it's no news but i wanna articulate how i really love the good hunter as a protagonist
I love that they're a clueless rando thrown into Yharnam's chessboard. While part of the narrative is MP and to a lesser extent Amygdala playing doll with them, they're not a chosen one or anything. They're the latest in a long line of people with enough mental fortitude to - at least initially - resist the call of the beast, a quality from within which THEN brings them to the Dream and its plot armor. They're not the first dreamer and, depending on the ending, not the last. And in the ending in which they ARE supposedly the last, where they succeed when none of their predecessors did, by collecting the clues left by those before them, balancing blood echoes and insight without succumbing to bloodlust nor frenzy - again, their own doing, their own skills, their own way of being.
Of course there are many ways to play as them. Personally, I tried bb on a whim, only aiming to reach 2-3 early game characters at first. But then I kept going, figuring that if I had managed to beat the first 2-3 bosses (after 26734859 attempts, but managed nonetheless) I could do the rest - but also because I got my curiosity piqued. I wanted to understand what was going on, how did we get here, what were this world's inner machineries. And when I was told the Byrgenwerth spirit lived on within [me], I thought, "oh, i'm in-character, alright." Their own curiosity pushes them on, and - in a blind playthrough - their own choices will connect them to the world and its characters in a way or another.
It's as the Chapel Dweller says : "not because you're a hunter, but because you're you !"

I talked about JJK with my friends this week and I said this :
Gege Akutami forgot about the original plot and is now just having fun by torturing the characters. He's playing how far he can get before the fans stop reading.
I may have say that because of the deception of ch236 but I genuinely think that is what's happening right now.
One of my friend thinks he likes the bad buzz JJK gets from the fan ranting about how he had no right to do this or that. Since the JJK tag is trending, it make people curious and they start to read the manga/watch the anime to see why everyone is crying.
I remember that I started it because it was another one of those cool shonen about personal growth and parallels and philosophy. I loved the discourse about "true humans" and the role of sorcerers, I loved how they showed a rotten system that has to be destroy, I loved the idea of giving teenagers the right to live freely and happily. That story began with Yuji not wanting to die alone or with regrets and now he's a useless character, his 2 friends are in an unknown state (presumably dying) and he totally hates himself.
I'd say that the main problem with the Jujutsu Kaisen universe is that the author doesn't care about his characters.
There’s so much I could analyze about the current state of JJK. Like the way it used to have a real plot and now it’s just a male power fantasy like every other battle shonen. The way Yuuji isn’t even the protagonist anymore. The way Akutami has and is mistreating all the women when, in the beginning, it seemed like there would be meaningful commentary on the in-universe misogyny. The way the worldbuilding is so convoluted now that I just skip over the long-winded exposition because I know It won’t make sense to me. The way the systemic issues aren’t even a driving part of the story anymore. The way we haven’t seen Nobara (one of our main characters!) in over 100 chapters. The way this fight between Gojo and Sukuna feels ridiculous with the rest of the cast standing around watching them without being involved. The w

Nevermore Crack theory except this time it actually doesn't make any sense and is poorly thought out and in all honestly it just copy paste form the Discord Server
The greatest Nevermore plotwist would be that Will is actually the Deans in disguise.
Think about it, in the story William Wilson is talks about doubles or something, you know what else is double? The Deans.
Tumblr media
Image of the William Wilsons
Tumblr media
Now, you must be wondering 'why would they disguise themselves as a pathetic background character' well we already know that the Deans (or atleast Merry) like entertainment, so maybe the do this so they can get a closer look at the students without the students acting differently because a Dean is there. Kind of like role playing a character for fun.
Also, out of all Nevermore characters, he is the one with the least backstory revealed, what if the reason he has no backstory, is because he is one of the Deans!?!? Seriously, with every other character, we either rgot a flashback, or something heavily alluding to their backstory (except Morella somewhat. Morella secretly a Dean too?)
Even in the original William Wilson story, the Main character's actual name (as specified in the beginning) isn't even actually William Wilson, it's just an alias he uses.
And his double is meant to appear when he acts 'less than moral'. More proof of this theory is when the Deans at the dinner, announced how only one person can get the second chance at life, we saw all the characters reaction except for Will (now keep in mind, he didn't dissappear or anything, in fact in the next few panel we literally see him again) but what if the reason we don't see his reaction isn't because he was a waste of nine months, but actually because why would he need to have a reaction if he is just one of the Deans?
Now, as we have seen with Nurse Dolly and Miss Poppet, there are doll versions of them. Guess who's spectre looks like a doll? That's right, it's good ol William. Plus, Dolly and Poppet have unique facial marking, and who's spectre has just that?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What these Dolls of the staff were? I personally think it's like an object that controls them because I doubt they are actual people, but because this part is very much just speculation, ignore it for the most part.
Tumblr media
Although, this leads into a similar theory of Will not being the Deans but simply working for them, similar to the staff. And what staff member would Will be? That right, The maid!!
Real reason that closet was dirty, Will was too busy being Monty's mop to remember to do his actual job
Tumblr media
Thank you everyone for reading this theory. It was honestly made as an excuse to draw Willy in a maid costume. For wasting your time, here, take a poorly drawn Will

