You know I've been thinking, like. Since the detco movies aren't canon. They should totally do a silly (actually really serious and interesting) one where the culprit actually IS a real monster a la some scooby doo movies, you know? And then let the franchise go on as normal but now we know how the characters would respond to having ghosts in their soup.

In this rewrite the Radio Demon is his show host name, and "Mister Thirteen" is what the denizens of Hell call him
Looks like a Black Cat, is actually a black werewolf

Okay super very important hypothetical  question.....
If you could give someone therianthropy (or any kinda alterhuman identity) via a bite the way a werewolf would... Would you? And what would the rules be for it?  Like say your a labradore therian and you bite someone do they become a labradore therian or could they became like a cat therian... And would you turn loads of people or only a specific few or no one? And would they get the same like 'sytoms' as you expirence or would it be completely different like if you have species dysphoria would they expirence dysphoria, or if you only get dream shifts would they only get dream shifts or would it be a completely different expirence specific to the person?
Pleas tell me what you think! I'm so curious about how people think it would work!

Okay friendo, I saw the werewolf Nolan and no teeth. Buuut, what would the puppy man think if Makarov suddenly bit Him?
It’s a full body reaction, Andrei completely freezes, his limbs acting like they’ve turned to stone.
Makarov bit him back? That’s basically marriage in Nolan’s mind, he’s even more clingy than usual.
Begs Vladimir to do it again when the marks start to fade, Vladimir regrets ever doing it in the first place (he doesn’t)

AATC Meet the Wolfman is insane from Dave's perspective
It starts out with Alvin having nightmares about their new weird ass neighbor Lawrence Talbot because he watches too many monster movies a few of his nightmares are about a guy he's literally friends with (cause last movie your kids befriended Frankenstein's monster).
He claims the new neighbor is a werewolf. He has a tendency to claim everyone is secretly a monster though so you ignore him. He scares the fuck out of his brothers and the Chipettes. Your kids also accidentally destroyed the neighbors garden and said neighbor swings by to shake you around by the shoulders and acts generally off putting. He at one point just appears from the fucking bushes like a reverse homer Simpsons meme. Alvin accidentally blows up the school which apparently has an insurance plan just for him and the accidents he causes and he's causing the principal to retire early. You finally put your foot down because Alvin is doing too much rn. Also Theodore is being bullied and the adults are being useless.
Your sons take over his spot in the school play because instead of actually helping Theodore with counseling to gain some self confidence or confronting his bully or whatever (like punishing him, having a chat about his homelife/telling his parents about his behavior or saying he can't participate in the play of he keeps acting mean- like they literally do nothing) and Theodore is just sucking so hard at the play and everyone is trying so hard to help him. Eventually you help him enough that he remembers his lines and he gets a minor confidence boost- so that's good. He decides to confront something that's been scaring him so double good today went great -but he gets attacked by a dog (I personally would've called animal control and taken my kid to the doctor straight away for a rabies vaccination) and everyone is shaken up because yeah that's genuinely horrifying. He's crying (and yeah no that's genuinely scary)
The next day your Theodore is suddenly a fucking dick and no longer a vegetarian? You have no clue why. Alvin is still fucking around. You during this time somehow don't notice your kid is turning into a werewolf every night- like somehow you don't notice the scratches everywhere of that there's dog crap on the floor. You some how don't notice anything. I have no idea how you didn't notice. Like no clue. Alvin has seemingly broken your neighbor's cane by accident and you want him to apologize to him-but he seems genuinely terrified of him/seems really desperate to keep his minor role in the school play so you decide 'hey I'll talk to him' after all your neighbor Lowkey acts a bit insane. So you go to your neighbors house and he tells you about his family history as you try to apologize on your kids behalf
He starts talking about his grandparents and father were killed by angry villagers who used silver bullets on them and how those bullets got fashioned into that cane that's now broken and your just like 'that's weird. Why were they so mad at your family' then your neighbor turns into a werewolf
You run for your life but you realize you've accidentally led them to your kids school and knock yourself out in the dumbest way possible. You wake up and instantly go 'i have to save my kids' only to arrive at the school and everything is fine? Also the werewolf that was gonna kill you is now a normal guy and the new principal. They are having a party.
(Also from Lawrence's perspective he just woke up at a children's school he was going to work at- after terrorizing the students and it turns out he accidentally previously had turned one of said students into a werewolf- I don't think he was aware of what he did- and is cured through the power of 'deus ex machina')
Dave dealt with Alvin and the School's BS and Theodore turned into a werewolf multiple times without him noticing it despite the fact it happened every night and didn't notice his Alvin and Simon were on a mission to save him (and were told they had to kill their brother to do so- like your kids just got told to murder someone) and you were never made aware that any of this was happening-and the werewolf that was previously gonna murder him ended up being the new school principal because your kid stressed out the original principal so hard she quit.
He was somehow locked out the loop this whole time. Also Theodore wasn't made aware of his curse ever.

