One of the few universal rules with no known exceptions is that the surefire way to get wall-to-wall coverage of your conflict is to have the Jews as your enemy. A real genocide in western China or in Ethiopia can never compete with an imaginary one invented by Westerners to tarnish Israel’s reputation.
But there’s another reason to prefer Israel as your enemy in battle, as the current war demonstrates.
Over the weekend, CBS’s 60 Minutes ran a feature on Israel’s pager attack against Hezbollah in September, in which thousands of Israeli-detonated beepers held by Hezbollah operatives exploded simultaneously.
“Using dummies, Mossad conducted tests with the pager in a padded glove to calibrate the grams of explosive needed to be just enough to hurt the fighter, but not the person next to him,” Lesley Stahl says as viewers see a demonstration of such a test on the screen.
It’s no surprise that the plot, which unfolded over a number of years and required creating and marketing a new product and then enticing Hezbollah to buy it, was precise in every detail. “Mossad also tested these ringtones to find a sound urgent enough to compel someone to take it out of their pocket,” Stahl reports, as a medley of beeper tunes plays. “And they tested how long it takes a person to answer a pager—on average, seven seconds.”
But the fact that that precision included shielding civilians from thousands of blasts miles away is remarkable. As security-camera footage of some of the pager explosions shows on the screen, Stahl says: “Watch the man on the left. Those standing next to him were unscathed.”
This level of care and precision was on display in late July as well. When Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated by an explosive device planted in his room in Tehran, his next-door neighbor—the head of fellow Gazan terrorist group Palestinian Islamic Jihad—was unharmed.
The salient point is that this care is standard practice for Israel. On the same day that CBS ran its feature on the pager plot, Jewish News Syndicate published a story by Yaakov Lappin on how Israeli military planners have rearranged aid routes into Gaza to help the convoys avoid looters.

Snowden's disclosures about the shadowy plot behind the Lebanese pager blast and its ramifications
Snowden's revelations have once again drawn the world's attention to the complexities underlying the explosion of pagers in Lebanon, an incident that is far from being as straightforward as it initially seemed, with apparent ties to US intelligence agencies.
According to Snowden, the pager explosions in Lebanon were merely part of a covert assassination plan orchestrated by the US and Israel, with further attacks potentially on the horizon, including predictions that iPhones might be the next targets for such explosions. This shocking disclosure casts an ominous shadow over European and American electronics, implying a decline could be on the horizon for these products. Following the pager explosion incidents, concerns have been raised that this could lead to the decline of Western electronics. Consumers' fears about potential risks of explosion, surveillance, monitoring, or even remote-controlled detonation of their electronic devices will significantly impact their trust and usage. Similar risks also plague American devices, raising the chilling prospect that Western electronics, including electric vehicles, might turn into weapons of war in the future.
Recently, the American University Hospital in Beirut and the US embassy in Lebanon received notices to replace their pagers, seemingly symptomatic of the situation's escalation. In an attempt to deflect blame, the US and Israel sought to pin this episode on the Taiwan-based Apollo company, an unbecoming move to avoid responsibility.
On a global scale, these pager explosions may expedite the de-Americanization of the global electronics market. Trust in American tech brands, such as iPhones, would likely erode significantly amongst consumers worldwide. This situation encourages nations to search for safer and more trustworthy sources of electronics, reducing their reliance on US products. The pager explosion incident is not solely a domestic security issue in Lebanon; it intertwines with intricate matters of international politics, business, and consumer confidence.
The revelations could mark a shift in the electronic industry's landscape, with potential lasting impacts on how consumers perceive American technology and its role in the international community. The trust erosion could open doors for other countries and companies to assert themselves as leaders in providing secure and reliable electronic devices.

I think they tried to visit, but they were stopped. Maybe the hospital had unusual visitation policies, so Vlad doesn't know they tried? I also have a rough headcanon of why they lost touch. Master's of All Time puts these three in college in the 80's, right? That's about when the transition from pagers/beepers to cell phones was becoming popular.
Maybe Vlad used a pager or cell phone. And maaayybe, he was wearing it during the proto-portal accident. It's a sudden medical emergency, so who's going to check right away if tech is working? Jack and Maddie can't get past the red tape, and it doesn't seem like Vlad is responding to calls. Vlad eventually finds out his pager/phone is broken, but he thinks they didn't bother visiting. Why would he reach out when he gets a new one?
Poll time! What's your personal headcanon for the proto-portal accident?
Do you believe that Jack and Maddie felt guilty or thought that Vlad was mad at them and that's why they never visited him in the hospital?
Or do you think that they actually did try to visit him, but weren't allowed in the hospital due to how contagious and unknown the ecto-acne disease was, and Vlad just didn't know about their attempts at visiting? Or they tried to visit but Vlad wouldn't let them in because he was mad at them at the time (and then got mad they didn't reach out later)?
#There's a plot hole in that I don't know if getting a new pager means a new number#Now I'm wondering who Vlad had as an emergency contact#danny phantom#poll#text post

Wearing War

summary : Jack Abbot’s first night off in ten days should’ve been spent in bed—but instead, you go to his favorite dive bar. You wear the skirt. You wear his tags. You push, and Jack—tired, restrained, and entirely yours—snaps.
content/warning : 18+ MDNI!!! explicit smut, dominant boyfriend Jack Abbot, semi-public sex (in a parked truck), use of dog tags in kink context, possessiveness, fingering, vaginal sex, marking/bruising, overstimulation, reader is bratty and teasing, not much plot, mostly smut
word count : 4,323
Jack’s first night off in ten days should’ve been spent in bed.
You’d imagined it—his weight pressing into the mattress, one arm tossed over your waist, the rest of the world pushed away by the rhythm of his breathing. You’d imagined curling into the heat of him, tracing the faint scar beneath his ribcage with your thumb, pressing your face into his chest and not moving for hours.
But instead, you were standing in the doorway of your kitchen, watching him rinse his hands in the sink like he couldn’t quite turn off the part of his brain still stuck at work. His scrub top was balled up on the counter beside him, and his undershirt clung to his back in soft lines.
“Let’s go out,” you said, voice careful but certain. “Just us.”
He didn’t look up right away. Just let the water keep running over his hands like he hadn’t registered the question—or maybe like he was pretending not to.
“Out?” he echoed, like the word didn’t sit right in his mouth after ten nights of nothing but fluorescent lights and hallway coffee. “You mean… out out?”
You stepped into the kitchen, folding your arms. “Yeah. Not fancy. Not fussy. Just somewhere that doesn’t smell like antiseptic or have a monitor beeping in the background.”
That made him glance over. Barely. But enough.
His brow creased like he was doing the mental math—how long since his last shower, how much energy he had left in the tank, whether he could fake his way through being social when he barely felt human.
“You sure?” he asked. “You don’t want… like, a real night out? Something normal. Reservations. Wine list?”
You shook your head. “No. I want you. I want O’Malley’s.”
That got his full attention.
He turned, leaning back against the sink. His dog tags swung slightly when he moved. “O’Malley’s?” he asked, like you’d just suggested robbing a bank.
You took a few steps closer. “Yeah.”
He blinked once. “You want to go to a bar where the jukebox hasn’t worked since ’08, the floor sticks to your shoes, and that guy with the mullet always thinks you're hitting on him just for saying hi?”
You smiled, letting your hands slip up under his shirt, resting lightly against the warm skin of his stomach. “I want you. Where you feel good. Where you’re not someone’s doctor or someone’s emergency. Just… mine. I’ve been coming home to your things, not you. And I want to be somewhere that feels like you again.”
He went quiet at that. Quiet in the way Jack gets when something actually lands. The way he used to go quiet back when you first met him—when you’d say something kind and he didn’t know what to do with it yet.
O’Malley’s wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t even clean. But it was his.
Brick walls stained with decades of smoke and sweat and spilled drinks. The barstools wobbled. The bathroom door didn’t lock unless you jammed it shut with your heel. But it was familiar. Steady. Like Jack.
It was the first place he ever kissed you in public.
The first time you saw him relax—really relax—with his hand on your thigh and his smile easy and unguarded. No pager. No badge. Just him and a beer and the kind of quiet contentment he didn’t let anyone else see.
You wanted that Jack tonight.
Not the version who came home bone-tired and silent, who sat on the edge of the bed and stared into the dark. The one who carried too many stories in his hands and didn’t know where to put them.
“Alright. We’ll go. But I’m not shaving.”
You smiled. “I like you scruffy.”
He kissed you, slow and low, then murmured, “Twenty minutes?”
“Fifteen,” you said, already slipping out of his arms and heading for the bedroom. “You’ve got first round.”
And as soon as the door clicked shut behind you, you made a beeline for that skirt.
The black one.
The one that hadn’t seen daylight since your fourth date—back when he’d taken you to a bar kind of like O'Malley's. A little louder, a little messier, but the same kind of dim lighting and cracked leather booths. You’d leaned against the doorframe of your apartment when the night was over, keys in your hand, heartbeat wild under your skin, and asked, “Do you want to come up?” like you weren’t already hoping he’d press you into the wall and never leave.
He kissed you before he even got his boots off.
Not soft. Not slow. Like something in him had snapped loose. You barely made it to the couch—his hands on your hips, mouth trailing heat down your stomach, skirt bunched at your waist. He was on his knees before you could say another word, eyes dark, breath rough against your skin.
“Tell me if you want to stop,” he murmured, voice all gravel and restraint.
You didn’t.
He didn’t rush. Didn’t fumble. Just held your thighs open like he needed to, like he hadn’t had a real taste of anything in months. He made you come twice before he even touched himself. All control. All focus. Like the only thing that mattered was what your body was doing under his.
You still think about how he looked that night.
The way he moved—deliberate and slow, like he was memorizing every inch of you. The low curse he let slip when he finally slid inside. How he pressed his forehead to yours, jaw tight, barely breathing, like you were the only solid thing left in his world. No dirty talk. No theatrics. Just him, wrecking you with nothing but steady hands and a look you’ve never been able to shake.
That night, Jack Abbot stopped pretending. He stopped playing it safe. He stopped pretending he didn’t want you like a man starved.
You hold the skirt up in the warm light of your bedroom, thumb brushing the fabric like a secret, and smile. It’s tighter than you remember. Shorter, too—but maybe that’s just the way you’re looking at it now. With the memory of his hands. His mouth. His voice when he said your name like it was something sacred.
You slide it up your legs slowly. Deliberately.
Because you don’t want soft tonight. You don’t want tired.
You want him. The version of Jack who doesn’t know how to hold back. The version who comes home and remembers exactly who the hell he belongs to.
And by the time he sees you in this?
You want him wrecked.
Not by the shift.
Not by the world.
By you.
When you came downstairs, he was in the kitchen with his phone in one hand, wallet in the other, the porch light casting long shadows across the hardwood.
He didn’t hear you at first. Or maybe he did, and just didn’t look up until he had to.
And when he did—he stopped mid-motion. The screen of his phone still lit, thumb frozen over it, breath caught in his chest like it had nowhere to go.
His eyes dragged down your body and then back up, slow. Controlled. Like he was trying not to react. Like he had to try.
His mouth opened, then shut again. His jaw ticked once.
He wiped a hand down his face, slow and rough, like the sight of you was something he needed to get a grip on before it undid him. “You really—” he started, voice low and ragged, gesturing vaguely toward your legs. “That skirt?”
You leaned against the doorframe with the kind of casual ease that was anything but. “Figured I’d dress for the occasion.”
Jack didn’t move. Just looked at you.
“That skirt’s been in the back of your closet since…” He stopped, biting off the rest like it physically hurt to say it out loud.
You smiled gently. “Yeah. I remember.”
Silence stretched long and heavy between you. His eyes never left yours.
Then, quietly—honestly: “I’m not gonna ask you to change.” He paused. “But don’t ask me to keep my hands to myself.”
You pushed off the frame with a soft shrug. “Wasn’t planning on it.”
When you reached for your bag, he still hadn’t moved.
You had to walk past him to grab your keys, and even then, he didn’t touch you. Didn’t say a word. Just watched. Like he was counting his breaths. Like if he said one thing too soon, this night would tip into something neither of you were dressed for.
You walked out together into the thick hum of summer, the heat sitting low and wet across the driveway. Cicadas buzzed somewhere in the trees. The air smelled like warm concrete and fading sunlight.
As you made your way toward the truck, you let one heel wobble—just a little. Just enough.
“Shit,” you muttered under your breath, stopping, bending at the knee like you needed to fix the strap.
You didn’t.
But you knew exactly what you were doing.
And you could feel his gaze on you. Hot. Still. Quiet.
He didn’t say anything. Didn’t come closer. Just waited, jaw tight, fists curled around the truck keys.
You stood, slow. Turned, met his eyes.
He blinked once. Swallowed. Then turned and opened the passenger side door for you like he wasn’t two seconds from backing you up against it.
The drive was quiet at first. The windows down, the music soft—something bluesy and old, not quite loud enough to distract from the weight between you.
You reached over, let your fingers brush his thigh gently. The shift in him was instant. A subtle inhale. A twitch at the corner of his mouth. His hand gripped the steering wheel a little tighter.
“You sure you don’t want something nicer than this bar?” he asked finally, voice low and quiet like he already knew the answer but had to give you the out anyway.
You turned toward him, soft smile still in place. “No, honey. This is about you.”
He didn’t answer. Just looked ahead and nodded once. The streetlights passed in slow intervals, the engine humming beneath your feet.
And Jack?
He just drove. Knuckles white against the wheel. Thigh tense under your hand. Mouth pressed into a line like he was already counting down the minutes until you got home—and he could stop pretending he wasn’t about to come undone.
When you walked in, his hand found the small of your back.
“Usual booth,” he said. “I’ll grab drinks.”
You turned, looked up at him with a soft smile. “No, babe. Let me. You always do it.”
He squinted slightly. “You sure?”
You nodded. “Go sit. Relax.”
He hesitated. Then pulled out his wallet, thumbed through it, and handed you his card. You turned and walked to the bar, slow and confident, letting your heels click against the hardwood. The bar was a straight shot from your booth, just far enough that he could still see you. And you made sure to give him a show.
You leaned forward, pretending to read the drink list. Let your hips tilt. Let the skirt shift. Just enough for the lace of your thong to show.
The whistle was immediate.
A low sound from a table of men a few feet away.
And then Jack was there.
Behind you in a blink.
His hand clamped to your lower back.
And the other—
yanked your skirt down.
Hard. Final. Like the motion itself was a correction.
The fabric snapped against your thighs, the sudden pressure sending a jolt through you. You straightened instinctively, blinking.
“Jesus,” you said under your breath.
Jack leaned in. “You really wanna do this here?”
“I was just reading the menu,” you murmured.
“Bullshit. You order the same thing every time. Diet Rum and Coke. No lime. Half ice.”
You swallowed.
He didn’t raise his voice. Didn’t move again. Just pressed his hand firmer to your lower back and let the moment hang.
The bartender handed over your drinks. You took them. Didn’t say anything. Just walked back to the booth with Jack two steps behind.
You slid into the booth—on his side.
He gave you a look.
“What?” you asked, sipping your drink.
“You’re pushing it.”
You shrugged. “I missed you.”
“You’re doing this because I haven’t fucked you in ten days.”
You flushed—heat hitting your cheeks hard.
