hi i’m gabby and so so late and this intro is gonna be super rushed ‘cause i gotta go to work and i won’t be on for opening but i’ll get replies tomorrow!! antyways, this is my half-fae, half-shadowhunter bae rowan and i’ll tell you about her below and you can like this/hmu for plots!!!

her family is pretty important in the shadowhunter community and the Lightthorns have always had a good reputation.

so when Rowan’s mom ended up having a secret affair with a fae and her parents found out they were PISSED, especially when she discovered she was pregnant. she had her baby and they just didn’t tell anyone she was part-fae to avoid embarrassing the family name and then left her at the new york institute pretty young so she wouldn’t be hangin in idris and raising suspicion.

her mother is a really really well-known badass shadowhunter but like she rarely ever sees Rowan? after she had her, she completely devoted herself to shadowhunting to make up for her indiscretions so she and Rowan don’t have a great relationship b/c she thinks her mom is just strict but doesn’t really give af about her??

Rowan herself is a very....tumultous person. she’s a really good fighter and shadowhunter since she grew up at the institute and actually kind of likes battle, ya know??

but she’s also rebellious asf and gets along well with downworlders b/c she would hang out with them a lot just to spite her mother and got to be good friends with a lot of them/probably flirted with/dated/slept with a bunch of them to make her mom mad tbh.

very flirtatious and witty and pretty spontaneous.

if you tell her she shouldn’t do something there’s a 99% chance she’ll do it anyways, probably b/c you told her not to.

doesn’t really like how strict the shadowhunting rules are. like she cares about her people but she doesn’t see why they’re such hard-asses.

is the literaly embodiment of the blackthorn’s family motto, lex malla lex nulla (a bad law is no law)

has a temper but is also very caring and straightforward for the most part.

her favorite weapon is a seraph blade, though she’s not opposed to bows, daggers, or whips.

if you give her weapons for her birthday she’ll prolly be the happiest shadowhunter in the world.

okay, so i’m lissa and i’m trash and i’m back with a new baby, so love me and teddy, please??? more under the cut, but it’s kinda half assed, not gonna lie, but at least he’s cute, right???

I THOUGHT I SAW (( JACK FALAHEE )) TODAY, BUT IT TURNED OUT IT WAS JUST (( THEODORE “TEDDY” FORD )). WE GOT TO TALKING AND THEY TOLD ME THEY ARE (( TWENTY-SIX )), AND A (( CISMALE )) (( MUNDANE )). PEOPLE CALL (( HIM )) (( ARGUMENTATIVE )) AND (( SECRETIVE )), HOWEVER I’D CHALLENGE THAT WITH (( INTELLECTUAL )) AND (( INNOVATIVE )). THEY ARE (( NEUTRAL ABOUT)) THE WAR.

okay, so say hello to theodore alexander ford, but he generally tends to go by teddy more than anything else, so he’d really appreciate it if you could just call him teddy. it’ll make his life so much easier.

he’s currently a web designer / programmer for a small start up company that’s really starting to take off, so he’s pretty happy about that, but you know, smaller companies don’t really exactly pay all that well.

so he’s also taken to underground fighting and guess what? he actually doesn’t suck at it. sure, he’s gotten his ass kicked a handful of times, but he’s also held his own more often and he’s made a decent amount of money off of it.

at least enough to have an apartment that doesn’t look like it should be long to a web designer honestly.

but he also doesn’t really talk about it all that much, because he doesn’t really want anyone to get concerned, so he just occasionally walks around with a black eye and a busted lip like it’s no big deal.

constantly tells people he gets mugged and that’s how it happened, so i can only imagine what the people that he’s used that excuse on about twelve times now must think.

not that he really cares, because he’s very much the sort that is ridiculously independent and doesn’t really think that he needs anyone? but, spoiler alert: he does and he’s actually somewhat of a teddy bear if you get close enough to him.

also hella argumentative and opinionated and absolutely will not hesitate to play devil’s advocate, so he’s just really not that fun of a person to get into debates with, unless you’re really into those sorts of arguments.

definitely a pretty smart guy, though, at least around computers and for the most part about current events and what have you.

also pretty innovative and creative, especially when it comes to making up ridiculous solutions for things that just don’t seem like they should work but somehow it actually does?

kinda suave, kinda not, doesn’t really try all that hard honestly, but he’s not opposed to any kinda physical loving that he can get, so by all means.

emotional attachments are also great.

and i warned you all that this would be terrible but.