My cousin finished reading the long walk copy i let her borrow, so here are her thoughts(she's read a lot of stephen king before this)
NOW FREINDLY REMINDER I DID NOT TALK TO HER AT ALL ABOUT THE BOOK AS SHE READ THE BOOK THE ONLY THINGS I REALLY TOLD HER WAS :
Arts my fav,pay attention to the char haters reason for being there ,ending Is devesive (plus my annotations but those all 90%doodles and memes)
-She liked garraty as a protagonist she found him compelling and a good vehicle to read the story through every one, and whike she found herself annoyed at him and wanting to get in the others' heads
-She didn't really like mcrives and his backstory confused her at first , but It made her really uncomfortable, (I pointed out some line and what I thought of them.and she was "like yeah I thought that too but I wasn't sure)and she didt really know how to feel about mcrives after either , but after another look through her, she descivley doesn't like him , though she didn't care for him much in general from the beginning.
-stebbins weirded her out she was surprised at the plotwist but then she was like dude I shoudve known there was more he was crazy sus ,she actully doesn't like stebbins cause he kept being rude and saying garraty wanted to ef his mom.....so fair and the sandwhiches and fit funny.
-her second fav was baker(VERY GOOD CHOICE) she thought he was nice and liked how he kept evreyone together and tried his best to be a good person besides the circumstances and he also made her really sad to here about all his ideations defenitly thinks he deserved the most out of anyone.
-her fav relationship was ART AND RAY(i promise you I didn't even mention them) she liked how unique it was compared to other reltionships and how soft and kind they were with eachother and how they never fought unlike the others and conteriveral opion :she thought that if they met outside of the walk they would be closer freinds than pete and ray And it's really sad that both of them brought each other the comfort and kindness the other was looking for and needed at the worst possible place and that "another time another place " was the perfect way to describe them
-AND HER NUMBER 1 DID NOT CHANGE HER ABSOULTE FAV WAS ABRAHAM LIKE SHES JUST OBSSED WITH HIM WAS A TSHCOOL READING HIS DEATH AUDIBLY GASPED AT HIS DEATH HAD TO PUT THE BOOK DOWN ACTULLY CRIED LIKE ITS NO COMPETION ABRAHAM IS HER FAVORITE NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE THAT YOULL HAVE TO RIP HIM OUT OF HER COLD HANDS
-overall she really liked the story, and couldn't put it down the ending was a bit unsatisfying but she understands why it had to be that way and that it made sense that he's never leaving the walk