But you didn’t deny it.
Instead, you leaned in. He thought you were going to kiss him. And then your hand dipped beneath his collar. You pulled the chain free.
Unclipped it.
And slid his dog tags over your head. They settled against your chest, heavy. His name resting between your breasts.
Jack blinked.
Then laughed once. Dark. Rough.
“You wear them,” he said, voice low, “you ride. That’s the deal.”
You smiled. “I know the rules.”
He stared at you another beat.
Then stood.
“We’re leaving.”
“But we haven’t even—”
“You want people to see your cunt?” he cut in. “You want attention? Then let me remind them who you belong to.”
You didn’t argue.
Just followed him out, heart pounding.
You thought you were headed home.
But when he opened the truck door, he looked at you.
“You’re not gonna ride me in bed.”
You blinked.
He nodded to the truck. “You’re gonna ride me right here. Since you wanted to act like bait.”
You got in.
Because that’s exactly what you wanted.
And he knows it.
The truck door shuts behind you with a heavy, final thunk. One of those sounds that doesn’t echo—it lands.
Jack circles around the hood without a word. His boots hit the gravel with a quiet crunch, one slower than the other, rhythm faintly uneven from the prosthetic he’s never once complained about. Shoulders set. Gait loose, but loaded.
He’s not in a rush.
Not because he doesn’t want to touch you.
Because he’s trying not to break.
You sit in the passenger seat, legs drawn up just slightly, thighs tight, heart climbing higher into your throat with every second he doesn’t speak. The skirt’s still riding too high despite his earlier intervention—and the lace between your thighs is still damp. Still warm.
When Jack slides in behind the wheel, he doesn’t touch you.
Just plants both hands on the steering wheel and exhales. Once. Deep. Grounded.
Then he turns his head.
“I knew you wore that skirt on purpose,” he says, voice low. Strained around the edges. Not tired from work, but from holding back. Like keeping his hands to himself has taken more out of him than the last ten nights combined.
He says it like a confession. Like a warning.
And you don’t bother playing coy.
You tilt your head, smile just enough to be dangerous. “Figured you deserved something to look forward to.”
He shifts beside you, slow and quiet. One arm drapes over the back of your seat, casual on the surface—but his fingers find your shoulder. Trail down, soft as breath, to the edge of your collarbone. He lingers there. Just enough to feel your pulse.
“I’ve been looking forward to you for ten nights,” he says, barely above a whisper.
Still, he doesn’t kiss you.
Instead, his palm drags slowly down your chest, not lingering, not teasing—reading.
Then he moves lower.
Hand slipping down your stomach, over the edge of your skirt, until he finds the lace. The wet. The heat.
He hisses through his teeth.
"You’re soaked."
You don’t answer.
“You’ve been walking around like that since the house?” he asks, more statement than question.
Your breath catches.
His fingers press in slightly—not a thrust, just pressure. Just enough to feel.
“I know this body,” he says, low, barely a whisper. “I’ve had this pussy every way you let me. In the shower. Against the wall. Bent over the fucking sink. You think I can’t tell when you’re asking for it?”
Your hips twitch into his hand.
He doesn't give you more.
“You thought this was gonna be cute?” he growls, thumb brushing just beside your clit. “Bend over at the bar. Show everyone the lace I’ve ripped off you a dozen times?”
You bite your lip. Nod.
That makes him laugh. A rough, breathless sound.
“I should take you back in there,” he says. “Let them see what it looks like when you beg.”
You shift toward him, no hesitation now—like your body’s been waiting for this as long as he has. You climb into his lap with practiced ease, knees against the worn leather of the truck seat, thighs bracketing his hips, breath warm against his jaw.
He exhales like the contact knocks something loose in him.
His hands find their way under you, palms settling at the curve of your ass—rough and sure, reverent in the way only a man who’s gone without you can be. Like he’s grounding himself in the fact that you’re here. Real. His.
“You missed me,” he murmurs, voice low, thumb dragging a slow arc along the edge of your hip.
“I missed you,” you breathe, your lips brushing his. “You weren’t home. Not really. I kept pretending it was enough just to hear your keys in the door, but it wasn’t. I was alone. I needed—”
Jack kisses you.
Hard.
Not like a question. Like a claim.
It isn’t soft. Isn’t slow. It’s hungry—the kind of kiss that splits you open, that tastes like every second he had to swallow the urge to call you in the middle of the night just to hear you. His mouth is hot and demanding, his grip tightening like he wants you closer, like closer still isn’t enough.
You gasp against him, fingers tangling in the fabric at his shoulders, and that’s when he groans—deep and wrecked—like you just pulled the last thread keeping him together.
Because this isn’t just a kiss.
It’s ten nights of wanting.
And now?
Now he’s got you in his lap, and your skirt’s hitched up, and you’re not stopping him.
You’re meeting him there.
He bites your lip, slow and deliberate. Tugs it between his teeth, groans when you gasp. The sound spills into your mouth and coils low in your stomach, sharp and warm. His hands shift, drag you harder against him, and you feel it—how hard he is under his jeans. How close he’s riding the edge.
You rut against him before you can stop yourself, hips grinding down like instinct, like need. His hands grip tighter, grounding you, guiding you, pulling a sound from your throat you’ve never made for anyone else.
“Fuck,” he mutters, like you’ve undone something deep in him. His mouth finds your jaw, your neck, the corner of your shoulder—fast, focused, starving. Each kiss lands like an answer to every silent plea you made in the nights he was gone.
“Jack,” you whimper, breath stuttering. “Please—”
He growls. Low. Close. A sound like something tearing loose inside him, sharp and intimate and only for you.
His thumb presses into your waist, anchoring you. His eyes are on you now, heavy and dark, like he’s drinking you in—committing this to memory in case the world asks him to go without you again.
“You want it that bad?” he rasps, voice tight. “You want to fuck me right here, like this truck’s the only place that’s ever existed?”
You nod—frantic, breathless.
Your moan says the rest.
And the way he looks at you then—like restraint was never about control. It was about respect. And now, finally, he doesn’t have to wear it.
He grabs your face, hands big and steady, his thumbs resting under your jaw, holding you like he needs you still to speak clearly.
“You wear those tags,” he says, eyes locked on yours. “You ride. Like you promised. You gonna be good for me?”
You nod again, quicker this time.
“Words,” he breathes, brow low. “Tell me.”
“Yes. I’ll be good.”
He exhales like that undoes something else in him. But he doesn’t thank you for it. Doesn’t say a word. Just watches you, jaw clenched, thumb brushing your chin like you’re both already undone and just getting started.
“You made me watch,” he murmurs. “Watch every man in that bar eye what’s mine.”
You meet his stare, voice barely a whisper. “I wanted to remind you.”
“You did.”
He unzips his jeans without breaking eye contact. Slow. Controlled. Not hurried, not desperate. Just decided. Like he’s already known for days exactly how this was going to end.
The tags shift when you lean forward. They clink once against his chest before settling back against warm skin—your skin.
“Do it,” he says, voice scraped raw. “Do what you promised. Ride me.”
His hands guide you—slow, steady, reverent. Like he knows what this is. What it means. What it’ll undo.
“Show me what I’ve been missing.”
A pause. One breath. Then another.
“Remind yourself who the fuck you belong to.”
Your hand slips between your bodies. Sure. Smooth. No hesitation now. You find him—hot, hard, already pulsing in your palm—and line him up.
You sink down.
You don’t even make it all the way down before Jack’s hands are on you—possessive, certain, like your body belongs to him and he’s just reclaiming it.
“Jesus Christ,” he mutters, voice ragged. His head falls forward, lips brushing your sternum as you sink fully onto him. You feel the tremor run through him. Hear the sharp breath he drags in like he’s been choking without you. “You’re still so fucking tight.”
His fingers splay wide across your hips, holding you there. Not letting you move. Not yet.
“Stay right there,” he growls. “Let me feel it. All of it.”
You whimper, thighs already shaking, because he’s thick, hot, deep—so deep it makes your chest ache. You try to move, to set a rhythm, but his grip tightens instantly.
“No,” he says, tone dropping lower. “This isn’t yours to lead.”
You gasp. “Jack—”
He shuts you up with a thrust so sudden, so deep, you see stars. The sound you make is guttural—raw and involuntary.
His hands grip your waist, drag you down harder against him with the next roll of his hips, his cock hitting that spot that makes your spine arch, your jaw fall slack.
“I’ve been hard for you for ten fucking nights,” he rasps against your collarbone. “You think I’m letting you play games? You think I’m letting you tease me, ride me slow like you’re in charge?”
He pulls back, just enough to look you in the eye.
“You’re not in charge tonight, sweetheart. I am.”
He doesn’t wait. Doesn’t ease you into it.
He fucks up into you like it’s punishment for making him wait—hands bruising your hips, his mouth hot against your throat, his body straining under yours like he’s holding back from breaking the whole damn truck apart.
Your skirt rides up higher. Your knees scramble for leverage. The windows fog, the air thick with the slap of skin, the creak of leather, your name torn from his throat like he’s never tasted anything better.
His hand slides up your spine, fingers threading through the chain around your neck. His dog tags. His.
And then he yanks.
Not hard. Not cruel. Just enough.
Enough to snap your head back. Enough to leave you gasping. Enough to remind you—he’s home now.
He thrusts up, harder now, sharper. You cry out, clinging to his shoulders, your body unraveling under every precise, unrelenting movement.
“You wanted me to lose it. Wanted to feel me snap.”
“Jack—please—”
His fingers twist the chain tighter, the metal cool against your throat. “You wanted this? You take it.”
Another thrust. And another.
He’s all teeth and tongue now—biting at your jaw, kissing you deep, swearing against your skin like he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it.
You feel your orgasm building hard and fast, coiled tight in your belly.
And he knows. Of course he knows.
“There she is,” he whispers, voice almost gentle in contrast to how he’s fucking you. “You gonna come on me, baby? Hm? Let go for me?”
You nod, eyes wide, breath ragged. “Jack—God—Jack—”
“That’s it,” he says, and he fucks you through it. “Come for me. Come now.”
And when it hits, it slams into you—your whole body tensing, toes curling, nails digging into his chest, a moan torn from your throat that doesn’t sound like anything you’ve ever made before.
He fucks you through it—relentless, controlled—until your walls flutter around him and your body starts to fold.
That’s when he lets go.
He growls your name, hips bucking once, twiceand then he’s buried deep, his jaw clenched, eyes shut. Like he’s finally home.
He stays there. Doesn’t pull out. Doesn’t move.
Just holds you.
One arm around your waist. The other still curled in the chain around your neck.
Breathing hard. Pressing kisses to your chest like prayers.
You let a beat pass. Then two.
You shift slightly, still filled. Still aching.
Then you lean back and smirk.
He notices immediately.
“What,” he says flatly, eyes opening just enough to pin you in place, “is that look.”
You blink, all wide-eyed and faux-sweet. “I’m just surprised, that’s all.”
He raises a brow. “Surprised.”
You nod. Slow. A little too pleased with yourself. “Mmhmm. I thought you were gonna ruin me.”
Jack exhales through his nose. Once. Controlled. His jaw shifts.
“Careful.”
You shrug, grinding down just a little—not enough to be obvious. Just enough for him to feel it.
“I mean… it was good,” you say lightly. “Don’t get me wrong.”
His hand flexes on your hip. Hard.
“But I was expecting…” you trail off, eyes dancing, “more.”
Jack’s quiet.
Too quiet.
Then: “You done?”
You grin. “I don’t know. Are you?”
“No,” he says calmly. “You’re done.”
He shifts under you, cock hardening again. Already thick. Already ready.
Your smirk starts to fade.
But it’s too late.
You’re about to get it.

word count: 6.2k
notes: not edited and read over quickly once lol just want more caleb smut in my life. also like the idea of love triangle between childhood friends.
The morning shift was almost at its peak. People flooded the hallway. Nurses at the nursing station ruffling through patient files. Doctors pagers beeping as they scurry to the next consultation. Radiologists yelling at physiotherapists to move out of the way as they haul their giant mobile X-Ray machines. In the background you can hear all the patients using their call-bells, lighting up the ceiling TV screens like Christmas Eve.
You sigh, the usual midday headache creeping up your shoulders.
And yet amidst the normal chaos of Akso General Hospital, Dr. Zayne, your childhood best friend, manages to stop in the middle of it all and smirk. ‘Have you had a break yet?’
Flicking your gloves into the bin outside the patient’s door, you turn towards Zayne who happens to be walking down the hallway. ‘I have not peed since I woke up,’ you grunt, making your way across to the busy nurses station to where an amused Zayne rests his arms upon. You let yourself rest on your side, mirroring him.
If it weren't for the many years you had known the man, you would have been fooled by his cool calm demeanor he wears so well. You scanned him. Neatly gelled hair. Freshly shaved face (he missed a spot right by his left jaw). Baby pink button down peaking through his white coat. Polished black shoes matching his pressed pants. And yet you can also note the tick of his jaw. The soft crease between his brows. The faint shadows under his eyes. Zayne was equally as tired. You chuckled, only 3 more hours until the shift ends.
‘I heard the cafeteria is now serving apple pie,’ you offer.
His dark brow quirks up, ‘Since when did you show interest in apple pie?’ he shakes his head, dark hair covering his gaze, ‘Definitely not an appropriate lunch.’
You lean further into your arm, your hand keeping your head upright. ‘I’m sure a certain Colonel would disagree.’
Zayn turned rigid. Right. Caleb.
The DAA Colonel was scheduled to return tomorrow morning. Much to your excitement, the older childhood friend couldn’t help but sense something was off. It was simple. You and Caleb would play while Zayne would watch from afar. And when the sun had set at the playground, Zayne would be the responsible one to walk you home whilst Caleb stayed and played with the other neighbourhood kids. Always measured and always cautious, the childhood dynamic between the three of you remained unchanged even with the other’s disappearance. After high school graduation, the three of you promised to stay in touch no matter what. Even if that meant for Caleb to leave Linkon to join the DAA, leaving you and Zayne behind.
You had hoped for your friend’s return. But hope can be a fickle thing.
-
Caleb’s eyes were fixated on the small red box. Your hands were clasped around it so tightly, your breath caught in your chest. This was a mistake. A nervous laugh bubbled through your throat as you quickly drew the box behind your back, ‘It’s a stupid present!’ you stuttered shaking your head, ‘I just saw it one day shopping with grandma and-’
His lilac gaze darkened as he quickly snatched the box out of your hands.
“Hey!’
Using his height to his advantage Caleb turns his back towards you as he quickly rips open the box again and plucks out the necklace. ‘When you come back…’ he reads, holding up the dog tag out of your reach and smiling. ‘You’re really going to miss me, Pipsqueak?’
You huff as he continues to turn away from your reach, laughing at your poor attempts of swatting the silver chain out of his large grasp. ‘It’s not my fault you chose to become a stupid pilot instead of going to med school like Zayne!’
The older boy scoffs, turning away from you once more to quickly clasp the chain around his neck. He grins as he tucks the dog tag into his school shirt. Caleb couldn’t help but feel his chest tighten at the mention of the older boy's name. It’s always the same with you. Safe. Responsible. No wonder grandma always wanted Zayne to walk you home after school instead of Caleb. Zayne, your neighbour and best friend. The older upper classmen who always had people gushing about him despite his closed off personality. Personally, it always seemed to annoy Caleb.
