The wave of embarrasment began to dim bit by bit as she listened to Kzinssie's ramble and even more through his forced laughter. He seemed to be finding the idea just as ridiculous as it sounded to her now that she had spoken it. In fact he seemed just as awkward and nervous as her right now! Her shoulders eased and a shy smile formed shortly after. He didn't mock her for believing Bokhohn's words but laughed the situation off instead - he really was a hero!

Somehow this whole thing played in his favor... until... "imagine" ... "...giant, terrifying worm-- with razor sharp teeth and claws and a cape!"

For a brief moment her look turned empty - far away from the room and Kzinssie's presence. Her memories pieced together the description into an image form a moment she had tried so very hard to forget.

"No." Her lips barely uttered, "...don't." a faint whisper.

But she had to run from this memory - from this moment, just how her mother told her to. 'Run, don't look back'. Immediately Rabbit shook her head, forced a smile and waved her hands, "I, I ah, I don't want to imagine that, haha... ah.."

Her focus was back into the room, onto him - her favorite hero! He who went through such dramatics to ease the awkward misunderstanding!

"When he said you turn into a worm, I imagined a teeny-tiny worm!" Rabbit continued, holding hands behind her back, leaning in looking at him with a familiar curious smile, "The cutest of worms! But I was worried someone would step on you or something may try to eat you." A pout followed right away, "I couldn't allow that!"

"I know you are...way...way stronger than me, Lord Kzinssie but..." her eyes trailed down over the clutched curtain in his hand. 'What an iron grip. So tense...Being a hero must be a really heavy burden.' ... "... if I can, I will be your hero too! It's only fair!"

With that she put her hand over his in hopes that poor curtain will be soon released from this deadly grip. And then she felt it - the cold clammy hands. There was a flinch in her fingers, something he undoubtedly caught. But she didn't let go, in fact she reinforced her hold with her second hand.

"And... you are right - the moon is really pretty! We could go out for a walk!"

Fussy was one way to describe her today. Ever since her conversation with Bokhohn, Rabbit was preparing for this day, well, night in particular. She made sure to ask the Inn Keeper that no one would bother Kzinssie tonight, even if strange sounds come from his room... to which he gave her a very unsure nod, asking her further if Cat knows.

Thankfully Cat was away to check on some other tower with someone else, which Rabbit had hurried to inform the Inn Keeper about as well. But that only made him look even more surprised. "Well, good luck."

Rabbit nodded, unsure why she'd need luck or why was the Inn Keeper winking at her. It was Lord Kzinssie turning into a worm tonight, not her!

And so her mental to-do list was all checked. No unwelcomed guests tonight to accidentally step on him, a little bed made out of matchbox and tuft of feathers tucked into her pocket and her own resolve to make sure he stays inside and away from any birds who may decide he is a very delicious late night snack.

And so the hours rolled. And he started to find her presence awkward or so she thought. "Err, don't worry about me, Lord Kzinssie!" Rabbit hopped off her own chair and waved hands dismissively, "I don't....really sleep much at night, if at all." There was a note of hesitation there. "The night is for walks and work. It's much more safe than in the day anyway cause everyone is asleep!" She added with a small grin as if her logic was flawless here.

But she walked right into a corner with that one. Kzinssie pulled the curtain revealing the full moon and urged her for a walk outside. But she couldn't answer that right away. Her favorite hero was within his element right now, exactly as he usually resided in her head - basked in the moonlight as if he ruled all that the shadows would ever touch.

And he certainly did not look like a worm right now. Embarrassment began to wash over her. Flight-or-fight...or freeze. It was always the first option but not tonight. Right now she surely found herself frozen in place. She only managed to shift so very uncomfortably and look aside as if someone had just caught her red handed.

"Lord Bokhohn told me you um, that you turn into a worm on full moon nights." Rabbit muttered, "So, I ah... stayed to make sure you will be ... safe."

She thought, maybe if she stared at the ground long enough, maybe it would be kind enough to swallow her right now.

[pt. worldbuilding cultures checklist. end pt.] Might or might not be useful. I'm listing them either way

What do the people wear?

What do the people eat?

How are their houses?

What is the family configuration like?

What is frowned upon?

What is looked upon?

How to the people celebrate?

What do they celebrate?

