Can you do playmate Yarnaby with little player headcanons

Yarnaby sees player as a friend despite Sawyer sending him out to attack them

Playmate! Yarnaby & Little! Player

In the surprise of the player {who was regressed}, instead of attacking them Yarnaby bounced off on them & licking them while they were giggling

Meanwhile Sawyer {a.k.a. The doctor} was cussing at his pet to do "his Job"

Yarnaby takes his {new} job as player‘s playmat seriously

Very protective, makes sure that his new friend‘s not getting hurt

Even after he started living with the player {& the others} he won’t leaving the little one‘s side

The player has a lot of cat toys for Yarnaby so they could play with each other

He carried the player like a lion cub/kitten or on his back, especially when they’re tired

Mommy long legs has to make sure that non of those rascals ending up getting caught up in the cables or bumping on the furniture, they would get hurt

Yarnaby doesn’t remember when it was the last time he had so much joy or was treated so kindly

I asked for people to send me in characters and then I would rank them. This was open fandom so half of the characters I didn't know and simply went off of vibes. If you agree, awesome! -Harvey: Caregiver! Tired dad vibes for real, who always drinking too much coffee. Little one giving him puppy dog eyes is just like ‘oh, you want some too?’ <- terrible idea, he’ll never learn /lh

Pokemon~

-Prof. Sycamore: Caregiver or babysitter, just because I feel like he would be quite forgetful. Like unless his little one has obvious tells that they are regressed (ie. Using a pacifier, slurred speech, different comfy clothes, etc.) He’s going to just forget, or just overlook it. Ah I don’t know how to put that. Like he’s still sweet and caring just… a bit silly me thinks

Animal Crossing~

-Bones (animal crossing): Toss up between being a babysitter known for spoiling the littles he looks after with treat and cuddles, or a regressor… I’m leaning more towards babysitter personally. Also I think he would help his little one in the making of putting on a puppet show;

-Nya: Flip caregiver leaning. I feel like she's regressed with her brother before either because he wanted a playmate, or just to be like there's nothing to feel bad about. So maybe that would put her more as an age dreamer... hmmm welp, too late to redo the list now XD

-Cole: caregiver, going off of the wiki here but the fact that he seems to be very parental to those younger than him. Hates letting his little one down, so even over the smallest detail he's going to make sure everything goes smoothly to the best of his ability

Genshin~

-Ayato: I was going to say caregiver, but upon further consideration, puppy regressor. Wants to be little with his sister around but also, no talking, he’s delt enough with people all day if he wants interaction then he’ll initiate it himself. And being in puppy space no need to talk, just woofs. Also because of his role the idea of ‘age regressing’ in the typical sense leaves a bad taste in his mouth

-Ayaka: Caregiver coded. Looks after her brother a lot but also just enjoys being able to still take care of someone but just with less pressure to do everything perfect. Healing in it’s own way. I think maybe she would age dream from time to time, but never fully regress

-Aether: To no ones shock at all, regressor. I want to say that back with his sister he was a flip and they would take care of each other but without his other half and way to much put on his shoulders he’s solely just a little one now

-Wriothesley: Puppy regressor, specifically a german shepherd or Doberman, or any other dog breed with ‘scary dog privileges. Thinks he’s the scariest little guy. His caregiver’s see him as their adorable pup.

-Venti: Caregiver who's the best with baby regressor's. They're his little wisp and he plays lullaby's for them and is just the best at settling down fussy little ones.

-Kaeya: Caregiver. He has the best stories to tell his little ones and he definitely spoils them rotten. Regressor so much as looks at something twice and he'll get it for them

-Diluc: Flip caregiver leaning + pet regressor. Something something being a wolf regressor. He would probably chomp on his brother's arm just to annoy him, but also love noms. Also like I have said waaaay too many times on my blog, he would just have a soft spot for little ones trust me.

-Albedo: Regressor & pet regressor. Never really had a real childhood so age and pet regression kinda blur within one another. Snow leopard regressor or a husky regressor. He can spend an abnormal amount of time out in the cold and is quite content in doing so.

Overwatch~

-Mercy: Caregiver Oooh big sister caregiver. Going purely off of vibes but I mean. She just feels like she would be great with baby regressors. Just to be swaddled in soft blankets and fluffy wings to protect you. Also adding wanting to look after her little ones in a way that she was never taken care if as a child

Ace Attorny~

-Maya: Pet regressor. She’s has a kitten space that’s always getting her into mischief.