Alternative Final Arc: There should've been 3 factions!
So, I've finished season 7 and ooof, that season is a toughie. There's some stuff I loved, some stuff I hated, but mostly... choices that made me go "huh?" and "they would never do that!" and "since when?" and "is there a scene missing for it to make sense?".
So, I thought it over and realized I'd have a LOT more fun watching the season if it wasn't All for One vs. One for All, but a three factions war between Peace, Anarchy/Liberation and World Domination.
I totally based this idea around my other "well let's change canon" ideas, with Shigaraki leaving the last war early and LOV keeping AFO away from their leader, and Hawks' questioning of the status quo after hearing what Endeavor did behind closed doors during his entire hero carreer.
Here's the schema, with explanations underneath the cut.
Tumblr media
Biggest change
So, the main difference between the canon timeline and the one I made up is that Tomura doesn't become a mindless puppet, mostly cause LOV won't allow it. I want them to become his new family that keeps him anchored, no matter if it's because of the power of love or shared hatred. There's still a connection between AFO and Tomura, and despite the latter's body & quirks not being complete, he manages to keep him at bay as long as they don't get too close to one another. He's pissed to realize he's been used and wants revenge WHILE still willing to destroy the world. AFO becomes just one more thing that has to go with the old world.
LOV still breaks into Tartarus, but to free Stain this time. AFO manages to take over Tomura's body and frees himself as well. Mr. Compress (Tomura left the last battlefield before the rest of the gang arrived on Machia's back here) marbleizes his leader when Spinner realizes that's not Tomura right now and they gtfo.
So, while Deku trains (the Dark Deku Arc was meh so, let's just make it a montaaage! Montage 🎶), it's a cat and mouse play between AFO and Tomura. LOV is used to run around Japan with barely any food or sleep, so they're tenacious.
So the final arc starts with:
- AFO sending his forces made of Nomus, Machia and jailbreakers to capture Tomura, while keeping an eye on Deku in case there's an opportunity to steal One for All;
- Deku learning to use all his quirks in hopes to stop AFO, until the Heroes realizes AFO and LOV don't work together and focusing their attention on the latter, since the group should be easier to take care of;
- LOV being their natural chaotic selves and just running around not to get caught, aided by the PLF, waiting for the two other factions to fight each other before finishing them off... expect none of them can follow the plan.
Izuku's side
Starting with the good guys, I wouldn't change much from the story. The plan to separate the bad guys is awesome and the hiccups along the way keep things interesting. Izuku would still want to save Tenko, but from himself/Tomura this time and stop his need for destruction without ending his life. He wants to keep the peace, like All Might wanted before him, even if that means leaving the system corrupted for some time. Peace before equity in a way, which, yeah, suits his character.
I will however REFUSE TO ACCEPT that Inasa teams up with Endeavor! Don't tell me this man didn't watch Dabi's revelation and gloated about "being right all along", c'mon!
Also, listen... Let's keep Bakugo's death impactful here. No magical ninja technique we never heard about. It's super sad cause he had finally realized he had to stop being so lame, but war's a b- after all.
League of Villains' side
Basically, I want true chaos out there, and not just "I pretended to be dead/incapacitated but sikes!" plotwists and I feel adding LOV as its own faction would achieve that, mostly cause I've been missing their dynamic this season. Gimme back the found family of weirdos already!
I see them as the most unstable team. Not because they don't care about each other (boring 🙄), but because they're unstable people fighting for a vague cause. Apart from Mr. Compress who does as he's told, which is mostly protecting the faction, they should be all over the place.
And yeah, even their reasoning for fighting should be all over the place. Shigaraki just wants to destroy everything, but Stain wants a world with more justice. It's pure anarchy, no one knows if something will be built after they tear Japan down, but they still want to make a change. They've got nothing to lose but each other, after all.
They're not even sure who their leader is. I love the idea of Tenko still being within Tomura, the person he would've been if AFO hadn't taken him in. Tomura, raised to destroy and Tenko, who just wants human connection. I think if he's rid of AFO sooner, he'd go with both names during the fight, since he's both (so even if Star tries New Order on him, not knowing AFO isn't there, it still wouldn't work). Well, he'd go with either Shigaraki (allies) or Tenko (close allies). Tenko would still stop himself from using decay at times. I love when that quirk is unreliable!
Stain wouldn't attack, or at least try to kill, anyone he sees as a true hero, and Spinner might chose to follow his lead at any moment. Shigaraki has become a friend to him by now, not his leader. And sometimes your friends make super dumb decisions 🤷
Tōya and Himiko are unstable in the same way. They will listen to Tomura's orders... until a certain point. Himiko still resents Hawks for Jin's death and might attack him at any moment no matter which faction he's in (I'll explain later).
As for Tōya, he's just as volatile. Tomura might promise him he can personally end Endeavor once the war's over, but Tōya will obsessively fight him and Shōto if their paths meet, even if that means leaving AFO get to Tomura, or the heroes stop his leader.
In this timeline, Tōya didn't get to do his little dance (sorry, king 😔). They leave the previous war before it happens in canon. He just releases the video. Despite Endeavor wanting to make amends for what he's done, he persuades himself Dabi is lying just to hurt him and the credibility of pro-heroes. We know the commission lie to the civilians to keep them from questioning their decisions, the pro-heroes would go with the story that Dabi made it all up so Endeavor can stay #1 hero until peace is reestablished. It's not a "let's pretend it never happened 'cause Endie said he was sorry 🥺" but a "even though Endeavor is sorry, and even if Dabi says the truth, the heroes need the support of the civilians rn, no matter what." I would've liked that kind of reasoning better then 🤷 well he's sorry so 🤷.
Even though Tomura just wants to destroy it all, teaming up with Stain and the Liberation Front means many hope something else will be built from the ashes, a better society, so whatever horrible thing that happened to (almost) everyone in the faction never happens again. This is the reason why people like Hawks are tempted to join LOV's faction, they're tired of the status quo (especially with Endeavor still "in commands") and are optimistic that this revolution won't be total destruction, but the dawn of a new age.
All for One's side
I wouldn't change much either. The whole "I have so many plans in my mind I cannot fail" is interesting. I wasn't a big fan of him not dying out of nowhere, but with the explanation it makes sense, risking to rewind himself to death is bold though. I love it!
BUT! It feels weird to me that OTHER nations chose to join AFO's side and their no mention of the Japanese government in all this. Is there still an emperor is this universe? No one in the police force is like: "maybe if I join his side now, my family will be spared" ? What I mean is: let Japan be corrupted as well! Let the heroes' plans fail because they trusted everyone on their side to be as fearless as they are of AFO! Let "being a hero" mean more than using a quirk (or a quirked mecha-suit) to fight off bad guys!
The ones in-between
Again, I want chaos! BNHA keeps talking about the gray areas, so I want some people caught in-between factions.
- Kurogiri: Tomura isn't on AFO's side anymore, but Kurogiri still has the directive to protect him WHILE obeying to AFO. In this timeline, both AFO and LOV want to free him (AFO to control the nomu, Tomura to steal his quirk cause they know Kurogiri cannot be fully trusted). AFO gets the information on Kurogiri's location thanks to corrupted people, and breaks him free. He tries to send him to retrieve Tomura, but Kurogiri still wants to protect him and wrap him away from AFO. He's pretty much caught in between them both. I want Kurogiri's quirk to be almost overused by AFO commanding him and Kurogiri trying to protect LOV by switching their location.
-Hawks: Hawks didn't support Endeavor in this timeline and starts to see the similarities between himself and the members of LOV, finally realizing through their files and Endeavor's reveal that they could've been him if they had "better luck", he could've been one of them if one moment had turned out differently so many years ago. He stops wanting to be a hero as the word has lost its meaning after losing his idol. He relates to this wish for freedom and the possible better future with siding with LOV, but he's not so sure about fighting his former colleagues. He mostly protects everyone from AFO and his allies, while trying to maintain his double alliance. Buuut mostly, I want Himiko to just decide to fight him at some point, especially if Hawks has sided with them at that moment 😌
- Chiraki: I didn't like how Chiraki was brought back. It doesn't bring much to the story. It might be an unpopular opinion, but if Endeavor gets a redemption arc, what stops Chiraki from TRYING to get one? AFO uses Chiraki to toy with Tomura, giving him quirks, but Chiraki wants to make amends with his father and respect his rules to stay away from villainy. He might join the good guys to respect this wish. Let's just keep Eri away from all this, please.
Conclusion
Tbh, with this 3 factions idea, I wouldn't even mind the heroes winning and keeping the status quo for a while for the sake of peace, with slow gradual changes hinted in the final chapter. LOV would lose cause they're their usual chaotic selves missing a sense of direction, not because they "don't love each other the normal way". I wouldn't even mind them to not survive the war, if they can go out together, on their terms.
So yeah, anyway, really want to write this fix-it fic now from LOV's pov 😌

so this is the end of jjk? this manga that rocked my teenage years? even for gojo? i can't believe it. like, gege must not like his manga, it's not like him to leave information and details unresolved in his manga. no hate against him, of course, but i'm just confused and disappointed. not to mention angry. gojo deserves much better than this, for me, and i think i'm clearly not the only one who thinks so.
i don't like what i'm reading right now, i used to be so excited to read the scans a year ago almost, i'm scared of them now, especially with the last one coming out on monday. i just want it all to be a joke. it doesn't sound like gege, i'm sorry. i also heard he was working on a project or something.
so if that's true, i sincerely hope he does the same thing he did for nobara but for this "end", i.e. declare her dead and then make her live again. it doesn't matter if he lied to make a plotwist. even the title of the last chapter seemed clear about an ending that isn't the one revealed to us.
i had hoped to cry like i did for another manga, but this is the first time i've felt empty, almost indifferent. maybe i'm in denial, but in any case, i refuse to accept this ending.
i still think gege is bamboozling us. he doesn't create masterpieces just to leave us with this, does he?
anyway, i'm getting this off my chest.

