I have a few things to say about Quackity's stream and the QSMP as a whole.

If you haven't watched the stream, please do so here, I refuse to paraphrase and believe it should be watched in its entirety to form your own opinions. [Here is the YouTube link]

First of all; I don't think any of the actions Quackity took were deliberately malicious. I believe, in my opinion, he got swept up in the excitement and hype surrounding this new project, and we all know how easily that can happen. It's so easy to ignore the small things when you are being showered in positivity.

I think the project got far bigger than he thought which opens up everything to a lot of criticism.

But he does not deserve to feel unsafe, nor is it any sort of appropriate to send him death threats under any circumstances. Nor to anyone, that is a line we should not cross.

Please, for the love of everything, remember this is one of the biggest projects he has ever attempted. Balancing management, his real life, and his public figure status must be incredibly stressful, and you can only do that for so long until things start to go unnoticed. Someone spread so thin is bound to crack, and unfortunately, I think that's what happened with the administration. He's an incredibly busy guy, and to expect him to be so hands-on with the project while keeping up with the rest of his life and future prospects is an inhumane task to keep up with.

Yes, I absolutely agree that healthy amounts of criticism are necessary in something as groundbreaking as this. But under no circumstances *ever* does that become something you can threaten another's safety over.

I also agree he should have said something and apologized to the previous admins who were brave enough to share their story. But I also can agree with the fact this might have been better done privately, at least as much as possible, because the moment you get the public involved someone malicious is going to rip their words apart to use in whatever fashion they wish.

But it's hard to be truly objective and honest when every word you ever say online could be misconstrued and twisted to suit another's fancy.

I think that's where most of the issue lies, at least to me. There are systems in place when handled in a law environment to protect those affected. The moment anything goes public, it's free game for someone to use as they wish.

I think in certain situations, getting the public involved in the good fight is a sound decision, for a group of people are louder than one individual. But it can also grow wildly out of control if not handled properly, and for a delicate situation like this, I think it's only drawn the whole situation out to a painful amount.

I dislike the fact that a lot of my passion has disappeared for the server because this server is full of people whose content I enjoyed previously and some I've only now discovered.

But, I still do believe it's possible for us to hold hope. I have to hold onto that because if there truly is a way for this to turn around it can serve as an example it's possible to recover and put your best foot forward.

I think there's been mistakes all around, blown wildly out of proportion, but I do still want to give this place a chance.

Because what an example it could become if solutions can be found that helps all the parties and the fandom affected by this all.

That's all. Again, this is just my opinion, and I want to discuss it if people want to talk about it reasonably.

Please form your own thoughts after watching the stream, and try to keep an open mind. I understand this might drive a lot of people away, but I believe in the heart of what QSMP is.

This server and community are meant to unite people from across the world. Let's give it a chance to continue to do so, eh?

I do not blame the admins for doing what they had to. I'm proud of the brave actions they took facing such a massive community head-on.

I just wish it all could have gone down differently, but we can't change the past, only hope for a better future.

Apparently, yes, Pomme's ADM left the QSMP. I honestly have no idea about the future of the French on the server right now, in fact, I don't even have a clue about the future of the server. I say again that it should have been closed so they could do the proper work with the necessary changes.

I remember some of the CC's like Antoine said they wouldn't want to play on the server again if it meant losing Pomme.The truth is that the majority of the server won't want to play much without eggs. They are important, especially for Lore. ADM also said it doesn't feel right to let someone else play Pomme because she created all of the character development, personality, etc. Which is true, although QMSP originally had an idea of creating a French egg, Pomme itself came into being at the hands of ADMS.

It's sad.

P.S.And Dapper´S adm also decided to leave.So, I don't know how this will work for BBH.

I didn't wanted to share this at first because I honest didn't want any whiplash to affect Xandão, but this screenshots has been circulating already, so I at least wanted to translate it and not leave to the auto translator to fuck with his words.

I was not watching the chat at the time so I am not sure of the whole context, I only know some people were asking him questions on Bagi's chat, which were mostly silly things about certain decisions he made with his characters and remembering funny moments with him and Bagi, but then some people started to ask stuff about the admin situation.

