Day 41– Desert rift

The desert flooding’s a bit of a misnomer— it’s more like the gerudo basin refilled with a mysterious source (most likely ground water being pumped up somehow) and is now puddling violently wherever the elevation dips below sea level, creating dangerous wells of quicksand. While sandseals can thrive happily in such watery conditions, other fauna of the desert aren’t as suited to the moisture.

Good thing gerudo town is built on lime rock.

I never got into Age of Calamity's combat style (that's okay, not every game is for me), but I was interested in seeing the full story. So my partner is playing the game while I watch. We just got to the part where Riju shows up, and Patricia came with her! I screamed.

I was hoping you could play as Patricia, but alas. Still, she tags along when you play as Riju, which is awesome. Patricia runs out front and is ripping shit through all these Bokoblins. This bit in particular made me happy we're playing. Having a great time.