do you think Itachi's plotwist (him being a good guy) resulted in many characters getting ruined/hate ? ( Sasuke/ Hiruzen/ Tobirama/ the dead Uchiha clan..)
Personally, I don't think Itachi was a good guy for what he did, I mean, do you really think Itachi commiting ethnic genocide ordered by the village that oppressed them, because of a coup that was plotted because of the discrimination and xenophobia the Uchiha clan suffered for decades, was him being a good guy?
Well, doesn't look like a good guy to me, but then I'd be writing another essay, and I think you meant the way some people view him, so I'll go to the point.
Tobirama and Hiruzen, both were still dictators on the facist regime of Konoha, with or without the massacre. That's no news, I mean, plenty of hate is deserved.
They were already "ruined" and received a lot of hate, before the plot twist was even known. So the result was still the same with or without it, I think the only change is that the hate got even worse – but it was always there.
Maybe this is unnecessary, but I'll start with Hiruzen and a few examples:
Hiruzen was hated from the beginning. We knew he was "neglecting" Naruto and letting him get ostracized for something he didn't even chose to, suffering his whole childhood alone, and being shunned. He failed Naruto:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hiruzen talks and talks about that he wants to protect the village and that they're their family (during Konoha Crush, though he treated that family like tools as he spoke, so not much to expect) but he couldn't even protect a kid, couldn't even give him a caretaker, someone to look for him, support him, raise him right, he wasn't even that person. He claims to care greatly for Minato, but he didn't even look after his son properly. He didn't even accomplish Naruto parents's wishes.
Gosh, Naruto lacked so much attention that he tried to gain it by committing mischief and his whole objective of being Hokage is needing acknowledgment, validation, respect. He didn't had the proper guidance. He had a house, so? That doesn't even make up for what he really needed. He stopped committing mischief after Iruka recognized him!
Keeping a secret that Naruto was a sacrifice for the village and was the Kyuubi from Naruto and those children, did more harm than good to Naruto. Hiruzen saw the consequences right in front of him and decided to let Naruto be treated that awful way. Also, people often say that Naruto "respected" Hiruzen despite him being neglected by him, but he solely respected Hiruzen sacrifice for the village, nothing more, nothing less. His sacrifice shouldn't even be glorified, Hiruzen should've killed Orochimaru when he had the chance, and during Hiruzen's death, Sunagakure and Otogakure had already attacked Konoha, causing massive losses and destroying it.
Hiruzen wasn't even that relevant in Naruto's life, not once he thinks about him when he talks about the people who helped him through his loneliness. (The one he mostly thinks about first is Iruka)
+ He also failed Sasuke, but then I'd be involving the massacre.
Second example: Orochimaru.l + Hiruzen said Orochimaru concealed malice and ambition, but he trained him to be a very powerful and capable shinobi, pretending not to notice Orochimaru's malice. And also Hiruzen sent him to war: and Orochimaru had to witness Nawaki and Dan death, he had to see the horrors of war, and that war also led him to want to learn every technique in the world, which culminanted on his experiments and who he ended up becoming and what he ended up doing + his parents death also affected him deeply, etc. (I'm not defending Orochimaru actions, I think he didn't deserve redemption at all, I'm just talking about of Hiruzen failing as a teacher and Hokage)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Orochimaru was kidnapping, torturing, murdering and experimenting with innocent people and Hiruzen HAD to kill him because Orochimaru said he wasn't going to stop until he found out the secrets of immortality and mastered all the jutsus he could, I didn't include the panel of this, but he said:
I want to obtain all the techniques and gain a true understanding of everything in this world. The first one to mix blue and yellow called the new color "green". I want to do something similar to that. If blue is the chakra, then yellow is the seal, and green is the technique... Just as there is no end to the variety of colors, there are so many thousands… tens of thousands of techniques in the world as well. But in order to obtain every possible technique and truth, it would require an eternity. Only one who understands everything after spending such time on this can be fittingly called the Ultimate Being.
Tumblr media
Hiruzen could've avoided many deaths, many conflicts, many experiments, many kidnappings, many things. But no, he couldn't bring himself to kill Orochimaru and allowed him to escape. (Orochimaru was literally KILLING and TORTURING and EXPERIMENTING with innocent people, so the justification of that Orochimaru was his student so he couldn't kill him is just so horrendous and repulsive, like, look at Hashirama, he had to take Madara's life, his best friend, for the village + even Jiraiya was determinated and willing to kill Tsunade if she healed Orochimaru because then, Konoha would be in great danger)
No more words needed.
Third example: The Hyuga clan.
Hiruzen clearly knew that the Hyuga clan dysfunction, that they endorsed slavery, the seal, the main house and branch house not being equals, the oppression. He let it continue.
He claims that he wants to protect the village and the people on it, but he failed again to protect the cadet branch who lived to serve the main branch and were below them, oppressed, being treated unfairly, being sealed and only being able to be free of the seal by dying. He could've changed the way it worked, but he decided not to. ALSO, HE LET NEJI AND HINATA FIGHT AND HE THOUGHT IT WAS ENTERTAINING. He knew Neji was from the cadet branch, and Hinata was from the main branch, but no.
The hypocrisy of this man is incredible.
I can give more examples, but I'll end it here with Hiruzen.
Now, Tobirama.
Well, now, Tobirama, the one that created Edo Tensei:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's not too far from Orochimaru, you know, using people as sacrifices to experiment and make those deceased people killing machines for his own benefit. Such repulsive jutsu.
Tobirama also oppressed the Uchiha clan, democracy became nonexistent in Konoha after he succeeded and created the ninja institution for the kids – the chunin exams; training children become tools to kill and sacrifice for the village. 12, more or less, year old children killing each other to be promoted on their military status..well. Need to elaborate?
And yeah, the Uchiha clan gets hate because of that one plot twist – hate that is undeserved. But that hate is from people who refuse to acknowledge what the clan went through, Sasuke's trauma, how a coup works, etc, either that, or are actually Itachi apologists.

