OZ: What is it?

AKIRA: Do you think you could use this tomato sauce to doodle on this omelet? See that customer waving their hand? It’s actually a request from them.

OZ: Doodle… Why me?

AKIRA: Well, to quote their fervent plea: "That sophisticated gentleman put me under a spell the minute I saw him! Please, you have to do me a favor!”

OZ: Spell…

AKIRA: They were kind enough to dine at this cafe, so I’d like to accommodate their request. Could you do this for me? No pressure, of course.

OZ: I don’t mind. Just tell me what to draw.

AKIRA: Anything works!

AKIRA: I know you and the Central Wizards would sometimes draw on pancakes with honey. Maybe something along those lines.

OZ: All right. Hand me the sauce. *silence*

AKIRA: Is that…a winking bunny?! Wow, you’re so good at this!

OZ: I can draw bears, too, if you'd like.

AKIRA: Really?! Ooh, you know what might make the customer happier? If there's a bear next to the bunny!

OZ: Very well. *silence* AKIRA: Hnng, cute stuff…

OZ: …I’ve seen that same look on Arthur’s and Riquet’s faces.

AKIRA: Huh?

OZ: Riquet would complain that my drawings looked nothing like a real bear, so he made me practice and practice… Seeing your reaction, I suppose children do love this sort of thing.

AKIRA: (Oh, Oz… At the two’s request, his art must have improved after much practice.) I’m sure even adults would find this a delight! Let me show this to the customer right away!

OZ: All right.

Oz: The moon tonight is so beautiful that it is disgusting.

Arthur: Perhaps I should refrain from saying this, however…there are times when I cannot help but admire that large moon…

Cain: I remember you saying this world’s moon is big. What’s it like having a sky with such a small moon?

Riquet: There is a clear view of the moon through the big dining room windows late at night. Would you like to come see it with me tonight?

Northern Wizards:

Snow: The fifteenth night is an evening to drink with the moon as a backdrop… I see, it seems there is yet another fun festival in store for us tonight.

White: Sage, I often see you often gaze up at the moon. I wonder if perhaps the moons we each see differ from one another.

Mithra: Sigh… I really will kill you one day.

Owen: Why is it that the moon is feared by all? …Even though it's so beautiful.

Bradley: If that moon weren’t the “Great Calamity”, I’d’ve loved to try drinking to it.

Eastern Wizards:

Faust: Hmph, tonight seems to be another unnecessarily beautiful moonlight night.

Shino: I don’t think I can enjoy watching that calamity.

Heathcliff: Of course, I love the sight of sunlight filtering through the trees during the day, but the way the moon’s sunlight hits the leaves at night is lovely as well… Ah, “moon’s sunlight” doesn’t quite make sense does it…?

Nero: That's the “Great Calamity”; so pretty you can hardly believe it.

Western Wizards:

Shylock: For the troublesome man whose love for the moon destroyed him, it seems to be a joyful night.

Murr: It looks like the moon is pretty close today. But if you get too close, you’ll be pushed back.

Chloe: Do you think the moon has a family? Two “calamities” would be pretty scary, but sometimes I wonder if it ever gets lonely…

Rustica: Master Sage, I heard the moon in your world is quite small. Perhaps it is still a child?

Figaro: Don’t you think tonight’s moon is abominably beautiful?

Uhhm, hello, mhyk tag, there are some works of mine that you've probably seen on ao3, but I am going to reshare them just in case someone missed them and will appreciate them.

The stars look especially distant on nights like this. These small far away dots, smaller than the tiniest grains an unexperienced wizard can produce, are believed to be watching the world for all eternity. The Great Philosopher Murr Hart even claimed that a life span of just a single star lasts thousand times longer than a life of a wizard. No matter how strong that wizard can be.

Which only made the idea of these far away things writing the inevitable outcome for every life down on this earth even more absurd. Cruel. Unfair.

Still, if one ever asked what the past Demon Queen feels about her allmighty self still being powerless against what is written by the stars, they would get neither positive nor negative answer. Oz felt nothing bitter towards the stars as she never felt need to feel something about things out of her reach. She has always known that even if she is able to cast a storm and to hide a myriad of constellations behind the dark clouds, they would never fall apart because of her magic. She might had been able to hear once or twice their quiet and humiliating sneer from above, the one Figaro used to tell her about. But she still believes it was most likely just a crispy whisper of frozen wind. 

She has nothing against the starry sky because it has never done her anything particularly bothersome. Not a single star has ever tried to kill her and turn to stone. Never any of them crashed her castle trying to steel something from her. And she herself had nothing to prove them. 

The strongest witch of the world could be called powerful, ruthless, terrible, cruel and any other words others wanted. She never minded them. But she's always known that calling her an ambitious one would be... not quite correct. 

