 24th, 1978 by Lwazii Ntuli –

They joined the A.S.A. in 2005 & were revealed to the public in 2006, however several months later Lwazii Ntuli was killed and Peggy Scratch inherited the title of Director from him.

The A.S.A. was Established October 28th, 2000

They became public in 2003.

The A.S.A. was officially recognized by the U.N. as an International Aide in 2023, thus becoming the first (resource/aide rooted) organization that all 193 countries use. Allowing research, aide, and conservation to be established within every country, ending international conflicts in the name of Life on Earth.

Cassidy : Cassidy is ten years old, they live with their father and they're a big Freddy's fan. They go there a lot and sometimes sneak out of the house so they can go. They didn't know any of the other kids beforehand but them and Gabriel were in the same class. They enjoy exploring and they're very outdoorsy, they're also pretty stubborn and determined.

Susie - Susie is 7 years old, she lives with her parents and her dog Alfie. She and Fritz have known each other since they were young and are best friends, she's been to Freddy's a few times but doesn't really like it because of how loud it is. She's very attached to her dog and was inconsolable when he went missing. She's shy and awkward but very sweet.

Fritz - Fritz is 8 years old, she lives with her mother and older brother. Her and Susie are best friends, she's also not really that bothered about Freddy's but she thinks Foxy is cool. She loves bugs and has a lot of pets that her brother helps her take care of, she knows a lot of cool bug facts. She's very outgoing and clumsy.

Obviously him and Jeremy know each other and Cassidy is in the same class as him but they never talk. He doesn't like Freddy's and the animatronics creep him out but Jeremy likes going so he always goes with him. He's very protective of Jeremy and usually quite serious, he's smart and enjoys playing boardgames.

Jeremy - Jeremy is 5 years old, he is the youngest missing kid, he lives with his parents and Gabriel. He's nonverbal a lot of the time and only ever speaks to Gabriel and his parents. He really likes Freddy's and his favourite character is Bonnie, he likes to draw and often draws him. He loves his brother a lot and doesn't like going out without him.

So im gonna try to explain whats going on in my head purely so people in my blog know what i mean by i might be a system (in reality i dont think i am but i do have other people in my head and i have since i was a kid)

My name is Felix, i am i guess the host, im primary the one in control of the body and i was the original ig

i was defiantly dissociated up until grade 6 when quarantine hit

the headspace is called 'the server' as well as our group (-Cass and Uruki ill get to them in a sec)

the headspace is the place where the main character of the series i started when i was 8 yrs old, lives

and everyone in the server looks like the first/main character from my series they voice act (dont ask ;-;/lh)

I also look like mine but i can bounce from looking like Nathalie to looking like my sona Rex, whom i can draw

Nathalie is just easier to animate (in my head) because of how many years shes been what i look like in my mind (if you wanna know shes a brown dog with brown eyes (no markings))

The best way i can describe us is like a group of people (who are now friends) in a discord server, everyones on the vc together unless you choose to leave, so yes they do sleep and leave

Taro and Amythest know how to be there while sleeping, i dont know how but theyre always there unless they leave for something

in total theres me, Cass, Uruki and 19 others

Cassadrina and Uruki are different to the server as in, 1, they do not have bodies, and 2, they can take over me

this is my body, by technicality, Cass and Uruki don't have bodies, when they take over (switching) theyre taking over my body, usually theres communication when someones going to take over unless im being an asshole and probably not taking care of myself

Uruki is like the little of the system? hes a dog, Cass is a cat, neither of them voice act for my series and neither of them look like one of my characters

and also, the server are not my characters, i do i think maladaptive daydream, but i know the difference, and i didn't make the server intentionally like i do with my characters

from grade 1 to grade 6, more people got put into the server, we didn't choose to be paired up with each other and only a couple of us knew another who also joined

Cass is like the protecter, she helped me alot when i was going through things and shes always looking out for me (not to say everyone else doesn't)

And also random thing I'm not sure if others have this but Cass hates food, it's like werid, she can sometimes deal with water but she doesn't eat or drink, I do that, her and Uruki don't have to it's not necessary, but Uruki still eats cause he likes food

Amythest was the last one to join just before i ressociated

In reality i don't know when i first met Cass and Uruki, but Star, John and Pat were the first people from the server

With the ages most everyones an adult, Tree and Luna moon crystal are the oldest besing like 50 or near there im too lazy to check rn and Jessica and Jake being 2 years older than me? i cant math rn but they just turned 18 (im 16 btw)

the main thing im confused about is, they have bodies? or atleast it feels like it, they cannot take over me because they don't have to and can't, why? because they have bodies and lives, which is why theyre not all there 24/7 like Cass and Uruki are, everyone lives in austrlia according to what they tell me, aside from amythest who is british

my main problem with my thing is i dont function like how i see most systems function, and also from what i remember i dont think the trauma i got was bad enough to become a system

and also the server are not me split, they carry no personality traits nor memories other than what they know, Cass and Uruki are more split me, Cass being much older, responsible and quiet (like a cat -sleeping) and Uruki being much younger, thinking less, not having any social anxiety and being much more carefree

It might have been affected by my autism and therianthropy which I won't rly go into

I'm not going to explain the more inner workings cause um, there is more, but yeah this is basically the gist

I’m a published poet. I got drunk one night and decided to submit to a publishing company and they actually like it (I had never shown anyone my poems before then).

