I recently became aware of a whole bunch of obscure punctuation marks that I never knew existed.  As a result of this discovery, I’ve created a series of images that honor these obscure punctuation marks.   Not sure anyone will ever actually use these punctuation marks but you could try to using them now and again to show your friends that you know a little something.  Just don't expect to get rich in the process. Believe me, you won't.

The “Love “Point is a punctuation mark used to express affection or a romantic sentiment. It's essentially a stylized heart symbol used in place of more formal punctuation.  It's used to express a feeling of love, affection, or a romantic subtext.  It's often seen in informal online communication, such as texting and in social media. Using it is a bold and fancy move so use it wisely so nobody gets the wrong idea. Sadly, the Love Point seems to have been replaced with the face emoji that has enlarged heart-shaped eyes.  Is there anything Emoji's don't ruin? Still, The Love Point is a pretty cool piece of punctuation if you can figure out how to make it.

hawkeye and trapper get fake septums

On page 1, frank burns squints at Hawkeye from a short distance, who is next to Trapper, who is reading a newspaper that obscures his face. "Pierce," Burns asks, "what's on your face?" Hawkeye turns to face him, revealing a septum piercing. "what's what, Frank?" he asks. Shocked and affronted by this breach in army regulations, he shouts, "I can't!! Believe you!! It's not enough for you to disagrace the army uniform by being out of it all the time? You have to go and--and do that! You look like a punk! Or a cow!"

On page 2, Hawkeye, unbothered, replies "Y'know, Frank, I'm finally living up to the Pierce name. I was thinking about going for some ear tag earrings. Maybe I can get a nurse to pull my udders." Frank howls, "That's disgusting!" Turning to Trapper he shouts, "Did you have anything to do with this, McIntyre?" Trapper pulls down the newspaper to reveal that he's wearing three septum rings and says, "I sure did! He stole my look!"

On page 3, Frank says "You're both terrible. Both of your butts are going on report!" while Hawkeye takes out his apparently fake septum ring behind his back. "Report for what, Frank?" he asks; Frank turns to see that the piercing is now missing. "Yeah, what's the matter, Frank?" Trapper says, whose piercing is suddenly missing as well. Frank storms off, yelling "Neither of you can pull the wool over my eyes!! Just wait until General Barker hears about this!" Some time later, Frank is standing next to General Barker, pointing at Hawk. "General, I'm telling you, the hole is THERE!" he shouts. "Go and take a look in those nostrils for yourself!" There is a long and awkward pause. The General did not like that. Hawkeye remarks, "Gee Frank, take a girl to dinner first." end id]

in my mind since Peach hasn't seen any of the movies the bros grew up with they have a movie night every weekend where they rotate who picks the movie each week (luigi picked twilight only partially because it gets on Mario's nerves) also dialogue is typed out under the cut cuz I know it's hard to read

Luigi: What team are you on? Jacob or Edward? I'm team Edward.

Peach: Jacob for sure. Edward is creepy... How about you Mario? What team are you on?

Mario: Neither! they're both weird and this movie sucks.

Luigi: Oh booo.

This is another in the series.  Not sure anyone will ever actually use these punctuation marks but you could try to adding them in as part of your social media dating app profile.  Who knows, you might get lucky. 

The "Irony Mark" is a punctuation mark designed to indicate a hidden subtext or ironic meaning in a sentence. It's meant to help readers understand that the text may be sarcastic, cynical, or expressing a subtext that is different from what the words explicitly say. The mark typically precedes the sentence to which it applies. 

You can certainly try using it nowadays but the irony would be..... very few would understand what you’re talking about. But…. you would.  And really, that’s all that matters.