My """""honest""""" review of Honosuto chapter 31 😜 :
(TW : child abandonment; child abduction; child crying; lesbians; mention of the police; Freddie Mercury and spoilers of VROH. Read at your own risk)
The chapter only started and we are already blessed by a Freddy Mercury reference 🥹🙏💅
Tumblr media
Nevermind, it was a Kogure reference 🙄 (bro was abandonned by his mama)
Tumblr media
Long story short ('cause i am not screenshoting all the thing bruh) : Gouenji decided to abduct the child since his mama wouldn't be looking for him after all. Bumped into Fudou, who is very suspicious of Gouenji and started asking him question. Will Fudou actually save the child ? 🤯
Tumblr media
The answer is : no. Fudou goes along with it... Anyway
Gouenji forgetting his cellphone before leaving home is actually so relative to 2010ish me
Tumblr media
Wait 😳 Is he implying :
he doesn't trust Gouenji with this child, like he cares for the child safety ?
Gouenji is too dumb to do it alone correctly?
Tumblr media
Bro 💀 Gouenji's autism brain is a menace to society, why this mf is still roaming free ?????
Tumblr media
Fudou figured out what this manga is even about, good for him 😭🙏
Tumblr media
Freddie Mercury in the 70s cooking on Bohemian Rhapsody be like :
Tumblr media
youtube
Honestly, if i was a child his age getting lost and helped by those 2, i would be crying my eyes out and shitting in my pants every second. I would not trust those 2 with child ☠️
Tumblr media
Rare footage of Freddie Mercury with his 2 moms (yes, they are gay)
Tumblr media
KILL THE CHILD 🔫🗡🩸
Tumblr media
They both transitionned to child abducters to moms with no backbones real quick. Also, update of the plot : seeing that Freddy Mercurie is destined for greatness, they decided on their own will to denonce themselves to the police and give back the child.
Tumblr media
HOLD ON WAIT ! You telling me Freddie Mercury is actually Haru ??? Endou Haru from VROH, the son of his best friend 😳 I didn't that plotwist coming 😱
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Did he just slander Gouenji ?
Tumblr media
Gouenji's BS gotten into Haru's head, Fudou is absolutly flabbergasted 🤣
Tumblr media
Not the chapter finishing on a criminal-offense cliffhanger 🤯
Tumblr media
Conclusions :
Those wise words from Freddie 🥰😍😇
Tumblr media
+ i am not to be trusted with child ...
Hope you enjoyed besties 💋💕💅

Just finished to read chapter 12 and I am glad they at least not actively trying to kill each other anymore lol THAT’S CALLED IMPROVEMENT TO ME(small mercy)but I also hope they got to talk after they finish to eat each other up(mostly Lucy but u know). It’s pretty obv that Al previous relationship with Vox has messed him up quite a bit and Lucy is very sweet to ask for permission instead of just touching him without asking(I adore how attentive Lucy is in regard of Al little change in his perfect mask and I love how he gets a little cheeky towards the end and makes Al say what he wants)
That’s a big step in the right direction for an healthy relationship(at least as healthy as it can get in hell)and I think we should give more credit to Charlie’s lessons, cause if they work even on the devil, I’ll say they should give her one of these certificates that Tik toker showcase to say that they have a degree in something, cause Charlie deserves that and more(thinking about the fact that she send her Dad upstairs to talk with Al and they are fucking) it definitely worked lmao
Also I Wonder why Al stayed as long as he did in a relationship with Vox if he hated it that much…mhhh so many questions! Can’t wait to read more💜
Mind that "anymore" cause we're still halfway this story.
(Maybe? I don't know yet how many chapters it will be cause 🌈plotwist🌈 still happens. I'm aiming for 25, more or less)
(Oh, there is so much coming)
Anyway, Lucifer had a good dinner yesterday, but yeah, he is a gentelman and, for all the mistakes he did, he doesn't want to hurt Alastor anymore. Not like that at least. And he is already aware that something big and bad happened to him in his last relationship. So asking for consent is the bare minimum here.
The "consensual but not safe or sane" tag is still there tho xD.
Random headcanon of mine: idk if there are colleges in Hell, but I think Charlie has a Degree in Psychology. She may even be a certified therapist!
And oh, Vox and Alastor, Alastor and Vox... A lot to unpack there. All answers will come~
I'm working in the next chapters!

junpei most wronged character in jujutsu kaisen. geto and megumi having their bodies invaded is something terrible for me especially if megumi died he was a character with so much potential. sukuna what an annoying villain. nanami deserved more. itadori poor thing just gets beaten nobara deserved more attention. noritoshi kamo, yuki hajime were wasted. ps; yuki I liked that she was nerfed I don't like her. wow, the worst plotwist is megumi's sister, my god, she was totally wasted, there was no construction with megumi, poor thing. inumaki deserved more attention, he has insane power and was a corner. Now gojo, in my opinion, his death was very shallow and forced he doesn't even look like the gojo that was sealed, a totally different gojo If he had fought and caused damage to the sukuna then it would be different but he dies like no one like any sorcerer. Now I don't understand one thing why he wanted a pat on the back from geto if his students were there supporting him. Now my hope is Megumi, I really want him to come back, poor guy, he just suffered, he lost everything and everyone, what a cruel fate for our boy. Sorry for something cruel I said, I would really like your opinion.
I understand some of the criticism here, for some I will say: wait until the manga ends because I'm sure that some of what you said will be revisited, eg Nobara will definitely return but also, Tsumiki has a bigger role to play and that has already started 70 chapters ago.
I do have to say though, that the fast pace of JJK leaves character moments short sometimes, which is a little tragic.
For Geto, Gojo wanted his former best friend by his side just like he had his students with him. It's a longing for something he couldn't have (not to be confused with something he couldn't live without though, Gojo wasn't someone who was broken because Geto had turned evil)
And yes, Megumi's comeback will be glorious. Here are some thoughts on how Megumi might come back with both the knowledge of Sukuna and Gojo.