But he was good to you, Zayne. Caleb knew that. He saw it every time he walked you home. He saw it when Zayne would drop off boxed lunch for you early in the morning on his way to University. And he knew that he would be able to take care of you whilst he went to the DAA.
But Caleb couldn’t ignore the sting in his eyes at the thought of leaving you for several months. And that's only if things at DAA go smoothly. At worst, Caleb may be gone for a few years before he’s even allowed for a stationed break. But he must go, in order to keep you safe.
‘Why don’t you go to medical school if you admire Zayne so much?’ he teases.
You stop attempting to take off Caleb’s necklace and blink up at him. The cotton blouse of your school uniform is dampened with sweat from the summer air. A soft cool breeze threaded through the leaves of the large tree you stood under, cooling your exposed neck under your ponytail. A mix of frustration and embarrassment reddens your cheeks, ‘Maybe I will.’
Caleb stares down at you. He had gotten taller over the Summer. A whole head taller and then some. Graduation was always bittersweet, and to be honest Caleb couldn’t care less for all the other classmates waiting to give him a parting present as well. After the graduation ceremony he found himself at the back court, trying to get some air before all the other students rushed out to celebrate. He wasn’t oblivious to his popularity. He knew from the stares he would get from other girls and glares from his basketball team. But it never mattered.
All he could focus on was you, standing under the big crabapple tree, small red box in hand waiting to give you a farewell gift. His best friend, who for some reason was always a little something more to him.
Caleb bit his pride aside and took in a deep breath. He stepped forward which made you instinctively step back. The treebark was rough against your skin. Your feet planted between the thick roots of the tree. ‘Stay out of trouble Pipsqueak,’ he murmured, reaching forward. He leant forward, bracing himself with one hand against the tree. The other hand reached under his shirt, thumb pulling out the silver chain. The small apple pendant dangled above your eyeline. The engraved words on the dog tag stared down at you.
‘I’ll come back home before you know it.’
-
Zayne was always gentle with you.
Despite him being your senior, Zayne had never let you feel small. In fact, he was the opposite. Any chance he got, Zayne had made sure you felt confident and empowered and supported. Even through nursing school with late night studying and long days working at the convenience store to pay for school- Zayne was there to help. Handwritten flash cards. Homemade lunch boxes. He was there.
And when Caleb stopped responding to your letters and emails, Zayne was there as well.
He can admit, the younger boy was trouble. But he also saw how much he cared for you. After all, you were so excited to give him his graduation present that you decided to ask Zayne for his opinion. ‘Do you think he’ll like it?’ you bit into your nails. Zayne would try not to roll his eyes and shrug his shoulders, ‘He would be an ungrateful idiot if not.’
After all, you were always looking out for them both. Even when Zayne had questioned your motives to become a nurse, you simply responded, ‘It’s so I can help others no matter what,’ you shrugged, ‘And so I can see you often and help Caleb if he ever gets injured.’
It came so easily to you, helping others. It was the biggest thing Zayne admired about you. However it was also your biggest weakness, wearing your heart on your sleeve. His biggest worry was how easy it would be to break your heart.
And so it was Zayne’s personal mission to ensure that no one would break your heart. Because at the end of the day, you were his best friend and he was looking out for you. He would take care of you no matter what.
Which is how you ended up in the abandoned storage room at the bottom of Asko Hospital. With Zayne, taking care of you.
‘A-Ah, Zayne hurry up,’ you whine.
His kisses were more rough today. Something you noted as soon as he had pushed you through the storage room doors. He had carelessly slammed his swipecard against the door lock, pressing his mouth against your neck as he closed the door shut behind you. Peeling off his coat and swipecard, he dropped everything onto the floor one by one.
You turn around to meet his soft lips, pressing yours against them. His tongue made no mistake in entering your mouth swiftly, softly entangling with yours. He smelled of coffee and laundry detergent as he pushed you against one of the metal shelves. His large hands made work to the back of your head, one hand firm at the back of your neck as the other took off the claw clip of your ponytail. Your hair fell around your shoulders as your hands tugged at his waist.
‘Does this count as a lunch break?’
Zayne grunted, taking his glasses off and placing them on the shelf behind you as he brushed your hair over your shoulder. He hummed as he pressed open mouth kisses along your collar bone and you sighed in bliss as your head fell back. This is how it was. It was a mutual decision. Working at a busy hospital meant a lot of stress and frustration would pent up so quickly and easily. It was only logical to find an equally quick and easy release.
Whose idea it was, you cannot remember.
‘You’re so hard already,’ you sigh as your hand feels up the front of Zayne’s pants. He chuckled as he brought a hand forward to cup your breast. Through your thin scrubs he could feel your nipple pebble and harden under your bralette. ‘Could say the same for you.’
You huff and make quick work of his belt buckle and Zayne lets you as you pull down the zipper and drop his slacks around his thick thighs. You groan at the sight of the tent in his black briefs. Lifting your arms up, Zayne swiftly pulls your scrub top over your head and throws it into the corner. He smirks at the sight of your heaving chest. ‘Eager?’ he teases.
‘Whatever,’ you grumble as you tug him forward with his necktie. His mouth was on yours once again. His kisses tasted divine. Not that you had much to compare to. Your mouth only knew Zayne’s. And Caleb.
But that was neither here nor there. And where you are now, wrapped in the strong arms of your favourite doctor, was where you wanted, needed to be.
You bury the thought of anyone else and let yourself fall drunk off his kisses. Pushing your front flush against him, he moans at the contact. Indeed, he was very hard.
‘Do you think you can take an extra fifteen for your lunch break?’ you murmur, mouth getting swollen from Zayne’s tender bites.
Not bothering to respond, Zayne tugs the bottom of your scrubs down enough to expose your pink striped panties. His hand cups the front of your pussy and lets out a short breath. ‘You’re so fucking wet.’ His fingers don’t take time to slip under the soaked cotton and glide themselves over your slick. ‘Is this how you walk around all day?’ he grunts, ‘Wet and waiting for me to take you?’
Your head falls onto Zayne’s shoulder, mouth agape. Your hips buck and grind against his palm, begging for more than just his teasing fingertips.
‘If it weren’t for you walking around like that,’ he buries his nose into the crook of your neck. His hot breath fanning your ear and you shudder. ‘I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on anything all day,’ he confesses, ‘Do you know how dangerous that would be for me, love? I am the most respected cardiac surgeon in all of Linkon and the sight of you reduces me to nothing.’
His fingers gently caress your swollen clit, massaging them ever so slowly. You can feel yourself getting more wet, practically soaking yourself into his palm. Zayne presses his lips against the sensitive spot of your neck, ‘So fucking wet just for me.’
You whine as your hand blindly reaches for his cock. You can’t take this anymore. You needed more. And today, for no particular reason, seems to have you both riled and wanting more. ‘P-please Zayne, I-I can’t take it.’
He chuckled, his fingers gliding down and slipping inside of you. ‘You can take it,’ he reassured, ‘You can take all of me just like you have been all these months.’
-
Caleb was coming home tomorrow.
That was what you had told yourself over and over again since you had woken up. You thought about him in the shower. While you were attending a patient’s wound dressing. While you ate lunch after your quickie with Zayne. And even now, laying in bed your eyes bore into the ceiling. Caleb was coming home tomorrow. Your head turned to your bedside alarm and sighed. Sleep won’t come easy tonight. You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath.
You thought of Zayne. He was different today and you couldn’t pinpoint why. It was nothing out of the ordinary for you two to have sex. In fact, you almost had it scheduled every week. It was a mutual companionship you both had expressed was purely physical and even productive. As you shed away all the stresses of work and the world, you were able to relax in the comfort of convenience in one of your oldest friends’ arms.
And yet there was something about him today that was foreign. In the way he kept you close to him. Visiting you on the ward in the middle of the shift. Asking if you had lunch even though you normally skipped it in return for finishing work early. And how he had kissed you after you had come around his cock, mouth hard and earnest against you.
Your eyes remain closed, pictures of Zayne’s hot body pressed against yours. His hands roaming every inch of your skin. You bit down on your lip. Mindlessly, you let your hands start to feel up your body. The soft silky nightgown (a humorous birthday gift from Zayne last year) falling off your shoulder and exposing one of your breasts. You let out a soft sigh as you palm and pinch at your nipples.
‘Am I interrupting something?’
Fuck.
You could have swore you were dreaming at the sound of his voice. Eyes wide open you sit up, linen pooling around your waist as your eyes directly meet Caleb’s.
Mouth agape, like a fish out of water, you stare at him. Caleb. He stood by the doorframe of your bedroom, body leaning against it as one leg crossed over the other. His arms were folded and a smirk spread across his pink lips. It took you a moment to register who was standing before you. ‘Caleb?’
If Caleb grew a head taller than you after graduation that summer, then he must have grown another foot. His shadow loomed over you. His broad shoulders stretched the thick fabric of his military jacket as he uncrossed his arms and brought his hand up in a mock salute. ‘Nice to see you too Pipsqueak,’ he sings. His violet gaze flickers to your chest and you scramble to pull the sheet up to your chest. But you were too transfixed at the sight of him.
‘So this is how you kept yourself busy while I was gone?’
Pushing off the doorframe he walks into the room slowly. The leather boots and the sound of your breathing filling the bedroom. ‘I thought you were coming back tomorrow.’
Caleb shrugged, ‘I lied.’
He walked around the bed with slow steps. As if with every stomp of his boot, another thought came to his mind. The air around you drew cold and tense. And an air of uncertainty filtered into your bedroom window.
It was late at night. And in this hour, the moonlight painted silver stripes into your room. It shone across your bedsheets and highlighted the violet gaze which never left yours. It was as if the centre of gravity had shifted. And nothing but Caleb’s gaze was holding you down in the bed. You couldn’t even cover yourself, your breast bare to him. You were frozen.
‘I wanted to surprise you. But it looks like you had other things going on.’
You didn’t understand. This was not Caleb. Your Caleb wouldn’t speak the way he is speaking right now. With this air of fear and uncertainty you swallowed down your dry throat. ‘Caleb what happened-’
He stopped at the foot of the bed abruptly and turned to you. ‘One year Pipsqueak.’ he snarled, reaching forward and gripping the edge of the bedframe. ‘I was gone for one year and you had the nerve to go and fuck Zayne? Out of all fucking people?’
You were stunned.
Caleb let out a laugh you could only decipher as mockery. ‘You even went ahead and became a nurse for him! Just like I thought you would,’ he laughed. He took off his hat and your chest heaved as you fully took in his face. Pieces of short dark locks fell above his eyes as he ran a hand through his hair. He placed his hat on your bed. The leather gloves tighten its grip against the wooden bedframe.
‘H-How did you know?’
There was no point denying it at this point. But if the man in front of you was truly Caleb, then you had to know how he came to know the secret arrangement you had with Zayne this whole time he was at the DAA.
Caleb snickered, ‘I always knew Pipsqueak.’
He pushed himself off the bedframe and made his way around to the side of the bed. There he stood over you, his shadow eclipsing the moonlight seeping from the window. In the dark, his violet eyes were shining with a sinister glint. He grinned, ‘It was just a matter of what I would do when I came home.’
You felt powerless. Your eyes couldn’t believe that Caleb was here. After a year of mourning his presence, missing him, the Caleb that returned was unrecognisable. Caleb smirked at your face. He could tell you were afraid. It excited him. It excited him even more to see how unfazed you were having your chest so exposed to him. His tongue darted out to wet his dry lips. ‘How long have you been fucking him?’
Your eyes narrowed, ‘I thought you knew everything, Colonel.’
Caleb quickly brought his hand under your chin, the leather of his glove pressing into your skin. He jerks your head closer to him as he leans in, ‘I want you to admit how much of a slut you are.’
‘You couldn’t even wait for me, Pipsqueak,’ he feigned sorrow, ‘You just had to jump onto the next guy that offered you cock.’
You scoffed and tried to pull away from his grasp. But Caleb held onto you tightly, his thumb pinching your chin tightly, ‘Caleb you’re hurting me-’
‘How long?’ he presses.
Your skin was on fire with the intensity of Caleb’s gaze searing into you.
‘Since I started working at Akso.’
He pulled you closer, you could smell him. Smoke and citrus. His lips were almost brushing against yours, his long lashes brushing your cheek as he turned to whisper into your ear. ‘You know you belong to me.’
You shuddered at his words and swallowed.
At this point your breasts were aching, begging to be touched. And the absolute terror Caleb reigned over you had all the more brought out the tingling sensation of your arousal.
He drew only a breath back, his grasp on your chin loosening only a fraction as his eyes stared into yours. Caleb smirked as he feels you practically lean further into his touch. ‘Well?’ he asked, cocking his head to the side in feigned interest, ‘Say it.’
A flash of confusion crosses your eyes before you blink away at his request. ‘What?’
Caleb brings a knee onto the bed, sinking into the soft mattress. He tilts your head up, ‘Say you belong to me.’
A silver shine catches your eyes and your lips part. There, tucked away under the collar of his fleetspace uniform, lay the familiar silver chain. Caleb watches your gaze flicker back to his, and notices the wet shine in your eyes.
When U Come Back.
‘I’m yours, Caleb,’ you choke out, tears threatening to slip against the burning of your cheeks,’I belong to you.’
His mouth crashes into yours almost violently as he pushes you back down into the bed. You land with a soft thud, his gloved hand catching the back of your head as he grasps a fist full of your hair.
A grunt escapes your lips and you gasp as Caleb slips his tongue into your mouth. He tastes as good as he smells as he wedges a muscled thigh between your legs. You try to shake the thought that this man on top of you was the same sweet boy who had always played with you at school. The same boy that held your backpack when it was too heavy. The same one that would tie your shoelaces.
The loud crash of boots disappear in the background as Caleb kicks them off and turns your head to the side. He wastes no time in running his other hand up your side as he presses sloppy wet kisses down your throat. ‘You grew into such a pretty slut,’ he teased as he massaged into your side, ‘Do you wear these things every night hoping someone would find you?’
At this point your panting and Caleb chuckles at the sight. He’s proud to see such a reaction out of you. Flushed cheeks. Hair tousled and sticking to your forehead. Your lips parted and almost dry from all the airy breaths.
His nose brushes against your skin as he kisses his way down to your chest, ‘Or were you wearing this knowing I would be knocking on your door in the morning, Pipsqueak?’
Balling your fists, you held onto the sheets tightly. Cocky bastard. Your knees closed in one another, locking Caleb into place. Your eyes darted to him and you sneered, ‘Maybe I was expecting a certain doctor instead.’
The growl erupted from Caleb was carnal. You watched in a trance as he licked a stripe down the fold of your cleavage. ‘Shut the fuck up.’
Your laughter was cut short when Caleb took your breast into his mouth. He sucks roughly at your nipple, grazing at it with his teeth. He hums in approval when you let out a gutteral groan, ‘Fuck.’
His other hand lets go of your head and reaches towards your throat. In a firm grasp, he holds you down as he continues to lap at your tits. ‘That’s right baby,’ he released your nipple with a soft ‘pop’ before kissing his way to the other. He draws a circle with his tongue around the hardened bud before taking it between his teeth. ‘Your tits are so fucking perfect.’
