What is an otherfix?

An otherfix is an alterhuman/nonhumans/alterbeing/otherhuman whose identity is influenced in some way by a hyperfixation.

Almost any alterhuman(or nonhumans,ect) can be otherfix.

Example: a fictionkin involontarily identifies as a creeper (hostile mob in Minecraft) because he has a hyperfixation in the Minecraft game.The creeper is therefore his fictiotype and his fixtype.

An animalkith feel a huge connection with beetles because he has a hyperfixation on this animal. So he is a otherfix beetlekith.

An otherlink voluntarily chooses to identify as a kitsune, because it helps him live with his hyperfixation on this.

ok so uhh I've been doing some research a bit and I think after 3 years of awakening as an alterhuman I've FINALLY figured it out,

I am:

species flux! I fluctuate between human, canine, feline, and vampire, Which also fluctuates between a kin and a hearttype! I usually fluctuate in little chunks like for a while I'll feel almost entirely human and then I'll hop over to

Otherfix! When I got into mcr I became MEGA obsessed with vampires due to the bands infamous relation with them, while I'm not hyperfixated on vampires specifically my hyperfixation on American rock band my chemical romance led my me to become a vampirekin idk how to explain it lmao

Caninekin! by canine I don't just mean dogs, I also mean werewolf and kemonomimi! Basically I feel like I'm both a kin and an otherheart (bc yk species flux) for most (most, not all) canine related creatures :)

Felinekin! I feel like this kin has been laying low for quite a while, but it's still there I hope! Pretty much the same thing as my caninekin experience but with felines

Kinsidering! I am also kinsidering angelkin :)

otherlink - is mostly voluntary (sometimes involuntary) called a linktype is to identify as an animal, mystical being or fictional charater for various reasons

copinglink - can be voluntary or involuntary is a linktype to cope with things like mental health ect

supportlink - similar to coping formed to help traits or behaviours

paroulink - formed as a coping mechanism as a disconnect from humanity

funlink - is a voluntary linktype and is chosen for fun

aeslink - similar to funlink but for aesthetic reasons

fictionlink - otherlinks for fictional characters

otherfix - a hyperfixation becoming a linktype

otherspin - a hyperfixation becoming a linktypw

dropping a linktype

It is possible to drop a linktype if one does not need or want it anymore. There are a few reasons an otherlinker might drop a linktype, from it causing harm to personal preference. The process itself can range from easy affirmations to complex procedures.

I know that most of you care about animal rights, that's why I'm asking for your help, for our cousins, the theriform animals.

I just came across some horrific news... Theriforms wolves in a national park in Switzerland are going to be slaughtered. Why? Just because they're wolves. Although measures to protect livestock animals from the appetite of wolves are bearing fruit, the belief that the existence of these canids is harmful to humans remains in people's minds...

Luckily, I found a petition to stop this massacre.

As I write to you, there are 37 927 signatures, and the goal is 50,000. There is still hope!
