Regardless if Eris marries Nesta out of ambition or love, one thing remains the same: He doesn't push her to have sex with him or get pregnant. He's not a saint, but he's decent enough to prefer when a woman actually WANTS him before sleeping with her.

Nesta was raised to see children as another duty to fulfill once she married, and after Nyx's birth, she has some heavy feelings about pregnancy, and she tells Eris that much. He respects it and agrees to wait until she's ready, until she genuinely wants to be a mother. When they sleep together, they both take precautions and make sure to not take risks.

Eris has no problem arguing with Beron if the man tries to pressure Nesta into giving them an heir, making it one of the few times he actually fights his father back. And that's the first time Nesta imagines herself having kids with him because seeing him standing up like that for her sake made her feel things

If they get married out of love, this process is even smoother because they just enjoy their time together by going into a long romantic honeymoon, away from everything. Eris has brothers after him, so it's not like he needs to conceive a child urgently, and Nesta always wanted to see the world first. It's only years after their marriage that they finally take that step, because Nesta begins to imagine her own family with Eris really often and the man is downright having a baby fever because of Elucien's kids.

The moment they start trying, they barely take breaks from it. They take this matter very seriously. Nesta falls pregnant within the month and gives birth to twin daughters.

I know why Cas says he cared about Sam because of Dean but I don’t get why he says it about Jack? I feel like his relationship with Jack was fairly separate from Dean

I personally don’t view Cas’s statement as that literal. To me, it means less that he cared about Jack because of Dean, and more that caring about one person gave him the courage to keep opening himself up.

Love, after all, spreads like a contagion. It grows, expanding outward like a stone dropped in water, rippling further and further. Dean wasn’t the start of Cas caring about things; Cas had his own convictions and compassion long before that.

But Dean was a turning point. He became family, a kind of structural support Cas could grow with (and change with, and mess up with, and come back to against all the odds). Through that foundation, it became possible for Cas to live and love more fully: Sam, Bobby, other angels, Claire, Mary, Jack, the AU hunters, Rowena, and humanity itself.

im looking thru the Swerve tag and like where the actual fuck is the Swervefire. I’m genuinely so baffled by the fact that I’ve seen so little of it because its like. Even the fuckin comic is like “you two are bizarrely similar” and they became friends like IMMEDIATELY. Even in the realist-ending Swerve is like “damn it did anyone get Misfire’s number i forgot to do that!”

Like, the comic all but literally states “yeah theyd totally get together”. Yet I hardly see any art of it? It’s so baffling to me, they’re adorable together like seriously. Misfire bringing Swerve into the Scavs as an honorary member. Nickel ends up scolding them all when she returns to wherever the fuck on the ship they stay to see Swerve COVERED in like. Painted graffiti stuff (which doesn’t even look bad surprisingly, but still shes a hardcore mama bird and doesnt want them to get into trouble with Magnus lmao). Grimlock ends up becoming a lil’ bit of a bouncer at Swerve’s (ofc he’s gonna become fond of someone so close to his own best buddies) because he’s a tad protective. He lets out the SCARIEST growls if someone starts being a jackass to Swerve.

They’d both end up with the funny blasters too I reckon. They suck soooo bad. They laugh their asses off at how absolutely horrendous they are at the in-ship training range. They’re just really silly together. I need more people to see this I’m so desperate.

Meet the dwarf planet, Makemake! He's a resident of the Kuiper Belt ruled by Prince Pluto and Princess Eris, and is actually a friend of theirs.

Makemake was discovered back in 31 March 2005. In honour of of the fact that it was discovered just a few days past Easter, his nickname became "Easterbunny"!

@doveywovy's latest post [link] reminded me of (one of) my own mermaid AU(s) so I thought I'd write it up now. Absolutely adore their writing.

Tobirama is a mermaid kept in captivity.

He was rescued by Hashirama when he was very young, and has formed a sort of familial attachment. He is the only one Tobirama will not try to drown.

Tobirama's albinism as well as injuries sustained before capture means he's unable to be released into the wild. Thankfully Hashirama's friend, Madara has a marine facility Tobirama can be kept in.

One day, Madara's college-aged little brother comes to visit. Of course, he didn't tell anyone he was stopping by and took various "caution" signs as light suggestions. Leading to him peering over the edge of Tobirama's pool.