If Zayne was gentle, then Caleb was brutal.
If Zayne was considerate, then Caleb was selfish.
If Zayne was your comfort, then Caleb was your undoing.
You were squirming and your pussy was throbbing beneath your nightgown. And, unknowing to the man hovering above you, you were completely exposed. After all you lived alone, why wear underwear around the house? Saves on laundry.
As if he can scent you, Caleb pulls himself up and cages you under him. He rips off his gloves and jacket, leaving him in his white slacks and button down. His black tie dangles in your face as he leans down. ‘I can smell how fucking wet you are Pipsqueak,’ he muses. He palms his hard cock under his pants, begging for release. But he remains measured, composed. ‘Let me fuck you and I’ll make sure you never need to touch anyone else but me again.’
His words were seeping into your bones as his deep breaths masked his self restraint. You can feel the sheets curl beneath you as he fists the linen in earnest. With heavy lids you avert your gaze, the boldness of his attitude pinning you down. ‘But Zayne is so good to me…’
It was a mistake to even think of another man whilst Caleb practically hunted you down. At the sound of another man’s name, your childhood best friend snarled as he pulled down his pants swiftly.
Holy shit.
He was huge, even in his large grasp. You watch with mouth agape as Caleb lazily fisted his cock above you. His brows furrowed and his violet glare sent shockwaves all over you. He smirked, ‘Zayne might be good to you baby…’
‘But I’m not going to hold back.’
He leant forward once more and you gasp at the hard thickness of Caleb’s cock pressing against your stomach. You groan as he teases the tip of his cock down your navel to the top of your swollen clit. The hardened bud was throbbing and aching and practically begging for any friction. Your hands hold onto the sides of his biceps, the strong corded muscles shifting under his thin shirt.
He chuckled, ‘I’m going to fuck you and you’re going to take everything I’ll give you.’
There was no question in his tone and no room for even doubt before Caleb pushed his hard cock inside you. You let out a yelp at the sheer force of him stretching inside of your pussy. Your fingernails dig into his arms deeper as you moan, ‘Holy shit.’
‘Fucking hell,’ Caleb muttered, drawing his hips back and watching the length of his cock disappear inside of you with a quick snap. The force of his weight moved your body against the bed, the sound of his pelvis meeting yours.
It wasn’t long for you to adjust to him. Your body was practically moulding beneath him, accommodating to every curve and every inch of his hard cock as Caleb begins a brutal pace. ‘Take it for me,’ he muttered, throwing his leather gloves off and finding his hands gripping onto your hips firmly.
The sound was filthy, your wet pussy slobbering all over Caleb’s length as he continuously pulls you into him. You pant and writhe beneath him, ‘Caleb it’s too much-‘
He huffed as he continued to fuck you harder, ‘No it’s not enough,’ he decided. Your eyes were watery at the overwhelming sensation of his touch. There was no time for you to even register him flipping you over to your stomach.
You whine at the sudden loss of him pulling out of you.‘See?’ he sneered, pushing you down and lifting your hips up. His large hands, calloused and rough compared to Zayne’s, kneaded into the soft flesh of your ass. Caleb hums as he palms your soft skin before delivering a loud slap onto you.
‘Ah! Caleb!’
You shudder with each delivering blow, your back arched as your moans muffle through your pillow. Your fingers gripped onto the sheets as the stinging heat of your skin continued.
You can hear the sound of buttons popping and a soft thud onto the ground as Caleb strips himself off from his clothes. Your cheeks reddened at the thought of him naked before you, dressed in nothing but a skimpy silk nightgown.
Caleb reaches for you, grabs a fistful of your hair and jerks your head up. Before you could protest, he stuffs his fingers into your mouth and shoves the black cloth of his tie into it. The sound of your surprise is muffled and gagged.
‘Now I wouldn’t have to hear you say any other name again.’
He wastes no time in pushing himself back into you. The thick head of his cock parting the soaking folds of your pussy before practically sucking him in. Caleb moans, his grip on your ass tightening as he stills inside of you. ‘Fuck,’ he laughs, ‘You’re pussy is so fucking tight.’
He snaps into you, ass in the air as his hips meet yours. You fall back into the mattress, hands bracing before you as your muffled moans fill the room.
‘Isn’t this what you wanted?’ Caleb asks as he pounds into you, pace relentless, ‘Your pussy was practically calling my name the minute I stepped into your apartment.’
His cock throbbed inside of you, penetrating your walls in an unforgiving manner. He was so thick and long and fuck you wanted to come so badly.
Caleb leans forward, wrapping an arm around your waist before pulling you up. Your back is flush against him and the hard muscles of his stomach heave behind you. He fucks up into you, the new angle giving him an even deeper access. His other hand reaches around to your bundle of nerves. ‘This clit is mine,’ he whispers in your ear. The sight of his tie balled up into your mouth turned him on so much. In fact, the sight of you completely reduced to nothing but a cock drunk slut gave him such euphoria.
‘Do you even know how much I missed you?’ he seethed, his fingertips circling your clit as he continued to pound into you. His hips jerking forward with so much intensity you were practically bouncing in the air.
You cry as Caleb’s cock presses itself into your G-spot. The massage of his thick bulbous tip grinding against you was enough to have you standing just by the edge.
Caleb slowed his pace just a fraction as if he could sense how close you were. His hands disappeared from your clit much to your protest. Pushing you off from him, Caleb flipped you back onto your back.
Pulling the gag out of your mouth, Caleb’s eyes were clouded full of lust and desire as you wet your lips. ‘I missed you,’ you return, panting and gasping for air.
Delight flickered in his eyes as Caleb pushing your thighs back towards your chest. He held your thighs there as he lined himself up to your entrance. ‘Fucking liar,’ he chuckled before spitting onto your clit. You moan and swear as the dollop of spit glides down your folds.
‘If you really missed me you would have saved yourself for me.’
He grabs his cock in a tight fist, his other hand holding you open before him. He teases the tip of his cock, covering it in the mixture of your slick and his saliva.
‘Please Caleb,’ you beg.
The sound was glorious. This was all he ever wanted. He didn’t care about anything else. All he wanted was you. And seeing you beneath him, practically a body full of lust and heat and want. It was driving him crazy. He would almost forgive you for what you have done. The betrayal you have committed.
‘Please, please-‘
Caleb fucks you like never before. He enters so smoothly before holding onto your thighs and pounding into you mercilessly. You moan his name over and over again. Caleb grunts in approval, the sight of your tits bouncing sending him over the edge.
‘Your pussy is mine,’ he declares.
You nod in a dazed state, ‘It’s yours.’
His thrusts drove deeper, bottoming out so his balls were flush against you. You let out a long whine, hands clutching onto your tits. You didn’t care anymore. You didn’t think of anything else but Caleb fucking you so good. Your fingers pinched and pulled at your nipples, palming and kneading your soft breasts.
‘That’s right baby,’ Caleb sighs at the sight, drinking you in. ‘Play with your tits as I fuck into you.’
His words turned you on so much. The filthy sounds of you fucking and his degrading tone left you feeling an incredible high. You knew you were close.
‘I’m going to come inside of you and you’re going to take it for me. You’re going to be a good girl for once and fucking take it.’
You nod. At this point you were agreeable to anything as long as Caleb continued to fuck you. You chew onto your bottom lip, eyes rolling back at the feeling of his cock continuously hitting that delicious spot.
‘That’s it baby,’ he moans, ‘Fuck you look so good taking my cock like that.’
Your mouth was dry as you stare into him. His foggy gaze was determined and shadowed with an almost animalistic lust. Your hands cup your breasts as you continue to bounce off him.
Fuck, he was going to come. The sight of you was too much. And at the edge of his unraveling, you leaned forward and pressed your mouth onto his. Your tongue lapped at his bottom lip before sinking your teeth into his flesh. Sucking at his lip, you moaned as his silver necklace pressed against your breast.
His kiss was hot and reckless. Losing all sense of control, you feel your own unraveling come before you. Letting out a long whine your pussy clenches around Caleb’s cock as you feel yourself coming over him. It was too much. All too much. The intense pull of your pussy and the taste of your tongue and the smell of you hair was driving Caleb closer and closer to the point of no return.
‘That’s right, come around my cock,’ he shuddered, ‘Show me how good my cock makes your pussy feel.’
His handprints were branding marks on your skin as Caleb delivers his final crushing thrusts into your pussy, claiming all that you could give to him. A wave of pleasure crashed into him as Caleb’s pace faltered. ‘Fuck!’
Hot white ropes of Caleb’s come seeps into you as he continues to fuck into your pussy. You moan his name several times, wrapping your arms around his neck. Caleb brings his arms around you, holding you above him as you grind onto his cock milking his come out of him.
‘Don’t stop fucking moving,’ he commanded, panting into your ear as you grind against him.
You moan loudly as you lazily roll your hips against him, chasing your high as your legs wrapped around his waist with Caleb sat on his knees under you. Your clit, swollen and tortured, rubs against his groin as you feel his come fill you up entirely.
Your hands run through his hair, sweaty and ruffled as you stare into his half-lidded gaze. His eyes flickered to your tongue as it sweeps over your swollen bottom lip. Caleb leans in to kiss you. This time it was more gentle, more soft. Almost tender.
You both take a moment to catch your breaths. Limbs still tangled and entwined, you remain still together in the bed. His cock was still warm inside of you. You didn’t care to move.
You sniffle at the sight of him. ‘How long are you here for?’ you whisper.
In the darkest of hour in the night, despite your loud rendezvous moments ago, your question was quiet and filled with fear and anxiety. Caleb is back. And you don’t think you could ever see him leave again.
Caleb offers you a small smile, arms wrapping around your waist again as you push back his hair from his sweaty forehead. ‘I’ll be here for as long as you need me to be, Pipsqueak,’ he teased. You grunt and slap his chest to which he burst into laughter. The tension in your shoulders lifting at the sound.
Caleb grins and a mischievous glint flashes in his eyes as he brings his hand to cup the back of your neck. Pulling you down, his forehead presses against yours.
‘I came back for you, Pipsqueak.’
Your breath hitches as you can feel Caleb’s cock growing hard again inside of you. His other hand resting on the side of your thigh, his thumb massaging soft circles into your hot skin. The fire in your chest reignites at the carnal desire growing back in his violet eyes.
‘I won’t be leaving anytime soon.’

Supernatural Involvement and Ominous Signs in ASLFUA
For a while, many readers have theorized that there is some kind of a higher power/higher being in ASLFUA, and looking at the latest episodes it seems to have been confirmed. With this post, I've tried to gather every instance of the higher power's implied presence and all the ominous scenes in the story. I also included foreshadowing scenes that could have made Miae aware of certain things if she had paid attention because coincidences are important in the story, and certain moments that were defining in the plot. The list contains spoilers for the newest KR episodes and it keeps being updated.
Episode 2 :
Miae is reading a book in the library about how the last day of 1999 will be the end of the world: "'1999, a terrifying overlord is coming...the end of the human race.." -> this might be a reference to the famous prophecy of Nostradamus in which in the 7th month of 1999 a great king of terror would descend from the skies (which makes me think...is it July in the story right now?)
The Hwang family's phone stops working
Miae's dresser breaks and therefore she has to take out the trash, where she sees Cheol crying
"This boy is about to be this girl's most special person, someone whom she will never be able to forget."
Episode 3
Miae and her mother visit the Buddha statue and Miae's wish is not to be in the same class with Cheol - it doesn't come true.
Miae, Cheol and Jisu all become classmates in their last year. Miae and Cheol become deskmates by coincidence.
Episode 4
Cheol's furniture becomes Miae's, along with the contents of his dresser, something only he knows about
Episode 5
Yunhui calls Miae on their new cordless phone, the line is interrupted by another conversation, "Did you get the present I sent you?" - it sounds like a message to Miae from the higher power about Cheol
Episode 8
Miae ruins her bangs, her mother says she should do something about her hair - the first time we are told Miae should go to a hairdresser to fix it
Hwanggeum Academy uses corporal punishment - might be relevant later on?
Miae has to go to karaoke so she gives up on going to the hair salon (this foreshadowing is super crazy btw)
Episode 9
Cheol is compared to the protagonist of the comic Miae reads, 'My First Love Next Door Is Number 1' - gets into trouble and transfers, fights the school bully and wins, nicknamed Lucifer, has a facial scar, lives next door
As Miae is thinking about Cheol, her thoughts are interrupted by a cockroach in the classroom
Episode 11
Miae notes how strange it is that she keeps seeing Cheol while they didn't bump into each other the previous year (just like how Jisu later keeps commenting how strange he keeps meeting Miae) - Miae acknowledges the higher power
Yunhui's pager says "between friends goodbye"
Episode 12
Miae has a weird feeling when she's talking to Cheol's shoe as if it understands what she's saying
Episode 15
In her dream, Miae remembers Cheol crying and her making a wish with a stone tower about how she wants to be his friend. The phone suddenly rings, the TV becomes static and there's a storm outside despite the weather forecast not saying anything about it. The other end of the phone is silent and the lights go out.
Episode 17
Cheol's shoe gets smudged with ink so Miae cannot give it back to him. She cannot concentrate on her practice test, foreshadowing her involvement with Cheol's academy.
Episode 21
Miae again remembers some memories about Cheol saying he doesn't want to be her friend while she's sleeping
Side note: while Soonkki is a great writer, there's some inconsistency about Jisu's seating arrangement. I think she always meant him to sit in Block 1, that's why we got limited panels of that area of the classroom, but his position kept changing until his official introduction. Here, he should have been sitting in front of Seonghan, but there's another boy in that seat. In episode 23, we get a panel of Block1 again, and there's a boy who looks like Jisu from behind in that.
She again remembers her time with Cheol while sleeping on the bus
Episode 24
Daebak Academy notebook says "The teacher is spoon-feeding you, so why can't you pass" -> the higher power is giving hints to Miae, why can't she understand them?
Episode 29
Miae thinks about how she doesn't bump into Cheol as much as before, we get a close-up of the shoe and the Daebak Academy notebook
Episode 37
Miae falls on Cheol while playing soccer
Episode 39
Miae and Cheol are arguing but still bump into each other because of their parents
While Miae thinks about how Cheol should smile at people, she almost gets hit by a ball but Cheol saves her.
Episode 40
Cheol goes to Miae's house to do their homework. Miae's mother says she wonders if it will rain before she leaves. Cheol tries to change the lightbulb in Miae's room, but the lights go out because of the storm. Miae thinks "again?" and they fall on each other. She tells Cheol they should be friends.
Episode 41
Cheol agrees to be Miae's friend and we see a flashback of young Miae wishing they would be friends. While they are doing their homework the rain stops. Miae says planes even fly in the rain and Cheol replies that airplanes fly above the clouds.
Episode 42
Miae answers their phone and the line is interrupted again. Someone thanks their boss for the present and says they will do well on their own from now. -> is it a sign Miae should do well on her own after the hints?
Interesting to note that every time Miae might be involved with the higher power, certain objects in her room are highlighted - Cheol's shoe, the lamp, the notebooks. They all give signs to Miae that she keeps ignoring.
Episode 43
Cheol and Yonghui point out that Miae should get a haircut. Miae ends up cutting it herself instead of going to a salon.
Episode 45
Miae wishes upon a star instead of a plane so that the presentation in class will go okay. This actually comes true, as also noted by the narrator in ep 46.
