it's important to note that while some are in the same category, their motivations are different:

•pepe is being annoying on purpose but bean bunny is just a lil shithead

•piggy thinks sweetums is annoying, stat+wal just want more space in the car and sweetums is the biggest, and also the bit of sweetums always getting left behind on road trips was too perfect for this

•rizzo has the good snacks but refuses to share. swedish chef has... food? and is very enthusiastically offering it to his friends but nobody has taken him up on it

•electric mayhem only plays bangers, don't get me wrong, but in my head sgt pepper was playing "Fugue for Frog" (muppet show S1 last episode i think) on repeat to annoy kermit and the rest of the band was vibing until kermit flipped

i am very very normal about martyn making himself ren's sidekick in everything. never has there been a point (that i know of, i am not an infallible human and havent watched everything ever) that theyve been together when martyn has named himself higher than ren. he might be partially the mastermind behind a lot of things, but he still places himself under ren. a hand, a lieutenant, an employee. a close one, a confidant and friend, and though hes brash and stubborn and strong-willed and does what he wants, he is always content to let ren lead. to follow him.

Hey wanted to ask, Pads has sharp shark teeth in all the art I've seen him in, was he born with them or did he have them modified to look like that? What about his siblings?

Baji here to answer this! In the world of Ratterrock, all of the rats have the straight row of sharp teeth and lack the large front teeth that mice have. This was a stylistic choice so the rats and mice would be discernable from each other. It also adds to the fear and prejudice mice have towards rats. Actually, this is a perfect ask to include the little chart I made to show the differences between them:

Suz and I are very into biology and animals, so we are aware these things aren't really accurate to real life. The choices we make are mainly to push narrative themes rather than trying to be perfectly parallel to reality.

some Chaps that my brain conjured up during a stress dream i had a few days ago. it did severe psychological damage to me but at least i get new characters so that's cool

now, as for the dream itself, it's a bit of a long one so i'll give a quick rundown:

so basically there are two classes: the rats (the well-off) and the mice (the poor, who are often seen as servants to the rats). Now, there's a war going on against the rats and the mice from a different land altogether, which only worsens the prejudice against the local mice.

Now, as for the two main characters, Emma Bloom is a wealthy rat who's servant, Sally Fields (who i had no idea was the name of an actress until some people told me, which i find kinda funny), he greatly respected and found to be a close friend of his, with the feeling being very much mutual.

i miiiight expound on them via some smaller comics? i dunno, we'll see. i have a lot of metaphorical birds to feed over on my end and i dont know how many more projects i can have before the ever-present beat of their hearts beneath the floorboards i hid them under drives me batty.