your ask is so interesting!!! i don't think i would've changed something big since i genuinely love your story
I think it would've been the little things
I think i would've maybe make Kat and Pierce know eachother in Catws, like Pierce knew kat but kat said she didn't recognize him, i think i would've given them a history just for drama
I remember when someone commented in ghosts of the past, saying how they thought Kat killed her mom that would've been even a bigger plotwist
Maybe something with Kat visions in AoU but not much
And alternative oneshots??? Yes please???
Ohh not you giving me multiple options 👀👀
Maybe the Pierce thing could have been more intense 👀 But then she would have seen it from the start right? Recognize that he was Hydra infiltrating SHIELD to begin with? Oh maybe Fury doesn't believe her and Kat has no proof so she's powerless 👀
POOR KAT. WHY ARE YOU GIVING HER MORE TRAUMA??? NAAHHH BABYGIRL 😭😭😭 Her finding out she KILLED HER MOTHER? She would never recover from that. Even Eliza couldn't help her then

I was tagged by @claimedbytheearth (thank you!! It was nice reading about you :'D )
It's been long since I've done something like this so it might be fun!
Favourite colour: I guess yellow?
Currently reading: Monster by Naoki Urasawa. I'm slow at reading it but it's so good. One of the top manga I've ever read.
Last song: Skyway Avenue by We The Kings. I really like this song because it's nostalgic though I know this might be... weird? but I've been really um obsessed with songs that are in F#Major key. I've realized it's a type of key that I really enjoy! I've made a playlist full of F#Major songs that I play on repeat. This one is one of them! :')
Last series: One Piece Live Action (OPLA). I've watched it with my friend and now I'm watching it again with my father because he actually liked it.
Currently watching: Well OPLA x'D I'm in episode 4. I'm too slow watching series or reading so that's the only recent one.
Last movie: Well... Does an OVA count? If it does, Angel Densetsu. I swear I had seen it before but I had no idea where or when? So I found it randomly and I watched it full. I felt sad about the main character but the misunderstandings were enjoyable. If that doesn't count: Knives Out. The plot is really well written and has a lot of plotwists. I watched it with some friends and we had a good time guessing the killer's identity!
Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Sweet ;;
Currently working on: um... I'm not sure what this refers to but I'll try to answer it. If it's working as in a work, well nothing yet. I should start to think about my future soon but college left me very tired and I need some rest. If it's working as in projects, my animated adaptation of 2nd LIFE: VTE! Recently I've finished an animation course and I'm applying all the knowledge, changing some scenes I've already done.
Current obsession: Oh dear. Well... I've always have like... core obsessions. I think it's Pokémon recently? I mean if it wasn't obvious from my blog x'D Perhaps also One Piece. I haven't played/ watched movies or series/ tried new things lately so no new obsessions (edit: I don't know if it counts but I've been obsessed with Incredibox mods for a long now and I've recently known Orin Ayo. Such a cool concept, eerie (don't watch it if easily disturbed please) but I like those things! I've read all the characters backgrounds and some theories)
Sorry if it was too long. I'm tagging... Well, you! If you've read until this point I'd like to know a bit of yourself too!

So, I'm not a theory gal, I'm notoriously bad at plot theories and figuring out the hints leading you to reveals/plotwists etc.
But I do have a brain who still completes a picture when he has two pieces of a whole puzzle, so here are my relationships/characters theories for the Magnus Protocol as of end of march 2024, during first hiatus, after ten episodes.
Season 1 is going to keep having three threads: Gwen&Lena, Alice/Sam/Celia(/Teddy), Colin. Gwen's journey would be about what's really up with the OIAR, of course, she's gonna be traumatized enough, but also get a weird mentorship deal with Lena that might or might not bring them closer (they're going to be HELLA SHIPPED for it) ; meanwhile, the love triangle gang is going to uncover more shit about the Magnus Institute and the Multiverse while Love Triangling ; Colin is the reason why Love Triangle gang and Gwen&Lena's plotlines are going to come all together, possibly by dying (RIP Colin, i love you, i don't want that for you) with a big finish that will reveal that 1. Celia's EVIL and/or not what she seems and/or a spy etc. Sam will be HORRIBLY BETRAYED BY THIS. But also she will have opened too many doors of knowledge for him to resist. He might not join her YET but he will. End of s1 might also be when Teddy comes back and we understand that having a job aftet the OIAR just. er. doesn't happen. ALSO Lena will either die (by Celia's hand??) or "disappear" or "Resigned" (which is the same thing) leaving Gwen UNSETTLED while GETTING WHAT SHE WANTED (Lena's job). It's not a good thing for her.
Season 2 is going to tease us with the last flames of the love triangling, before Sam ultimately ends up in Avatar deep mud and possibly Dark Path with Celia. Alice will be heartbroken but also have a personal reason to genuinely fucking care about this shit, and get pulled into OIAR proper business alongside Gwen, making them both Full Bickering ALLIES. the OIAR and the Celia's gang will have definitely a different idea of what we're meant to do with the Multiverse. JMJ. error will become proper characters who go beyond statements. Alice will hate it. Gwen will listen to it. Teddy??? Sorry Teddy we had so little of you so far, I just don't know, but I'm rooting for you. Meanwhile Sam learn about Dark Knowledge MORE (and tapes????) and go full THIS is what i was meant to do. Celia, who will have actually fallen in love with this man, will be like "don't become like me :(" but he'll go "course not (i will fix it and be better)". Big finish is ?????? again i don't KNOW i don't know about plot. But full Dark Sam would be hot.
Season 3 will be about Stopping Big Tragedy Threat, possibly killing Sam (BY ALICE'S HAND?????), and also establishing that Alice/Gwen was going to be the canonical endgame ship all along. Teddy Will SurviveTM. Celia might die. It's all sad but also there was love along the way.