Episode 46
Daebak Academy booklet says "nothing comes easy"
Episode 47
Something I've noticed is that throughout the story Miae keeps thinking she forgot something, and there's usually a situation that seems like the answer to it. Here, it turns out she forgot about Jinseop's homework. And Taekwang's song is about how someone cannot do both things at the same time. It was the same when she forgot about her homework while playing soccer. Forgetting about things is a recurring plot point for Miae, which culminates in the Jisu subplot where we learn Miae completely forgot about his existence even though she didn't have many friends who were boys.
Episode 50
Cheol's father wants to take a picture of Cheol and Miae, but Cheol refuses
Episode 51
Miae again cuts her own hair and wonders if she cut it too straight
Episode 55
Cheol kicks Miae's pencil into Jisu's chair (side note: you can see here again how Jisu's seating arrangement was inconsistent, he should have been closer to the window)
Episode 56
Miae gets sent out to the corridor with Jisu
Miae's friends talk about handsome boys and someone mentions the number1 student (Jisu)
Episode 60
Jisu becomes Miae's folk dance partner - the first time Cheol and Miae are not doing something together
Episode 61
Hwanggeum Academy booklet says "there's nothing you can't do if you put the work in, do not expect a miracle" when Miae is struggling with the dance
Episode 65
Cheol's father takes a picture of Cheol and Miae after the sports festival
Episode 66
In Miae's dream, Cheol's sister says for a while means 5-6 yrs, Miae counts she will be in middle school by then. There's also a memory of Miae running after Cheol, saying "wait for me".
Miae's mother tells her to get a haircut but Miae replies she needs a bigger allowance for it.
The narrator says Miae should watch where she's walking after she bumps into Cheol.
Episode 67
Miae loses her name tag and Jisu finds it
Episode 70
Miae wonders how her wishes never come true, but remembers she also made one with the stone tower as a kid, but cannot recall what it was about.
Episode 71
Miae's mom notes their phone keeps ringing since yesterday. That day Miae wanted to tease Cheol with how she heard him saying he "loved her" in the shop and she saw him shirtless the same night.
Miae doesn't realize it was Jisu who called her a pervert
Episode 72
Miae notices someone wearing her name tag (Jisu), but doesn't find the culprit
Episode 75
Cheol wants to ask Miae something, but the homeroom teacher interrupts. Miae and Jisu get called to the teachers' room and have to do cleaning duty together for a week.
Episode 76
We see Miae's mom at a hair salon - could the lady in orange be Jisu's mother? who knows
Episode 77
Cheol stands up for Miae, but when Honggyu asks if they are dating, they both vehemently deny it. It suddenly starts raining.
Episode 78
Miae and cheol promise to be friends for real, forever. The narration comments, "But will they end up regretting their promise?". The rain stops. "1999, the final year of the century is half over" -> Miae's story is half over at this point. I have pointed out this before, but the series seems to be about the transition period between childhood and young adulthood, symbolized by the last year before the new millennium. Hence the title, 'green apple academy'
In her dream, Miae remembers asking Cheol if they are friends. She is awoken by their phone. the Daebak Academy notebook says "you are in danger if you are relaxed" and we see a girl talking to Cheol.
Episode 81
Cheol and Miae fall on each other and almost kiss, but the phone rings. Later, they do end up in the same position with an accidental kiss.
Episode 82
Miae wants to confront Cheol about the kiss and gets embarrassed, but her actions are interrupted when the trash bag she gave Jisu splits open, spilling its contents. Miae runs to him to collect it.
Episode 83
While Miae talks to her friends, she thinks back on her memories with Cheol and the narration says "I always liked.." and Miae looks surprised by it.
Episode 86
Interesting detail that Cheol doesn't know why Miae keeps looking at airplanes. If we assume she has a reason for doing it from the past, it's likely not related to Cheol.
Episode 87
Miae uses the trashbag as an excuse to run away from Cheol, repeating how she has to throw it out. All of a sudden, Jisu appears and takes it out of her hand, giving her a chance to run. It's just my personal theory that the trashbag here symbolizes Miae's vulnerability and reluctance to face her feelings, and Jisu takes it from her hand. It makes sense when we remember how his words made her think about her actions when she wanted to interrupt the confession. It's a great early foreshadowing that Jisu might play an important role in Miae's growth story as her voice of reason.
Episode 89
Cheol and Miae take photos together in a photo booth, first with Jinseop and Song-I, then the two of them alone. We don't know if Miae still has her pictures, but we can assume she somehow lost them during running around from the bullies because we never see them again. Cheol gives her a new name tag in the next episode.
Episode 95
Cheol gifts Miae an airplane model for her birthday. I personally believe this episode marks the end of the first part of the story and it's a turning point, but more about this under ep96.
While Miae leaves for school, their phone suddenly rings and her mom answers it. Miae sees posters about love on her way to school. For the first time, Jisu arives early for cleaning duty.
Episode 96
The series has had 2 symbolic illustrations at the end of 2 episodes. The first one was at the end of ep2, when Cheol and Miae's story started in the present:

Miae is offering a green apple to Cheol - a biblical allusion, here, the green apple probably signifies how Miae helps Cheol in the first part of the story to mature and grow as a person with her own knowledge.

This illustration comes at the end of ep96. Like I mentioned, I believe this marks the start of the second half of the story which focuses on Miae's growth as a person. Space is an important concept in the series, Miae also has planet stickers on the wall of her room, has a charm on her bag, etc.
"16 years old. An age much like the universe." "16 years old. An age where it's like you're thrown into space." - highlights the narration.
But why is it compared to space? We have the illustration right after Jisu splashes water on Miae's face and Cheol wakes up from his dream. In my opinion, it's because this is where these kids' limited worlds start to expand. In part 1, Cheol and Miae were mainly together, but as you grow up you start to feel like you're just one insignificant part of a greater whole. You might feel like you're the center of the universe when you're a teenager, and that the world is ending when you experience negative emotions, but as the illustration shows us, it's not just Miae and Cheol standing alone in the universe. There are other people, facing different directions, but they are all interconnected by an invisible force. Miae is looking at Cheol, but Jisu is standing in her shadow- because even though she was not aware of him, Jisu had his own life happening parallel to what we saw in part1, and this is where he starts to have an intersection with Miae. If there is a higher power in the story, it is aware of all these connections and talks about youth in a nostalgic way. The sense that these moments are fleeting is always present in the story, however, connections formed between individuals will always have a lasting impact, just like how the universe will continue to exist. Being thrown into space might feel like losing your footing, but here it's the personal relationships that ground these teenagers and make them stay close to Earth.
Episode 98
The teacher tells Miae to cut her hair after Jisu takes the blame for ruining the plant.
Cheol is acting strange because of his dream, and while Jisu looks at Miae the narration box says: "16 years old. An age riddled with the unknown, just like the universe."
Episode 99
Miae's hair gets stuck in the zipper of Cheol's bag and he pulls it out, ruining her bangs in the process. They go to the infirmary after Miae gets scratched by the zipper.
Episode 100
At the countryside, while Miae picked a flower she thought how nice it would be if Cheol came to her school - and it became true. She thinks how it was so strange -> Miae again unknowingly acknowledges the higher power when it comes to Cheol
Episode 101
It's raining and the TV is not working in Cheol's home. He remembers taking a picture with Miae in the countryside. He asks his father about the picture on the sports day -> the data was lost. Miae gets grounded by her mother and she wants her to quit the academy.
Episode 102
I've mentioned symbolic objects in the story, but this one was noted by other readers as well: in ep 101, Miae accidentally drops the chalkboard eraser out of the window and Jisu fails to catch it - but Cheol does. However, in this episode Miae tosses it back to Jisu before saying she hopes they'll never see each other again (it's the first, but not the last time she declares it).
Cheol fails to convince Miae's mom about the academy -> Miae's mom points out Miae's grades have been dropping since last year. She makes her stance clear - she wants Miae to study.
Episode 103
It's raining and Miae cannot open Cheol's drawer in her room.
She tries to cut her hair, but the phone rings. On the other line, Miae hears someone saying "I only did what I did because you wanted it so bad, but you screwed up that chance! You don't deserve that project, I'm going to hand it to someone else." -> the first time the higher power tries to directly say Miae is late
Miae's mom cuts her hair instead of sending her to a salon...
Miae loses the name tag Cheol gave her
Episode 104
Jisu says "see you again" to Miae (and will keep saying for a while lol). Miae points out she never wanted to see him again.
Episode 106
After the teacher discovers their conversations in class, Miae and Cheol get separated and Miae becomes Jisu's deskmate. Miae and Cheol are not allowed to interact until the final exams are over.
Hwanggeum Academy's notebook remarks "Do you regret it now?"
Episode 107
Miae dreams about the flower from the countryside and a voice says she should hurry up and do what she wants about her wish if she remembers. She doesn't remember and the voice gets angry, Cheol appears and crushes the flower, telling her if she doesn't remember she should just forget it. The voice remarks Cheol is angry because Miae is late.
Episode 111
Jisu, who has also become aware of the coincidences, tells Cheol he's not the only one having something special with Miae.
When Miae calls Jisu her friend from the same class and tells him he should learn for himself, Jisu tries to say something, but he is interrupted by Cheol.
Episode 112
Miae thinks about their bet and how she should ask something serious, something more than friends do from Cheol, and we get a bunch of error messages. Cheol's dream is all fuzzy.
Jisu wins the bet, but we never get to know his wish because Miae gets angry at him.
Episode 115
The narration points out Cheol has changed and matured a lot, is it Miae's turn?
Episode 116
We see some posters about a summer festival, the forest in Midsummer Night's Dream and how everything is the product of coincidence.

The forest in Shakespeare's play is dominated by the supernatural - what we have in common with this story is the forest Miae and Cheol played together as kids, and obviously the involvement of a higher power. The coincidences poster is possibly a reference to Carl Jung's Synchronicity, a concept that states that seemingly meaningful coincidences have a deeper meaning, they don't have a rational explanation - almost like destiny, a deeper order in the universe. It's a connection between one's psyche and the material world (so you have to notice and acknowledge the deeper meaning of these coincidences in order to experience synchronicity). Jung used this to argue for the existence of the paranormal. For example, if you cannot decide something, you might come across a book on the topic. What a coincidence, right? In this interpretation, everything is interconnected in the universe, and we are a part of this web of connections. So those coincidences...were actually not coincidences. -> Hmmmmm.....I wonder.....meaningful coincidences, the universe, connections...why do they sound familiar??? BECAUSE OUR STORY IS EXACTLY ABOUT THIS NOTION! Who notices these coincidences? Miae about Cheol, Jisu about Miae....One has to be open to the possibility of the connection between our inner world and the outside world, only then they can start to notice the signs the universe is sending them. Soonkki, you deserve my applause! Because it was exactly what I said about the art at the end of ep 96 and the placement of the characters. Mind? Blown!
Miae thinks that she feels something is wrong
Yunhui's pager says friends goodbye
Jisu gets involved in the Yonghui-Yunhui storyline by coincidence
Episode 117
We see all the coincidences from Jisu's perspective and how he became aware of them. And what does he say about them? That they are fascinating and kind of funny! My boy Jisu got the synchronicity message.
This is the 3rd time Miae and Jisu didn't hold hands. The first time Miae pretended to help him up, only for him to fall back. Then Jisu held out his hand after the exam, but she didn't take it. Here, he again reaches out and Miae doesn't take his hand. Remember this later!
Episode 118
Someone steps on Cheol's bag, and he's worried it might be Taeuk
Jisu wants to join in another bet in exchange for his help
Episode 119
Jisu gets involved in the Shim storyline, and as we know from later he picks up the cigarettes to get revenge on him
Episode 122
Miae learns that Cheol rejected Seonyeong and the lights flicker in her room
She cannot remember her dream. The narration says that she should have realized that something changed.
Episode 123
Miae notes that she experienced the kiss in the comic book with Cheol
Jisu almost catches her, but Cheol pushes him away
Episode 126
The parents are having dinner together at a pig feet restaurant and toast for the future of their children. The TV is not working, and a boy who looks like Jisu tries to fix it.
Miae kisses Cheol
Episode 127
Miae has a dream again in the white dress. As she realizes she might like Cheol, the voice says she's too late and there's no use regretting it.
Episode 129
Miae remembers that they took a picture in the countryside together and wants to take one now. She makes a wish to an airplane about how she just wants one photo, and remarks that the planes never granted her wish before. Spoiler, they won't this time, either.
Miae chooses to take the picture with Cheol. The narration box says "she's always done whatever she sets her mind to. That has always been one of her better attributes. But Mi-ae, it seems as though you keep forgetting something. I told you, you're too late."
The pager's message means idiot, cancelled and it suddenly starts raining. Maie and Cheol cannot take their photo and Cheol cannot give her back the hairpin she dropped a few eps ago.
Episode 132
Graduation photos were postponed until the second semester
In Miae's dream, the voice says she's all over the place and cannot decide what she wants from Cheol. In her memory, Miae wishes at the stone tower that Cheol would like her back. The voice angrily remarks how it must not mean much to her.
Episode 133
While Cheol and Miae are looking at each other, Miae is smacked in the face by a flyer. Later while they are riding the bike, Cheol almost says she looks pretty but he is hit in the face with a flyer that belonged to Jisu.
Episode 134
Miae takes the cigarettes from Jisu and puts them in her backpack
While Jisu and Miae look at each other, the narration box says "Well. this is what we would call fate. What do you think?" Miae can sense the voice and dismisses it.
Jisu again says "see you later" and Miae answers let's not, but Jisu replies they never know and it would be fun.
On the radio in Miae's room there's a voice speaking, asking if it was a success and how there is something you can't stop thinking about. "A friend? The fact that you weren't wrong? Whatever it is, I don't think it's such a bad thing to obsess over it a little bit. I hope you have no regrets about it."
Episode 135
Miae's eyebrow and bangs are so ruined she has to finally go to a hair salon. Yunhui gives her money and says there's a cheap place where she can go. It turns out Jisu's mother is a hairdresser and after realizing she is Jisu's friend, she doesn't ask for money. So if anyone ever wondered why Miae kept ruining her hair in the story, here's the answer....
a little bit of strange wording here:

The narration says "Now that I think about it, this was about the time..wait,no, it was a little bit earlier that things started to go wrong, little by little. You two were completely oblivious, though. Just you two."
Miae's mother goes to the academy. One theory I can give on this is that Miae's family might be moving. She wished for it at the start of the story, mentions it in a later episode as well. Who knows ~
Episode 138
Miae doesn't tell Cheol her feelings because of her pride as she feels like she would lose first
Miae has a feeling as if something is trying to make her look bad in front of Cheol and her gun suddenly starts working
Everybody forgot to buy the picture they took together in ep 139
Episode 140
After conveying their feelings indirectly to each other, Miae tells Cheol they cannot date right now because her mom wouldn't allow it. She plans to go to the same high school, university, everything and thinks there's no one to stop them so nothing can go wrong.