Of course he ends up pulled in.

Tobirama manages to drag him to the bottom of the water - using his greater mass to bring him under. With no one around, this may be his first actual human kill.

Izuna's instincts take over. Not his survival instincts or even fear - his instincts as a bratty and scrappy little brother used to being tackled and roughhoused with.

He elbows Tobirama right in the gills.

Then, he curls up at the bottom of the pool and extends his legs to launch himself towards the surface.

Izuna, grew up with a pool in his backyard, a lakeside vacation home, and trained hard enough to be captain of his university's swim team. Still, he would've never escaped if Tobirama hadn't become enraptured with his figure swimming towards the light with his loose hair trailing behind him.

Yeah, he's in love.

Izuna may be small, but he can fight, is beautiful, and is a much more graceful swimmer than the other humans.

Madara chews out Izuna for being so reckless, of course. And for the first part of his visit, they steer clear of even the room Tobirama's enclosure is in.

Eventually, Madara has to go check in. Tobirama's leaving large portions of food uneaten. He's also being downright loud - coming up to the surface of the water several times a day to cry out. Hashirama is starting to get worried.

Madara has some undefined veterinary experience so agrees to take a look, and Izuna trails behind him out of boredom. Which leads to Tobirama being even louder and actually going to the pool's edge when they arrive. He usually lurks under the surface when he sees Madara or anyone new.

Eventually everyone catches on that he's courting the younger Uchiha.

He tries giving Izuna portions of his food and also to convince him to get into the water. He even snaps at Hashirama if he thinks he's too close or being too friendly.

Madara warns that he's still a wild animal and it's no less dangerous. Izuna, who is again, a little shit, only wants to do it more now that he's been told not to. So he ends up slipping in for a dip.

Tobirama doesn't try to drown him again, but begins swimming around him - slowed due to his injury. Izuna decides that he'll practice some synchronized swimming (he was NOT paying attention when his brother described mer courting rituals). Tobirama is thrilled that his affections were returned. Someone has to let Izuna know that they're pretty much married in mer terms.

However, Izuna was only visiting for a few months while mers mate for life. He's also your typical carefree young-adult with a promising career. While Izuna is off doing sports anime shenanigans, Tobirama is refusing food and damaging his own scales.

On the flip-side, when he does visit, he does things like hand-feed Tobirama bites of his sushi and run his hands over his scales. They also still swim together (to Madara's dismay).

Just Admit It- Part 1

I've been playing around with possible friendship dynamics of the Beast Council for fun!! I love imagining what kind of childhood they could have in the Forgotten Land all together.

What if Carol and Sillydillo are the fun-loving extroverts? Leon is the introverted one who's been smitten by Carol for a really really long time but he's too shy about it? And Gori is the friend who is an excellent observer and will bluntly tell you what he thinks (and maybe has a tendency to get grumpy when things aren't easily going his way).

Somewhat of a prequel to this other doodle comic about Leon and Carol- everyone here is still a kid ^_^

so i finished my sketchbook and started a new one. Except it isn't technically a sketchbook and is actually a herbarium so it has a little box thing with the common & scientific name, date, location, and notes so i went full science for some reason???

all these notes are written like. semi-diagetically as if someone actually stumbled upon the actual genuine monster-species of Ithacan Naga(s) and took notes.

AND the scientific name thing led me to a small rabbit hole of the full scientific classification/taxonomy for them. And i have no idea if the taxonomy is correct. at all. read that if you want.

anyway, notes and then some if you can't read my handwriting ->

Common Name: (Ithacan) Naga Scientific Name: Plumae ithacae Location Found: Ithaca/Kephalonia & the surrounding seas/underwater cliffs -> Eggs are laid & Juveniles mainly live on land (both in caves); juveniles start mainly living in the water when most of their marine/sea feathers grow in. Mature nagas live both in caves in the sea and land; ideally caves connecting into the sea Memorable Notes: > Royal/Lead lineage is god touched -> Has flight feathers and wings! > Social/Pack Species > Feather patterns & colors vary (liken to shrikes, owls, and other bird species found on Ithaca/Kephalonia) > Species does brumate, despite being aquatic > Omnivorous > Some have siren-like powers and/or instruments?
