not to flex, but
I got the Top 4.47% on this English Vocabulary test
#although i didn't like. actually know all of the ones that i think i got right#i was able to process of elimination a handful#either because i knew what all the other options meant and they didn't seem to match the queried word#or because i could figure out the part of speech they were and they didn't match the one in question#genuinely i think having mixed parts of speech in the options was kind of a failing of this quiz#because more than once i went#''well i don't know what this word means but i can tell it's a verb and only one of these options is a verb so that must be the synonym''#idk maybe that's just a me thing though

Emergency request!!
can u please do tuskki with his extraverted and bubbly gf having a tough time then becoming noticeably quite and starts to push people away? Like its hard for her to open up and talk about it yk
Btw I absolutely loveeeee ur writing!! have a great daay/night ^^
thank u for this request i needed to refresh my mind 🙏
— timeskip!tsukishima

at first he thought that maybe he wasn't being as attentive as he used to be.
the walk to campus was quiet. it lacked your usual quips and awes at the random things you both saw on the sidewalks and on the stores. you only walked beside him, hand in hand, looking down at the ridges of the ground.
he hadn't noticed because he was too busy refreshing his mind for his upcoming quiz.
tsukishima starts to notice when you'd both eaten lunch at a store nearby and you weren't as happy as you were when you ate spam musubi. you chewed quietly, answered his questions with small hums. it concerned him a little, but he was the person to enjoy the silence when it was given to him.
then it worried him when you went home before he did, and he hadn't gotten a single kiss from you the second he steps inside. you acknowledge his "i'm home" with a "hello" from your shared bedroom.
so now there he is, leaning against the doorframe of the room, hands crossed, socked feet placed on the cold wooden floor. you lay on the bed and face the wall, hunched back facing him.
tsukishima frowns.
"oi," he calls, beginning his journey towards you.
you feel the bed dip at his weight being planted on the mattress, his hand coming up to shake you lightly on your shoulder. you groan, curling further towards the wall.
"(y/n)," he says, stern but also soft. his usual tone. "what's wrong?"
"nothing," your nose was stuffy, a sniffle making his eyebrows raise. "i'm just sleepy."
"at four pm?" tsukishima queries in disbelief. at this time, you were usually bubbly— hyper, planning the places you were going to spend the remaining day in, or encouraging him to join you fill your time. and as much as he playfully detests the thought of doing something rather than laying down, now he kind of wants to do the same thing. "babe, don't lie to me."
you say nothing.
he sighs, kicking his feet off the ground and laying down beside you, scooting closer to pull you into his chest when his arms wiggle beneath your body and the other scooching underneath your arm to hug you. tsukishima cranes his neck and nuzzles his nose at the back of your neck, inhaling.
"baby," he straightens his neck, placing his chin on top of your head, his hand under your arm rubbing your belly. "you don't have to lie to me."
your breath unevens, he feels it at the way your stomach rises.
"face me?"
his plea was enough to make you turn around in his grasp and face him, tired eyes blinking the dread that hangs on your eyelashes.
an uncanny sight— the usual joy in the glimmer of your eyes dullefied by the melancholic aura you release. at this, tsukishima's tone of nuisance has decided to drop and replace it with a dulcet voice that he had only reserved for you.
"what's wrong, hm?" his hand pushes your hair behind your ear, cupping your face gently.
"'m tired."
"i know that. you told me that earlier."
"in general, kei," you whine softly. "the projects keep stacking up over one another and i've got groups to lead and i've got proposals to meet and presentations to do and–"
you stop, the dam beginning to break at your waterline. tsukishima plants his lips in the middle of your eyebrows.
"go on, it's okay."
you sigh deeply, nuzzling your face on his neck. "and it pressures me so much that i don't know what to do."
tsukishima pulls you closer. you hear his heartbeat, soft– steady and calm, often fast at certain times, but it was always so calm around you. his scent wraps you in comfort, your hands wandering beneath his shirt to seek warmth in his skin.
"it's okay to not know what to do," he says softly. "you don't have to pressure yourself to know what to do immediately. take your time, don't push yourself to the extent of breaking."
"but you know what to do immediately."
