Hello SF! I don't know if you work with LOts, but if you do I was wondering what do you think of a 1st house Lot of Fortune in Sag (ruled by a Cancer Jupiter in the 8th house)? I have to say it hasn't really... manifested yet. Or maybe it has and I'm not seeing it! THank you for any insight you can give me :)

hello! i honestly do not work with much lots (except specifically upon request), and the reason for that is i have not found them ever to be very useful or reliable!

i also have my lot of fortune in sag ruled by a cancerian jupiter... although different houses. and i don't think it has manifested either. it is possible i will change my mind about this when i'm older and have lived more of life. i have great fortune in many ways, but not the traditional ways of this lot. so maybe this is the case for you as well.

i wish i had more to say to you on this but i am simply not that big on the lots, lol. but it's possible that just due to the human tendency to not see things as they truly are we have missed something... i don't think so though, because i don't see other people's lots playing out either.

Just two things I hope do not happen with the new Netflix Devil May Cry anime after watching the lyrics video.

First, I hope they do not ship Lady and Dante canonically...these two are beautiful characters on their own. As it is already established in the DMC canon, they see each other more as brother-sister and Morrison confirms it. I hope that is respected. I don't mind any other love interest for Dante...like Lucia, Beryl or a totally new character since this anime is not canon. But Trish and Lady cannot be that choice. Or so I hope.

Second, I hope they do not imply Lady is at par with Dante in terms of power and strength. Do not get me wrong, I love strong female characters but in their own agency. The beauty of Lady character is that she is human yet she has come so far in the Demon hunting business. It is well established from old anime that Lady is not at par even with Trish. By the very fact that in one episode Lady was fighting to kill Trish, while Trish was just messing with her. Yet the Lady couldn't do much damage. The DMC universe in canon makes it very clear that humans might be able to fight a few lesser demons, but they are not at all at par even with the whole military. Let alone a sole Lady. Also in DMC 4, Lady knows she can't deal with the whole Fortuna fiasco on her whole and needs help. Hence, enlisting Dante or in the old anime Highway episode. Lady strength is knowing when she can fight and when she needs help.

Ghost solo gruñó entre dientes, recordando con vacilación un par de situaciones en las que notaba desde lejos a compañeros de trabajo intentando algo contigo y, desde su perspectiva, tú eras completamente ajeno a lo que pasaba.

"Ya he visto suficientes ocasiones de distintas personas diciéndote indirectas." Contestó con un resoplido. "Y lo máximo que haces es quedarte ahí parado haciendo absolutamente nada. Ni te das cuenta cuando literalmente están coqueteando contigo."

Los Batipobres: Bruce, Alfred y los chicos. Introducción.

"En un mundo oscurecido por la corrupción, el crímen y villanos con posgrados, una figura que vigila desde las sombras se encarga de llevarlos a la justicia y marcar en sus existencias el terror...

-Amo Bruce, me parece que debe deshacerse ya de esta capa, la última vez la policía lo confundió con un mendigo."

Varias décadas atrás, la familia Wayne contaba con prestigio, una fortuna cimentada por una excelente administración de bienes raíces; Thomas Wayne era un respetado doctor y su esposa toda una dama de sociedad. Volvían del cine con su hijo Bruce cuando el destino jugó sus cartas contra ellos y, al no tener listo un testamento para proteger al pequeño, algunos familiares y socios aprovecharon la situación para llenar sus bolsillos y dejar en la calle al niño y su mayordomo.

Con ese cambio de circunstancias, Alfred Pennyworth puso su parte para proteger a Bruce, ayudándolo con sus estudios y enseñándole a defenderse, a respetar la vida y apreciar el arte, entre otras cosas. Pero no pudo lograr que el pequeño olvidara el dolor por la pérdida de sus padres y la injusticia, no sólo la que se cometió contra él, sino la que afectaba a cientos, sino es que miles de personas. Alguien tenía que hacer algo.

Y ahí estaban, en un pequeño local de comida durante el día y la tarde, pretendiendo ser personas comunes que nadie pensaría que en las noches, sin excepción alguna, eran los vigilantes que se encargaban de enfrentar al crimen y salvar a los pobres ciudadanos de ciudad Gótica, aún cuando éstos no quisieran.

-¡Muy buenas tardes! -Según dependiendo de la hora más bien, era habitual para cualquiera que entrara por la puerta del pequeño restaurante ser recibido con un muy alegre tono y una gran sonrisa del mayor de los jóvenes que estuviesen al cuidado de Bruce Wayne. Principalmente si alguno que otro delincuente o achichincle se quedaban de ver en el restaurante para planear el atraco, golpe o delito que ejecutarían en horas o días. Timothy Jackson Drake, o Tim como le decían los demás, era un muchacho de ojos azules y cabellos negros, que si uno lo veía por primera o enésima vez, pensaría que al chico no lo habían alimentado bien en toda su vida, de que requería cuidados... especiales y cortar su suministro diario de café de perdido a la mitad, cosa que ni loco lo haría aún si la vida se le fuera en ello. A mucha gente le agradaba porque él sabía bien cómo relacionarse con los demás, con excepción de un par de conocidos claro está. El chico llegó a la vida de Bruce y compañía gracias a un volante del restaurante, el cuál encontró tirados en varias de las escenas donde hubiera avistamientos del murciélago y Robin, descubriendo sus identidades al ir una tarde al local de comida y confirmarlo con sus propios ojos. Bruce aceptó integrarlo tanto en su vida como en su trabajo nocturno para evitar que hiciera pública su descubrimiento mientras le servía un shortcake de fresas y una malteada de chocolate.