"What do the people wear" pretty obvious one, one of the most visible aspects of a culture is their dress. Like what are their clothes made of (we can try and worldbuilding what materials are even available to them i we're feeling fancy); what differs rich people clothing from commoners clothing, if people wear different things denoting to gender, race (are there different species living together? or perhaps just different ethnicities? why is that? slavery? imperialism? immigration? did they get together by circumstance?) social class, status (maybe magic users have different dress codes from non magic people, even) do they wear dresses, full body pieces, crossed collars, two piece garnments, hats, etc etc. Also seeing if the weather is warmer or cooler helps.

"What do people eat" also pretty important. Can tell you about what food is available, what is considered proper to eat and what is not (like certain meat being taboo or certain combinations like pineapple on pizza being deemed disgusting), if they are a more soup or a more pastries kind of folk, etc. To split it up in parts we can try to define what are the main meals consisted of (and maybe when do people have them even), what are some desserts/sweets, what are some Party Foods (ie. fancy birthday cake or festival food), what are some travel foods (especially if your people is of particularly nomad ir adventurous tendencies—some examples are travel rations or salted out meat/carne-de-sol. the level of the travel foods can also hint to the technology and magic available but i prefer to settle that in a different topic), which food is cheap, which food is expensive, which food most people make at home and which food it's better to have someone especialized make for you (ie. you don't go on any brazilian house and expect acarajé to be served for you, it's a dish that takes some skill and experience to make. you go to an acarajé place).

"How are their houses" architecture is a pretty eye catching cultural element too. We can see how many rooms are in each house, how does the bathroom work, if they have gardens, if they have some sections separated outside (maybe they pee out the house or the kitchen is placed on the yard for some reason), what are the houses built of (colder locations might have them made out of wood to preserve heat while warmer places might have them made of clay and stuff), and also what do they look like. Medieval european houses, native indigenous brazilian houses, south african houses and feudal japanese houses all look different. Also seeing what makes a house fancy and what makes them simple could be neat (maybe it's a rooftoop type; temples in japaan have a special fancy roof)

"What is the family configuration like" maybe they don't live in groups of "father, mother, children". Maybe there are different marriage set ups, maybe the marriages are gay, maybe people live in large families with their aunts and cousins and grandmothers, maybe people have only one children, maybe they have ten, maybe polygamy is the norm, maybe the 'chief of the house' if there's any is the oldest matriarch/patriarch regardless of gender; etc etc etc

"What is frowned upon" are certain physical features considered ugly or unsightly? Perhaps curly hair is covered because it's associated with a racial minority. Perhaps being gay is a no-no. Perhaps gender nonconformity is also taboo. What is considered impolite or unproper? Think ab the hobbits and how being much adventurous is not very much a good trait. Maybe some crimes are more hated than others (ie. Like pedophilia getting more disgust than war crimes). Some of these may be even influenced by religion or certain power structures. Maybe your guys are also xenophobic and don't tolerate stuff that looks like other cultures.

"What is looked upon" Beauty standards, the most beloved and "sucessful" careers and fields of expertise, what consists a sucessful marriage, what goals should the members of this culture even strive for (perhaps it is being able to live on their own, maybe it's having lots of descendants, maybe it's having a proper and traditional marriage, maybe it is being a strong warrior, etc) and some stuff like maybe virtues (religious or not), worshipped figures, maybe magic users are treated like high priests or smth

"How do the people celebrate" is it in large groups? At their own home? At a specific place designed for that? Is it with special clothes? Is it with music? Is it with art or beautiful performances? Is it with their closest friends and family or with all the community? Is it dancing? Is it with magic? Is there a specific position that aids in the celebration? (Ie. A priest for a marriage or a community leader that has some important role in a milestone ritual)

"When do the people celebrate" is it marriage? Is it death? Is it on holidays? Is it birthdays? Which birthdays are celebrated? (Maybe just the third, seventh and eighth) Relationship milestones? Individual milestones? (like being inserted in a certain religion or learning magic or becoming mature of age or becoming a warrior) When it rains? The passing of the seasons?

Also note: sometimes cultures are influenced by the ones nearest or who they have a commercial relationship with. Sometimes cultures are assimilated due to imperialism and take elements of the dominant culture of the imperial core. Just something to consider.

I didn't even wrote any actual story here, one day I will but I need to say this.

How come that in 5 SEASONS and 1 CHRISTMAS SPECIAL they couldn't portray a healthy or decent relationship between Marinette/Ladybug and Chat Noir/Adrien and ruin their characters the more it kept going while THIS MASTERPIECE

Literally did EVERYTHING right.