Sorry for something cruel I said, I would really like your opinion.
No need to apologize nothing was cruel, you're super considerate anon!! I agree with pretty much everything ;_; Junpei deserved better, the entire cast deserves better but I think Gege wants this to go this way. It's tragic, and that's unfortunately the point. The Gojo v Sukuna fight.....idk what to think tbh because I don't enjoy the way he died, but I also really liked the way his last scenes in the afterlife played out. I think Gojo was meant to die young, in a fight. JJK has this theme of the younger generation surpassing the older generation, of the older generation passing on their will to the next. Nanami did this for Ino and Yuuji, Yaga kinda did it for the Gojo generation of students. Gojo actually kinda does it for Ijichi and his direct students like Yuuji and the second years.
The old has to die for the new generation to grow stronger and be better. So Gojo was going to die, at one point or another and the only person who's capable is Sukuna. Gojo was never going to win against Sukuna, not because he's not the strongest, but because he isn't Yuuji. Yuuji is the person who will kill Sukuna, for like, narrative reasons.
I do wish the rest of the cast was explored more properly. It's a huge list of characters, Gege could have taken his time for more chill arcs where we get to see the characters more happy and interacting under less threatening situations. Right now, there's zero cool down time and it's fight after fight. The Culling Games forces this but we did have about a month's worth of time in-story where the characters were training, I wish Gege actually wrote that time period instead of showing it through flashbacks because frankly I'm exhausted from all the fights (side note: I'm a Yuki stan hehe I was super upset, and still am about her death ;_;).
I think Megumi will live for sure. His role in the story and his own desire is to be saved. Yuuji wants to save him and that's his biggest motive. Trust Megumi's coming back.
EDIT: i'm so sorry I forgot to answer why Gojo wanted Geto with him to pat him on the back. I think it's because Gojo still very much considers Geto his best friend, his special person. He's the one person Gojo considers his equal in a way no one else is. He explains it himself; in terms of understanding him, his students just don't. The difference in level of understanding is that Gojo thinks his students are like plants in a garden he really loves. You can love a plant all you want but it's never going to understand you. Geto understands Gojo. Gojo dies wanting to be understood and the only people who understood the loneliness that comes with strength are Geto and Sukuna. Hence, despite loving his students, he wanted Geto there.

Okay I feel like I need to finally ramble about this one or I will combust now. Brace for some not entirely positive rambling about companion amd character death in Dragon age- specifically as it pretains to Veilguard. There will be spoilers under cut.
I will start by saying I always adored how the two first games utilize temporary companions and their deaths in the story. I love that most if not all the origins have someone you can loose by the end. I love how no matter how well Hawke does by the end only one of three members of their closest family can survive at best and you have no control over which one it is.
What felt great about them is it felt like the game was giving me an oportuninty to shake my character up a little- they didn't have to be affected by the deaths of their fellow recruits by the end of joining... but they could have been. And what does it say about them if they weren't. It shows us instead of just telling the scope of death and loss people experience in this world.
Now I will not sugarcoat it- I do not like the whole 6 sense shtic they done with Varric. It feels like it not only cheapens his death, it takes away the punch that it could have had.
The game devs were honestly in a kind of great position to start of the game with a strong emotional beat and an imidiate reason for why the PC should feel invested and focused on stoping whatever the hell Solas unleashed. Most long time players would already know Varric from previous titles so it doesn't have the pressure other deaths like that had of "having only 5 convos to make us care for this character enough to be sad when they die". And even if someone started with Veilguard- the relationship Rook and Varric share is very clear cut and can easily be established with the prologue. This is honestly the best scenario for a mentor death. It's not Duncan but someone people like Varric a lot I am sure they would at least shed a tear for his funeral... only then the game makes choice that to me feels absolutely bewildering.
It keeps Varric around. In this sort of fake fuge state of being here to spout mentor advice but not being able to do shit, never interacting with everyone. Once you learn the plot twist this is quite literally ghoulish and I didn't even love Varric that much. How bad does it have to feel if he was a favourite character of yours?
This is bad for couple of reasons- first of it weakens the kick off of Rooks character arc A LOT. They cannot complete the usual "mentor dies- student raises to fill his place" type of deal if in their mind the mentor is alive and kicking and they are able to go up to him fir pep talk every time they feel down. Second- it's not clever enough of a plotwist to make the replay more entertaining as a result. To be honest I dread every convo Varric is in on my replay because I noticed no one ever aknowlaged him on the first one. Not only that, it somehow puts Solas in bad light- and not a fun complexed villain type of light... he just sort of seems like an asshole who got a last minute idea to put a blood-magic illusion of his dear friend to torture/toy with this one other guy. It makes little sense why he would even do this since the feelings of loss and guilt after Varrics death would make Rook all the stronger candidate for the regret prison he is priming them for.
And I hear you argue- but if it is revealed from the start that Solas killer Varric doesn't that make it harder for Rook and Solas to have any kind of interaction. To that I say- YES OH GOD PLEASE YES. That makes them not only have some actual beef with each other- it's potentially a huge meat on the bones type beef. That makes the fact Rook is not only stuck with Solas but needs him all the more brutal and tragic. It let's us have them and Solas TALK about effects of Solas's and Rook's actions in a very personal raw way. They both blame each other for what happened. They both lost someone very dear that day and both can't stand to acceptable it as their fault.
But possibly more importantly- it let's Rook and their circle be personally affected by the loss. Inquisitor could mention having to mourn their friend. Maybe they, Rook and Harding could hold some type of memorial to let Varric go. Let the loss sink in, let the player feel weight of that situation. Let people reminesce and mourn and feel so that when characters die later we feel extra bad that we couldn't do that for them.
And that's the second reason this choice bewilders me. Because the actual companion death that is part of the game final showdown... it his the spot for me. It does scratch that tragedy itch which DaI never quite managed to. It makes me feel the sad hopless weight in my stomach (I have... feelings on who and why was chose for that last sacrifice but that's for another time).
So my only question is... why? Why they did this the way they did . And I can't help but feel like I feel most of the times when I see a plot twist that was neither needed nor justified- it feels like the writers really desperately wanted to be smarter then the avarage media consumer and avoid the expected plot beats. It may not be true but that is very much how it feels. Which is kind of tragic because as I previously mentioned- the plot twist feels tragic not in a clever sort of way, but in the tired 'you really couldn't help yourself' sort of way. And that is not me saying that it was obvious And one needed to be stupid to not figure it out- instead it's the worst kind of plotwist that hinges on unbelivable amount of plot contrivances (really no one mentioned to Rook that Varric is dead?... No one?), or even worse practically nonsense scenarios (why isn't Inquisitor tad more idk... sad? Grieving? Give me something) to make it work. It's not based around clever writing or leaving clues, it's based around writers hoping they get to have some shock value for you at the end when they subverted your expectations. But not really because Varric is dead and we didn't get to have any narrative satisfaction out of that death, we were basically robbed of it.
When I said I hoped he died in this one THIS IS NOT WHAT I MENT.

