Silly headcanons of mine

Everyone else is sharing silly hcs and I wanted to join 🥺👉🏻👈🏻

- Donnie made meth once by accident

- All three brothers lost Mikey more than once in the sewers when they were kids

- Raph actually had a human friend he snuck out to meet once in a while

- Leo straight up falls asleep during meditation many times. The only reason the others doesn't know is because he doesn't snore sitting up

- Mikey trains when he can't sleep when everyone else is asleep

- He can actually bench more than Raph

- Raph doesn't know that

- Donnie has been caught eating coffee grounds

- Despite what everyone else thinks, Donnie actually has the healthiest sleep schedule in my hc. Why? Because he knows he needs sleep for his brain to function properly.

- LEO is the insomniac. *slaps Leo's bald head* this bad boy can fit so much trauma and anxiety boy can rarely relax enough to sleep

- April got him sleeping pills

- ...they don't work.

- He doesn't have the heart to tell her

- Raph and Mikey often turtle pile and sleep together

- Mikey because he likes to have the weight of Raph on him

- Raph because it means he knows the baby is safe

- Sometimes Splinter finds them all piled together in a snoring heap

I have just had this idea for Bayverse Raph and female reader.

I want to see a chapter on how the reader has cute awkward moment. Walking into the lair thinking all of them are out on a mission, only thing is Raph is there just in the gym.

Then I give you permission to work with this as its a writing experience.

Raphael x GN!Reader

It's the middle of the night and you expect the lair to be empty. You're bringing a fresh batch of tea to Master Splinter. You'd picked up his favorite at a small shop in Chinatown that afternoon.

You expect all the boys to be out on patrol, so you're surprised when you hear music, and see a light on in the weight room. You drop the tea on the kitchen counter, next to the kettle, and head in that direction.

He's lifting. Laying on the bench modified to accommodate their shells, and musing about how funny it is that while he used to look forward to the quiet of his nights off, now he'd much rather have an excuse to come visit you.

You only met recently, a few months ago, but he's been stopping by for a break in the middle of patrol occasionally, and occasionally was starting to evolve into frequently.

He sets his weights down and takes a break, grabbing a bottle of water and walking over to the mirror. He stretches his arm, looking down the length of his tricep in the mirror.

His workouts are half mental, half medical. Mental because it's when and where he thinks the best. In a way, it's almost like he can physically put his thoughts in order with every push of the bar. Medical because his shell is just too damn heavy.

Turtles aren't meant to walk on their hind legs, and even with their mutated forms, their spines can only take so much. Raphael may not be the tallest, but he is the biggest of his brothers, in sheer mass, by a large margin. He was made for close quarter combat, a thick hide and a dense shell ready to tank any abuse thrown at it. It was a heavy burden. Literally.

Besides all that, he just enjoys it. Leo used to call him vain. The way he would look at himself in the mirror, finding every last detail of his physique that could be improved, and busting his ass until he was satisfied. He isn't vain, at least he doesn't think he is. He just doesn't have a lot else about himself he can be proud of.

So, on his nights off, he doubles his workouts and uses that time to think through whatever is going on inside his head. Lately, it's been you.

You're new. It usually took him a while to get comfortable with new. There was always an adjustment period. But he took to you almost immediately. It's something he's not used to and... he doesn't hate it.

You're sweet. Kind. And you didn't scream upon first meeting, which initially made him question your sanity. You're sharp and sassy and can keep up with him talking shit. Brilliant and clever and ready to jump into whatever their weird lives are throwing at them. All of that, and on top of everything, you are SO hot. Fuck. It's actually unfair.

Climbing the stairs to the weight room, 50 Cent is shouting a song from the speakers that really, really doesn't help your rocketing heart rate when you stop in the doorway.

Oh wow.

In nothing but his harness, black sweats with red kanji emblazoned down the left leg, and hand wraps, he's flexing in the mirror, and your mouth has gone dry.

He's beautiful. You've thought so from the start. But Raphael is a *big dude*. You've known many *big dudes* in your life, and if there's one thing you know about *big dudes* it's that they hate being noticed, because they're always the ones you notice first.

