Actually good scp
Scp-[redacted] (aka albino dice)
After the last incident, the location and it is number, of the dice, have been redacted due to unforeseen effects on the staff.
[Do not let Dr. Bright and the dice alone in a room without any supervision]
Scp-[redacted] is a big pink fussy dice, similar to the one's find decorating the rear view mirrors on cars. This cube mesures 1m×1m×1m.
I have discovered after an abnormal number of people with albinism have been spotted in Argentina in the province of [redacted].
First contact
The first contact with the locals affected by the dice wasn't very helpful. I don't remember the amount of Spanish insults I have heard that day, but I can be sure that they all were rephrasings of : fuck off and give us our cube back.
Unfortunately, someone who shall remain redacted has put too much amnestics for the locals, and any useful information has been lost permanently. The worst part of this is that the person in question also contaminated our water supply to losing days of work.
Testing the anomaly of the object
Test 1.
Touching the dice does nothing.
Test 2.
Rolling the dice. Again nothing. Not even the rolling of it was anomalous.
Test 3.
We play dices on top of the dice. Nothing, but normal results. We played yatzy, poker, scramble, hungry hippos, 30m of a game of monopoly before giving up in the game, snakes and ladders, a wierd poker kind of game called truco. Nothing!
Test 4.
We were going to perform genetic testing to a d class who was hugging the cube while we took blood simples, when a short cut of power put us in pich black for a few seconds. Then, when the power came back, the d class in question now has albinism!
Test 5.
Take blood simples before test from both bunnies. Control and tested
Put a bunny on top of the cube and turn the light on and off.
When the lights came on, we saw only one of the bunnies have changed. The control bunny still had melanin , meanwhile, the one on top of the dice is completely white.
Test 6.
The cadaver of a freshly deceased d class has been placed on top of the dice.
Another body has been placed 1m apart as a control.
No change has been noticed after the experiment.
It look like it need to be alive to be affected by it.
Test 7.
What would happen if someone with already albinism hugs the dice?
We put one of the research(with albinism) with the dice and turn on and off the lights.
Nothing has changed.
We even tried one d class without albinism and the same researcher and only changed the d class.
Test 8
Containment Tests.
We have made a wooden box for the dice, place a bunny on top of the wooden box.....and nothing happened afterwards.
So safely containment for future test!
Unforeseen incident:
After putting the dice on containment for future experiments, some researchers were extremely intrigued by the effects of the dice and wanted to be affected by it too. Not because the dice in question has some mind breaking powers or mind control, but because they think that albinism is cool. They even peer pressure other researchers into hugging the dice.
We had to discipline 50* members of the team ffs!
*we have found one member of the research group who doesn't have albinism and who isn't affected by the albino dice. Further research is needed to get to the bottom of our understanding.

could you do a SCP-590/TJ stimboard maybe please :0?

Upon trying to find gifs for this, I ended up finding a rewrite of TJ’s article that is WAYYYY better than the original and not ableist so like. This stimboard is based off of this version of TJ because I like him and he’s silly :]
SCP 7849
“SCP-7489 is a ten-year-old child identified as Terrence Jovial “TJ” Hatcher, with red curly hair and blue eyes. Upon skin to skin contact with a physically injured human (or any organism with features congruent to a human), any and all wounds present on the organism's body will be healed, and SCP-7489 will gain these wounds in their place”

