He fucks you like he hates you because secretly he doesn’t.

There's little love in the way Ramattra takes you, leaving bruises and scrapes along your soft flesh because of his heavy handedness and the desperate need he has to convince himself that this is just for your mutually assured stress relief.

It's almost pathetic of him really - bending you into all sorts of positions and watching how much it takes for your fleshy body to give in and let him inside - all because of a few feelings he wasn't brave enough to face up to. Yet even after every time you still return for more, truly a glutton for punishment.

Or maybe you were just like him. Two points of time at a devastatingly slow standstill. Mixed up mirrors of one another, tangled in something equally sweet and sickening he'd spent many a night fixated on.

As the days go on he learns to treat you a little differently. You are smaller, delicate - human, putting your life in his hands in a manner of trust he surely wouldn't hand over to anyone else. Ramattra could crumble you beneath the creaking of his fingers but he wouldn't, he couldn't - and it would enrage him to see anyone else even entertain the idea.

It sours him more to think that he belongs to you just as much as you do to him, and Ramattra shows it to you in the only way he knows how - by grabbing the fat of your hip too hard when he brings you down onto the girthy silicone standing deplorably between his gigantic legs, leaving aching bruises to mask the utter shame of his excitability.

And yet you cry for more, meek mewls and sheer rambling nonsense to spur him on as he splits you open, carving a place for himself deep inside you despite what common sense may seem to scream at him.

Whatever it is that he really feels, said gigantic, terrifying omnic isn't quite ready to face it yet. To face you and the cruel mimic of love you'd plagued him with.

Only, there's no mimic and that just might be what scares him the most.

probably incoherent post but something i keep thinking about is how this production translates over the "borrowed robes" theme in macbeth

of course all of the characters minus lady m are dressed very similarly but duncan's buttoned-up jacket is what visually separates him from the rest of the thanes including macbeth in 1.4

and after the porter interlude/duncan's murder macbeth comes back wearing his jacket in the same way. when he first got promoted to thane of cawdor 1.3 he says to ross "the thane of cawdor lives, why do you dress me in borrowed robes?" and this is kind of a literal translation in the costuming of those "borrowed robes", how he's taken duncan's position in the same way he's taken the title of the thane of cawdor (almost too easily, in accordance with the witches' prophecies)

also from a more metaphorical perspective it invokes the image of him closing himself off in a way, from his guilt, from the horror of what he's done

but of course macbeth doesn't fit very well into the mold of the king, especially without having any heir to the throne. all he can think about is how easily he had been able to take the crown, and how easily he could be overthrown, especially with the banquo prophecy running in the back of his mind. so even though he dresses like duncan did w his closed jacket and the crown there are several moments where he breaks away from/you can feel his unease with his "borrowed robes"

he takes off the crown during the "fruitless crown" soliloquy where he talks abt the whole issue w banquo's prophecy/his lack of heirs

he takes off the crown again when he talks to the murderers, symbolizing how he isn't talking to them as a king to his subjects, but as a commander to his soldiers

the way he runs his hand down the front of his chest in the scene where the murderers kill banquo also. can mean many things but i interpret it as trying to smooth out his outfit - there is a reason he had to hire murderers to take out banquo and fleance rather than doing it himself. he's the king now, and he isn't supposed to get his hands dirty

and of course right after the banquet scene and before he meets the witches again he takes off the crown and unbuttons his jacket bc he's stripping himself down, making himself vulnerable to them (he literally cuts himself open to summon them)

he also doesn't wear the crown or button up his jacket past this point bc he believes he's invincible and doesn't need the "borrowed robes" to protect himself anymore

idk if this totally makes sense but yeah. costuming decision that lives in my mind rent free