Gimme a movie where the first 30 minutes are a speedrun of the usual Hallmark movie plot with the tropey happy ending but there's still an hour and a half left of the movie so instead of rolling the credits you get a Parasite level plotwist (and by this I mean a plotwist so huge and unexpected and perfectly executed you get whiplash from the way the movie seamlessly switches genres):
The woman is ecstatic with her new life until she walks into a room and happens to hear him telling the end of a joke that actually sounds pretty racist but surely that's because she missed the beginning and doesn't have the whole context, right? Later that day they are enjoying a nice day out in the cozy village (that doesn't really look as charming anymore now that the Christmas decorations are starting to come off) when something else happens. They are walking hand in hand, chatting, when he stops midsentence, his eyes fixed on something, and he makes a disgusted face and suddenly makes them switch sidewalks. She looks around trying to find what made him react the way he did but all she can spot is a couple of men also walking hand in hand. She asks him what's going on, and he nods with his head towards the couple of men also walking hand in hand casually strolling along the sidewalk they'd just abandoned. He explains he hates them and she thinks that surely it's not because they're gay, that maybe they were mean to him in high school or something, right? And then the next day she opens his closet to store some of her things in there because her closet is full and... she finds the holy grail of fascist memorabilia, and suddenly abandoning everything and everyone she's ever known to move across country to live with a guy she's known for a week doesn't seem the best idea anymore.
She realizes she has to flee but she just spent a huge amount of money moving there, and most of her stuff is still on the way, and her landlord already rented her apartment to someone else and the cellphone service is horrible so getting in contact with anyone from her old life is near impossible. She could use the payphone in the bar but the owner is friends with her new boyfriend and what if he overhears her. And there is a huge blizzard heading their way so she can't flee in a taxi because the roads are closed. Still, she decides to brave the snow to go to the post office and pretends to send some postcards to friends but instead she begs for their help and hopes she can survive until the letters arrive to them. Everyone in town is so happy her new boyfriend is finally in a relationship because he had been so lonely since his wife died in that tragic accident and they all adore him and she has no idea which people know and agree with his views and which people don't so she's terrified to confide in anyone, and terrified of giving him any inkling that she's planning to flee. She also decides not to look into the tragic death of his wife because pretending to act like everything is okay is already hard enough, but of course she accidentally finds evidence that he killed her and she can't go to the police because her new brother and father in law are both cops. So the next day she finds an excuse to head downtown and ask in the post office if her postcards had already left, but the huge blizzard apparently blocked all roads that lead to the village. And when she makes her way back to his house (because she can no longer bring herself to think about it as "home") he suggest that she should start looking into getting a job since she's going to stay with him and in the village, and that hey since they are so in love they should get married, right? And she says yes because the last time a woman rejected him he killed her. He gives her a gorgeous ring and she puts it on and only a couple days later she discovers he'd hidden a tracker in it. When she carefully confronts him about it, he brings up his high school girlfriend that disappeared under mysterious circumstances and uses that to justify why knowing where she is at all times is so important to him. She smiles and agrees and later on cries alone in the bathroom because she can't get out of that town soon enough. She starts brainstorming new names for herself in a piece of paper she later burns. While the wedding was supposed to be many months away, he starts talking about his grandma's declining health, and how charming a winter wedding would be, and she agrees to move up the wedding. One day while he's supposed to be away and she's packing her getaway bags, he returns early and catches her red-handed and asks who told her. She plays dumb, and tries not to look in the direction of the knife she stole from the kitchen and tapped to the underside of her night stand. He wants to know who told her he'd moved the wedding to the next day as a surprise, and compliments her for packing the bags for their honeymoon and remarks what a great wife and mother she's going to make if she's that good at anticipating the needs of others. She can't keep the tears in, so she lies and says they're tears of happiness. The next day she puts on the wedding dress and makes the kitchen knife her "something borrowed". Everyone in town gathers for the wedding, but the bride and groom never make it to the altar. The groom is never found. The bride, who makes her way back to civilization wearing a bloodstained wedding dress, is never found either.
Hallmark Movie tropes where a woman visits her rural hometown and fall in love with a random camo wearing musclebound white man because of the power of Christmas, and then leaves her successful city job, and cuck boyfriend to be said man's submissive wife is conservative and possibly even white nationalist propaganda.
In this essay I will...
