It is absolutely insane how in all these years of network tv, there have been, what, 2 procedural shows with two women as the leads?? Finished watching Rizzoli and Isles and it was a fantastic show!! I wish there was more or at least, more like it? I go to try and find more and there's nothing. Nothing but Cagney and Lacey.
It is a damn shame that there aren't more shows like this. I loved their relationship and wish more shows had that dynamic. Shows need to do better.

rewatching some crime dramas coz i love a good procedural show. the one thing that ALWAYS ticks me off on all these shows is the peoples houses that they are either investigating or the dead persons home. They are always immaculate. no laundry left lying around, no clutter. They dont look like someone lived in them. or they look like someone did an amazing spring clean. for a dead person who didn't know they would be murdered thats weird. for someone they're investigating thats suspicious -_- did you know people were coming samantha? thats why you cleaned right?!

Saying Harmony Cobel isn't an important enough character to have her own episode after it's revealed that she created the thing the show is named for is just embarrassing.

I need a parallel of the "because, Evan" scene where it's Buck saying "because, Edmundo" where he, in turn, reaffirms Eddie's worth both in general but also as an integral figure in Buck's life, and if in that scene they just happen to be playing Uno when a serious conversation crops up, and Buck just so happens to play an Uno reverse as he drives his point home?

Sometime going into a trending tag is very funny. "If the two male leads of this tv show from the 2000s/early 2010s don't canonically end up together, I don't know what I will do with myself !"
I don't know how to explain to you that before, like, 2017, This Did Not Happen. There were straight couple, and next to them were Ambigusly Close Men (Often With Female Love Interests), and you considered yourself lucky if in the finale they weren't in straight relationships. There were hints. There were gay actors, there were jokey "ahah let's not talk about New Year Party!", there were people being homophobic to them. But it was known that they Would Not End Up Together.
Please manage your expectations.

i would have loved an episode of Dexter that was from everyone else's perspectives like Dexter is just there doing his job with as much screentime as an extra and in the very background of other characters scenes you can sort of see him lurking but he mostly just looks a little weird instead of homicidal and then at the end of the episode the perp they've been trying to catch has mysteriously disappeared and Angel's just like why does this keep happening to us specifically 😔

Here's the thing I think people forget, not all media needs to be critically acclaimed or objectively good, sometimes it can just be enjoyable for the target audience

I think the Pitt's biggest victory is having its entire group of main and supporting characters feel like real people you know and interact with. You don't get a lot of shows that have such depth in storytelling when saying so little at times with characters who all consistently behave like the complicated and layered people we all are.