Werewolf Ray, part 3
[part 1] [part 2]
Vincent stays with the wolf all night. Wild animal rescuers are called, and reassure them they will be there soon, so Vincent waits. And waits. The night wears on around them, the soft swish of movement in the water, the wind in the trees mingling with the crackle of radios and leather boots on stone.
Some of the gendarmes stay with them, hovering awkwardly nearby while he sits with the wolf. His backside grows numb from sitting on the stone floor, and he slowly wilts with tiredness as his sleeplessness catches up with him.
The wolf is exhausted too. He pants heavily and yawns, clearly distressed and restless, though for some bizarre reason he stays put. Vincent sits as close to him as he dares, edging closer as the night wears on, certain by now that the creature is nothing but gentle.
Up close, it's clear that the wolf is an older one. His fur is thinner than he would have expected, greyer and more ragged. Vincent keeps petting him, since he doesn't seem to mind. It sends a strange thrill to him, to be able to connect with a wild creature like this. It amazes him.
Feeling brave and a little silly, he pats his thigh.
"You can rest here if you like."
The wolf gives him a look that he can only describe as utterly scandalised. It surprises him so much that he bursts out laughing.
"You don't have to! My goodness, you are strange. And clever!"
He grins and ruffles the fur at the back of the wolf's neck, and the wolf makes a tired grumbling noise that doesn't actually sound particularly upset.
When the sky begins to lighten, not quite yet to gold but to the gray of pre-dawn, the wolf abruptly stands, shaking himself out. He looks at Vincent, lets out a long sigh, then bumps his head gently against Vincent's shoulder.
"What is it, my friend? Surely help will be here soon. Are you impatient? Oh - or perhaps you are hungry?"
The wolf huffs again, then begins limping away. Once he's gone a few steps, he turns around and whines.
Vincent can only stare.
"You... want me to follow you?"
The wolf turns back around and continues its slow, painful progression forward.
"Your Holiness, we should keep it contained-"
"He's not going anywhere fast. He seems to be heading further inwards - we can keep track of him easily enough."
In all honesty, Vincent is curious now. He gets to his feet with a groan, taking a moment to stretch out stiff, sore limbs, and-
And the wolf waits for him.
This is too strange. This animal seems too wise, too alert to the language and movements of the people around him. Vincent follows and the wolf leads, padding along the paths that lead back to the Casa Santa Marta.
"You know your way around?" says Vincent.
The wolf gives him a look of such profound, withering exhaustion that Vincent laughs again, something with a hysterical edge to it because he cannot believe the strangeness of it all.
He is led up the front steps, and then brought around the back of the lobby, where there is a small storeroom. The wolf paws at the door, then looks expectantly at Vincent.
Vincent, feeling an immense sort of gravity to the action, opens the door for him, then follows the wolf inside.
The storeroom is a long, narrow room with neatly arranged shelves of cleaning and repair implements, spare cables, and various other bits and pieces. The wolf staggers to the back, then collapses suddenly, whimpering in pain. Vincent rushes to his side, watching in horror as the poor creature begins to struggle - and then change.