I've been reblogging a lot about the situation this morning and just gathering my thoughts in general, so I'd just like to offer my stance on everything so far:

Read up on and listen to the issues that Léa and any other ex-admins, admins, etc, are bringing up because their concern is important and valid. But also, take everything with a grain of salt. You can empathize with the admins and criticize the decisions being made right now (ie.what seems to be a lack of communication), but also don't take everything you see at 100% face value and acknowledge that restructuring how an entire studio is run is going to take a lot of time and is also a process that requires many complicated factors.

Keep in mind, it's only been 3 days since the whole situation was revealed. I'm certain that nothing being implemented right now is definitive. If it was, then it would be a really stupid and shitty move that both fans and CC's will call out immediately. Basically, just wait and see for now.

Right now, as audiences, we've taken a stand with the admins and continue to express that we want things to properly change for the better, but we also don't fully know what is going on behind the scenes. Our sources are vague and not 100% reliable, so speculating about things will only bring you unecessary stress and anxiety. If this is genuinely bringing up a lot of anxiety for you, I highly recommend taking a break from the topic and giving yourself the time and space to process the information and breathe.

Personally, I found myself stressing out about the situation after reading up on everything, so I decided to just step back, eat lunch with my friends, and draw for a bit. And now, I feel confident enough to articulate this post and come back to the topic with a new perspective.

I can't tell you to have 100% faith in Quackity or anyone else on the matter. But if we can infer anything from his tone during his stream on Sunday, then we can at least agree that he's taking this seriously, and wants to make things right.

It's genuinely such a turbulent time right now, and we're in the middle of a very complicated process. For now all we need to do is to continue to give love to the admins and prioritize your mental wellbeing as well.

The more I hear about the details and testimonies of the qsmp admins (specifically rn Lea’s interview on Nat_Ali’s channel) the more the existence of and seeing them having fun on The Shelter makes me so happy.

It warms my heart to see something good that came out of this and they were able to find each other.

while I really appreciate that some eggs got to say goodbye, it makes me even sadder to know that most of them never got the chance of doing so, they gave everything of themselves to interpret these characters and they were fired or ghosted without reasoning or explanation. That's why I find it very hard to "trust the new admins", and it doesn't help that there's no one to hold accountable, just some invisible all powerful new admins.

For those who don’t know, Léa used to be an admin at Quackity studios. She was an actor, writer, builder, translator, illustrator and community manager on the QSMPGlobal twitter account. She played many characters such as DanSir the capybara and Lapin the french rabbit (blue tie).

Time to discuss a little seriously. Some people are confused by the negative reception of the server's merchandise, which in this case is the egg dolls, especially Pomme's. I'm going to give my view in a neutral way to try to see if people understand the points that both sides want to raise. As everyone knows, server merchandise is something that can guarantee money to pay the administrators, despite arriving late, it should have arrived sooner. But if this can solve part of the problem, why are people so negative about it? Currently, some ADMS are actually leaving, many are leaving reports on Twitter about their experiences pointing out that there is still a lot of poor communication between the team. This is why people are so skeptical about spending money on merchandise, because the public wants to ensure that the money will actually reach the administrators. As the QSMP currently also does not have clear communication with the public, people's fears are somewhat obvious. And that's why there is so much negativity towards the Pomme doll, because in particular, this situation began to be exposed with the French ADM's and with the possibility of losing Pomme's ADM. That's why it's a delicate area. They want to know if ADM isn't going to be fired, because let's face it, if she is, why spend money on the merchandise if she isn't going to get the money? There are no French ADMs, and there aren't many ADMs who speak Portuguese either, especially now that we've already lost one who played Agent18. It is normal for these communities to expect that ADMs are being respected, and that they receive due reward for their work.

It is infuriating to see this happening, Pancks and Ana speaking about the complete lack of communication with the admins is infuriating, there is no other word for that. And using the "volunteer" excuse will not save this situation now, since at least Ana confirmed to be a paid employee(even if extremely bad paid).

I really can't understand this. Since the beginning one of the worst issues the admins have spoken about was the lack of communication. And this is the thing that breaks me because this is not a money problem, communication is free especially when you have your employees and volunteers in the same fucking discord server, you could have not sent a singular message to them?