"i don't," he traces figures at your back, shapes, you think. "i observe before i think. whether i do it within seconds or in minutes. it depends on the situation, really. but you've got to go easy on yourself,"
tsukishima pulls your face away from his chest. he leans closer, the tip of his nose rubbing yours, his eyes resting on yours.
"and i'm here. you don't have to do this alone," he kisses your nose. "don't be an idiot and ask me for help."
you laugh lightly, reaching up to place your lips on his.
they'd always been soft and sweet, a bright contrast to his usual demeanor. tsukishima hums and pulls you closer, his mouth opening the slightest to kiss you deeper and breathe your air. it was comfort, safe, home.
and he kisses you like he means it, in a way that he wants to protect you. in a way that shows you that he's here and he's not leaving you. his mouth moves against yours languidly, the soft clicks of your dampened lips and your eyelashes tickling his cheeks.
tsukishima breaks away only to leave another quick peck on your lips. he whispers, "i'm here, and i'm not going anywhere."
you believe him wholeheartedly.

i know most of your asks are about sandman and good omens, so im gonna go against that trend and instead ask about a niche short story of yours from 1985. its understandable if you dont remember but i thought i'd give it a shot anyway
so in "when is a door" from secret origins, you mention the characters quiz and probe as part of the riddlers backstory. the dc wiki states that these are the same characters as echo and query (created by chuck dixon) and query and quiz (created for a cartoon i think?? or by doug moench. i dont remember). in your opinion, do you think these are all the same characters or are query and echo separate from quiz and probe? this is a long standing discussion between riddler enjoyers and im curious to hear you weigh in
I'm pretty sure it was Query and Probe in Secret Origins. I'm pretty sure that was their first appearance anywhere, and they have transmuted since. I forget whether they were originally my idea or Matt Wagner's (ditto the male assistants all called Mark).

hello, i have a question for you: on your youtube it says that "I am not your friend nor will I ever be your friend: you DONT know me and I DONT know you."
so can we still talk to you ?because i've always been told that you make friends with people by talking to them but if you cannot be anyone's friends then we cannot talk to you??? but then you have asks open so is it fine for me to ask this to begin with? what are the rules of talking to you, because some other people also sent asks, so the asks can only be about life series and hermitcraft?
sorry if the queries are annoying i need hard clarification for everything (i'm also neurodivergent)
Sensitive topic below, mentions of grooming.
Phew.. alrighty.. buckle in! (Remember, I am a minor) Yes, you may speak to me, just not about personal things. Some examples from the past: people asking in comments on how my day went; what grade I got on a quiz, and venting to me on streams. It’s there to discourage these extremely uncomfortable parasocial relationships.
From a viewers perspective, I shouldn’t be anything more than an artist that loves pistachio ice cream. I shouldn’t be viewed as a friend. You truly don’t know who I am, what I’ve done or been through; and the same for vice versa.
It’s also for safety; if someone is impersonating me and messaging viewers: it’s not me(unless of course you are also an artist and we’re doing a collab). I’ve just been very aware of the threat of grooming. Although I’ve been silent about it, I have been groomed.
It’s why I made my PerryRata account. To disassociate myself from the people who knew my other accounts. Legally, we are trying to get the monster behind bars, but because the police want an easy case: they really haven’t done shit.
So, the closer I get to random people on the internet: the more worried I get about the threat. From both sides: people impersonating me and grooming impressionable folk; and people getting close to me and then taking advantage of me.
I’d just rather have it be about my art, others art, Life Series, and Hermitcraft.
All of this is meant in an informative way, I don’t blame you for asking! ❤️
I’m still going to play games with chat, interact with peeps etc.. just remember, just because you’ve played Roblox with me, doesn’t mean you know me.