AOT~ We are going off of vibes here purely because I don’t know the first thing about this series

-Armin Arlert: Toddler regressor or baby space regressor, I can't quite come to a decision. Curious kiddo who is so easily distracted by everything

-Eren Jaeger: Middle regressor, usually older than Armin, though I could also see him being a toddler in his terrible twos. Lot of temper tantrums/meltdowns when little because of having so many emotions just bubbling over the surface.

-Mikasa Ackerman: Oh yeah 100% caregiver coded. I was going to label all three as littles, but I just think she needs to look after someone just to heal from her own childhood. Also because her friends are all she has left she wants to make sure they're as happy and comfortable as possible

🩷 - perma-regressor himiko!!! repressing herself and her identity for so long as a child led to her struggling to grow up. she tried so hard to be normal for so long, filled with so much self loathing and confusion for why she was so different, that it led to her regressing in order to heal the inner child that was so shamed and hurt. her age range fluctuates but she usually stays around the 3-6 mark. she can “act her age” or even be her age mentally, but she’s usually partially regressed or age dreaming no matter what.

🩷 - the league do everything they can to make sure that she’s safe and happy. as the youngest, she always eats first because it’s hard getting food when you’re on the run and, if there’s a bed wherever they’re squatting, it always goes to her. whenever they go out for supply runs, someone inevitability has a gift for her— usually a stuffed animal or some kind of regression gear that she doesn’t have yet. they always make sure to remind her that she’s adorable and they never judge her for the ways that she expresses herself (though, they do try to make sure she does it safely because it’s always a little nerve wracking having a four year old wielding a knife).

🩷 - they’re all family but the specific dynamics between her and each member are a little different. she views dabi as an older brother, which is equally heartwarming and a little triggering for him but he plays it off well. twice isn’t the most responsible caregiver but he is her best friend and he loves her very much and is always playing dolls with her, never once judging the way her violent tendencies come out. shigaraki is more of a playmate since he also regresses, though he doesn’t let her touch his gaming systems and only lets her watch him play things, even if its a baby game that he wouldn’t really enjoy. she finds mr. compress to be really cool and latches onto him as the oldest member of the league. and spinner is more of a babysitter and probably the most awkward about caregiving because he’s always nervous about scaring her, but she likes when he holds her because she likes touching his scales and he’s super strong.

🩷 - big sis magne gets her own section because little himiko loves her big sister so much! himiko was the eldest in her family and she never got to experience having older siblings so she feels particularly attached to magne and dabi. dabi is usually the one that does her hair because he used to do fuyumi’s hair when they were little, but dabi can’t braid hair to save his life so it’s usually mag giving himiko more elaborate braids with ribbons and bows. himiko also loves having girl days where she and mag can spend time together without the boys. they like to go out shopping (usually stealing cute outfits or makeup after trying them on) or they sometimes splurge with actual money to go to the spa together.

🩷 - himiko doesn’t really have any nicknames for the league, even though they use a variety of pet names for her (it’s usually compress, twice, and magne), but she does sometimes call mag mommy and mr. compress daddy when she slips younger. it’s usually from nightmares about her real parents and she struggles to tell the difference between adults when she’s upset so she projects those fears on to them. they both take it in stride and comfort her as if she were their actual daughter, even if it’s heartbreaking to have her cower in fear from them while promising that she’ll be a good girl. they always encourage her to slip younger when she regresses normally to try and combat against that fear.

🩷 - she loves skipping when she’s small and it’s her preferred way to get around. if she’s traveling in the city with someone else in the league, she always forces them to skip with her. it’s horrible (/affectionate) for most of them, with twice being the only one who does so happily, but she’s spoiled rotten by them so there’s videos of every single league member skipping down the street with her (usually recorded by dabi who thinks it’s hilarious until it happens to him and suddenly it’s spinner laughing while he mans the camera).

Wyll Ravengard Agere Hcs:

wyll is my favorite character in bg3 but I feel like I rarely see any agere hcs for him so I'm making my own (spoilers ahead for wylls story and just stuff that happens in the game)

Hes a flip but mostly regressor leaning

He regresses to around 2-9 but after being turned he tends to be around 3

A good boy! He's good at following rules even when hes little

Also loves helping out even when little, he many not do as much as he can when hes big but he will help do small things like get stuff and put certain things away

Clingy boy! Hes touch starved and has been alone for a while and now that he has people who are with him and care about him he just wants to be held or hug someone

He also loves getting his head pet and holding hands with someone, it makes him so happy and having his head pet makes him feel even smaller

Hes an emotional boy, can be very weepy at times especially when tired

He tries to spend time with everyone but has a tendency to spend time with Astarion and Karlach when he can (they're his playmates!)