Maybe not being hungry for power was a mistake back then?...

"Lady Oz! Lady Oz, I'm... are you here?..."

A small voice about to break into tears finally reaches her ears through the chorus of freezing winds and the whispers of restless spirits always surrounding her. Oz turns her eyes away from the stars above and looks at the child standing on the balcony entrance. Barefoot and with trembling lips. 

"I am here, Arthur", agrees the witch. "And you are not sleeping."

"Yes, I know, I am so bad, because... I am so sorry!" 

The boy is about to burst into tears, which is not the safest thing to do outside in the North at night. His face will be hurt if he does. 

"You should go back inside."

"I need to apologize first!"

She needs to teach him faster how to keep himself protected from cold, the witch notes to herself as she watches a tiny wizard clenching his shaking more and more fists. How stubborn this small creature can be. 

Vox Nox

Even as the spell sounds and a swirl of warm air surrounds him, Arthur doesn't stop shaking. He doesn't even dare to rise his head and look at her with his eyes usually so hungry for attention and freshly made pancakes and answers to each of his questions, even the most confusing ones. 

"Thank you..." he finally manages to mutter, sniffling and trying to wipe away tears. "Thank you, Lady Oz, I..."

"You don't need to tell."

Now that she pays attention, she has noticed the change about her castle. So she asks no questions, simply states as a fact.

"You have broken the bottle that Lords Snow and White brought me at their last visit."

The boy nods, his cheeks swollen from tears become even redder. 

"I am so sorry..."

It was a bottle of wine, made by a wizard from the West. Or was it a treasured possession of another wizard the twins defeated? Probably one of those. Oz didn't really pay much attention to their chatter. But she definitely told Arthur not to touch that bottle. Because children are not supposed to drink wine. Or touch others' things without their permission. 

But he did the exact opposite thing. It is not the first time when it happens. It seems like children just have it in nature to misbehave. So Oz is not surprised.

She even wonders if Snow and White were right to put her in her place "for the sake of becoming a good and obedient child". They called that disciplining. They explained that it was necessary to be done. 

"So why did you do it, Arthur? Do you want to drink the wine?"

"N-no, I don't, Lady Oz, I... the bottle just had such funny letters.. I wanted to read where it is from, but I was clumsy, and it rolled, and then..."

The moment the twins understood that this child was going to stay at her castle for some uncertainly long time, they started giving her advice she had never asked for. They talked endlessly that bringing up a child is an uneasy task even for a strong witch like her, that it requires being strict and consistent.

Reflect.

The air Oz breaths in feels like freezing her up to her bones. As even her lungs were turned into ice. But it's not because of her protective spell being broken. It's because the body of the strongest witch of the world remembers after so many centuries. 

She remembers how cold it was. She remembers how hard it was to move even an eyeball, how it took all the magic bursting fiercely inside to keep her body and her mind from being frozen to the death. She remembers how that night alone seemed longer than all of her life that had came before. And how humiliatingly compassionate about her staying barely alive by the morning the voices of the twins sounded. 

But she doesn't remember.

She doesn't remember what she was supposed to reflect on. 

So she breaths out and watches how a tiny white cloud rises up to the sky above. The stars in that dark sky have seen every mistake every child has made. The stars know every crime a child yet unborn will commit one day. But they still remain beautiful to those children's wonderous eyes. 

"Did you get hurt?" Oz asks and the boy shakes his head immediately. "Are you sure? The bottle was made of glass. It's very sharp when broken."

"I am fine, Lady Oz..."

"And your clothes? Do I need to clean them from the wine you spilled?"

"N-no, but it's very messy... on the table and the floor..."

The table. Of course. The table is where the bottle was left. 

"Next time it has to be a shelf," concludes the witch on her reflection and meets a pair of surprised eyes, still glimmering from too many tears they've cried out. 

"You are not angry with me?..."

"You apologized. And you will help me to clean the mess... no, it's better not to." The shards are too sharp after all. "Just don't do it next time. Do you understand?"

"Yes. Yes, Lady Oz, I won't do it!"

The answer seems satisfying enough for some reason. So all that is left is to make sure the child goes to sleep this time. 

"Then, let's go back inside"

Just DAMN!!!!

Ok so I been watching this anime called Promise of Wizard and just found out there was a game to it not like I can play it cause I don't even think it is in english. The worst part is the review on the game is its an otome you can't even romance any of the guys like WTF! These men are too damn hot not to get to date them. I remember the first time i watched the anime I was like they are so pretty and then to find out there is a game but no option to romance sighs..........its a sad day for us ladies. So these are my hotties that I would have gave anything to romance who knows if i can get a idea of their personality before the anime is over I might can write fan fic.