Hiya Lisa my love!! I think this may be the first request I’m sending you (omg!?) But I am so excited to do so, and of course for our best boy Jack Wilder <3
Okay this one’s a little silly but I’m thinking Jack Wilder x reader where the reader is part of the Horsemen, but Jack and her don’t exactly get along all too well (enemies/reluctant allies to lovers). I’m thinking they’re sent off together to check out and map a location for the Horsemen’s next big act (maybe a fancy gala! That’d be so fun!), but the whole time they’re just bickering and shooting jabs at each other and the other guys are on comms and are just So Tired™ of their bullshit 😭
amber i love you for this
masterlist
You don’t think you’ve ever seen the magical enigma known professionally as J. Daniel Atlas and familiarly as a pain in all of your asses as stressed as he is right before the start of a new job. The Horsemen are world renowned for their intricate performances and flawless setups, which only serves to increase the pressure on all of you to keep one-upping yourselves every time you appear in the spotlight. Danny has taken it upon himself to make sure that all of you stay perfect, and that responsibility is manifesting itself in the form of a lecture right now.
He’s standing in front of you, eyes wild with the fire of what could be creative genius or perhaps too much coffee, and rattling off a series of questions to make sure you know what you’re doing.
“Where are you going?” He asks first.
You meet his gaze steadily. “The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Specifically the busiest areas during the Met Gala.”
“How are you entering?” Danny queries.
“Two ways. First, as a tourist, to spot the security cameras. Then, I’ll go again at night, to lay some cameras of our own and run some more thorough investigations.”
Danny takes a step closer. His hands are steepled together, making him the perfect picture of a plotting supervillain from one of those bad action movies Merritt keeps playing. “What, specifically, are you looking for?”
You want to roll your eyes, but you learned a long time ago that showing any sort of emotion except for intensity in front of Daniel Atlas during his mad planning sessions is only asking for trouble. So, you keep your cool, or you try to, at least. “The normal stuff. Alcoves and closets where we can hide. Areas with low security presence. Entrances and exits. Janitors. Extra uniforms. That sort of thing.”
Daniel nods once, the only sign that you’re not outright bombing his little pop quiz. “And who is going with you on this reconnaissance mission?”
This time, you can’t disguise your sigh of disgust. “I’m taking a stubborn child.”
Danny gives you a cool stare. “Try again.”
You give him a look, but Daniel is prone to winning staring contests, especially when he’s in this sort of mood, so you cut your losses and give in. “Fine. I’m taking Jack.”
To your side, someone starts clapping. “Perfect response!”
You and Daniel both turn in unison to see your recon partner applauding your sarcastic answer from his chair a few paces away. His feet are kicked up on the table in front of him, and although he had been aimlessly scrolling through his phone this entire time, he’s put the device down temporarily so he can remind you just how strong a bond the two of you share. Which is to say, in no uncertain terms, none at all.
Daniel glances back at you. “You’re not going to let the two of you working together be a problem, will you?”
You fold your arms across his chest, affronted. “I won’t. You might want to double-check with my so-called partner, though. Who, by the way, is free to answer any of these questions on his own. I don’t see why I’m the one who has to know everything while he gets off easy. Aren’t we sharing this responsibility? And by extension, this interrogation?”
Jack just flashes you a thousand-watt smile. “You seemed to have it covered, sweetheart. Besides, I just like hearing the sound of your lovely voice.”
You flip him off. He blows you a kiss, then does the same. Daniel looks ready to burst a blood vessel. “Focus, you two. I want no slip ups. We’re stealing the show of the Met Gala. If we make a mistake, I think Anna Wintour will personally kill us.”
“She’s going to do that anyway,” Jack muses, “We’re interrupting her little fashion show. God forbid someone focuses on us instead of all the celebrities who aren’t even dressing to theme. If I had that money, I could do way better, is all I’m saying.”
You shoot him a perplexed look. “Since when have you paid attention to the Met Gala outfits? Last time I tried talking about it, you told me that was all absurdist nonsense.”
“Maybe I was just talking about you,” Jack answers vaguely. “I’m allowed to, like, develop interests.”
You toss him a glare, then turn back to Daniel, who for some reason looks somewhat entertained. “Can we go back to the plan, please?”
Danny straightens up. “Yes, I’d like that. I’ve briefed both of you on the entrances and exits I need you to scout out–”
“Too many times,” Jack cuts in. He’s not wrong. Danny’s been over this every hour on the hour since you got the call to stage your own show at one of the most famous fashion opportunities of the year.