I hc him as having autism and adhd and because of that can struggle with overstimulation which has caused him to almost throw tantrums (though never fully)

I also hc him as trans and while I imagine he didn't have a typical "boy" or "girl" childhood growing up I like to think he likes trying boyish stuff when he can

Loves praise, call him a good boy or tell him how good hes doing and he gets very happy

After transforming it really affected him and he struggled to regress because of his body and because it felt wrong to him (that's no longer the case now and he can regress easily)

His regression is mostly voluntary but there has been times where it was involuntary

Don't call him pet at all, he was called it once before by a person and it caused him to involuntary regress and breakdown after (the camp was able to calm him down and comfort him thankfully)

When hes on the littler side he does use pacifiers but when hes older he uses chew toys

He never really uses diapers, hes pretty good about going to the bathroom but there are very small times where he needs one

Loves playing pretend and telling stories with his toys, whether hes alone or with others he loves to do it

Also loves reading, doesn't matter what he loves to read (as long as it's kid friendly of course)

Dancing is another thing he loves to do, hes not as steady when little but still loves to dance until he falls on his butt lol

Hates being punished, even thought it rarely (if at all) happens he gets upset, cries easily, and apologies a lot (he only ever gets put in time out if he does get punished thats about it)

Also hates yelling he gets really scared when he hears yelling and will cover his ears or hide

He struggles to go to bed because I hc he has bad nightmares and it scares him to fall asleep (thankfully having someone to hold him seems to help a lot so the companions will do that)

When he does wake up from a nightmare he will take his stuffy and go to one of the other companions tent, wake them up, have them hold him as he cries, and then fall asleep laying with them

Likes to play silly pranks on the others in the camp, usually small stuff like moving some things around, taking a thing, or even putting on one of the companions clothes but nothing too big

He rarely throws tantrums but one of the few times he did was when he thought he was gonna lose his dad (he didn't and they saved him thankfully) because he was so scared (honestly none of them couldn't blame him and Karlach and Astarion just held him as it happened)

Mizora did know about his regression and at times used it against him (it forced him to stop regressing for a long while)

He has a tendency to ignore himself and not regress when he really needs to/should so sometimes the other companions need to help give him a little push so he can stop and regress

Depending on how little he is he will use nicknames for the other companions

While he likes reading by himself he also loves being read to, it makes him happy

Even though he and Astarion are playmates because of how different they can be they will sometimes get into arguments and even fights but they always apologize to each other in the end

Even though Wyll is a somewhat light sleeper when hes little hes actually a heavy sleeper, its unsure why

He, Astarion, and Karlach are the chaos trio, they will probably pull pranks and make lots of messes, they are hyper together

He struggles to control how loud he gets when hes little, he doesn't mean to it's just hard

He loves giving gifts to people, even if it's just things like rocks he loves giving it to them because it shows he loves them he will spend a lot of time looking for things he can give to people (the companions have a lot of random things from him because of it)

Even when hes little he doesn't really expect help so when he does he doesn't know how to react and will end up saying it's okay and that he's got it even when he doesn't

Also while he doesn't expect help it makes him happy when he does and makes him feel little, especially for things like bathing, eating, and putting on clothes

When hes sick he becomes even more little and clingy, he just feels terrible and wants to have love and support he can't help it

Meeting the companions is probably the first time he felt like he could truly be okay and actually be able to fully regress after signing the contract with Mizora and being banished, he struggled for so long and now he feels like he doesn't have to worry anymore and it makes him so happy

S.Coups: We’re talking about the guy Kidult was written for… so yes. I think he’d want an outlet and a way to regain some of his childhood years. He might be a bit reluctant, assuming that age regression only means baby regression. But he might be willing to try, eventually slipping into an unfamiliar headspace of maybe a 6-8 year old. He would need it to be triggered, I don’t know if he could just throw himself into headspace like that. And I don’t think he’d fully give up responsibilities and regress any younger, he’s too on-guard for that.

But what’s a coloring book and storytime to a big, strong leader really? He could get used to this.

Jeonghan: When you ask him about regressing, he shakes his head and smiles. Probably calls you his sweet baby and lets you down easy, then goes back to whatever he was doing. He won’t try regressing because he simply doesn’t think it’s necessary but will get in a heated argument with you only a week later over a game of Candy Land.

He’s sure you cheated and he’s giving you the silent treatment, tossing pieces weakly at you and pouting. You decide not to tell him that yeah, throwing a full blown, unironic tantrum because you won a game is… technically regression.

