ALICE: So each of the cases is categorized on four metrics with a standard integer scale, that’s your DPHW.
GWEN: Okay. Now I’m pretty sure I need to try and keep them as even as possible.
ALICE: Ok, so, it makes sense that if you’re low on “W” that means we should probably prioritize processing cases with a higher rank on that metric to bring the average up, right? … So, it’s just a hunch but I bet if we have a look at old cases and then try and sort by “W” we can find out which cases got the biggest scores in that metric and reverse engineer what you need … Now, unless I’m wrong, which, let’s be honest, is pretty damn likely, when we cross reference this shortlist for common terms we’ll find out what Freddy thinks you need and that... is... more... Bonzo?
Loving finally getting a breakdown for why DPHW is important, here.
Now I, like the utter nerd I am, have been tracking the DPHW of each case on a spreadsheet, and therefore was able to do some quick sorting just like Alice. Bonzo is definitely our highest W scorer of the lot – he’s got 2 of the 5 cases ranked as “8” on that metric, though he tends to score pretty high on P and H as well.
However.
We are not low on W. When you add up the total DPWHs of every case we’ve gotten so far, you get:
D – 136 (average score 3.2)
P – 148 (average score 3.5)
H – 210 (average score 5.0)
W – 218 (average score 5.2)
W is the highest metric. So either it needs to be the highest, and the balance only works if it’s at the top...
…Or Freddie is lying about what’s needed, and intentionally trying to send things haywire.
Not too much mercury or the world ends, not too much sulfur or we all go mad…

There’s a certain school of Benjamin Sisko characterization - sometimes that even crops up on my own posts - that I’ll summarize in broad strokes as the “chill and unbothered” interpretation of him. This manifests in a few different ways, sometimes with the idea that he just wants to relax and do his hobbies without getting besieged by his responsibilities, or sometimes with the idea that his male rivals get homoerotically obsessed with him while he’s apathetic to them and baffled by their investment in him.
As for the former, it is true that Benjamin Sisko is heavily burdened and at times liable to break under the strain, and that’s part of what is so deliciously compelling about his character. He begins the show traumatized and world-weary and seriously considering resigning from Starfleet, and he goes through another dark night of the soul after Jadzia’s death at the end of season six (and I’d say there are indications it’s still haunting him through the first third of season seven). And the show emphasizes the massive toll that the war is taking on him on numerous occasions.
But the other thing that is deliciously compelling about him is the way he grabs onto his responsibilities with both hands and refuses to let go, even though his resolve is tested over and over. This is demonstrated in episodes like Behind the Lines, where he can’t stand being put behind a desk while the Defiant goes out on missions and feels a desperate need to be in the thick of things (a restlessness that drives him to put forth the plan to retake the station in the next episode). And while he intends to build a house on Bajor, he is not planning to resign his Starfleet commission - he tells Ross, “I will go wherever they send me. But when I go home, it will be to Bajor.” He is committed to his duties and believes in Starfleet’s ideals, very strongly. And while he is tempted to throw aside the role of Emissary in Accession, he is driven to seize it back because of his own values (and in Rapture, he gets to the point that he is willing to put his health and life at risk in order to understand the visions he’s having). He feels an intense amount of personal responsibility and is loathe to cede that responsibility, and he’s sometimes outright zealous in his manifestation of those traits.
And it’s precisely that need to take the reins that makes him inclined towards personal vendettas. This is very apparent in For the Uniform, in which his pursuit of Eddington is extremely personally motivated. He resents being taken off the assignment to catch him, because it’s a blip in a twenty-five year service record, and he’s absolutely furious that Eddington outsmarted him. It’s an injury to his pride and a loss of control that he can’t countenance. His conflict with Dukat is less a matter of pride, but after the events of Waltz, Sisko still sees it as his personal duty to defeat Dukat when the time comes, because of his moral disgust towards Dukat and his protectiveness towards Bajor. He tells Jadzia, “it’s him or me,” effectively picking up the gauntlet that Dukat throws down.
All in all, one of his defining traits is that he is very passionately invested in whatever he designates as his realm of responsibility. There are times when he wants to get away from it all, and when he feels torn in two by his competing commitments to Bajor and Starfleet. But he keeps choosing to recommit, over and over, and feels restless and unfulfilled without some sense of purpose driving him. And he hates feeling undermined.

Sometime during the campaign Frost and Gricko became a couple and just never mentioned it to anybody. They’re literally just waiting until someone notices, but so far no dice. Frost wants to see how long they can play this out, but he knows that Gricko physically can’t keep a secret for more than 2 minutes. So far Gricko has managed to keep his mouth shut about the prank, but he can’t help but giggling when Frost calls him his best “friend”.
This is a true fact.
Tbh that is the kind of thing id expect from them. Gricko bc its funny as fuck and Frost partly because its funny but mostly because he doesn't see a need to mention it. Hilarity ensues

Akanemnomnom, I was just wondering about something:
Is TwinRunes the only instances of the specific event where Frisk gets into Deltarune and both Kris and Frisk are free from Player's control, or is it rather common occurance (as common as in the multiverse can get; so basically extremely rare but at the same time there's a lot universes with this premise)?
By only instances, I mean alike with Gravity Falls situation, where despite the fact that multiverse is infinite and there's a lot of possible outcomes (for example, two almost identical universes, however the word parmesan doesn't exist in one of them), there's only one universe where Dipper and Mabel managed to save their world from Bill Schiffer because they need to have VERY specific events to manage to defeat the flying reality-shifting dorito demon?
(Or so I heard, I never really watched Gravity Falls lol).
And, keen to them, Frisk and Kris need to have VERY specific events to make TwinRunes' situation possible?
Or maybe it's actually a loophole, an issue with the very code of both games which makes it possible for them to collide, and keen to the Weird Route, players can softlock themselves out of these games with the specific decisions, which will eventually lead to another TwinRunes, but this time they don't have a word parmesan?
I do realize that the very existence of The Other Script means there IS alternative version of the event "Kris and Frisk are free from Player's control", however I specify TwinRunes for a reason. The Other Script is alternative universe of TwinRunes as much as Deltarune is alternative universe of Undertale. It is probable, however one very important detail is changes, which makes these universes almost undistinguishable from each other (Human-Monster war never happened/Monsters are sealed underground in result of Human-Monster war; Frisk gets into Deltarune world/Kris gets into Undertale world).
I don't ask it out of the desire to make an au of TwinRunes, as the one might thought; but rather out of sheer curiosity. Though, it is a bit of a silly question, you can totally ignore this ask entirely if you want, I won't mind.
Thank you for your time in any case!
Y'see... you wrote such a long question that I kinda have to answer it but feel bad for keeping it so short.
But truth of the matter is, there are some things I simply can't answer because it'll be brought up later.
That's why the "no spoilers" rule exists.
Normally, I don't answer these questions. So, the rule of thumb is, if I don't answer your question, then it's either spoilers, or your question made me uncomfortable/annoyed me

It’s kind of lovely to me to have this in an episode of Protocol. It was the Archives’ fandom that introduced me to the “5-4-3-2-1” grounding technique for panic attacks, and it's just really nice to see it carried over into the show itself as well <3

ARC 3 opens… with Rayllum having, like, a five-year-old child…?
I'm down for whatever <3
It WOULD be amazing to get to see lil baby rayllums and even getting to KNOW them?! <3 I like the angst of...oh we can't have a family yet bc tick tock, too! Like, said rayllum looking at kiddos like...we want a family :( :( :(
I also think it'd be super cool if they did some more Viren paralleling with Callum having a young family.......and of course our boy makes some better choices, breaking cycles and all :3