Daniel, however, seems to think that he hasn’t mentioned the details enough. Now Jack is on the receiving end of not just your glare but Daniel’s as well. “As I was saying,” Danny continues smoothly, “You’ll get in and get out. Try not to move too quickly, you don’t want to attract attention, but don’t linger too long, either.”
“We’ll be fine,” you assure him. “Not our first rodeo.”
Danny nods hesitantly. “I know. Just your first rodeo together in a while.”
That’s no big secret. You and Jack may both be Horsemen, but that certainly doesn’t mean you have to like each other. In fact, you couldn’t be farther from it. You’re not enemies, so to speak, an enemy is the FBI or the CIA, but referring to whatever exists between you as friendship is stretching the truth. You’re more like uncertain, unhappy allies. You’ll work together so long as you get paid and stay in the spotlight while you’re at it, but you’re not likely to grab drinks after a show together.
However, the Horsemen come first above any personal squabble. Always. That’s the one thing you and Jack can agree on. What you’re working on is bigger than the two of you, it’s bigger than all of you. To most of the world, you are magic. No rift between teammates is worth damaging that ideal.
That’s why Jack straightens up at last, and dons an expression verging on solemnity. “We’ll do our part, Danny. No need to worry.”
“There had better not be,” Daniel comments, but he backs off after that, and leaves to track down Merritt to deliver a similar speech.
Now alone, Jack’s familiar cavalier attitude comes back in a flash. “Can’t wait for our little date tomorrow, L/N,” he tells you.
You roll your eyes. “It’s going to be so much fun.”
The next morning, you and Jack wait your turn in the entrance queue at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. You’re both disguised with baseball caps pulled low over your heads, then paired with sunglasses, and you each have fake IDs in your pockets just in case. It’s surprisingly easy to get around undetected; although the Horsemen are famous the world over, no one expects to see them outside of one of your performances. It makes no sense to spot one of you in a coffee shop or in line ahead of you, so their minds just glance over you as if you were never there at all.
It’s certainly convenient. You could always go to an outside source for intel, but if there’s one lesson you’ve learned throughout your time, it’s to never trust anyone outside of your immediate circle. There are always people who’ll sell off your secrets, or debunkers frothing at the mouth to show how you do what you do.
No, it’s best to keep everything under wraps, even if it makes disguises necessary. There’s a brief moment of panic in which the security guard checking Jack’s bag lingers on his face a little longer than usual, but he’s waved through soon enough and then you’re able to wander further into the museum.
A voice crackles over your earpiece. “What was that about?” Danny, paranoid as always.
Jack shrugs, directing his voice towards you so no one will suspect he’s talking to anyone else. “Probably just a newbie convinced they’ll catch a would-be robber by checking my hand sanitizer close enough. They didn’t plant any bugs, we’re good. Most likely, she was just captivated by my exceedingly good looks and got distracted.”
You scoff. “Or maybe she was just fascinated by your hideousness and wanted a better look.”
Jack clutches a hand to his heart, feigning agony. “My hideousness?” Y/N, I’m hurt.”
“Good,” you smile saccharinely at him.
Daniel sighs in a gust of static over your earpiece. “Focus, you two. Please.”
“Aye aye, Captain,” Jack says. “We’ll get to work.”
You and Jack slip through the exhibits, pretending to examine paintings in sculptures when, in reality, you’re looking harder at the security features in each room. The Horsemen already have a rough plan in mind for how you’re going to enter and exit, but the security presence could change which specific entrance you use.
When you loiter a little too long near one oil painting of two nobles dancing at a lavish ball, Jack doubles back to your side. “Everything alright? We haven’t been noticed yet, have we?”
You shake your head, snapping yourself back to reality. “No, we’re fine. Just looking. I love this year’s theme for the gala. If I had an actual invitation, I would have worn something like the dress in this painting. I would want to, at least. Of course, that would only happen if we weren’t breaking in, but. Yeah. That’s what I would do.”
You realize you’re rambling and try to cut yourself off, but you’ve already been going on for a while. You wait for Jack to tease you, but instead, the corner of his lips tugs up in a soft half-smile. “It would look good,” he admits, “You would. Maybe we should petition Danny to let us dress up. We could recreate the painting.”
