Danny is a damn good mechanic. Working on his parents automobiles have made how he works on vehicles a bit unorthodox. Why disassemble half of the entire car to get to the battery when you could just go in intangibly? OSHA is a scam and a fraud. So what if Nightwing sees him put tension on some coil springs he needs to add back to a cars suspension BY HAND BY SQUISHING IT DOWN and using safety squints while he secures everything in place. He also can MacGyver up absolutely anything you’ll ever need and anything you never should ever attach to your vehicle. All he asks is that no one ever repairs that part besides himself till the end of time or risk a chance of the item exploding in your face. Is it made out of half a toaster and a raspberry pi? Yes. It can however allow you to see the real time positions of any cop within 25 miles and that’s worth rapid disassembly.

Something I never really thought about until the recent chapters of Deltarune is Kris’s agility and gracefulness. They elegantly twirl while gliding through the air during the cooking minigame, even with plates of food stacked on their head.

They possess an incredible sense of balance, seeing as they can stack a multitude of items on their head without fail in both chapters two and three.

They also have excellent technique when it comes to turning. When they perform a pirouette/spin during battle in either chapter one or chapter four, their foot is pointed, their balance is well maintained, and their spotting is very consistent.

They’re also pretty remarkable when it comes to doing squat kicks at a quick speed, as seen in both chapter two and chapter three.

While some of this could be a result of the influence of the player, I do still believe Kris possesses a lot of skill when it comes to dancing. Their abilities could nod to the notion that they were a dancer at some point, or at the very least took dance classes.

Thinking about my idea with Steve’s mom telling him when he was little that angels put beauty marks on people who are too pretty to be put out into the world- that the more marks, the more beautiful you are, but no one can see you truly until they count every single mark. And Steve is covered in them, which means he was too beautiful even for heaven to bear.

So every night before they went away, she’d snuggle up next to him and begin counting his beauty marks as she told the story once again. Finishing her count with a kiss to the ones under his left eye before slowly unwrapping her arms from him as he struggled to keep his eyes open,

and then she’d be gone. And he never know for how long.

But he could always stand in the mirror and try to count his marks like she did, although he’d never get them all.

And maybe one night Eddie starts absently tracing the marks, connecting them like constellations across Steve’s back as they lay together in bed. Starts counting under his breath as Steve feels his eyes struggling to contain the tears he know won't make sense.

Ever since the portal accident, Danny has always seemed a bit… off, to other people. But even before that, he’d always been seen as a bit of a weird kid. The people of Amity Park were, even at the start, a bit used to it.

The people of Gotham, however, were not.

If anything, they were the opposite. Living in the ‘city of crime’ had built within them keen survival instincts. Instincts that went on full blast in the halfa’s vicinity.

Most simply avoided him. Homeless shelters turned him away. Jobs, even the less than legal ones, hesitated to hire him. Sometimes people would even call the cops if he stuck around in any one place for too long.

Not even the city’s mysterious vigilantes trusted him. He sometimes caught glimpses of their masked eyes following him from the shadows. Watching. Waiting for him to show his true colors.

Or maybe he was just hallucinating. He couldn’t be entirely sure. He didn’t dare transform and risk bringing down further suspicion on himself, nor could he ask anyone to corroborate for what he saw either. So instead, he just curled further in on himself. Surreptitiously using his powers to steal the bare necessities for himself and avoiding everyone.

Not even during the worst of the anti-ghost sentiment in Amity had Danny felt so alone.