Okay, if all your AU Kokichi's met eachother, what sorta terrific/terrible chaos would happen?
Okay we're going to separate this into tiers
Mostly okay with this
Harbinger, he's basically just canon kokichi but he is looking for information and gets really awkward if anyone mentions miu
SCP kokichi has definitely seen weirder
Log Horizon Kokichi is just glad to be in the real world again for a bit
DR Lore Kokichi is just like "This might as well be happening"
Dnd Kokichi thinks its weird to see himself as human but also thinks its really neat
Robo Dictator Kokichi is just glad to have the chance to stretch his legs
Shuichi Enoshima Kokichi is once again just another Kokichi
Stans Kokichi is glad to get away from all That Drama
Hope's Peak Destruction Kokichi is recruiting them all for further crimes and pestering them for information
Pokemon Kokichi is showing off his Salandit by holding him up like Simba
Homestuck Kokichi has faded into the shadows and just watching
Spiral Alien Kokichi has challenged someone to a panta chugging competition
Digimon Kokichi is saying that his dracmon is better then the salandit
Dice Haxs is again a normal Kokichi
Both the Alicorn Kichi's are gossiping and annoyed that all the Kokichi's want to pet them and poke them
Swap Kokichi is teaching Kokichi's to bend themselves weirdly
Oumelette Kokichi is SWEATING and wondering if she should do something about the fact none of them seem to have realized they're girls
Paronpasight is glad to have a break from the death murder shenanigans
Unsettled but vibing
Serial Kokichi is more paranoid then a normal kokichi so he's definitely at least a bit on edge
Slay Kokichi doesnt exactly have the greatest experiences with being in a room of a dozen other versions of yourself but also hes got nothing better to do
Danganronpa/b/o Kokichi is being jealous they dont have presentations and also weirded out by the lack of smells
Overlord Ouma misses Gonta and feels really weird about seeing his old body
Minecraft Kokichi is being weirded out by the physics of this world
Trying to leave
Schrodingers Kokichi does NOT need this existential crisis
Pokedice Kokichi does not trust being a room with so many humans
You Destroy My World Kokichi is really confused and kinda freaked out
Warriors Kokichi is trying to follow Pokedice out of here, animal who doesn't want to be around so many humans club
Trying to fight
Mastermind Kokichi is such an insult to all the other kokichi's that it keeps causing fights and he's having a BLAST
EVERYONE ELSE is trying to get away from
Talent Infection for obvious reason
Fae Kokichi is having A BLAST and wants to kidnap them all
#ndrv3#anon chaos#do i have to tag all of these?#Harbinger Naegi#SCP Au#Log Horizon AU#My DR Lore#Serial Shuichi Au#talent infection au#dnd au#Slay The Majesty Au#Fae Ultimates Au#h0p3 meets d3sp41r au#mastermind ougoku au#Robo Dictator Au#Schrodinger’s Kichi Au#Pokedice au#Kokichi Stans Au#Danganronpa/b/o#You Destroy My World Au#Obligatory Homestuck Au#Hope’s Peak Destruction Au#Obligatory Pokemon Au#overlord ouma au#spiral alien au#obligatory digimon au#Dice Hax Au#alicorn kichi au#Full Talent Swap Au#Obligatory Warriors Au

Something that pops up in my notes from time to time is folks thinking I'm being excessively kind in my criticisms of Dungeons & Dragons, and I'm going to spin this off into a separate thread to address that without putting anyone on the spot.
First, if your own critique of Dungeons & Dragons is rooted in the idea that it's the Worst Game Ever, that speaks more to the limits of your experience than it does to anything else. Dungeons & Dragons in any of its iterations is far from the worst the tabletop roleplaying hobby has to offer – like, you have no fucking idea!
Second, I tend to be even-handed in my discussion of D&D's rules because, fundamentally, the rules are not the problem – or, at least, not the principal cause of the problem.
In many ways, the indie RPG sphere has never escaped the spectre of Ron Edwards, sternly pronouncing that the mechanical process of playing traditional RPGs causes actual, physical brain damage, and that this brain damage is responsible for the bad behaviour we often observe at the table. We don't say it that way anymore, but on some level a lot of us indie RPG designers still kind of believe it.
This is understandable. As game designers, we're naturally inclined to think of problems at the table as game design problems. When we see a problematic culture of play, our impulse is to frame it as something which emerges from the text of the game, and which can therefore be mitigated by repairing the text of the game.
Confronted with the obvious toxicity of certain facets of D&D's culture of play, we go combing through its text, looking for something – some formalism, some structure, some piece of rules technology – which we can point to and say: "this is it; this is where the brain-worms live."
The trouble is, this is not in fact where the brain-worms live. Certainly, the text of a game, particularly a very popular one, can have some influence on the game's surrounding culture of play, but that text is in turn a reflection of the culture of play in which it was written. The Player's Handbook isn't an SCP object, spewing infectious infohazards everywhere when you crack open the cover – hell, I'd go so far as to say that many of the problems of D&D's culture of play operate in spite of the game's text, not because of it!
Basically, what I'm saying is that I don't see any contradiction between being the sort of pretentious knob who writes one-page indie RPGs about gay catgirls talking about their feelings (which I am), and speaking favourably about this or that piece of rules tech from whatever flavour of Dungeons & Dragons is in favour this week (which I do), because I recognise that you can't game-design your way out of a problem you didn't game-design your way into.
The fact that one of the biggest problems facing the tabletop roleplaying hobby is something that can't be repaired by fucking around with dice-rolling procedures is a bitter pill to swallow for a lot of indie game designers, and I won't say I wasn't resistant to it myself, but it's something that's both useful and necessary to accept.
(None of this means that the text of Dungeons & Dragons in any of its incarnations is beyond criticism on other grounds, of course, and I've never been shy about highlighting those criticisms where they're warranted. The only way you're gonna arrive at the conclusion that I'm some sort of D&D apologist is if you're starting from the presumption that The Real Problem Is The Rules.)

