Satan is high-key Lucifer's favorite.

Normally I would pull up some evidence in support of such a bold claim but all the evidence lives inside my moldy little brain. Just trust me. He is. I know Mammon is supposedly his favorite but I think Mammon was just his favorite before Lucifer had a brother who was also partly himself.

Mammon calls Lucifer a poopyhead when he thinks he can't hear. Lucifer: When will you learn that your actions have consequences? Lucifer strings him up from the ceiling for a full day.

do you guys think Luci ever regrets how he treated mc?

like, would he feel guilt after getting to know them fully? Would he be embarrassed that he was so quick to hate them, especially after experiencing their warmth and their kindness. And when would this finally hit him?

maybe it’s whenever they do something for him, whenever they dip into his office to give him some snacks and tea when he’s been working for a while, or maybe when they volunteer to stay after at RAD an extra two hours to help him wrap up some student council work.

or maybe it’s just whenever he see’s them in general, laughing, doing their work, simply just existing, every second of them being relaxed around him makes him remember the time when they weren’t. When they’d sit up straighter and avoid eye contact.

or maybe it really hits him hard when they flinch away from him, really he had just caught them off guard and snuck up on them, but the way they moved away from his hand, almost fearfully. Maybe his mind goes back to all the threats he had spewed out at them in the heat of the moment, or maybe his mind goes back to when he had injured their hand during the retreat. the first thought in his head is that he doesn’t want them to feel that way about him, to see him as this imposing figure to be feared. He doesn’t want that, he wants them to know how dear they are to him, how treasured they’ve become, how he’d never allow anything bad to happen to them-

Do you guys think it would keep him up at night? Thinking and regretting no matter how many times mc tells him that they’ve forgiven him? Humans are just so much more fragile compared to demons, and he knew this, how could he have been so ignorant? Moments like these most likely make him despise his sin.

it's always "i don't judge !!" until a person is a therian or just alterhuman in general, their religion is something they don't agree with or don't see as a "real or a valid" religion [like satanism or autotheism], they identify with xenogenders and use neopronouns or xenopronouns, they have a unique style like emo, scene, goth, or harajuku fashion, they're disabled, they act childish and age regresses, they have extreme intrusive thoughts, they have "cringe" interests or hyperfixations, they don't have proper hygiene because of poor mental health, their identity "doesn't make any sense", they're "too fat" or "too skinny", or they're just "not attractive" stop cherry picking, you can't claim "you don't judge" when you can't accept these people, please be better ^-^ /gen

Satan: *comes downstairs late with disheveled hair, looking tired and grumpy, glaring at Levi* Mammon: What happened to you? Satan: *continues glaring at Levi* Levi: ...Look! Run Away with Me Neko-Chan seemed like the sort of story he'd like! I didn't realize that he wasn't emotionally prepared for the finale! Asmo: Levi! Did you recommend our baby brother another heartbreaking manga?

Later the same day...

Asmo: I just got off the phone with my agent. I'm going to be on the cover of Demonia Monthly! Satan: Again? Asmo: Mhm! So you'd better buy it! Satan: I see your face every day. Asmo: You really aren't going to support your adorable little brother when he's trying to achieve his dreams...?

If he thinks Satan is doing something cute or funny or endearing, Satan is "my baby brother", but if Satan is being a jerk or ignoring him or acting high and mighty, it's "How could you do this to your precious little brother?"