Jason Peter Todd era el segundo de los muchachos que se refugió bajo las alas del murciélago. Su corta, a veces intermitente, carrera criminal preocupó tanto a Bruce que decidió convertirlo en Robin, pensando que eso le ayudaría a andar en el buen camino. Cosa que no se logró por completo tras quedar en coma por una paliza, intentando hacer las cosas por su cuenta, siendo que se le prohibiera actuar por cuenta propia. Su personalidad cambió mucho tras despertarse en el hospital, y darse cuenta de que Bruce no sólo había había integrado a Drake como el nuevo Robin, sino que despreció la oportunidad de echarle mano a la fortuna del chico, nomás porque decía que ese dinero no era algo que él debiera manejar.

-Vaya tonto. -Pensaba Todd mientras limpiaba el suelo que había ensuciado sin soltar el refresco que aún no se terminaba. -¿Eh?

La presencia de Damian Thomas Wayne Al Ghul no sólo fue una sorpresa para Bruce, sino para todo aquél que lo conocía. Nadie podía explicarse, y él menos, como de un día para otro apareciera un niño de 10 años en la cocina del restaurante diciendo, y confirmado por su madre, que no esperaba que su padre no fuera tan alto como él creía, así como aprender acerca de su nivel socio-económico. Por suerte, Alfred se sacó de la manga que posiblemente la concepción del niño ocurriese durante unas "vacaciones" que se tomara Bruce un tiempo atrás.

A Talia Al Ghul casi le daba un soponcio al ver que su Amado no era lo que creyera que fuera. Aunque casi inmediatamente después, hasta la fecha, le propuso darle una infinidad de riquezas que ningún otro hombre pudiera soñar a cambio de que se casara con ella. Jason hasta la fecha sigue pensando que Bruce debería aceptar, o de perdido ser su "Sugar Baby"

En serio, Jason.

Pero volviendo a Damian, el chiquillo de piel morena, cabello negro y ojos verdes tuvo un par de días... difíciles para adaptarse a lo que sería su nueva... vida. En realidad, todavía está batallando un poco para la transición de una vida como el heredero de la Liga de los Asesinos a... una vida como el hijo del Vigilante Nocturno, que en ocasiones no tiene ni en donde caerse muerto. Al menos, desde el primer día, aseguró su lugar como el Rey del Patio de la escuela pública a que asiste actualmente.

BIOGRAFIA

A história dos Essaex é há muito contada, difundida por Aldanrae com a glória de uma família que conquistou o local de prestígio que ocupa com perspicácia e merecimento. O legado atrelado ao nome seria tomado como a maior das honrarias por muitos, mas para Caelan sempre foi um fardo; desde o momento em que nasceu, estava fadado a viver pelos outros, ainda que tenha muito a dizer sobre isso. Talvez não exista sequer uma pessoa na corte do Imperador que não esteja a par dos desafios comportamentais do príncipe herdeiro, que desde muito pequeno dava um baile em seus guardas e escapava ardilosamente mesmo sob as mais atentas vigílias. Caelan não queria saber da rigidez de um milhão de regras, energético em demasia e sempre insatisfeito em passar suas tardes enfurnado em uma sala com os melhores e mais entediantes tutores do reino. Mesmo com uma infância marcada de mais percalços do que ditava a sanidade e o senso comum, a esperança era que o jovem melhorasse com sua ida a Hexwood, ou ao menos dizia Seamus sempre que questionado sobre as atitudes juvenis do filho mais velho. Foi esse o primeiro momento que, para ele, de fato registrou a responsabilidade real que recaia sobre os ombros do rapaz, quem até então ficava perfeitamente confortável em se esgueirar pelas ruelas da cidade e aprontar o que lhe desse na telha. Não era exatamente irresponsável, mas ficava imensamente mais feliz como frequentador de cassinos e tavernas do que como futuro Imperador, ainda que os infinitos privilégios da posição lhe coubessem muito bem. As pessoas podiam comentar, mas nunca cruzar a linha.

Além de tudo, para sua imensa frustração, se provou muito bom em fazer magia. Possuía um entendimento profundo do aeons e uma interpretação criativa destes, talvez por conta de sua personalidade propensa a trambicagens e um olhar apurado para procurar entre frestas. Durante sua formação em Hexwood, escondeu o máximo de seu talento para criação de feitiços de sua família, afinal sua pretensão sempre foi parecer o mais incompetente possível para que pudesse, de alguma forma, adiar a tomada de responsabilidade que seu posto, seu título, prometia.

Caelan gosta de cultivar uma reputação de preguiçoso e despreocupado, em sua maioria para que as pessoas evitem lhe pedir qualquer coisa. Ainda assim, tem suas próprias ambições além das que foram impostas a ele; quer ser pioneiro em algo, escapar dos laços de um legado que nunca quis herdar de toda forma. Possui grande interesse nos reinos da Penumbra e nos últimos anos tem trabalhado em novos feitiços que explorem melhor características dos universos paralelos. This is something a little different from what I usually post and I wanted to just try something new and also go down the route of lots and asteroids eventually. So, with that being said, I hope you enjoy!

Part of Fortune in the 1st house

Having your Part of Fortune in the 1st house is a pretty lucky placement to have imo.