Hoshi: This little tiger is eager to try regressing with you! You’re lonely and have nobody to play with? No worries because your favorite playmate Soonie is there! He probably unintentionally regresses to a very young age likes to wrestle and roughhouse and chew things (I think he’d be more of a pet regressor or pet dreamer, now that I’m thinking about it… which is fine! Because now little you gets to have a super cool pet tiger who will play with you and protect you from mean, old, stupid people!)

DK: Okay, so… you don’t actually ask Dokyeom to regress or anything at all. He’s just coloring with you and asking the usual questions like “would you like the purple crayon, sunshine?” when he gets the urge to color as well. Just for nostalgia sake, you know?

After about an hour of coloring, you show him your drawing. He cheers and praises you for coloring in the lines, trying to shove away the fuzzy feeling in his own head and bashfully asks if he can show you his own scribbled drawing. He’s slipping a little bit towards a toddler age but doesn’t want to explore that any further right now.

Mingyu: Mingyu… might give it a shot. He asks a lot of questions, some of which he’s admittedly a little bit embarrassed by. I don’t know if he could regress while you’re regressed because I think he needs the stability of someone watching over him. If you were in your big headspace and could babysit him, he might give it a try and purposely try to trigger a little headspace for fun. Not sure what his age range is, but I don’t think babyspace. He might feel embarrassed at the end of the day and reserve those feelings for only special occasions and bad days.

Vernon: I know he’s stoic and whatever, but Vernon is very open minded and chill. The second you tell him how relaxed you feel in little space, he’s in as long as he can regress in private (it’s a little embarrassing to him still, leave him alone). I think he’d regress to a really little age, littler than you (maybe infant-toddler?). He likes to chew on things and steal your toys to organize them and likes to play pretend with you… very little brother coded, despite being an older sibling. Oh, and make sure to wash his pacifiers and chewies because yeah, he drops them on the floor and laughs when you have to pick them back up and rinse them. He likes to do it on purpose.

Dino: Dino’s lowkey little anyways. He doesn’t wanna be looked down on and acts like he hates being doted on, but finds it endearing. I think he’s so used to it that he’s unintentionally embraced how small it makes him feel. Probably regresses to an older age, maybe 5 or 6, but doesn’t call it age regression.

As a royal, he knows that rules and routines are a must to keep everything in order and little ones happy and healthy. However, he isn’t too strict; he’s authoritative like Ragatha.

He has a lot of insect-themed regression gear (stuffies, sippy cups, bottles, pacis, etc.). He also has insect-themed toys and books.

Speaking of books, Kinger loves reading to his littles. He likes to put on funny voices for the characters in each story he reads.

He throws the best royal tea parties! Gangle and Ragatha are always the guests. Pomni also joins in after warming up.

Kinger plays Animal Crossing with Gangle. She lets him catch the bugs and fish while she digs up fossils and designs the island and clothes.

He lets Gangle decorate his robe with stickers when she asks him.

He likes to put on Lu & the Bally Bunch, Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, Beat Bugs, and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom for the littles. The shows are always a huge hit! /pos

He collects Jellycats and Squishmallows like Ragatha and Gangle. He can have insect-related ones as a treat :3

He also has insect Pillow Pets.

After episode three, Kinger started looking after Pomni more, and Gangle was excited to have a playmate/sibby.

Pairing: CG!Husk & Little!Angel

Description: Angel stays up late waiting for his Papa to come home, if only so he can get tucked in properly. Luckily, he isn’t left waiting for too long and Husk (and Fat Nuggets) can treat him to some cuddles. (All comfort, no hurt)

Angel laid on his playmat, Fat Nuggets and plushies surrounding him like a halo.  Lullaby tunes drifted from his Hellphone, the tranquil notes suggesting that it was almost time to sleep.  Indeed, Angel’s eyes had been fluttering shut for the past ten minutes, only to startle open again.

Cant sleep yet, Angel thought, rubbing his eyes.  Papa not home yet.

Without Papa, who would tuck him in?  Who would check under the bed for monsters?  Technically, he could ask the other Hazbin residents, but they didn’t do it right!  Sir Pentious was just as scared of monsters as Angel was, Vaggie didn’t check carefully enough, he didn’t trust Alastor, and Charlie always tried to make him face his fear by checking under the bed with her.  

