I 100% agree with the criticism that the central problem with "AI"/LLM evangelism is that people pushing it fundamentally do not value labour, but I often see it phrased with a caveat that they don't value labour except for writing code, and... like, no, they don't value the labour that goes into writing code, either. Tech grifter CEOs have been trying to get rid of programmers within their organisations for years – long before LLMs were a thing – whether it's through algorithmic approaches, "zero coding" development platforms, or just outsourcing it all to overseas sweatshops. The only reason they haven't succeeded thus far is because every time they try, all of their toys break. They pretend to value programming as labour because it's the one area where they can't feasibly ignore the fact that the outcomes of their "disruption" are uniformly shit, but they'd drop the pretence in a heartbeat if they could.

this one gave me an idea about an advanced super computer built at a university by students, and he falls in love with the one put in charge of testing his "human interaction and caretaking" protocol. they're a bit apprehensive, obviously.

if the computer can learn to see humans as "good," and meant to be cared for," hopefully he won't go against his programming and try to exterminate them (like many of the university's prototypes). however, he seems to only care for one human in particular...

Backgrounds are ok but will increase price (likely ~$150-175 depending on complexity) multiple characters are ok but will be charged each as individual pieces.

Again, this is a birthday gift, the request was jesterlily. Some miscellaneous info:

-This is an alternate setting where smilk and lily ended up making some type of deal. She got the questions, he got the answers, and the rest is history. Smilk didn't kill EF in this scenario.

-Due to the deal, their magics are connected, smilk now can enter lily's dreams which is where the comic took place. He has been doing it repeatedly which is why lily emphasized he has been "coming here again"

-This is my second time drawing lily and vani interacting, when referring to "your friend," smilk is specifically talking about pure vanilla

-Apologies for any mistakes or clumsy dialogues I am certifiably sleep eepy during the quality checking process

My cats have basically become my anti-crunch-time monitor – not because they particularly try to stop me from doing it, but because the older one has figured out that when I'm working at my computer late into the night, she can ask me for her evening meal every thirty minutes and I won't remember any of the previous times I've fed her.
