poseidon’s wrath is always scary and would definitely bring the others to their knees, but once he brings percy back he keeps him in his palace so “he won’t be kidnapped again”. so now percy is stuck in his father’s palace until hades can broker a deal for percy to stay part of the time in his realm so nico stops moping again. basically love isn’t always the healthiest and there’s toxic platonic and romantic love galore in this au.

percy just wants his mom and he’ll have to find his own way to see her again just like when he first entered the world of myths and legends.

💚: Percy Weasley my beloved in so sorry that people who aren’t Percy stans don’t understand your complicated relationship with you family. I feel like people want to take things at face value. They want to see black and white and take sides. Family relationships are very complicated and we are seeing things from Harry’s pov. Of course he’s going to take Arthur’s side. He sees no reason to go against the Weasleys because they took him in and everything. (I mean he was an abused child. The Weasleys aren’t perfect but Harry would probably defend them till the day he dies.) It also doesn’t help the siblings he usually hangs out don’t like Percy that much. (I get sibling humor but some of what they say about him is kinda of mean)

💖: I feel like all my opinions aren’t that unpopular in a way I feel like they’ve been discussed before I think. I don’t know I guess I really wished Harry didn’t end up with Ginny. Like ginny is such a good character. But because jkr has internalized misogyny, she can’t write female characters that well. So Ginny is treated as an afterthought. Honestly, she hates seeing women perceived with “feminine” traits. Like the main female characters are given “not like other girl traits.” So I do feel like the females aren’t given great treatment. Honestly, she writes like a male manga writer. They can’t write women so all the main characters (who are male) tend to have deeper relationships with their male friends. Honestly it would have been interesting if Harry didn’t end up with anyone.

My real answer is my own boys Rook and Carrion, but if I'm not allowed to answer with my own OCs, then it's Caleb Widogast (really all of the Mighty Nein, but Caleb is my most beloved boy), literally anyone from Black Sails (they're all awful, and I love them all) but especially Silver, Flint, Anne, and Max; Kaz Brekker, Nikolai Lantsov, Viktor arcane (and Jinx a bit), the Doctor (esp. the 10th Doctor), Percy Jackson, LOCKE LAMORA the og idiot-genius bastard man, and Ballister Blackheart + Nimona. This is a long list, but I have over 280 books in my bedroom, and also get too attached to fictional characters.

3. do you leave the window open at night?

When I'm at school, yes, because my building was built in the 1930s and is heated by awful radiators that spit out literally 85 degree air, so keeping your windows open is essential unless you want to die of heatstroke at night. In all three years I've lived in this dorm building (different rooms, but same building) the only time I've ever closed my window from the day I moved in til the day I moved out was over winter break between semesters bc I'm gone for a month and they do room checks and mandate that we close them. Yes, it was open even when it was literally 7 degrees Farenheit last February. At home at my mom's or dad's I do not, partly bc those houses have functional AC and heat, and also partly because I have had a very very very strong somewhat irrational fear of my cats falling out a window. (I say somewhat bc it did actually happen one time. But I had that fear for years even before that. Don't worry, he only fell like 2 feet and ran up onto the porch and came back inside the second we opened the door. But truly one of the scariest experiences of my life.)

24. if we were together on a rooftop, what would we be doing?

You and me? Absolutely discussing critical role and dnd, and bg3 and P:WotR. I'd like to imagine we're doing it while stargazing, too. I've always wanted to stargaze on a roof.

33. the last adventure you’ve been on?

If you count driving a 2001 volkswagon beetle that is set up for someone 6 inches shorter than you and the seat is stuck so you can't move it to go get tested for strep throat and covid, then I did that a couple hours ago. If you want an actually FUN adventure, idk. I don't go many places. Maybe going to the renaissance festival with @goldenwaves over Labor Day weekend? Since then I've basically just been stuck on campus doing school, but that was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life. (I've always wanted to go to a ren faire, so this was perfect. The idea came up at 2am on a Saturday, and by Sunday afternoon, I had bought plane tickets.)