Compliments are something that need to be worked up to. Especially in his case. There is so much trauma around his physical appearance, that one wrong move could set you back further than the beginning.

You've started with observations. Things like asking about his scarification and tattoos. If you could get him comfortable talking about his body, maybe one day you could tell him how much you appreciate it in a way that he would not only accept, but believe.

Mentioning his body at all is still a hit or miss situation, but the hits are becoming more frequent and, Gods, you love how cute and bashful this giant reptile gets talking about himself. Like he's embarrassed there might be something about himself that he likes.

But, holy fuck is he beautiful.

You can't help it. Your eyes wander a path over his form, scaling every mountain and ravine of his otherworldly vista. Raphael is a mountain made flesh and you've never gone mountain climbing, but it looks really fun.

He smirks, pleased with the results of his latest inspection, and relaxes his arm. His gaze falls on you in the doorway behind him, and he startles, turning around quickly. "Oh! Hey!"

"Oh! Hi!" you say, a blush blooming on your cheeks. Did he catch you staring? You laugh nervously, "Sorry, I didn't think anyone was here."

"Oh, no, it's cool..." he says, "my night off." Holy shit she's here. Okay, be cool, you were just missing her, and she's here now. That's a good thing. Right?

"Oh... Cool."

"Yeah."

"..."

"..." The plastic water bottle crinkles in his hands as he fidgets.

"I was just bringing some tea to your dad."

"Oh, he's asleep by now."

"I figured."

"..."

"..."

You're used to having home field advantage, but you're on his turf now, and suddenly you don't know what to do. You usually invite him in for coffee and busy yourself with something while you hang out and chat. It's always easier for you to talk to new(ish) people when you're doing something, but this time you're the guest, and your only task has already been completed.

You're here. In the lair. With him. Alone. He's not really used to "guests," let alone beautiful ones that he totally isn't crushing on, shut up.

"Okay... Well, I'm... gonna head home," you gesture vaguely over your shoulder, "Enjoy your night off!" You smile brightly, cringing *hard* on the inside. Gods, you're so fucking awkward.

Shit! No!

"Wait," he takes a step toward you, hand outstretched. That sounded desperate. Did that sound desperate? Fuck it, he's desperate. Don't leave. "You know..." Be cool... he slows down and clears his throat, "If you got nowhere to be, do you... want to watch a movie or something?" He tries really hard to keep the hopeful edge out of his voice. He fails.

A grin splits your face. Really? Really really? "Yeah! Sure!" you say, nodding, almost bouncing, "I'd love that!"

He grins back, his stomach doing somersaults, "Cool... I guess I'll grab the snacks... you pick the movie?"

"Okay!" You say, actually bouncing.

You spend the night watching movies, talking, and telling stories, without the looming deadline of him having to go back to work. Without having to rush things, you find you that you have a lot more in common than you thought. A deep love of terrible action movies being one of those things, and you make it through several. After The Transporter, you fall into what feels like a natural rhythm, missing most of the remaining movies entirely in favor of conversation.

Michaelangelo is the first to make it home, and finds the two of you asleep on the couch. Equilibrium is playing on the giant television, Raphael's arm is wrapped around you, and you are cuddled into his side under one of the many oversized hand knitted blankets scattered about the lair.

Mike snaps a photo for future leverage, and goes to take a shower.

Raphael always thought that he had a solid grasp on understanding what it meant to live in a world full of noise.

His entire life, his entire world for as long as he could remember, had always been a collection of cacophonies. 

From the constant racket of living beneath THE city that never slept or the never ending tumult that came from the reckless and wild life he lived, Raph had forever been surrounded by sound. 

If it wasn’t the city, or vigilant violence, any chance of possible silence was shattered by Raph’s brothers.

Leo’s tirelessly tirades, Donnie’s incessant info-dumping and Mikey’s constant chatter. 

Call him a grinch or whatever but it was always noise, noise, noise.

And if not his own brother’s, then Raph’s Achilles heel, his very own traitorous heart would betray him. The beat of heated drums that thrummed in his veins. Thoughts of inadequacy, self loathing and all over anger. At the world. At himself.

Such resonance that haunted his every step, his every thought, the entirety of his existence.

