I've spent the better part of the afternoon emailing local and and large retailers about their commitment to transitioning away from thermal receipts. I am going to keep bothering as many as I can, as often as I dare, until more and more people decide to step up and make changes. Since I made my big post about it back in March a doctor on TikTok has gone viral about it, and I'm glad that at more people are becoming aware of the issue.

I've noticed more cashiers are now asking if I want a receipt before printing one out, and recently one teller at the bank didn't ask, but folded the receipt in half with the printed part on the inside. People are learning!!

Remember, there are phenol-free options out there! Keep talking about it, keep applying the pressure on corporations and your state and local representatives!

A life coach is like a personal trainer for the gym!

Not everyone needs one - they've found their way of doing things and are confident in themselves and their routine - but others do.

Some need to be shown how to use the equipment, some need a reason to turn up and others want help tracking their goals and hitting milestones.

A life coach can teach you about natural human behaviours (like procrastination) and why you are doing them (your environment or mindset)

They can give you a reason to turn up for yourself and continuously work on your self growth and self acceptance.

They can set you up with a plan to achieve the goals you want and they'll celebrate your milestones with you.

Having a life coach doesn't mean you don't know how to live properly (just like having a PT doesn't mean you could never exercise and hit your goals on your own)

These people are a support tool who WANT to help you and see you thrive

If you don't need them in this period of your life then don't use them.

When you do need them USE them!

For one session, two, three...

If you need a years worth of life coaching that's ok!

We don't judge people for having a personal trainer for that long.

We say they're committed.

That they want better and that they are focusing on their health.

So do what works for you.
