Help My Amnesty Fund Raising Activity

I have been training on the roads of the Dundee & Angus area since November 2022. I have been alternating between cycling, running, walking to improve stamina and strength. I have been doing this in the hope of completing a high altitude endurance course called Mont Blanc in 2024.

My odometer readings recently passed 800km.

Present odometer totals:

- 116 activities

- 858km covered

- 81hrs of activity

- 7698 meters of elevation gain

The 1000km mark will be reached in approximately 15 more activities. This will be within July or early August 2023.

This reached figure has inspired me to set a further charity target of 1000km as a goal. It occurred to me I could be raising a little more money for the work Amnesty International do during my training for the 2024 activity by setting 1000km as a target distance amount. I feel it would be a missed opportunity to let such a milestone of kilometres go by without trying to gain something charitable from them.

why cycle, run, walk, 100s of kilometres if not for a charitable purpose?

I do not have an actual sum request in mind. I will leave it at your discretion to value the assistance you can afford to give Team Amnesty for having reached a total coverage of 1000km.

any charitable amount helps Amnesty International achieve for they being victimised via hostile tyrannical authority.