Raph, the little Atlas that he was, thought he could bear the weight of it all. His shoulders were certainly wide enough. He was strong enough. 

Ohhhh he made very sure that he was strong enough to could carry it all. Even convinced himself that he’d miss the weight of the hubbub if it was gone.

So yeah, he thought he can handle the noise of it all. 

Until you. 

Oh, until you. 

He didn’t know what it was. Just the comfortability of a safe companionship that grew over time? A stubborn seedling of fond affection that he never could seem to unroot in the protected garden of his heart? Or maybe the inevitable weakness of a spring season hinting just around the corner? 

Whatever it was, lately whenever you were near, the world went silent and you…

Well, you just…you were loud. 

Not necessarily in exact volume, though you did tend to get a bit more passionate in those moments of innocent and genuine excitement.

Those small moments that Raph treasured deep in the recesses of his heart that he would pull out like a picture to glance at on a rainy day. 

No, you were loud in the way that everything about you just started to scream for his attention. 

It wasn’t unbearable per sé, but it was heavy with a sudden weight that for the first time, Raph didn’t know how to hold. How to handle.

Your smile was a flash bang that had him reeling every time you shot it in his direction. Completely blinded by the fact something as soft and delicate could ever be graced upon such a creature as himself. 

It made his face hurt in his attempts to strangle back the ferocity of desire to smile, really smile the way he wanted to, right back at you.  With you, his heart cried out.

Your sweet scent was a siren song in a key that beckoned to him that caused his soul to ache for the mere whisper of hope, the smallest chance to have the privilege to harmonize with you. 

Your presence, just a mere brush or touch of your hand caused the constant state of drumming that was his heart to increase tempo like intense war drums. To the point he could feel it in his pounding in his finger tips as he had to physically restrain himself from unconsciously reaching out to you. 

If he ever go the chance to touch you, to hold you the way he wanted to, Raph wondered if he’d finally find the peace and quiet that he so desperately craved. 

Would all the noise go away? Or with your body in his hands, your heartbeat dancing in tandem with his, would all the volume of the world, in his head, in his heart, finally make sense?

Would all the sound come together and get lost in the symphony of you?

So that’s why he finds himself he’s sitting alone in his brooding corner. His elbows on his knees and his face in his hands, his breath heavy and labored with the weight of trying to hold the weight of…well…everything back.

Your visage branded to the back of his eyelids and your voice echoing in his memory like an unfair vision of the night. 

It made Raph feel like slamming his hands over his head and fully retreating into his shell, hoping to finding one dark corner not haunted by you, where he could get the stupid staccato of his heart back into place.

Because he couldn’t look away; he couldn’t look away. He couldn’t stop listening. 

And the worst part of it all, was Raphael was scared of the fact that he didn’t know if he could, or even wanted to. 

Yeah, Raph thought he could handle the noise.

But he very may well just perish at the thought of being able to one day have the privilege of pulling a sound from you.

Bayverse Thoughts sfw

You answer your phone to the sound of Leo’s hushed, pained voice coming over the receiver.

“I’m coming over.”

“Ah- what?”

You’re stunned completely for a moment at the thought that he’s finally, maybe actually going to -

And that’s when you hear it.

Mikey’s off key singing cuts through from the other side of the phone, crooning a rendition of Tom Jones’ What’s New Pussycat. You can hear his brother’s shouts as Mikey continues, laughing hysterically through the words as loud crashes follow.

Leo groans quietly, and you can picture him rubbing the bridge of his snout. “Help me.”

With a soft chuckle you rise from your spot on the couch, moving to grab the menu from his favorite Chinese restaurant off its clipped magnet on your fridge.

“I’ll see you in ten minutes.”

TMNT Headcanon: Cursing During Sex

This idea came from @ninnosaurus in our discord group.

Naturally, I had to do one for each turtle.

I'm sorry my posts have slowed down recently, I was struggling with inspiration to write. Also, I may change my name back because all of the links in my master post are now unusable.

Leo

Generally, tries to be quiet during sex, but there's something about you.

At some point, the calm, collected version of Leo is gone and in its place is this almost unhinged, desperate individual who does drop the occasional curse word while doing hard, desperate thrusts.

“Fuck…” He’ll groan out at the first deep thrust.