I once scammed my way into getting a job as a pet groomer (idk shit about pet grooming). It only lasted 3 weeks before they realized I was making stuff up as I went along.

I’ve worked in just about any industry you can think of (I was basically Trish from Austin & Ally as a teenager)

I’ve been on the news about 3 times for different things. (Including when people thought we kidnapped our friend but really she was just blackout drunk and wouldn’t get in the car. We had to call the police and have her explain the situation once she was sober, but at least it’s a good story)

I grew up doing theatre and got to perform for an audience of over 5,000 people when I was 18 because I competed at a national acting competition and came in first.

I’m a freelance choreographer and have won a few awards in last 4 years.

I studied film for like 4 years and have multiple certifications in it.

I’ve saved my sister from getting hit by a car multiple times (she got mad at me after the 1st time because I accidentally hurt her when I did it but she was small so I don’t blame her lol)

I own over 200 books and collect old books. The oldest one I have is from 1907 and I want to learn how to restore/bind books because a lot of my older books weren’t in the best condition when I found them.

When I was in high school, I posted a lot about theatre and dance and had a famous musical writer (in the broadway world at least) reach out about auditioning for a show he was doing because I had the “right look”. I had to turn it down because, no matter how much I try, I am not a singer lmao

When I was 11 years old my little sister was being bullied at school and the teachers did nothing so I found the 7 years olds after school and threatened to beat them up if she came home crying again (it worked even though I never have and never will look like I can beat someone up)

I was told by an adult “if you say something enough times people start to believe it” when I was a kid and I’m pretty sure they meant it about self image and such, but I took it literally and wanted to see if it was true so everyday I’d tell my sister she was scared of moths (she wasn’t) until eventually she started to believe me and actually developed a fear of them. We both completely forgot about it until 10 years later when she started crying at the sight of one and then suddenly the memory came back and I realized it was all my fault. I wrote some of my college essays about that and she tried to beat me when I finally told her, but I deserved it tbh.

I'm still trying to work out Kant's timeline, or more specifically when his parents died/he became Babe's guardian - in ep 5 when he's talking about basketball, he says if he hadn't had his "head wrapped up in other things" he could have made the NBA (hah!). Are we to infer, then, that that's when it happened, do you think? Which would've made him 18ish and Babe...not sure of their age gap, 11-12 yrs difference? So 6-7? Cos if so, that is an ENORMOUS responsibility for a teenage boy to bear. Alternatively, I guess he could've just meant he was distracted by the everyday perils of being a moody hormonal adolescent, so maybe we're still none the wiser!

yeah he was vague about that, so it could be that but it could also not be. i keep going back and forth honestly because kant doesn’t act as much like babe’s father as you would assume someone who has been raising babe since he was a child would, but at the same time, like you said, kant would have been just a kid at the time, so maybe he never took on that father role in that way and just leaned on being his brother. kant also says their parents died young, and the lack of pictures of them all together makes me think he and babe must have been significantly younger when they passed (ie not old enough for it to make sense to have taken a family photo with first and ken to make it look more recent). not to mention that neither kant or babe seem all that grief stricken, which you would assume either of them would be struggling more with that loss if it had happened within the last couple years, or at the very least it would be brought up more between them. and yeah, since kant is 29 and babe is at oldest 18, that means there’s an at least 11 year age gap, so if their parents died when kant was like fresh out of high school, he would have been just a kid having to raise a young child, which is fucking heartbreaking to think about.

Seize The Grey pulls off a gate-to-wire upset in the Preakness!

Mystik Dan couldn't reel in the big grey front runner, but was able to hold off Catching Freedom to get second.

It was a great moment for jockey Jaime Torres who was making his first ever ride in a Triple Crown race, for D Wayne Lukas who became the oldest trainer to win a Triple Crown race at 88 yrs old, for the My Racehorse group who had 100s of micro share owners celebrating their win, and for his sire – the late, great Arrogate.

Arrogate only sired 3 crops before dying at the young age of 7 due to a neurological illness, but from those 3 groups we got 2022 Kentucky Oaks winner Secret Oath, 2023 Belmont & Travers winner Arcangelo, and now 2024 Preakness winner Seize The Grey.

I'm sad we wont have a Triple Crown on the line, but this was still a pretty great Preakness.

It's one am 💀 but ToA hc that Will and his siblings turn into such children whenever Apollo visits

Apollo's aggressively affectionate attitude just heals everyone's inner child like he is so so clingy, and it eventually just transfers over 😭

Like Will might be 16 but he will straight up crawl onto Apollo's lap like he's a 7 yr old because he never got to enjoy his childhood and neither did the rest of the cabin

Kayla's 13 but will always ask to climb onto her father's shoulders bc she never got the chance to when she was younger

And if Austin ever ends up napping near/with Apollo best believe he's latching onto him like a koala

(The newer Apollo kids eventually do the same)

Apollo will never turn down his children's affection bc he knows that (like a majority of his kids), there will come a time when he can no longer embrace them

(Also yk that one line in ToA where Apollo says that he just wants to wrap his kids up in blankets and give them hot chocolate bc they're literal babies? He definitely ends up doing exactly that and the cabin enjoys every second of it)