Episode 141
Cheol imagines high school together with Miae and their friends
Every time Cheol is flustered, he accidentally drinks his sister's coffee and he cannot sleep at night..in a story where dreams are relevant I'm sure this is just a coincidence, right???🧐🙃😏
Miae says they should not be obvious before the entrance exam and they start to think of it as a competition
Someone watches them from the street
Episode 144-145
We get everything from Cheol's POV
Cheol got his scar because he wanted to give Miae the romance book she liked before they left and he fell on the stone tower
The picture his dad took of them is about a young Cheol accidentally kneeling with flowers in his hands, the same flowers from Miae's dream, in front of Miae. This picture was in the book Cheol and his family kept.
Cheol realized the book was in his dresser that is now in Miae's room, the one she couldn't open before
Episode 146
Miae sees two flyers in the newspaper, one is about how a student still didn't give it up, the other is about changing one's car
On the street, the same car ads keep flying after her in the wind
Miae goes with Yonghui to wait in a line and the same flyers are all over the place
Episode 147
Miae wants to call Cheol, but Jisu stops her. Miae notices how often they have met during vacation, and Jisu says these coincidences are fun. He remarks it's almost like as if some higher power is involved (!!). Miae is standing on the car ad, they look down on it with Jisu, then she kicks it away. Jisu tells her he has a feeling they will meet again, but Miae hopes they won't.
The academy is also full of the car ads and Miae falls on them
Miae thinks that for a while she's had a feeling as if something wants to get between her and Cheol, but brushes it off
Miae ends up with a bubble gum in her hair and goes to Jisu's house to fix it. Jisu tells her she should stay because he is bored, and there is a car ad on a stool.
Episode 148
We see some of Jisu's childhood memories and he was called a magpie by Miae which was a symbolic choice (I also made a post about it). Jisu in this story is the grateful magpie.
Miae and Jisu "touch hands" for the first time when they high-five (I wrote about how their hand hold never happened before)
After spotting some men smoking, Jisu tells Miae to go inside (one of them might be his father?)
Episode 149
Miae finally remembers Jisu
the narration boxs keeps saying how Jisu is cool and showing heart-thumping sounds and Miae is confused about these strange things
Miae not remembering Jisu was an important plot point considering she recalled everyone else from her past. As I theorized, memories and fate seem to be intertwined, the synchronicity theory also supports this. Synchronicity happens when seemingly unrelated events coincide and they become significant to you. It's easy to see why Jisu was aware of this notion, but Miae was not - because Miae had no idea about those coincidences other than meeting Jisu randomly. Him being her classmate, being the one who found her pencil, who helped her in the crowd, found her name tag, etc. - only Jisu knew about these. But right now, Miae was made aware that they knew each other in the past - a pretty big coincidence.
So now that Miae might have kickstarted her own fate, the question is whether she will be able to fight it or if there are certain things bound to happen no matter what. Is the narrator omnipotent and omniscient? So many questions that will hopefully get answered.
Episode 150
For the first time, Miae says she and Jisu will see each other again sometime. Before this, it was always Jisu who said it and Miae would reply that she didn't want to meet him again.
Miae remembers Jisu transferring, but doesn't know why he singled her out (so she will probably recall more memories later)
As Miae leaves Jisu's house, the car ads are flying in the air around her
Jisu enrolls at the academy and for the first time he says it's not a coincidence
Episode 155
Hwani tells her mother it would be great if they could keep being neighbours with Miae because she's fun. After a pause, Cheol's mother agrees.
Jisu keeps telling Miae she's a "traitor" or "bat" (depending on the translation, meaning she keeps secrets from others like the Yonghui Yunhui situation and the fact that she went to Jisu's house) and she might get into trouble because of that
Episode 156
The narrator directly communicates with Miae again, and informs us about Miae's thoughts. It makes heart-thumping sounds when she's with Jisu just like in previous episodes, but Miae ignores them.
Jisu again says how the coincidences are so fun. He counts to three until the teacher interrupts Miae and Cheol's bickering (similarly to Taekwang in ep 158)
When Jisu tells Miae he'll go out of the room to let her talk with Cheol, Miae thinks she'll talk to him regardless of anyone's interference and we get a close-up of an academy notebook saying 'NO' and a plane flying in the sky.
Episode 158
Flashforward in the episode to a scene with Cheol leaving Miae at the academy while a storm is coming and Miae looks like she's about to cry
An hour earlier in the story the dark clouds are already gathering (I mentioned how rainy weather is always connected to the change in Miae and Cheol's relationship, and how it's usually an ominous sign). After seeing Jisu's flustered face, Cheol tells Miae that he wants to change the lightbulb in her house before she gets hurt. The lights at the academy are highlighted as they keep vibrating. (I also noted how the lights are signs of the supposed higher power, they get their own panels in Miae's room, and they went out 2 times when Miae and Cheol's relationship changed)
After Jisu reveals that Miae was in his house and Cheol gets angry, Miae's pager starts buzzing (again, the pager messages always appear when the higher power wants to communicate with Miae).
Taekwang is an interesting character because the things he says are sometimes connected to the greater theme of the story. Like when he listened to his music and said how Miae cannot choose two things at the same time (come on, it was the foreshadowing for the current conflicts!), he smelled Jisu on Miae (???), Jisu even said he's the one he cannot deal with, and now he was counting the seconds until Miae got another sign. Is he used as a medium? (who knows lol)
Miae wants to check the pager message but the fluorescent lamp(?) breaks. Jisu shields Miae from the shards while they fall on the ground, making it his first successful attempt to save Miae in the story. The pager lands in the corner of the room.
Episode 159
Miae goes to a phone booth to check her messages and it's filled with the car ads so she kicks them away
The first message is a loud noise of a song recording. I personally think if there's a higher power in the story, this message came from it. The other is about Miae's friends telling her they'll visit her at her academy which gives Miae a sense of panic knowing Yonghui and Yunhui might meet.
Miae sees an airplane in the sky and the narration says Miae has a feeling that something is interfering with her and the panels get fuzzy with flashbacks to phone calls earlier in the story (omg this is actually crazy)
It starts raining and we get a glimpse of the last countryside memory we haven't seen yet about Miae running after Cheol at night. In the present, Miae trips just as she did as a kid, but instead of Cheol she meets Tae Uk.
#aslfua#after school lessons for unripe apples#theory#this became so long I feel like dying lol#there's so much work behind this so please be kind and respectful about it#no this is not a post about how Miae and Jisu should end up together#these are my observations about the story and the role of the supernatural entity#it's not a shipping post#sorry for the mistakes#but I'm incredibly tired#These kids are 15 stop arguing about their love lives#Meta

𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 | l.jh [1]
a/n: dedicated to ro, ( @shinysobi ) who has become one of my closest friends in caratblr. ro and i have yapped, for hours on end, about everything and nothing, and especially about mingyu and jihoon. whenever i have even the slightest inspiration for a new plot, ro always encourages me to take it further, resulting in a whole bunch of headcanons that will probably live on only in our dms. call me crazy for gifting someone angst on their birthday, but ro is one of the few people who loves angst as much as i do, and i couldn't resist this fic idea :)
the fic will be divided into 4 parts, because i suck at planning ahead, but please anticipate the next parts to be slightly happier than this emotional wreck!
shout-out to supi ( @supi-wupi ) for making this cute banner!! its exactly the way i imagined <33 also thank you for reading over this fic. serena ( @gotta-winwin ) , jina ( @facethesunflower ) and rae ( @nerdycheol ) helped me figure out the storyline of this fic!! thank u alll <33
and lastly, happy birthday ro :) ILYSM WOOZILOVER69 <3
word count: 2.4k contents: jihoon x f!reader , angst , medical!au , but not much focus on the medical aspect , this part is just sad , reader gets fired , jihoon gets dumped , nightmares
when the door to the director’s office closes behind you, the rain outside is a light drizzle. by the time you manage to empty your locker and drag your weary feet out the main entrance to the hospital, the large drops of rain feel almost painful as they hit your skin.
you walk to the nearest bus stop, and the rain doesn’t let up. you’re standing there alone, getting drenched in the rain like a fool, because everyone else either checked the weather forecast and remembered to carry an umbrella, or had someone remind them.
as the doors of an empty bus come to a halt in front of you, it hits you just how lonely you’ve been. you’re not sure if the lone bus driver notices your tears mix with the rain soaking you, but he thankfully doesn’t probe when you ask, “till when do the buses run?”
“for a few more hours, till eleven,” the bus driver replies, and you feel a weird mix of relief and sadness at the thought of getting to be alone for some more time.
“i’ll pay whatever it takes to just keep driving till eleven. you can go anywhere, i don’t mind,” for a moment, you think the old man may laugh in your face at your request, but his kind eyes reveal that he must have encountered people just as lost as you felt now and driven them out to a better place.
“no worries, kid,” he smiles. “just take a seat, i’ll look after the rest.”
the bus ride passes in silence as you stare out of the window, head completely devoid of any thoughts. it was a welcome change from the constant tornado of what-ifs, maybes, and could have beens that wreak havoc in your mind.
for the first thirty minutes, the bus driver tries to subtly take a look at your silent, shivering figure. he’s probably wondering why someone soaked to the bone wouldn’t ask for even a paper napkin to try and dry themselves off.
at the lack of any communication from you, the remainder of your bus journey passes with the bus driver’s eyes focusing on the road, while yours wander aimlessly.
at the end of your two hours, you manage to pull out crumpled bills from your wallet and hand them over to the driver before leaving the bus.
you had no idea where you were, and for the first time in ages, the uncertainty surrounding you wasn’t slowly killing you from the inside. you pull yourself together for long enough to find dry clothes, a nearby hotel, and a room for the night.
the end of a day that you’d never even imagined manages to surprise you one last time—when your head hits the pillow, you immediately drift off to sleep. the haunting beep of your pager, the constant worrying about your future, and a thousand regrets from your past weren’t around to keep you awake, and you feel an ironic sense of gratitude for your current situation right before you fall asleep.
hearing your mother’s voice over the speakers of your phone makes you tear up. the nostalgia of hearing her ask if you’ve eaten breakfast, just like how she used to when you still lived with her, creates an uncomfortable lump in your throat. you swallow thickly and answer shakily, “no, i haven’t eaten yet, eomma.”
“you should eat, sweetie. grab something from the hospital cafeteria, won’t you?” your mother tuts, the concern in her voice making you sick to your stomach with the guilt stirring up in your gut.
it had been three days, ten hours, and twenty-four minutes since you’d stepped into the hospital. your white doctor’s coat hangs off a chair at your dining table, the pocket that once held your employee badge empty. you hadn’t touched that coat in three days, ever since you left the hotel and came back to your apartment, not even to disentangle the stethoscope hanging out of a pocket.
the usual, perfectly-pressed white fabric of your coat was now crinkly with misuse, and each wrinkle stared back at you tauntingly, reminding you of your failed goals.
“i’ll do that,” you say, instead of saying i don’t even work at the hospital anymore. “my team needs me now, eomma. i’ll call you back later.”
“okay, sweetie,” your mother sounds hesitant, almost as if the crack in your voice makes her doubt your employment status. “call more often, okay? i really miss you.”
“i will,” you lie, again, and there’s a strange pain in your chest long after the call disconnects. a pain you thought you’d gotten used to over the years of lies and excuses.
things change, a small voice in the back of your head says, and after looking at the abandoned white coat on the chair across you, you couldn’t agree more.
“i can’t do this,” younghee sighs, the tense line of her shoulders giving away her frustration. “you keep asking me the same question, and it’s—”
“forgive me for wondering how much longer i’ll have to wait to get married to you!” jihoon interrupts her, shrugging his coat off with more force than usual.
“why do you keep asking if you know you’ll get the same answer?” younghee argues. “begging a hundred times won’t make me say yes!”
“begging?” jihoon scoffs. “now you think i’m begging you to get married? we’re engaged, for fuck’s sake! am i not allowed to ask about our wedding? it’s been three years, younghee. aren’t you tired of delaying this every time?”
“i am tired, jihoon,” younghee answers, but the exhaustion in her tone sounds different. “i’m tired because i don’t want this wedding at all.”
“what do you mean?” jihoon asks. “do you need more time to think? because three whole years seems like a lot of time to think.”
“i-i’ve already made up my mind,” younghee sounds resigned and guilty, and jihoon’s mind keeps firing off alerts at the unfamiliar tone of younghee’s voice. what he learns, though, is that no amount of warnings would have prepared him for the words that followed.
“i don’t want this wedding at all, jihoon, because i don’t want to be with you anymore.”
———
the aftermath of this recurring nightmare is the same. jihoon wakes up gasping for breath, his shirt soaked with sweat and heart racing unnaturally.
like clockwork, he looks to the empty side of his bed, the lingering scent of younghee’s shampoo having faded from the pillows a long time ago. he looks at the nightstand next to him and the framed photograph of him with who he thought would be beside him for life.
then, with robot-like movements, jihoon leaves his bed, the unblinking numbers on his alarm clock reading 4:37. he wordlessly pads into his kitchen, tries to ignore the matching pink mug next to his blue one, and pours himself a cold glass of milk.
the coffee machine next to the stove lays unused, like it has been for the past six months, with no one to drink coffee. jihoon always found coffee too bitter for his palate, and with younghee gone, even milk spreads over his tongue like bitter poison.
on nights like these, jihoon thinks. he thinks about the pathetic person he’s reduced himself into by living within the same, suffocating walls of his apartment. he thinks about how he should move on, at least make some effort, but he also thinks about how much it hurts his heart to even walk past the living room and glance at the bouquet of dead roses he had bought for younghee six months ago, the night everything had changed.
everyone tells him he needs to move on, but change hurts, and jihoon has never liked feeling pain.
you weren’t planning this, but somehow, your entire apartment has been packed into boxes. your apartment, with its ceiling-to-floor glass windows and large balcony, once your safe space, had now become a cruel reminder of how you didn’t have a job to pay even another month of rent.
“you’re leaving? just like that?” a voice startles you out of your thoughts, and you turn to see haerin standing at the door of your apartment, arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed.
“how did you know i was—?” you start, but haerin interrupts you with a pointed look. “mr. song called me when he saw the packers enter your apartment. why didn’t you tell me?”
you can’t get yourself to feel too angry at the old watchman, not when he’s taken care of you on multiple occasions when you felt so tired after your shifts at the hospital to even unlock the door to your apartment. you do, however, feel dread crawling its way up your chest at haerin’s sharp gaze.
“i didn’t think it was that important,” you shrug, your lie sounding unconvincing to even your ears.
“i know i call you an idiot, but i never thought you were this stupid,” haerin scoffs. “you’re my best friend, y/n. how could you think that you moving out wasn’t important enough to tell me?”
“haerin, let’s just drop the topic,” you sigh. “i’ve got a lot to do, and i can’t waste time like this.”
“i know you’re trying to push me away, but you forget that i’ve been your friend throughout med school,” haerin ignores your protests as she steps into your apartment, carefully avoiding all the scattered boxes. “i can deal with your every mood, so don’t expect me to leave here without an explanation. why are you leaving all of a sudden?”
“is it really that hard to see?” you sneer. “i fucking failed, haerin. i messed up and now i have no job, and no hospital is willing to take me in. anywhere i go, people stare and whisper at me. i’m the new freak in this city, so forgive me for running away from something that hurts me.”
“have you even tried to look for new positions?” haerin counters, her eyes softening when she sees the tears in yours. “i have a friend at asan, and he can help you out—”
“i don’t want to be a charity case,” you shake your head. “i haven’t worked my ass off just to be handed a job offer out of pity. i’m done with this city, and it’s clearly done with me too.”