Churrs only for you, it’s a soft rumbling sound that is nearly undetectable at first but becomes louder over time.

He does it in the afterglow when you’ve both finished, a thin sheen of sweat covering you both.

He likes to hold you against his chest from behind, the vibrations of his churrs rumbling through his chest.

It is the best feeling ever.

Uses ALL the curse words.

Very loud and rumbly during sex.

I bet you didn't expect a Leonardo one shot out of this, but surprise! For someone the blue bastard decided to step up to the plate lol

It was just a few minutes shy of two in the morning when you woke up for no discernable reason, nothing had disturbed you and nothing in your apartment was out of the ordinary. It was empty, apart from yourself. Maybe that’s what was bothering you; being alone in your apartment while dreaming of your absent boyfriend. Snagging your cellphone off of the nightstand directly next to you, you checked the time before sending a quick text to Leonardo that you were going to sit on the roof of your apartment if he had time to visit. You just couldn’t sleep and sometimes sitting on the roof for a moment relaxed you enough to help.

That’s where you stood now, gazing up at the stars in awe and wonder, phone in hand with the text unanswered. It wouldn’t have been a surprise to you if the text went unanswered and you stood alone on the rooftops until the sun began to rise. An unfortunate price to pay when dating a ninja, but one you were willing to pay for it. Admiring the stars above, the feeling of loneliness was replaced with the sensation of eyes on you after a few long moments.

Even on lovely nights such as tonight, when the moon was full among the ocean of stars just above the river of city lights, it was almost physically impossible for Leo to tear his eyes away from you. A shameless, half-lidded gaze that roamed over your body as the leader in blue stood just barely in the shadows of the rooftop.

“Don’t look at me like that!” You couldn’t help but giggle, unable to hide the blush that crept across your cheeks. It didn’t matter how many times you caught Leo staring, it always sent a cloud of butterflies swirling in your stomach.

“How would you like me to look at you?” He challenged you playfully, a smile creeping across his lips. Leo started sauntering slowly into the light, his steel blue eyes unwavering from your own now.

“I don’t know- how can you stare at me when the sky looks as beautiful as that?” You questioned, looking up to the gorgeous sky above you. A small chuckle rumbled in his chest, stepping close enough to reach out and wrap his muscular forearms around your waist. Pulling you closer and pressing you gently into his plastron, Leo still didn’t look away.

“As far as I’m concerned, you’re far more gorgeous than any star in the sky” He spoke in a low whisper as he bent down slowly, one hand reaching up to gently lift your chin in his direction so he could kiss you soft and tenderly.

Random Bayverse headcanons

- Raph isn't the only crafty one. All four of them do crafty shit:

- Raph both knits and crochet. + whittling (widdling?? Idk English isn't my first language :( )

- Mikey can dye fabric and sometimes sew

- Leo is actually super good at sewing and leather workings (he made the straps he wears in oots himself<3 v proud boy).

- Donnie does well, mostly metal work. He does know how to do a bit of everything EXCEPT knitting and crochet, dude yeeted it straight across the lair and pouted on the couch with his arms crossed when Raph tried to teach him how (don't tell him I told you guys ssshhh)

- While Leo is not under any circumstances allowed to COOK, he IS allowed to prepp stuff. Like cut veggies, it's the one thing he's allowed to do.

- Donnie is known to drink ranch out the bottle. Can someone stop him please

- Splinter is known to "just happen to be there" whenever it's time to make dinner. In reality he's just making sure his sons don't hurt themselves. "Dad, you don't have to be here." / "my son, did you not know most accidents happen in the kitchen?"

- Leo is just as dude bro as Mikey is. April HAS CAUGHT HIM openly scratch his balls on the couch more time than she wants to.

- He doesn't care. He's off the clock. Not "working" anymore, he doesn't need to be prim and proper leader anymore.

- Every spring, like clock work, when their seasons start Leo and Raph has a yearly brawl. Alpha shit, you know? It's full on wrestling and it CAN get really violent.

- Raph broke Leo's arm once during one of those brawls.

- It's also how Raph got the scar over his lips after a particularly hard strike by Leo's elbow that split his lips.