Only Husk would check the closet, the corners, under the closet and bed, and in the toy chest without question.  Only Husk could give him a tight hug properly—stuffy enough that he felt safe but not so tight that he couldn’t breathe.  Only Husk would also say goodnight to Fat Nuggets and remind him of his duties as Angel’s sleeping buddy (“Remember, Fat Nuggets, Angel needs snuggles all night long.  You’re his best piggy buddy, so it’s your job to make sure he’s safe and comfy,” he would say every night without fail)

Husk would never forget to turn on the nightlight, or to leave the door open just a crack.  Husk would come check on him an hour or so after tucking him in to make sure he was sleeping, and if not he would read a quick story or give him another plushie to make him more comfortable.  Husk would ruffle his quaff as they sat in the rocking chair.  He would hold all of Angel’s hands when he was scared, them carefully gathered in his paws and held close to his heart,

So Angel had to stay awake until Kitty came home!  He had to run an errand for Alastor, which involved him leaving the Hotel for a little while.  Angel had been Big when he left…but now that it was bedtime he wanted him to come home as fast as possible!  Mentally, Angel added this to the list of reasons he disliked that Radio Demon.

Angel rolled over onto his side to watch Fat Nuggets snuffling around the carpet.  The pig’s round body and adorable little snorts practically begged to be cuddled with.  He cooed, giggling breathily as his pet nosed one of the plushies with his snout.

Attention caught, Nuggets looked up and titled his head.  Thrilled by the small gesture, Angel’s smile widened immensely.  At the call of more mumbles, Fat Nuggets trotted up to him.  Both squealed delightfully as Angel scooped up his pig, the best he could while his dexterity had decreased and he laid on his side.  Nonetheless, the end product ended with them cuddled close together.

Just as thoughts of his favorite cat fillies his head again, threatening to overspill into tears, there was a fumbling at the door.  Angel craned and twisted his neck towards the source of the noise, heart filling with hope as the knob turned.

“Hey, Angie,” Husk greeted.  His eyes found the spider laying on the floor, and didn’t falter before asking , “How are you doing, baby?”

Coherent sentences lost, Angel just kicked his feet and cooed.  “Papa!”

“Yeah, I’m home now.  Sorry I’m late, buddy.”

Angel tried to grumble his complaints about Alastor, but judging by Husk’s easy, amused smile, the words didn’t make much sense.  The ex-Overlord seemed to get the message, however, as he sat on the floor beside him with a deep exhale.

“Yeah, I know, I know.  You’re up past your bedtime and I wasn’t home.  How about we get you ready for sleep?” Kitty suggested.

Angel nodded, releasing Fat Nuggets for only a moment to extend his arms pleadingly.  Husk complied with the silent request, pulling Angel off the floor and into his arms.  He managed to get a hold of Nuggets too, who he then handed back to Angel to carry back to his bed.  The latter relaxed, almost limp; he could finally go to sleep now that his Papa was home. 

Per their usual routine, Husk carried him over to the bed and helped him under the cozy pink sheets.  Fat Nuggets nustled beside him while Husk flipped on the rainbow lamp on the nightstand.

“Check for monsters?” Angel mumbled, even though he knew the cat would never forget.

“‘Course, Angie,” Husk replied before his head ducked and disappeared as his precise eyes scanned underneath the mattress.  Then he stood, strolled to every corner, opened the closet, and even looked inside the toy chest.  Angel watched his every movement, because even if he was scared of the what monsters could be hiding, he also needed to make sure Papa was safe.

“No sign of monsters here, baby.  All safe,” Husk said as he returned to Angel’s bedside.

As soon as the cat had sat down, Angel wrapped two pairs of arms around his waist, dragging himself forward to snuggle some more.  Yes, his eyes were drooping.  Yes, he wanted to sleep.  But he also missed Kitty!

“Looks like I have a cuddly bug tonight,” Husl chuckled, then eased onto his side.  Angel cuddled impossibly closer, wrapping his legs around him and burying his face in his chest.  A deep breath calmed the arachnid entirely, as something rich, smokey, and fresh drifted into his nostrils.

“Ready for sleep, bug?” Husk murmured, ruffling his hair.

Before Angel could nod, a certain piglet rose from his nest in the sheets, trotting up to Husk’s and Angel’s faces.  The pig’s snout pressed against them, causing a weak complaint from Husk and a giggle from Angel.  Thankfully, Nugget’s show of affection ended there, as he circled around and flopped into a new place: right between Husk and Angel.

“Good, pig,” the cat rumbled.  “You’ve gotta keep Angie safe too, you know.  A guard pig to help him feel better.”

Said courageous animal was already snoozing, but Angel nodded a little despite his drooping eyes.

“Good night, Angel.”

“Ni’night, Papa.”