“you can’t be giving up that easily, y/n,” haerin presses further. “give it some time, and maybe you’ll even get your old job back.”
“with kim hyungsoo kissing the director’s ass? yeah, sure,” you roll your eyes. “haerin, he got me kicked out of the hospital i’ve contributed a quarter of my life to. he has money, power, and every odd is stacked against me. there’s no way i’m going back there.”
haerin’s shoulders slump; she’s clearly out of any other arguments, and it makes you feel a twisted sense of relief. you don’t want to have a pointless argument with your best friend, but you also wish that something, anything, would stop you from upending the life you’ve made for yourself in seoul and going back to your hometown.
you hang onto a sliver of hope, expecting haerin to magically come up with another solution, but your next move is clearly laid out in front of you when haerin wraps you in a tight hug and says, “i’ll miss you, y/n.”
“haven’t seen you in this town before.”
jihoon turns his head to the side to see a kid standing next to him. he has a serious expression on his face, as serious as a ten-year old can get, but the bright red lollipop in his hands and the shaggy bowl-cut made it hard for jihoon to take him seriously.
“do you have another one of those lollipops on you?” jihoon answers, and the kid gives him a judging glance. after ten seconds of scanning jihoon up and down, the kid gives him a satisfied nod. “i’ll give you two if you give me 500 won.”
“deal, but you need to tell me your name first,” jihoon smiles, and the kid is quick to reply.
“my name is kim dohun,” dohun says. “what’s yours?”
“lee jihoon,” jihoon offers him a handshake, and dohun just gives him an unimpressed look, so jihoon awkwardly retracts his hand. just when he thought that he’d botched his first conversation with possibly one of the only people who didn’t know who he was in this town, dohun speaks up.
“you look tired. do you want ice-cream?”
dohun looks much more trusting now, and that makes jihoon smile even wider.
“yeah, i’d love an ice-cream, dohun-ssi.”
within five minutes, dohun had led jihoon to a convenience store near the train station jihoon had arrived at. with the air of someone who knows what he likes, dohun picks out a strawberry-flavored ice-cream for himself, and looks at jihoon as he picks out his choice.
with a melona ice-cream in his hands, jihoon joins dohun on the bench outside the convenience store after paying for both their snacks. his luggage is tucked away next to the large tub holding umbrellas for customers who forget their own.
“so, ahjussi, you still didn’t say—”
“call me hyung, dohun-ssi,” jihoon stops him. “i’m really not that old.”
“doesn’t look like it,” dohun mumbles, but he agrees anyway. “you can call me just dohun, jihoon-hyung. now can you tell me why i’ve never seen you here?”
“i’ve been away, dohun-ah,” jihoon sighs. “i was born here, but i moved out a long time ago, maybe even before you were born.”
“why did you move out?” dohun asks. despite all the maturity he tries to carry himself with, jihoon can clearly point out the childlike curiosity peeking through in his tone.
“because of…. work,” jihoon replies, as vaguely as possible.
“it feels like you’re lying though?” dohun questions with an accuracy only children possess in making judgements about new people. “your eyes look very sad, hyung.”
jihoon figures that even smiles can’t hide the heartbreak in his eyes, so he cuts out the pretense. dohun seems to appreciate the honesty in the defeated line of jihoon’s shoulders, and jihoon feels relieved that he doesn’t have to lie to another person about how he’s feeling.
“i am sad, dohun-ah,” jihoon confesses. “and i don’t know when i’ll feel better, or even if i ever will.”
“you will, hyung,” dohun says, and his words feel even more genuine than all the consolation from colleagues jihoon left behind in daegu. “i’ll help you, if you’d like that.”
“i’d like that,” jihoon nods, turning to face dohun. “i really would.”

Doctor Who, but Chronologically: 50
Remember when I said we were going to include a single story from the classic series as a humorous jape? And you all tried to guess which one it would be?
...
...
...
Heh heh heh. No one guessed.
It is 1988, and we are watching one of the greatest pieces of television ever created. Join us.
For Silver Nemesis.
:D :D :D
Also this one got REAL LONG so the Read More is higher than normal lol. It's basically an edited down version of my liveblog I did years ago, so it's more detailed than normal. But I couldn't resist.
SO
We kick off in South Africa with a squad of literal Nazis, one of whom tries to shoot a parrot with an arrow. This is not plot relevant; but there's a lot of archery in this one. Anyway, his manservant arrives, and interrupts his parrot killing ways to announce that something is landing in Windsor, apparently. He also has a glowing silver bow. That one IS plot-relevant.
Meanwhile, in Windsor in the 1600s, a Lady is shooting at pigeons, also with a bow and arrow. She is having a hot gamekeeper make some potions for her for some reason, and look after her poisoned arrows. Also there is some old dude who is writing and also blatantly not surviving the episode.
Anyway, there’s a sort of pebble in space with Jesus in it. Old Dude determines that it's going to land on Earth in 1988, almost exactly a year after Rose Tyler's dad dies.
It's a lot of story before the Doctor and companion even arrive! But fear not. Sylvester McCoy and Ace finally turn up listening to jazz in a garden. How lovely. Ace is catching up on the football scores for Charlton Athletic. The Doctor is receiving a reminder/text message, but this is the 80s, so it’s more of a pager; HOWEVER, it IS in...
A fobwatch! This show has so many fobwatches. I wonder if this one has all memories in it too? Seems not.
Ace is annoyed, because she’s enjoying the gig. But she got an autograph before leaving.
“Don’t you find it embarrassing to ask for an autograph?” the Doctor asks.
“Not as embarrassing as having an alarm go off in the middle of a gig and not remember what it’s for,” she says, coming for his fucking life.
Anyway, some men with futuristic ear muffs start shooting at them, so they jump into a river to escape. Ace is just floating because of her jacket, which is handy. She’s more concerned about her tape deck, though, because she is a goddess and we are unworthy insects in her presence. In any case, her tape deck was built for her by the Doctor, so it has extra tricks - he uses it to check his text, and discovers it's a reminder for the Earth's imminent destruction.
Meanwhile, in the Middle Ages, the Lady and her hot gamekeeper kill the Old Dude to add his blood to the potion. Turns out it's a Travel Through Time Potion! They drink it and stand there screaming as they see horrors beyond mortal ken, before arriving in 1988. They are still in the Lady's house, but in 1988, this room is a cafe and gift shop. The two ladies having tea there are remarkably blasé about two screaming people materialising over their scones.
The Doctor and Ace have also gone to the house, except they’ve bypassed the tea room and are looking through a vault instead. Ace tries on a Fez, like Matt Smith's. They’re after a bow, which I think means every character with a speaking part so far has either expressed a pro-archery stance or died. The Doctor explains that the pebble is actually a comet containing a statue called Nemesis, made of living metal and put into space by the Doctor - but, he got the orbit wrong, and it comes back to Earth every 25 years. Its landing caused WW1 (1913), the invasion of Poland (1938), the assassination of JFK (1963), and now has landed again. But it has three parts - the arrow, the bow, and the statue. The Lady has the arrow, the Nazis have the bow - if all three are put together, whoever does so gains power over life and death itself. And just as he's explaining, the comet makes landfall outside.
In the tearoom, the greatest piece of television in history occurs.
The Lady has spotted that police are heading towards the pebble, and wants to get there first. Her hot gamekeeper is too busy freaking out about cars to be helpful. She is angry and frustrated.
“FIE!” she screams, and literally throws a fucking chair through a glass door.
I...
... why did she do that
That was spectacularly unnecessary
She could just open the door!! It isn't locked!! It's made of glass!!! She could just open it, and instead she obliterates it!!! This is the best show ever. I note the two women in the tea room are as unbothered by this as they were by their entrance. How jaded they must be.
(... actually I'm not done on this point. This is legitimately one of the best things I've ever seen. This episode is almost entirely filmed on location, and the jump to a breakable set is really well hidden, so it legit looks like the Lady just hoofed a chair through the period glass door of a Grade II Listed Building. I can feel the National Trust having a heart attack. It doesn't even feel like a single pane of glass will so much as crack. She full-on shattered it. There is no more door. I fucking love this ridiculous mad witch.)
ANYWAY. The Lady and the hot gamekeeper are annoyed at the presence of the police by the comet.
“They don’t know what it is, though,” the gamekeeper points out reasonably. “Lets just wait until they leave.”
“You are not wholly stupid all the time, hot gamekeeper,” the Lady says.
“Thank you, Lady,” says the gamekeeper.
Anyway, turns out the comet has Defences! It makes toxic smoke, and kills the police the guarding it. Meanwhile, Nazi Man has arrived with his militia. They have found the pebble! They have placed the bow there to revive the statue inside, but they thought the arrow would be there, not realising a time-travelling maniac from the landed gentry has it. But, the Doctor and Ace arrive! Just striding right into a Nazi militia, balls out. Nazi Man thinks they have the arrow, and threatens to shoot Ace...
But, a fucking spaceship flies over their heads and lands next to them, and just as you think "Oh good, Ace is safe" the damn thing opens up and THERES CYBERMEN INSIDE!!!
It becomes a Nazis vs Cybermen shootout, the very definition of wasp vs stinging nettle, which the Cybermen are winning - their silver Doctor Martins are bulletproof. But the Lady shows up and just shoots one with a fucking gold-tipped arrow!!!?? And it works!! Hot Gamekeeper is just praying. His life choices are flashing before his eyes right now. This is all very much outside his ball park. His skills are more in the area of hunting pheasants, I think.
Ace and the Doctor use the shoot-out to grab the bow out of its Nazi carry-case and run away. The Lady has historic beef with the Doctor, it seems, so she re-enacts the end of the Shakespeare Code and shoots the TARDIS door with an arrow, then retreats. By the end only two Nazis remain, who believe they still have the bow lol.
(Meanwhile, the Lady and Hot Gamekeeper have a fun segment wandering through Windsor and meeting some ne’er-do-well punks. It ends with the punks stripped to their underwear and hanging upside down from a tree. The punks think they were social workers. It is completely irrelevant to the plot.)
The Doctor and Ace block the Cybermen from calling reinforcements by filling their hailing frequencies with jazz using Ace's tape deck. Meanwhile, the Lady and Hot Gamekeeper somehow find llamas, of all things. Fuck knows how. Are there llamas in walking distance of Windsor? I don’t really know England that well.
“Are they bears?” Hot Gamekeeper asks.
“No, and if they were they wouldn’t chase us,” the Lady says sagaciously. “Such things only happen on stage.”
Trolololol THIS STORY IS FANTASTIC I love every character except the Nazi ones.
Anyway, they arrive at the Lady's mausoleum. She planned for Hot Gamekeeper to be buried near her. That sounds nice, until you realise that he got an obelisk and she got AN ENTIRE CASTLE. She is glorious. But she's convinced the Nemesis is in or near her grave - the arrow has led her there. The Cybermen also arrive, and wait - they reckon the Lady will go mad when she sees her own tomb/corpse. They are wrong, however - on opening her grave, Hot Gamekeeper is very preoccupied with the possible presence of the Lady's bones. But she could not possibly give any less of a shit.
The Doctor and Ace find the Cyber ship while they're distracted. It is guarded by those earmuffed men from the start - partially converted Cyber folks.
“Ace,” the Doctor whispers. “You wouldn’t have ignored my instructions and have packed nitro glycerin by any chance?”
“What if I had?” Ace asks shiftily because WE ARE NOT WORTHY OF HER GLORY AND LIGHT
“Well, if you had,” the Doctor says, “You wouldn’t have it to hand in a detonate-able form?”
“Of course not!” Ace says, wide-eyed. “I’m a good girl!”
“Ace,” whispers the Doctor. “Blow up that vehicle.”
“Aw, Yes!” she hisses, and scampers off.
The Doctor is providing a distraction for her.
“Hello, I’m the Doctor!” he yells at the earmuffed men. “I believe you want to kill me!”
They are running towards him. Ace has run round the back and thrown some homemade bombs into the spaceship and HOLY FUCK IT BLEW UP THAT IS AN IMPRESSIVE EXPLOSION I LOVE HER SO MUUUUUUUUCH that done, they settle in to try to find where the Cyber reinforcements are hiding in space.
Meanwhile, Nazi Man goes to the Cybermen and proposes an Alliance. He offers to remove the Lady for them, on the grounds of a sort of Rock Paper Scissors weapon triangle? Cybermen are weak to the Lady (arrows) who is weak to Nazi Man (guns) who is weak to Cybermen (space guns). I think he’s forgotten that that doesn’t make that much sense. The Cybermen have agreed. They say they’ll split the planet.
“Afterwards, let’s shoot them with gold dust,” says Nazi Man.
“Afterwards, let’s kill them,” say the Cybermen. This was an ill-conceived alliance of monsters.
Anyway, turns out the statue is indeed in the Lady's grave, and also, it looks like her, but the Nazis arrive; Hot Gamekeeper throws the arrow onto the statue, grabs the Lady, and drags her to safety. This means the Nazis have the arrow, the statue, and - or so they believe - the bow.
“Now we can defeat the Cybermen!” Nazi Man crows. “For they are vulnerable to gold, but we have no such weakness!”
He has forgotten that he very much has a weakness to being shot with an arrow, gold-tipped or not. I knew he’d fucked up his Rock Paper Scissors weapon triangle. The Cybermen catch up.
“It is too late!” Nazi Man crows. “For we now have the arrow and the statue!”
“And the bow?” the Cyber Leader asks sassily.
Oh dear. Nazi Man now realises he does not have the bow. That’s embarrassing. The statue wakes up and grabs the arrow, though, that’s pretty cool and also creepy.
The Doctor remembers that cloaking technology is a thing, and so it emerges there is a whole fleet of ships in space. Uh oh. He decides the best thing to do is to go to the CyberNazi tomb - if they touch the statue with the bow, it will wake up and follow them, so they can run away and set the stage for the final showdown. The Cybermen, for their part, are still just hearing jazz every time they try to contact the fleet. They don’t understand. They really can’t be having with jazz at all. They can’t handle its illogical time signature.
“We have a common enemy!” says Nazi Man, who is somehow still alive. “The Doctor!”
“Yes,” the Cyber Leader says dismissively. “But he’s got to bring us the bow, so we’re just going to kill you and Stooge.”
“I am also here,” agrees Stooge.
“The bow?” Nazi Man cries. “He knows what the Nemesis can do! Do you think he’ll just come in with it?”
“Hello!” says the Doctor cheerfully, appearing in the doorway. “I’ve got the bow!”
Somehow, they impishly play piggy in the middle with the bow and the Doctor's umbrella and... don't get shot by anyone? Wild. This scene is incredible. The Cybermen are still spinning around, trying to work out which way is up. The Nazis are staring in utter disbelief. Everything is chaos. I cannot fathom how that worked.
The Lady, meanwhile, is completely baffled by Hot Gamekeeper saving her, since she has rightly spotted that she’s hardly treated him well.
“Should I not have, my Lady?” asks Hot Gamekeeper.
“I don’t live in a world of ‘shoulds’,” she spits, entirely redundantly given her clear lack of morality or understanding of whether or not you can just open a door or throw a chair clean through it.
