#FPtober Maroon Fox 🦊 . I’m back. Finally, things are back to normal(-ish), I’ve finally caught back on exhaustion, and can draw again! Getting out some of my favorite Pilot pens might have added an extra cheer to get there today.😄 . I actually drew two foxes before this one... but I really liked this one best! 😊 . Never posted my SF Pen show haul. Not much, but I finally joined the Murex club. The #pilotmurex is a ladies model, and my get was my #bungbox cotton rollcase... Lastly, the #opus88 is included just because it’s red.

#FPtober 15 Grey Bone 🦴 . I love drawing Dino bones and this was no exception. To draw the triceratops skull, I drafted quite a bit with my @kohinoor_hardtmuth Triograph and then switched to ink. To creat contrast, the very Fine Pilot Murex Long is inked with Diamine Graphite (which is a green leaning grey) and the @leonardo_pens Momento Zero Horn 1.1 is inked with @colorverse.ink Matter (which is a purple leaning grey). 🦖🦕🖋 . Tea time at @Toraya_Paris was also a moment to write with three of my beloved vintage Pilot pens: two Murex brothers and their Myu cousin. 🖋🖋🖋 . Right now, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Parisian shop of this Japanese institution, they have this special Wagashi called Ispahan made in collaboration with @PierreHermeOfficial. Inside the rose litchi agar-agar noodles there is a raspberry heart ❤️! It’s perfect with the creamy texture of their expertly prepared matcha. 🍵 . The latest pen to join my collection is the 1978 Red stripped Pilot Murex who is happy to join it’s black stripped taller brother. Both are F, and though the black stripe writes like an EF, red stripe writes like a Japanese F. I really must thank the friend who made this possible considering it’s the best Red Striped Murex I have ever seen (with someone willing to part with it!). 🖋🖋❤️❤️ . Red is now inked with @Color_Traveler Miyajima Red and Black is still inked with @KWZ.ink for @scriptus_toronto_writingshow Northern Twilights. ⛩🌌 . The notebook is a @bomoartbudapest pocket book that is my inseparable friend... I love how I can pour ink, tea wash and do tons of quick sharp lines and the paper holds like a champ. It is as fun as it is beautiful. 📕 . The art in the picture is just an exercise to practice and try to improve my crosshatching technique. Today’s artistic pause was at À l’Heure du Thé, where @sophiegraesslin ‘s served us amazing and surprising Oolongs from S. Korea and New-Zealand. The strawberry cheesecake and strawberry tiramisu were made with love and the conversation was so fun. ✒️🍵 . Even though I had another FP with me, for this which I drew and wrote on the shops guestbook, the Pilot Murex was best.