He swoops closer, placing one hand on your waist and taking yours with the other, spinning you into a waltz just like in the painting. Jack pulls you close in an exaggerated dip just like in the painting, one that takes you a little too near the painting. One of the security guards surges across the room to tell you two to move away again. Jack lets you up, then exaggeratedly apologizing, slapping the guy on the back as a gesture of camaraderie. As the guard walks away, you can see the tracer he’s planted, one that will give you two much-needed information on the paths each guard takes on their shift.
“Nice one,” you breathe.
“Yeah,” Jack says, but he’s still looking at you, as if mentally cataloging each and every place his hands had been just moments before. “I am nice.”
You swat him on the shoulder, and he winks. Rather than give that an answer, you head to the next exhibit. The two of you tag the next few guards you come across, noting janitor’s closets and fire exits while you’re at it.
It’s easy to settle into a rhythm. You go from room to room, you snipe at each other, you get the job done. Jack passes a sculpture of a nude woman and suggests that be the costume you wear to the Gala, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively; you tell him that you’ll do it only when he’s got biceps the size of the Greek hero statue next to it.
Eventually, you only have one tag left. This one, though, will be the most difficult. The chief security guard has access to the central security station of the museum; by bugging him, you can get the passcode to the main room, which would be a significant help. The only problem is that you’ll have to get close enough to talk to the guy, and he looks far more suspicious of everyone around him than any of the other guards.
You volunteer to do it, and weave your way over to the guard in charge. It takes a heady dose of flirting, but you’re able to get the job done eventually. You do have to shell out a fake phone number, but he’ll only find out the number isn’t yours later that night. No harm, no foul.
Or, not according to you, at least. When you walk back over to Jack, though, your partner in crime has his arms folded tight across his chest, and he looks more annoyed than you’ve seen him all day. At last, something has managed to pierce his armor of sarcastic, joking indifference, but you’re not sure what.
“He seems nice,” Jack says, voice unnaturally calm, “Maybe you do want to take him out on a date after this, like you said.”
You laugh. “We both know that was an act, Wilder. No need to get jealous.”
“I’m not jealous,” he insists, “I have nothing to be jealous of.”
“Nothing?” You ask, one brow raised. “So you wouldn’t mind if I went back and gave him my real number?”
Jack slings an arm around your shoulder in a pretense of affection, but it feels more like he’s pinning you to him, making sure you can’t go back and do as threatened. “That would be ridiculous. It would ruin our whole act.”
You grin. “What act?”
“That we’re here on a date of our own, obviously,” Jack says.
“We haven’t done anything of the sort the whole time we were here,” you point out. “It makes more sense for him to think we’re just friends.”
“Then we’ll have to fix that, won’t we?” Jack suggests, and although you do notice the glint in his eyes when he says it, you’re still not expecting him to lean forward and kiss you. The kiss is– startling, yes, but not bad, not at all, and when he finally breaks away and looks triumphantly over at the guard who’d been flirting with you, you get the feeling that Jack thought so too.
“I think we should do this all the time,” Jack whispers to you. “Maybe we should ask Danny to change our assignments around.”
“Actually,” a voice crackles over your earpieces, “I’d rather neither of you ever spoke to me again. If I have to think about you two making out one more time, I’ll pour bleach directly into my brain.”
You slap a hand over your mouth to stop from laughing. “Oh, no. Daniel, how long have our comms been on?”
“The whole time,” your showman says, “I hated all of it, thank you for asking.”
Jack snorts. “And you didn’t remind us to turn off our mics?”
“Merritt wanted to see if you’d actually commit enough to do it,” Danny says, sounding supremely unhappy. “Now we’re both traumatized. Just get your asses back here and never bring this up again.”
This time, you can’t hide your laugh. “Alright, we will. Try to stay away from the bleach in the meantime.”
“I make no promises,” Danny grumbles, sending you and Jack into a wave of laughter again.
Jack reaches up to switch off his own earpiece, then does the same for you, gently brushing the side of your face with his hand while he’s at it. “Well,” he says slowly, “We might as well make the most of our time right now, hadn’t we? I’d hate for our ticket money to go to waste.”
You grin. “Quit the theatrics and kiss me.”