You guys this season is 100% about items and artifacts, this episode confirms it. It's like SCP or Control in that regard - oddities (possibly prototypes for philosopher's stone) gathered and categorized by The Magnus Institute Manchester.
This is much different from TMA where it was very specifically about powers affecting people - items they used (artifacts and leitners) were mentioned to almost always be used improperly and their endgoal was to corrupt and twist person who wielded them and people around them, they weren't instruments on their own, they were extensions of their Entity the same way an avatar is. This is not the case here because of two people specifically: Needles and The Dice guy.
The thing about avatars was that no matter if you were afriad of them or not their corrupting power and presence always affected you in some way and they themselves were some way supernaturally in contact with their Entity - this is very common Lovecraftian concept, trying to get close to those "Gods" corrupts you and warps you, subconsciously making you do their bidding thus giving you this supernatural "confidence" in what you do.
Now look at Needles, we laughed at how he couldn't make the dispacher scared and got thrown off when he realized it, but it makes sense - outside of being made of needles there is no paranormal infulence helping him, he's just unwell. Same goes for The Dice guy, he even mentions trying to "become" a type of person we would expect from a TMA avatar, the trenchoat fedora stranger making people roll bad luck dice, but the moment things go south he ditches the dice and dies at the end due to his own stupidity, can you ever imagine a halfway-there Avatar doing such a thing? All this, because they are NOT Avatars: nobody is guiding them, nobody is whispering instructions in their ears and they do not actually feed of the mayhem they are spreading.
It's the items, they themselves are victims of somebody spreading them for data - this goes back to my "it's about alchemists making prototypes of a philosopher's stone" theory. All of those people are either test subjects for specific items/locations (like class-D personel in SCP) or test subjects themselves, transformed by somebody. This also goes back to the incident at Hilltop the volunteers were a project in themselves, self duplicating each one with an odd item, this was an attempt to apply infinite monkey theorem to philisopher's stone creation.

CAIN
HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS
Touchstones: Chainsaw man, SCP Foundation, Jujutsu Kaisen, Mob Psycho 100, all of which it wears proudly on its sleeve
Genre: Horror, Action
What is this game?: Cain is a game about being psionic exorcists tasked with purging humanity's sins
How's the gameplay?: Cain runs on a simple gameplay loop where players must go into investigations to find out more about Sins, powerful beings made out of psychic energy from deeply traumatized humans. The game uses a system similar to FITD, where you roll amounts of die equal to your skill in something, then add more dice equal to any advantages you have, then you make it so any result of 4 or more is a success, and you count up your successes to see if you succeeded in doing the thing! The game also has an economy, the Agency will provide you with most things for free, but you'll have to buy certain amenities and privileges. Your character will have an Agenda (determining how they act) and a series of Blasphemies (determining how their psionics manifest), character creation is as such pretty quick as you just pick between different blocks of skills that you can take up. As a final note, the game contains a system where players can "Spare" sins in order to spare their originator from copious amounts of mental scarring, so they may instead force the sin to collapse into itself, gaining a reduced reward, but keeping the victim safer.
What's the setting (If any) like?: CAIN is set in a world where a psychic warfare happens under the very noses of the common people between psionic exorcists, and Sins, creatures made out of humans under extreme duress, an organization known as Cain seeks to destroy and contain these creatures before they become problems, categorizing them and eliminating them before they grow in power, scale, and danger. There's also many neat details such as different psionic abilities the players may take on, past incidents, a categorization system for the Sins, and corporations that seek to counter Cain's efforts
What's the tone?: Dire, while you're saving people from trauma by defeating their sins, you're part of the meat grinder that is CAIN, being thrown at creatures beyond mortal ken to stop them from becoming a bigger issue, while retirees exist, its said 40% of exorcists die before they can reach Category 3
Length: 2-3 hours is recommended, the game is also deliberately tooled into shorter 10 session games
Number of Players: 4-6 is recommended
Malleability: Cain's setting is pretty baked into its mechanics, but you can definitely change some stuff around
Resources: Online sheets are available and look very good
CAIN's one of those games that you can just tell what its inspired by at first glance and it rocks for it, its a really nice little game, esp for something that's effectively a side project gearing up for the release of ICON