From the characters (Marinette and Adrien) personality, the way they interact with each other, Marinette not being confident in a bully kind of way but actually standing up for herself, Adrien trauma caused by his mom death and his father having this kind of Disney villain vibes (it reminds me of Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog) mixed with the Phantom of the Opera and he have a more interesting personality as a villain.

Also the rivalry and when they start to "fight" each other on the rooftoops literally made me feral, pretty much like this.

This movie literally did what the show couldn't do with the story and characters to make it good and you can't change my mind, even the relationship with Alya and Nino is cuter because the interest is there from the start, everything felt so natural between the characters interaction and their chemistry (both Alya/Nino and Marinette/Adrien) was so good I wanted to cry.

I gave up on Miraculous (show) because of how Marinette suck (stalker, obsessive, creepy, pretty much a mary sue who might not be rich but is still spoiled and never actually learn her lesson or always gets what she wants even when she shouldn't) and how they ruined my favorite boy Adrien (from starting as a boy who just wanted to make friends and experience the world to become somewhat of a brat, somewhat of a bad person and spoiled too who act childish because he got rejected), this movie in comparison to the show is way better and I'm glad they fixed all the problems from the show and the crush from Marinette side for Adrien is just way better, also Alya doesn't encorauge her stalking tendencies here.

I loved how they didn't make the Chat Noir/Marinette scene when they are both heartbroken and just made them reject each other in different "forms" like in the show and quickly move on from who they loved because the other understand the pain.

Maybe it looks better than Marinette x Adrien or Ladybug x Chatnoir but at the end of the day it's still the same people using different names.

Whatever issue they had with one person (example Ladybug not liking Chat Noir and the arguing after the rejection) will mix up with the other (Adrien) and change how you've seen that person until now completely, so in the end making Marinette fall in love with Chat Noir after rejecting him as Ladybug and making Chat Noir fall in love with Marinette after being rejected by Ladybug and him "rejecting" Marinette as Adrien is just a messy thing to do in my opinion.

Making them just reject each other without making Chat Noir fall in love with Marinette and vice versa is way better for when they actually discover each other identity because there isn't the same mess as in the show.

It's also true that Chat Noir was salty towards Ladybug at the rejection but he still did his job instead of complaining, sure he had to be called by Plugg and I still don't really like how he ignored the call for help because she rejected him, but he didn't know it was something way worse than the usual.

It still doesn't make it right but at least he didn't let the rejection take completely control over himself like in the show.

Chloe relationship with Sabrina and Marinette.

Sure it didn't gave the same development as in the show since she had less screen time but even there they did it surprisingly well.

At the end of the movie the two are actually somewhat friends with a friendly rivalry, Chloe doesn't try to stop her from getting to date Adrien.

I remind you that at the time Adrien was still thinking about Ladybug, Chloe backed away and let Marinette date Adrien despite she made clear since day one that she wanted to date Adrien, she clearly saw something that Adrien didn't notice in their relationship and she backed away to let them be together with the "threat" of taking him away from her next year, but it's obvious she won't.

Also despite she isn't exactly nice with Sabrina she still care as she's seen helping her after the attack with Hawk Moth.

Sure it still isn't a major character improvement since it happened off-screen but I can't really blame them since it's not a show and they didn't have time to focus on all the side characters.

Still at the end of the day Chloe was good and she didn't stop Marinette from talking to Adrien and let them be happy, because as I hope all of you know if you love someone you wish for them to be happy, even if that happiness means that you aren't part of it because they love someone else.

As for Hawk Moth himself, super cool, actually scary and feels like a actual threat compared to the show.

Also Gabriel still did suck as a father but at least he had emotions, the way they animated his expression, his pain, how you could clearly see the obsession of bringing his wife back having effects on him (you can clearly see him getting worse with time and he looks like a complete mess) instead of the show where you can't even tell the obsession is taking over him since he always acts the same way until he suddenly doesn't and decide to attack the city was amazing compared to the show.

In the movie the visuals for that were so cool, the music actually made it feel scary and the visuals too made it look actually dangerous and Hawk Moth didn't felt pathetic as a villain, he actually looked scary and dangerous.

Also the way they portrayed him and Adrien family relationship and how broken it was, how Adrien actually was affected by it and how you can see him actually care more than he does in the show was just amazing.

I still can't believe that in one hour they did better than 5 whole season and a special.

This kinda give me hopes for the other two seasons coming out but at the same time I'm afraid to expect something from it, it might even get worse XD

I want to specify something, as I already slightly mention it's true that the development for certain characters or ships lacked compared to a 5 season show, but here we are still speaking of a movie with a time limit that might never get a sequel.

