I'm back, and I'm taking fanfic commissions once again. If you don't know me, check out my pinned post on my blog to see if you once did!

Whether or not you know me, I lost my job today, and unfortunately I don't have much saved up to support myself while I look for a new one. So I'm jumping back into commissions with a reignited passion driven by the need for survival! What could be better?

Yeah that stopped being a thing many years ago. Fun times. I think a lot of us sort of “grew up” and “grew out” of that mentality. Sometimes you gotta miss the old days though.

I have been watching old game grumps episodes. And is the poly grumps fandom still a thing? It seems like such a product of golden age of game grumps. But I can't imagine it's still being a thing.

in the ten years ive been a fan of the game grumps, i have to say the most baffling subsection of the fandom ive encountered isn't the polygrumps people. it's actually the people who have spent the past two years in deep denial about arin hanson's bisexuality. the ones who see him actively talking about his experiences as a bisexual man and insist that he's joking.

if they were like this about anyone else, i would almost understand? but no. they're like this about a man whose personal lore contains the cornerstone that is the D Club.

I have two RL ships, one is Shane and Ryan and the other is two classic rock band members from the 60s. I did used to feel guilty shipping Shane and Ryan. Anti RL shippers got in my head too much. I never felt guilty about the classic rock ship, one of them's dead, the other is 78, they're not going to read my fanfics.

YAAAAA honestlyyyy Shyan is also one of my very rare RPF ships. Theyre just a fun pair and honestly im hard in love with the whole Demon!Shane AU gahfhdgfgsdfsd..

I think RPF is fine, its just how people ACT About it sometimes. Like if you shove it in those peoples faces and then like threatened the spouses of the actors youre shipping or something (side eyes a SPECIFIC fandom...) then thats??? bad??? Duh?? Like talking about shipping ppl online or posting fics on ao3 or art on social media, thats all fine and dandy. Its always how you treat real people that means anything to me.

Honestly I dont have much RPF ships tbh.... Shyan and probably Polygrumps mostly LOL ♥ Ghost, the band, is interesting because they're a gimmick band, they're all playing Characters, so its not REALLY RPF... and I dont really have ships besides a desire to have two Ghouls all to myself sdffhdf

anyway!! Im glad you dont feel guilty about it, or at least not as guilty I hope. I def understand RPF as a hot topic, a lot of people tend to think 'well I wouldnt like it' and thats fair, but I really kind of view it as... its not even necessarily shipping two real people. Because fans will turn people Into a Character. Summarize them in a handful of personality traits and make them a little less three dimensional lmao so its always been like... In my mind, just. Fictional characters based on real people. And it doesnt have any bearing on the person as long as, again, you arent shoving it in their face, or harassing them + their loved one about it

false accusations are life changing. i cant imagine how dan must feel right now. he has nieces and newphews. and hes been slandered as a fucking pedophile online.

yes yes exactly! And you know what the best part about it is? it can go either way, in either/any universe, and work just as well

Danny is so taken aback that he almost recoils at the sight of his stoic partner suddenly breaking down like this, but catches himself in the moment and goes in for the comfort hug that he hopes it wanted. It very much is, and NB quietly buries his face into the crook of Danny's neck, clinging onto him as he tries to make sense of what's happening.

I am going to be opening up fanfiction commissions today at 5 p.m. EST / 2 p.m. PST!

I have done commissions before back in 2017-2018 in the polygrumps/shipgrumps subgroup of the Game Grumps fandom, and it was a blast! I'm happy to be getting back to writing again as it has always been one of my biggest passions!

I have attached the Terms of Service in this post; feel free to read through ahead of time to familiarize yourself with the terms/pricing!

This is something I'm doing out of necessity as I lost my job today; I'm not sure how long I will be unemployed, so while I'm looking for new work, I figured it's as good an idea as any to go back to comissions!

I certainly do not have the follower count or reach I used to, so if you see this post, please share it with your friends, your followers, or anyone you know who might have some spare money for a well-written and thoughtfully-written fanfic!

I’m way behind on grumps, but I decided to check in on the tag, and saw some people GENUINELY FUCKING ANNOYED that Arin and Dan said they weren’t okay with explicit content made of them. “The final nail in the coffin has been hammered in.” is one post I saw. YOU REALISE THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE RIGHT??? And by the way, just because they said they aren’t okay with ***EXPLICIT*** fanart and fic, that’s the only part of Egobang/Polygrumps they’re explicitly against! AND THEY HAVE E V E R Y F U C K I N G R I G H T TO BE AGAINST/UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT. Your fluff and wholesome fanarts are fine! They never said don’t do that! But if the death of the smut is enough to kill it for you then like. Bro. I don’t even know what to tell you. Good god, I can’t believe people are ACTUALLY ANGRY about them putting their foot down about this. I literally saw someone be like “Dan’s nephew’s shouldn’t even be on adult parts of the internet.” OH YEAH BECAUSE IT’S SO SIMPLE TO AVOID.