Jack Wilder doesn’t usually do as told. This time, though, he makes an exception.

This will be a reading list catered to newer readers wanting to start reading The Riddler. I have tried to simplify the timelines as much as possible to make it less daunting to follow and hopefully more understandable. (Author notes will be pink)
The Riddler is a Batman villain first appearing in Detective Comics #140 (1948) and considered one of Batman's most intelligent foes with an ego that is equally troublesome. His real name is Edward Nigma/Nygma, discovering his love of puzzles through a puzzle contest as a child. Justice #2 (2005) tells us his compulsive nature lies in childhood abuse at the hands of his father.
Detective Comics #566 (1968)
•This is a recap of who Batman's rogues are, so a good starting point for introductions to Batman villains
Secret Origins Special #1 (1989)
•This is a one shot which takes place at the end of the Riddler's criminal career, reflecting on his past.
Detective comics annual #8 questions multiply the mystery (1995)
•This is a better retelling of the Riddler's first comic book appearance (detective comics #140) with the added presence of Q&E. This is a one shot, recounted from a more mid point in the riddler's life.
Detective Comics #140 (1948)
•The riddler's first comic book appearance, taking place in the present of his criminal career. It reflects on his childhood and criminal career so far, Introducing him as a new criminal in Gotham city.
Detective Comics #142 (1948)
•This is the riddler’s second appearance directly leading on from his first appearance. To Robin and Batman's surprise their last encounter isn't the last of the riddler, now targeting a puzzle contest.
Batman #171 (1965)
•Continuation of #142. Riddler's return to crime following his release from prison, or well his confusing rehabilitation.
Batman #179 (1966)
•Leading on from 171. The Riddler has escaped Arkham. Realising the lack of his criminal success is none other than...himself. Therefore, trying to fight his compulsions to riddle.
Batman #279 (1976)
•The Riddler has escaped Arkham, vowing to overload batman's brain with riddles this time.
•Reference to Detective Comics #362-#377(1968) but Batman #279 is not a plot continuation. Extra but not necessary reading (#362, #364, #373, #377)
Brave and the bold #183 (1982)
•Following another Escape from Arkham a mystery novelist is kidnapped and it's up to the Riddler and Batman to solve, though they have different priorities.
•similar stories are Detective Comics #822 (2006) and Confidential #26, #27, #28 (2009)
Batman: Riddler-The Riddler Factor #119 (1995)
•Riddler hosts an under ground game show, helped by his henchmen women Quiz and Query, where no celebrities secret's are safe. (Slight fetish content within this works)
Gotham Adventures #11 (1999)
•The Riddler is out of Arkham and staying at the newest Egyptian hotel but will he actually stay away from crime this time?
Year of the villain (2019)
•Lex Luther has presented gifts and opportunities to a range of super villains however the riddler is upset with his neglect (as is king tut).
This is where things start to get a little confusing within Riddler comics. I am trying to simplify this as much as possible to make it understandable, so there may be certain comics I have neglected for the purposes of making this friendly for people getting into comics. The same goes for when we reach New 52.
Batman:hush #608-619 (2002)
•The main take away from this is that the riddler has cancer (a brain tumour) and he's now fully aware of who Batman is.
•I wouldn't perhaps recommend hush and Batman #693 for someone just getting into comics as it is confusing. however, relevant to bring up.
Detective Comics #822 (2006)
•The Riddler has previously been in a coma (Infinite Crisis #7) and has now woken up with memory issues and a lack of his usual riddling compulsion. This is when the Riddler becomes a Private Investigator, trying to solve a murder along side Batman.
Batman #693 (2009)
•This kind of resets this odd era when the riddler gets caught in an explosion and becomes a criminal again (with no memory who Batman is).
•I would recommend reading Detective Comics #822 but it's important to mention all three for the context, and is relevant to other issue during this time.
Detective Comics #837 (2007)
•Related to #822. Bruce Wayne has hired the Riddler as a private detective, following the missing case of a lab assistant at Wayne enterprise.
