The nearer the end of his shift came, the more nervous Tommy got. What was he doing? What was he even thinking? A guy like Evan was miles out of his league, even if Tommy wasn't still hiding in the closet.

Tommy said goodbye to Hen and considered skipping the drink Evan had promised him. He could just turn left instead of—

No such luck. Evan was waiting for him a few feet down the sidewalk.

"Hey Tommy," he called out, his handsome face lighting up in a bright smile.

Ignoring the sudden tingling in his stomach, Tommy approached him with a few quick steps.

"Hey," he said, not able to not smile back. "How's that head feel?"

Buck held his breath as he felt Tommy’s approach.

“Breathe, baby,” Tommy told him gently. “Are you nervous?”

“N-no. I’m.. excited.”

Tommy smiled. “That’s good, but I need you to try to relax for me.”

Buck exhaled slowly, willing his body to become relaxed.. pliable..

His jaw fell softly open as he felt Tommy begin to stretch him. Tommy had done this with fingers, but this was.. different. Better. More full.

Warm electricity pulsed through him; his heart thundered in his chest.

“This okay?”

Buck nodded, voracious.

Tommy chuckled. “You want more?”

“I want it,” Buck assured him. “I w-want everything.”

Tommy leaned down to kiss him deeply. Pulling back to lightly breathe, “Of course you do, baby.”

Writing an "Approachable" Character

Being approachable - means others feel comfortable starting a conversation with you or asking you questions.

Approachable people have:

strong communication skills and

demonstrate open body language.

How to Be More Approachable

Here are some tips to help you learn how to look approachable in social situations in the workplace:

Be positive and friendly: If you develop a reputation for being a kind and considerate person, your team members will be more willing to approach you with their questions and concerns. Show interest in what they’re doing and use an encouraging tone of voice.

Show you are available: It can be tempting to look at your phone or appear busy to avoid interactions when you are in a social situation. Instead, keep your head up and be ready to start a conversation at any time.

Use friendly and open body language: Your nonverbal body language can say a lot about how willing you are to talk to others. Avoid looking stern by frowning or folding your arms; instead, smile and keep an open posture. Make eye contact with others and use positive facial expressions. Try to avoid nervous habits like fidgeting, which could make you appear nervous to talk to others.

Question for everyone tonight:

When playing IFs, do you have a preference for how sexuality/attraction is presented? Do you prefer to explicitly state your MC's identity (i.e. fully stating 'I'm bisexual' or 'I'm asexual'); do you prefer to keep it a little more vague (i.e. 'I'm interested in women' or 'I'm not interested in anyone'); or do you prefer not selecting in-game at all and simply choosing whichever options you choose?

Since I'm currently writing the first conversation that includes gender & queerness in-story, this has been on my mind quite a bit.

The specific framing is something I've gone back and forth on, and now that I'm at a ~point of no return~ on the subject, I figured I'd reach out and see if anybody had specific thoughts!

 Duke is kind of confused. Scratch that he’s very confused. And concerned. More concerned than confused actually. Like Bruce is back from apparently being lost in time, sweet! That’s great! 

 But uh, should he be concerned about the several ghost children now following him around? Should he mention it? Bruce has to know, right? Like he’s half certain that one just picked up a book right in front of him and dropped it in his lap, so Bruce isn’t oblivious right?

So I'm thinking if I get to ask a question at a panel at the con of maybe something like asking about how whenever Sam flinches at sudden noises/violence he always has this profound look of shame about the fact that he flinch and if that was an intentional layer that Jared added to that?

Black Canary does her best to be there for her fellow heroes, both as a therapist and as a hero, but she’s only one person. She can’t be there for everyone, and she’s not the right therapist for all of them either. She needs help, someone who the heroes can trust.

That’s when a man reaches out to her. He says he heard about her plight, and he is a licensed therapist who can help. Tells her not to worry, he has a lot of experience in helping out other heroes. Danny has a sort of … twinkle in his eye. A sad twinkle. He tells her he specializes in helping teen heroes. That he knows a thing or two about being surrounded by tragedy.

Her first concern is how he even heard about a job she hadn’t approached the League about yet.