Still if you tell me that Marinette/Ladybug x Adrien/Chat Noir have a better development in the show than the movie, the door is right here.

If you prefer them ok, that's your business.

However you can't tell me that stalking, creepy behavior, obsession is better than a somewhat rushed but with actual chemistry relationship between the two love interests.

I remind you that despite us adults/older than 8 years old people are watching this movie/show it's still mainly aimed for kids to watch.

I'm not here to do the "but what about the kids" kind of thing but this time I have to.

Miraculous the show suck because it teach that stalking, being creepy, not asking for consent and being possessive is good and that love happens for dumb reasons such as someone letting you borrow something, in short basic kindness.

Not to offend anyone but that's literally the concept of a Yandere.

The love story in the movie might be rushed but at least it doesn't portray a obsessive crush, it portray a normal crush between two middle/highschool students (depending on which dub you watch the show) which is kinda awkward because it's the first crush but also really sweet and innocent compared to the obsessive and unhealthy version in the show.

Does the Ship have more moments in the show?

Yes.

Does it make it good?

Absolutely not, the relationship in the show suck so much I can't even watch one episode if not the ones in which Adrien act like his episode 1 self (still kinda unsure but excited to make friends), when he becomes Chat Blanc or when they focus on characters that aren't Marinette (like Nathaniel and/or Marc focused episode, Juleka and/or Rose, Luka and/or Adrien etc.)

Obviously there's nothing wrong if you prefer the show, I've been there even if not with Miraculous.

I just don't agree with how the relationship is portrayed as romantic despite all the red flags in the show and the one in the movie might lack a lot of moments but it's still healthier than the one in the show and the characters are actually good.

However as I forgot to mention, this is just my opinion on the movie and show when compared to each other.

I'm not forcing anyone to agree with me and I respect your (whoever read this) opinion if you prefer the show, I don't agree with it as personal preference but I won't force you just because it's not what I like, so if you want to write why you disagree with my opinion feel free to do it, I don't dislike listening to other people point of views but I won't lie, I "gave" the show a lot of chances to redeem itself and I reached a point where I can understand, respect and listen to your opinion on why it's good but my mind won't change idea that easily/at all or agree completely with it, at most only partially.

It would be useless to lie and say that I agree with it when I most likely won't.

Visiting Baji's grave doesn't bring Kazutora any comfort. He'd once thought it might, that he might feel closer to Baji here. For 10 years he'd thought it might. But the first time he'd visited had destroyed that idealistic thought in a swift blow. He feels closer to Baji on the edge of rooftoops than he does in front of this headstone. It feels so impersonal here among all the other graves. Nothing about this is Keisuke. Maybe it would be different if Kazutora had gotten to see the goodbye ceremonies, but he doubts it.

" Hey Kei. " Kazutora sits down in front of the grave, staring at the headstone before he gives a slow exhale. He's not sure where to begin. Where would he start if he was writing a letter? That thought doesn't help him, it just reminds him of how long its been since he's written a letter to Baji. He still has them too, all of the letters from Baji. He chews his bottom lip and turns around, till he feels the stone base against his lower back. It reminds him of times when things were too much and Kazutora would sit back to back with Baji fingers laced together. Sometimes they talked. Sometimes they didn't. Sometimes just Kazutora talked. Sometimes it was Baji telling him dumb ass stories or giving really crappy episode recaps.

He stares at the cloudy sky and sighs. " It's hard, you know? " He admits after a moment. " The holidays are rough. You're not here. Some of it is lonely. " That isn't anything particularly new though, it's been like that most of his life. " Though you would've laughed your ass off at Chifuyu trying to get some of the animals into the holiday outfits. It was hilarious. " He cracks a smile at that. He had videos of that saved on his phone. " We totally would've made you dress up ridiculously. " Baji never could say no to Kazutora anyways, even if he would complain to the high heavens.

He draws his knees up closer to his chest, gold eyes flicking around the headstones. He's free to be here, but there's still a nervousness to it. The thought of seeing anyone from Toman here makes dread curl in his stomach, like he's a tiger that snuck into town rather than being welcomed in. " The pet store is doing really well. Chifuyu puts a lot of hard work into it, but the customers are always praising it and the animals are always happy. Except for bath time. " His smile reappears and then fades away. " Was that his dream too? Or was it just yours that he's carrying out for you? " He asks the silence; he won't ever get an answer. And he won't ask Chifuyu.