Batman: Battle For The Cowl: The Underground (2009)
• sets the ground work for Gotham city sirens and more of Edward as a detective
Gotham city sirens #1, #9 and #10 (2009)
•We see more of riddler as a PI, as well as his relationship with the Gotham city sirens
•Extra reading/ context to this series; catwoman vol3 #52 (2006) catwoman kills black mask
•Battle of the cowl (2009) Batman has 'died'(and nightwing is taking over) after the events of final crisis and Batman:RIP (these are both 2008, Morris Grant runs). However, black mask appears again now alive.
The "New 52" is a reset in the DC timeline. During this time, characters have been refreshed and remodeled to fit into new stories and plots. This happened in 2011, and ended in 2015 to give way to the "DC rebirth", which restored DC to a prior point.
Zero year vol 4, vol 5 (2014)
•Everything has been completel refreshed. The Riddler is now becoming the Riddler, previously working at Wayne enterprise. However when threatened by Bruce Wayne he sends the red hood gang after which prompts him to leave his position.
BATMAN #23.2 (2013)
•Upon leaving Arkham the riddler has plans to break into Wayne enterprise. He makes his way through the levels with ease returning to his old office (zero year) to reflect on Batman, people are saying the bat is dead but he doesn't believe it.
Batman: eternal #39, #40 (2014)
•Gotham city has been decimated leading the way for a rise in gang wars that have broken out across Gotham city.
•I personally think this would have been a lot stronger of a story if it was shorter. It does pick up a little but there's a lot of filler.
Batgirls #11, #12 (2023)
•There is a serial killer loose, in the Batgirls neighbourhood and The riddler knows the real identity of the killer. However, instead of revealing the killer he chooses to plant his own riddles at the crime scenes.
•extra reading; Detective Comics Vol 1 #705, 706, 707(1996) and Robin Vol 2 #93, 94 (2001)

WOAH! Character Lore?? Crazy,,, Anyways! This post is just to show the characters you can ask questions for (if you'd like to) There roles in the "story" and basic info! :} First up, the man himself,

Astor James Crawley {They/He}, 5"7, 35 Ex Agent for Urbanshade -Astor was victim to an accident while exploring an abandoned pharmaceutical factory. -The chemically altered algae in the water sunk into his body, both killing him but also rendering him "immortal" (The pondscum attatched to his brain stem produces electrical currents, preventing his body from shutting down) -Originally, (in this time line) Astor was sent down to the Blacksite by his boss "The Suit" in order to head a project. This 'project' was seemingly a ruse to get Astor to agree to go down somewhere with heavier containment procedures. -Astor has since severed ties with his boss and is now free roaming, but continues interviewing people, as he's found he enjoys hearing people's stories :]
Mischa Jakub Lovett {He/Him}, 5"5, 33 Z-397 (former assassin for hire) -Mischa was one of Urbanshade's many biological experiments. He was intended to be made into an "Ideal spy/assassin" but issues with his skin and temper made him 'defunct'. -Mischa- while not directly over seen by Astor -knew him well way back when. To a point they had a small relationship behind closed doors that ended abruptly when Astor was infected. Mischa did not take being left to dry with no notice well. -Mischa currently roams The Blacksite loner style, doing his own thing mostly. He's encountered Astor once or twice, and has tried to kill him each time.

Terrence Howe "The Suit" {He/Him}, 5"9, 43 Head of Intelligence, Maryland branch -The Suit has been employed and loyal to Urbanshade for a long while! He seems entirely devoted to their work and makes a great effort to keep his work life separate from his personal. To such a degree, most his employees do not know his name. -The Suit met Astor when Astor's parents got him a job as an intern in the Research department. Loathing a nepo baby, Suit harped on him immediately. He pulled strings, gave Astor a ton of tough work, till he carted him off to the Blacksite- only acknowledging the potential wrath from his superiors (Astor's parents) afterwards. -The Suit's goals with Astor's mission are a little obscure to say the least,,, but he's absoloutley playing 4D chess with this corpse man.
Shea Quest Dr.Query {They/It/Xe}, 5"11, ??? Mechanic for Urbanshade (presumed deceased) -Query is a little all over the place but there's a few things concrete about them. They feel some innate need to 'quiz' expendables on random trivia, they have an interest in Urbanshade's biological experimentation, and it seems to have an interest with powerful/significant energy sources