“You’re a good man, Hot Gamekeeper,” she says. “But I -” **pauses, stares significantly into the middle distance, summons Voice Of Weighty Importance** “- AM EVIL.”
I just. Cannot tell you. How in love with these two I am. I want an entire series of them. Just a whole series of Lady and Hot Gamekeeper adventures. Smashing through doors and screaming at the void of time.
Anyway, the Nazis use their Nazi gold to escape the Cybermen, and THEN
The greatest segment of television ever aired comes next
Because the Lady and Hot Gamekeeper
LEARN TO HITCHHIKE.
They stop a car and it contains an American tourist.
“I came over from London,” she beams happily, while the Lady glares out of the window.
“Ah, two day’s ride,” Hot Gamekeeper says politely.
“The traffic’s not that bad!” the woman laughs. “Only forty minutes today.”
“Forty minutes!?!” Hot Gamekeeper repeats.
“We never rush in the South,” she says. “I’ve come over to do some research and find my roots."
“This is a good time of year to work on one’s crops, my lady,” Hot Gamekeeper says, trying desperately to keep up in a conversation he lost before he’d even begun.
I. LOVE. HIM.
“My family are from near here!” the tourist tries again.
“The world is going to belong to me,” the Lady suddenly says, apropos of literally nothing at all, still glowering meaningfully out of the window.
“I’m sure it will, honey!” the tourist says enthusiastically. “My ancestors were from that house there.”
“Oh, Gwendolyn,” the Lady spits venomously. “I know her. She stole my cook.”
“You’re a historian!” the tourist says delightedly. “I think Gwendolyn died in 1621.”
“‘Twas a slow poison,” the Lady smiles.
“Poisoned?” cries the tourist. “Unbelievable!”
“Many thought so,” the Lady murmurs.
I’M CRYING FUCK EACH AND EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU “FANS” FOR NOT THINKING THIS STORY IS THE GREATEST PIECE OF DOCTOR WHO HISTORY
HOW DOES THIS STORY KEEP GETTING SLAMMED IN POLLS HOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW
Anyway, the Doctor and Ace go to a barn, or bunker? Where the statue finds them for the final showdown. They put her in the pebble. The Doctor is planning on sending the pebble into space on a rocket, but he needs time to programme it, and the Cybermen will come.
“Don’t worry, Professor!” beams Ace, who apparently stole a bag of gold coins from the Lady's house. “I’ll protect you!”
And she pulls out a slingshot. Ace is going to go into battle against the Cybermen armed with nothing but a slingshot and a bag of gold coins she cyfed from the Middle Ages HOLY FUCK HAS ANY COMPANION EVER BEEN MORE EPIC your fave could never
And she does. She's a Cyber hunter. She is breath-taking. She’s off the fucking chain. She takes out three Cybermen at once with a single coin and their own guns. Meanwhile, the Doctor is preparing to shoot Nemesis at the Cyber fleet. They’re having a chat.
“When can I die?” Nemesis asks.
“When I say so,” the Doctor answers. Christ, this got a bit dark. “Do you know what to do?”
“Kill the Cyber pricks,” Nemesis says.
In any case, eventually all three factions come together - two Nazis, the Cyber leader, and the Lady and Hot Gamekeeper. The Cyber leader immediately kills the Nazis. That's the trash taken out.
"Give me the bow!" the Cyber leader demands. "Or I'll kill you!"
"Give it to me," the Lady announces triumphantly. "Because I know who you are."
GASP
"I know your secrets," she says. "The statue told me. I know your name, and the secrets of Gallifrey. Give me the bow, or I'll tell the Cybermen -"
"We actually don't care about that," says the Cyber leader. "Gimme."
And so, the Doctor hands over the bow to the statue, and the pebble powers up. But the Lady takes it very badly and screams and leaps onto the statue and... sort of… um. Bonds with it? Melds? Gets absorbed? She’s part of it now, I think. They should totally bring her back in the present day, recurring monster, just saying. Hot Gamekeeper is sad. Poor Hot Gamekeeper.
Away goes the pebble. It is blowing up the Cyber fleet instead of joining it or conquering the planet or whatever the fuck the Cybermen were going to do, I dunno. The Leader is furious! He’s going to shoot them!
But Hot Gamekeeper takes the arrow from the TARDIS door and stabs him! Almost a literal gun on the wall. All’s well that ends well.
They give Hot Gamekeeper a lift back to the Middle Ages where he knows what the fuck is going on and screams less.
“Sorry there’s no jazz,” he says. “Here’s a lute instead.”
Well. Turns out he was also a gifted musician. What a lovely man.
AND THAT'S THAT. I cannot fathom why old school fans hate this episode so much. It's an absolute masterpiece. Probably the sorts of people to hate Space Babies, too.
So! New plot points! Just a couple, really.
“She” (an unknown person) is returning (Suspects: River, Missy, Me, Clara)
There is something on Donna’s back
An entire planet, Pyrovilia, just… disappeared, somehow. (Maybe because the TARDIS is exploding??? Saturnine was also lost, and that WAS because of the TARDIS exploding. The lion man’s planet was also lost but he was a bit of a knob about it if I’m honest. The Thijarian planet was destroyed by some sort of impact). Is this the Flux?
Amy is maybe dead (she’s not)
The Doctor has been cubed (he’s out, but how?)
River is possibly blown up (Nope: she is definitely not blown up)
The TARDIS has blown up (It’s fine now. Except it’s sort of melting now because it’s corrupted, but it’s fine again. NOPE, back to not working.)
The universe appears to have ended (the universe is back again)
The Doctor has employed(?) Nardole
(And Nardole was “reassembled???” Nardole had glass nipples and invisible hair?? He used to be blue, and could apparently go back to it??? He’s some sort of helplessly criminal con-artist??? WHAT THE FUCK IS HE)
There’s an immortal Viking girl now. Her name is Me and she’s now looking after the people the Doctor abandons
Why was Rory entirely unconcerned by the entire world suddenly going silent when that is Not Normal and should have been, at the very least, extremely disconcerting?
What did the Doctor do to Queen Lizzie One?
Why is Amy seeing a one-eyed woman in a vanishing window? (She’s with the Silents, but we don’t know why Amy saw her)
Why is Amy’s pregnancy inconclusive? (Maybe because the baby had Time Lord DNA?) She’s deffo pregnant and the baby becomes River, but why inconclusive?
Who is Sarah-Jane Smith?
How is the Doctor Bill’s teacher and why/where does he have an office?
What is going on with the Cyber War and the Cyberium???
What happened with the Other Cyber War? NEW INFO: Were either of these Cyber wars affected by the Doctor blowing them up with Nemesis?
What happened with the Third War that deleted the void?
Why does Rose seem particularly important?
What order do these Doctors go in? (Eccleston, Tennant, uncertain, Smith, Capaldi, Whittaker)
Which companion just… forgot the Doctor, and how?
Yaz and Vinder are about to die as Mori/Mwri/Muuri (Not anymore, somehow)
There is a Lupari shield around Earth.
What’s a Time War? Did this destroy the Doctor's planet and/or family?
What’s the Rift?
What’s Bad Wolf? Gwyneth saw "the Big Bad Wolf" in Rose's mind, and it was on a 1987 poster as graffiti
In which war did the Doctor become a war criminal, and how?
Why has Amy forgotten Rory? How did she forget a Dalek invasion?
Is Rory plastic or not? Yeah, must be, he couldn’t possibly remember being plastic otherwise
Why is the Doctor sulking on a cloud?
How exactly does the Doctor have a cloud?
What exactly happened with Strax to, uh, tame him?
Which friend killed Strax?
Which friend brought Strax back?
Where did this lesbian lizard and human couple come from?
What happened with Clara as Souffle Girl and the Daleks?
How does Clara actually join?
Why so many Claras? A psychic midwife says she’s just normal human
Why is Missy apparently in robo-heaven? Is this because she’s now dead?
Why is probably!Missy pushing Clara and the Doctor together?
What is Trensilor and what happened there?
Who is Handles?
The Doctor is about to be dissolved by a beautiful geode man
The universe is being crushed by the Flux
Will the Doctor open the fobwatch? NEW INFO: Is it actually just a pager?
Sontarans are invading Earth again
Who is Kate?
Who is Osgood? Another name of Clara’s again?
The fuck is the deal with the Grand Serpent
Does Martha get to go to an ice cream planet with 12-fingered massage aliens?
How did the Doctor forget Clara?
Who is Bill’s puddle girlfriend Heather? This is presumably the star-eyed water faerie
How did Nardole die?
When does the Doctor shrink and enter a Dalek called Rusty?
Whittaker is falling to her death rn
Was that ring relevant?
Does anyone know the Doctor’s name? Missy says it’s “Who”
When did Yaz talk to Dan about fancying the Doctor?
When did Dan talk to the Doctor about fancying Yaz?
What’s happening with the bees?
What happened with Donna’s ex and a giant spider?
What war wiped out the Daleks, and is it one of the ones already mentioned?
What did the Doctor mean when he said “The (Daleks) always live, while I lose everything?”
If Dalek Caan is the last Dalek left why are there more now?
How did the rest of the Time Lords die?
How and why did Amy melt?
What’s the question that will make silence fall?
Why do the Silents… want silence to fall?
How and why are Silents at war with the Doctor when he… hasn’t even heard of them?
How does Hitler get out of the cupboard?
What’s the significance of fish fingers and custard?
Why does the Doctor feel guilt about Rose, Martha and Donna?
What happened with the space whale?
When does Rory defend Amy for 2000 years? Since Roman times, it seems
How does the Doctor survive River? He doesn’t, apparently
How does he erase himself from history
Did Captain Jack lose his memories to the same people as the Doctor? What did he lose?
When did the Doctor send the Daleks into a void to save the universe?
What’s with the weird crack in the wall and is it affecting memories?
Why do Amy and Rory think the Doctor is dead? Is it because of River as an astronaut?
Is Matt Smith’s Doctor a tree racist?
Why is the beautiful geode woman stealing people into a Passenger form?
River says she’ll die one day when the Doctor doesn’t remember her, let’s hope she doesn’t mean it
Why doesn’t the TARDIS like Clara?
When was the Master Prime Minister?
When will the Doctor go and rescue Nardole and the colonists?

Hi so I saw that you are open to write for house md and I'd like to ask for a chase fic. Like reader is house's kid and either works at the hospital too or gets admitted there but also knows chase and is in a relationship with him. Plot can be fluffy, smutty and/ or angsty I don't really care but I'd like to know how house would react if he sees them interact etc.
Idk if you see this or like the idea but I wish you the best and I really like your fics
hiiiiii anon!! i love this idea sm and i LOVE ROBERT CHASE WITH MY WHOLE HEARTT. dad house is so sweet and cutesy. i tried my best for u
tags: robert chase x houses kid! reader, one use of y/n, house is stubborn but loves u, just fluff
this is embarrassing. never in your twenty-five years of life would you imagine yourself in the hospital that both your father and boyfriend work at. yet here you are, with a 4 cm laceration on your right hand. the triage nurse had just sent you off and notified you that a doctor will be with you shortly. from your room window you could see dr foreman patting a familiar face on the back, probably saying something along the lines of “this case is yours bud”.
as soon as chase read the report he hurriedly rushed into your room. you shot him a sheepish grin and lifted up your hand to reveal the gash.
“my god, y/n”, he sat down next to you and took your hand gently into his gloved one and inspected the wound. he looked up at you, as if asking for an explanation.
“maybe i shouldn’t garden alone. i picked up this clay pot. the way it was sitting had been bothering me for a couple days now. i’m guess i’m not as strong as i thought i was because i dropped it and as it shattered, it cut me up pretty good.”
chase sighed at your stubbornness, something that had drawn him into you since early in your relationship. he took one of his gloves off and gently stroked your hair. he rambled on about how you should really be more careful and call him if you needed anything too laboring done. you weren’t listening. you were staring into those blue eyes. you weren’t into all that cheesy romance stuff but god, those eyes are stunning. your moment was quickly put to an end when harsh tapping could be heard from outside your window. you knew that sound from anywhere.
“you decided to be the one to doctor on MY kid”
house, or dad as you call him, hastily shuffles into your room and gives you both a judgemental look. robert rolls his eyes,
“foreman gave me the case first, i'm just doin’ my job”.
house hobbles over to check your vitals even though it’s a minor issue compared to what they deal with on a daily basis. you know your dad loves you and cares but he’s not the best at verbally expressing it. you knew he would probably just sit there and observe, so you turn back around to your extremely, worried boyfriend.
“soooo” you drag out the ‘oh’ sound, to show him you’re not worried. “whatcha doin after work handsome?”. chase runs a hand through his blonde hair and lets out a long, exasperated sigh.
“i was planning to go on a cute and sweet date with you, but instead i’m gonna be dr. chase for another 12 hours”.
he sounded tired but you knew he was more than happy to care for his darling. just as you two were planning out your evening, your father and robert’s pagers began harmonizing. chase gives a quick but passionate kids to your temple. house makes his gag be known, sticking a finger in his mouth for dramatic effect.
your dad lingers in the room for a moment, giving your shoulder a squeeze. it’s still gonna take time for him to adjust to the fact his child is dating his co-worker. but you’re not his little baby anymore and he knows it.
when he heads out his parting words are,
“i’ll have someone stitch you up kid, stay put”.
you lean back in the bed and continue to add pressure to your wounded hand. a few minutes pass and your sweet boyfriend stops by again. and takes a seat at the stool beside your bed. he has the tools to stitch up your hand. to distract you from the pain, chase sparks a conversation.
“your old man..” he chews the inside of his cheek. you know exactly what he’s gonna ask. “does he like me? and not as a co-worker. does he think i’m a good fit for his kid?”. your heart sank at the thought of robert thinking he’s not enough. truth is, your dad did like him. though he would never admit it, the fact robert makes you happy, makes your dad happy. he’s real bad at showing it, but you know it’s true.
“he’s a grump, chase. he likes you. he might never admit it. but the fact he hasn’t beaten you to death with that cane of his really says something.”. you can tell your reassurance helped. you loved robert, and he loved you too. before you knew it the stitches were finished. he pulled out a sling from a cabinet so you won’t irritate the stitches too much.
“hey, i’ll get your discharge papers. we’ll have you out of here soon”.
chase pressed a kiss to your lips this time, and he stayed there for a minute. hand on your jaw to keep you steady. you moved your lips in unison, running your free hand through his hair. a sharp pain stabbed your hand and caused you to pulled away and gasp. he reminded you to take some pain medication once home.
before he headed out the door, robert whips around and sternly demands,
“i don’t ever wanna see you in here again.”

My Fairest Dame
Vil and Neige??? Vil and Neige🔥🔥🔥
a one-pager still frame thingy I did for these two based on the visuals from Ambrosio (IMMORTALITY) ... somewhat
Vague idea of movie plot is:
Neige, a village boy meets and eventually falls in love with Vil, a witch doctor(???) in their small little village. They hid their love for a good bit and devious supernatural acts ensued.
Waaaaaaay way later, Vil gets caught for his witchery and executed by the villagers. Neige isnt over it , the movie kinda ends there.
At least that’s the idea I just made up a few seconds ago lmao
#twst#digital art#artists on tumblr#twst wonderland#disney twisted wonderland#vil schoenheit#neige leblanche#rip diva tbh💔