can vamp Tim give Jason a blood transfusion if needed? 🤔
in your vamp/wer verse I mean
Oh, that's an interesting question! In my vampire!Tim/werewolf!Jason verse and the accompanying fic, Tim drinks almost exclusively off of Jason because a) Jason loves it and b) Tim would near-starve himself otherwise :') (and he kind of does anyway, Jason has to bully him into feeding). So the only blood inside Tim at any given moment is usually Jason's original blood anyway. But can Tim give that blood back in an emergency?
tldr: yes, under certain conditions. lol
My reply was getting long because this kind of speculating is my favorite game to play, so if you're curious about what those conditions are and how I reached that conclusion, more details are under the cut:
In this verse, Jason is the kind of werewolf who doesn't have a lot of control/retained personality when he shifts, but he DOES have a lot of meta powers. (As a treat for becoming a mindless, violent monster lol ur welcome Jay)
One of those powers includes rapid healing ala deadpool/wolverine (unless the wound is inflicted by silver, ancestral or otherwise) so it would be remarkably difficult for Jason to reach the point where he even needs a blood transfusion. But let's consider that worst case scenario, in which Jason has suffered enough silver-inflicted wounds that his healing factor breaks and he needs blood, yesterday. Wuh oh.
Tim is the #1 candidate to consider for a Jason blood transfusion because that's his gamer fuel of choice - but for Tim to be a viable donor, it would depend on the length of time it's been since Tim drank from Jason, and how much. They're on a time limit because Tim's body doesn't replenish blood on its own, he has to steal it.
Brace yourself for the suspect use of rough science facts in the middle of supernatural fantasy speculation about vampire/werewolf AUs, lmao
So supposing Jason has about 12 pints/5.7 L of blood in total, he could lose maybe 5 pints/2.4 L of blood at a time without dying (and that's a high estimate, he'd start going into shock way before that lmao), AND it would take him weeks to restore that blood - if he were human.
Luckily for Tim, he can steal quite a bit from Jason without killing him because of the handy dandy werewolf healing factor that restores Jason's blood almost as fast as Tim's dusty ass can absorb it. (Tim's veins @ Jason's blood: 𝔪𝔬𝔦𝔰𝔱𝔲𝔯𝔦𝔷𝔢 𝔪𝔢). Unluckily for Tim (and Jason), Tim has about a zillion hangups over drinking that much all at once. Aw.
A brief google search tells me that in an average human body, red blood cells live about 120 days. For simplicity, we'll say that Tim being a vampire and having weird vampire powers counteracts Jason being a werewolf and his blood having weird werewolf properties - so when Tim is full (and I mean full) of Jason's blood, he's good for somewhere just under that 120 days.
The blood isn't immediately starving in Tim's stupid vampire body because it's strong, sexy werewolf blood; it stays hydrated for a million years and could thrive like a dandelion in a crack in the sidewalk, let alone a perfectly good, albeit abandoned, vascular system. (Jason's blood @ Tim's veins: 𝒾𝓉'𝓈 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝑒 𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓁 𝑒𝓈𝓉𝒶𝓉𝑒)
That being said, Tim starts getting very hungry near the end of that time frame as the blood is used/dies, and that time frame shrinks every time he bleeds (which is often, RIP Tim). But he'd still have a solid month or so of healthy, viable Jason blood pumping through his undead ticker. (unless Tim gets REALLY beat up lol, which is not unlikely OTL)
SO all this to say: can Tim give it back?
I would say yes, IF Tim has fed recently, and he's fed A LOT. Otherwise, he just straight up might not have the blood to give anymore because his stupid husk of a body already used it all.
If he tried to give Jason blood around the time he's getting hungry again, when Jason's blood is on it's last legs after sustaining an active vampire without reinforcements for weeks to months, it wouldn't be as effective as a blood transfusion from someone who can make their own blood and therefore has a fresher supply.
tldr (again lol); Tim could become a blood donor for Jason, but only once he's regularly letting himself drink from Jason, and drinking until he's full.