So im doing higher triple science and the first question was written so dramatically XD

Like whoa, its so dramatic to how usually they write sentences with nice and flowing lines and stuff. This immedietly felt like how a fanfic wacks you with stuff. It almost made me laugh XD

Also for the "give an antibiotic question" i almost giggled again as i wrote "paracetamol" like, paracetamol my beloved, all of those headaches and period pains you've quelled, i shall dedicate this 1 mark to you 💖

But i finished when the combined students finished and left, so did most of the other triple students, so we just sat there for 30 mins =_=. I went to the toilet cuz i so very smartly decided to drink an entire cup of juice right before foing in. I also filled my water bottle to take it in with me, then i proceeded to forget to bring it in with me, how wonderful.

Im so confident that i got basically all the marks for Q5, the potato osmisis practical and i wrone so so much for it so i really hope i get full marks for that section.

That paper was amazing, aqa blessed us with this easy exam and i am so happy! ^v^

in the last batch of eggs, everyone hatches sometime in early august, all but ONE egg. poseidon is frustrated and wants this damn kid to hatch already cuz it's getting dangerously close to percy's bday and he does NOT want anyone sharing that precious date with his precious daughter. but dory's stubborn ass just REFUSES to hatch (this is completely unintentional btw, baby!dory just can't help it lmao)

Honestly, I haven’t written too much of the platonic connections within the Super Six into my fics yet. But, I cannot help but give Pez some screen time.

I so completely adore Pez and Henry’s friendship. That being said, I’m also so in love with Pez’s character that I am terrified of writing him and doing any sort of disservice to the enigma that is Percy Okonjo. So, I still find myself straying away from really diving into including Pez. One of these days…

A Snippet From a Current WIP?

A snippet from an assassination attempt WIP, that will still not be posted for quite some time—

“Forever” moved from being feeling, something Alex could feel waltzing in the air around Henry, to something hiding in the corners of their brownstone. It whispered in the steam rising from their mugs– early gray for Henry, coffee with only sugar and cinnamon for Alex. In the way the mug was always hot and waiting for him on the counter when Alex finally dragged himself out of their bed and down the stairs, long minutes after Henry had convinced himself to stir.

(Henry admitted once that the cinnamon was a stolen strategy: one selfishly burrowed away into his memory after tracing the words along the fact sheet that had fallen into his lap the weekend all those years ago. Almost like his own personal four-leaf clover.)

Now, “forever” peeked out from the chain hanging above their sink, swaying softly in the breeze, when they eased the window open in the spring. The key and ring clinking together like piano keys; the melody so far away from the dependence they used to cling to in order to ground themselves.

(Alex whispered to Henry one night, bodies still damp beneath a light sheet. It had been when the touch of their skin against one another was still new. The butterflies still fluttered in quiet nervousness. Both of them were still in awe that they were allowed this now.

Alex’s eyes stayed closed, and the chain along his neck rose and fell quickly with his still-racing heart. He whispered into Henry’s neck that it was funny– how he never took this key off, but he had never felt further from the boy he had been in Texas. Henry had held him closer, let the warmth of his skin pour into Alex’s while the gravity of deciding to go to law school, to relax his grip on the idea of a life he had picked for himself, had run himself ragged trying to hold on to, sunk in.)

“Forever” inked itself into the ring along their left hands, and the phone numbers of florists and highlighted tasting appointments dotted along their shared calendar by the door.

Happy wasn’t novel or exhilaratingly new anymore. It was comfortable and safe now, like the sound of waves lapping at the dock of the lake house, or the echo of solitary footsteps around the marble halls of the V&A.

Perhaps that's why the red of Alex’s blood along his crisp button down, blooming like the freshly steeped agua de jamaica Henry had sipped nervously his first time meeting Alex’s tías, confused Henry at first. He had to hear the pop echo along the street, chased away by shrill screams of people around them. He had to watch Alex watch the spot creep out. He had to watch Alex press his shaking hand, glinting with that damn ring, against his chest. He had to watch Alex’s knees give out and race towards the concrete of the sidewalk before he understood.