The Many Faces of the Face Man (Or Why Rise!Leo appears as such a Chaotic Mess)

So, it was pointed out to me that Rise!Leo is a Chaotic Mess that can be unreadable or even that he gets in random moods that don't seem appropriate for the situation. And I'm here, once again, to say... No? To me, Leo is surprisingly predictable and isn't as chaotic as he may seem. In fact, he's simply a teenager in desperate need of validation.

And not just from his father who, in Many Unhappy Returns, is outright proven to not be there by Splinter yelling at his son.

Or even the fact that during that same conversation, he overhears that Purple (Donnie) would have been a better choice and tries to, very awkwardly, laugh it off.

Or how about the fact that, moments later, Splinter says this?

Yeah. The situation with his dad isn't great. But it's not just him that's the problem here, it's his entire family.

Because, while yes, he is to blame in The Minotaur Maze. What's the reaction of his brothers when he outright admits that he feels like he doesn't have it in him and he needs their help?

Guess who was just chosen as the "bad guy"? YEAH.

And he cares about them. Hell he has an absolute crisis when they're lost to him thanks to his portals malfunctioning (Which I fully attribute to his self-confidence being on the floor in Portal Jacked.)

And how do his brothers thank him when he gets them back and he's happy to have them back?

They don't. Heck, another relevant episode would be Man vs. Sewer where Leo is played out straight from the comics. They lost Raph. He has to lead and do Donnie and Mikey respect that?

all. (Also, please appreciate the fact that Leo is the only one who actually lowers himself to find his center of balance.)

What does that lead to? Lack of communication. Leo talks but doesn't communicate because no one listens. So every plan he has, everything that goes on in Blue Boy's mind is left there and it never leaves.

However, he still wants validation, he still wants to be seen. Be valued, so, he hypes himself up.

He's highly competitive.

And he tries to share the things he values with his family even though they might not enjoy them.

He is so extra, so chaotic because he wants to be seen. Because he is nothing without his family. Because he feels absolutely expendable without them. In fact, the only moment his self-confidence isn't an issue is in Mind Meld. And what happens then?

He turns into the equivalent of a supervillain.

Leo is cunning. A strategic mind stuck inside of teenager's body that's in desperate need of validation and thinks he's expendable. And what happens when that mind is pushed to its absolute limits? Well...

How about a Bayverse Raph happy and laughing? We so often see art of him being grumpy, or "cool" (don't get me wrong, I eat that shit up), but it would be nice to see him just relaxed and having fun.

Just a little info, it was the first time for me to draw one of the Bayverse- turtles, and it reeeeeally wasn’t easy ngl (That‘s why it‘s kind of a sketch). But thank you for making me try it, maybe he‘s not really laughing, but I think he still relaxed and has fun ^^

Maybe I‘ll try to draw them more often, then I can get better at it, I hope you like it :) (Even though it‘s not completely finished, but my dad said it looks good and that gave me confidence to just post it)

Rooftops and Invitations - Chapter 1

This is a rewrite of a multi-chaptered story written over five years ago. It is set somewhere between '03 TMNT and Bayverse TMNT in the year 2022. It's a Mikey-centric romance where he's around the age of 22. This is the story of how he falls in love with my main OC Mira. She's very near and dear to my heart and my longest-standing OC.

This story is also set in the same AU as my stories with Raph and Chrissy. Eventually, I hope to have stories for all of the brothers but one step at a time.

quick update

hi babes! i know its been a few months since you've seen or heard from me on here! just wanted to update you all on a few life things <3

firstly i miss you guys so much, and i come back to my blog every once in a while to re-read your guys' love and support on my posts it genuinely means the world to me!

secondly, i've been having some mental issues regarding a past abusive relationship that i have thankfully gotten away from and have been making a fantastic recovery from, thanks to my loving and caring boyfriend, i could not have done it without him. that being said it's been hard finding inspiration with all of this building up and kind of eating at my brain, and also out of pure respect and love for my partner, it's kind of hard to draw my attraction away from him and towards fictional characters (including my beloved raph)

i will be trying my DAMNEST to continue bringing more writings to you, even if they're on the more platonic side, but i will not be going away and taking requests from you guys, keeping filling up that inbox!! love you guys