" It's nice to work at. I like seeing all the animals, and helping the more wary ones warm up to people. " That's old news though. He taps his fingers, as if it will help the words come to the surface. " Sorry. There's things I want to say, but it feels weird here. We'll talk on the rooftop tonight, 'kay? "

Kazutora stretches his legs out but still doesn't turn around. " Chifuyu...I worry for him. My problems aren't for him to concern himself over. " At least, not unless they affected Chifuyu. He had done more than enough just taking him in for a while and offering him a job. " He should be enjoying this life he's made over the last twelve years. " But that's easier said than done isn't it? Especially when the reason you can't is standing beside you, working with you. " I don't know if me being around is making things worse for him. I think it might be. He misses you a lot. " He thought it'd be you with him at Pah's wedding. Every step of the way in life probably.

He sighs, pushing himself up from the hard ground and back onto his feet. " To be honest, I'm not really sure how well I fit into this lifestyle. " He admits. " I guess you always dreamed about this sort of life. I never really did " The future had always seemed bleak, so he'd clung onto moments instead. " It's not bad, I'm not unhappy. It's just...." How does he even explain it? " I worry Chifuyu will blame himself if I do something or think he hasn't done enough when he has. I don't want to drag him down. " Kazutora had already done enough to not deserve everything as it was.

" I dunno. I've had some thoughts. I'll see you tonight, okay? At the usual spot. " Only then does he glance over his shoulder to smile weakly at Baji, sitting on top of the headstone watching him with a frown. Ah damn. He was wearing the Valhalla jacket this time. Kazutora lingers a moment longer before he turns, walking back down the path. Would it ever feel better visiting here? He was doubting it. Maybe next time he'd try flowers.

The pride flag rumor has been created and shared by solo harries mostly and it upsets me because Louis was the first 1D member to even ask a trans fan about their pronouns, he chooses subtle ways of expressing himself, because he’s closeted and like??? Holding a flag is not the only way of showing your support, and not doing so, doesn’t make you any less of an ally, or less gay. And creating false narratives like that just to get to someone? Last time I checked, I haven’t held any flag as well, and could remove one out of my way, if it’s lying in front of me, but it doesn’t make me any less queer :).

It feels like uk gay culture resonates with him deeply, I am always thinking about him choosing that “ferricadooza” shirt, which is a secret dialect for gay man in the uk, such a clever and subtle way of expressing yourself, but for me it still has the same impact as waving a flag, maybe even bigger, cause to wear that and pose in it, you need to understand a meaning behind it, and for a guy, whose public persona is supposed to be straight, it’s a very telling message. It’s not just showing your support, he POSED in a polari & ferricadooza (two shirts with clear gay innuendos, like come on) and those words are connected to the gay scene in the uk, which makes it so specific, yet he’s from the uk, he’s queer, it’s his circle. He shows what he feels close to.

Louis welcomes fans with pride flags, he waves at them and smiles at them, he knows that only the brave is an LGBT anthem in his community, and he likes that idea a lot. Some ppl need to get rid of the idea that queer ppl can only parade in rainbow colors and wave flags to show that they are queer, cause it’s stereotypical, and quite frankly offensive as well.

It would blow that previous anon’s mind to know Louis was the first to wear a rainbow on stage while in 1D.

Or that there is footage where he thanked someone who threw a lesbian flag on stage during one of his shows.

Or that there are videos of him signing pride flags for fans and writing lesbian rights on CDs.

Or that he included the France show on his live cd where he audibly marveled at the rainbow light show there.

Or that he included several pride flags in each of the tour videos.

I know solo Harries are bored right now, but I thought the newest less than Pl*asing drop would’ve occupied them a little bit longer.

I know, they make up stuff all the time and they're bored. It's important though, to debunk these things before people stop questioning it, and they just take it as an already proven fact and a given, because the theory is so widespread. I genuinely think there's a lot of solo harries and antis who think Louis kicked a pride flag off stage in 1D.

Louis is gay and he's proud of it. He's also closeted and punished when he tries to tell the world. We don’t actually know if Louis is a pride flag waving gay or if he's not. Because i believe he's neven been in a postition to properly tell us. He's worn rainbows on his shirt a couple of times, and a gay beach t-shirt. There's been push back each time after. He's also got a triangle tattoo. So i personally don't think he wants to be particularly quiet about it or that he's not a "shout it from the rooftoops" kind of gay. I simply don't think he's in a postition to show us.
