i keep thinking about post game aus where Davesprite survives(AS HE SHOULD HAVE) and the whole,,, Name issue that creates theres 4 things ive seen ppl do 1. keep the name Davesprite(feels dehumanizing af, makes him being not the 'Real Dave' part of his core identity) 2. change his name(can make sense as a part of self discovery and reclaiming ur own identity, trans coded, But also again, kinda legitimizes his whole identity issues at the same time, he shouldnt have to compromise his identity just cus some fucked up shit happened 2 him, hes just as much Dave as Dave is) 3. give Davesprite a nickname (can be cute but again, prioritizes the other daves identity as dave) 4. call them both Dave(validating, but can get confusing af(especially in written works)) i believe i have found a solution tho give them middle names

Of course the very idea is ludicrous—not even Sarima’s sisters believed it—and Elphaba should know better. But she still loves Fiyero so much that the very possibility lived rent-free in her mind, so much so that she just has to ask Glinda whether or not she banged their mutual college friend. Freakin’ Glinda, whom she hadn’t seen in almost 20 years (!!). And no, I don’t think Elphaba wanted to alleviate her misplaced guilt by believing Fiyero’s death was really the result of Sir Chuffrey getting into a jealous rage. I think it’s rooted in the fact that Elphaba never believed she was good enough for Fiyero. After all, she was never enough to make her own father love her, at least more than her sister, so why should Fiyero stay faithful to her, why not Glinda? [Starts sobbing] Well, jokes on you, Elphie, because Fiyero did not go for Glinda and probably wouldn’t have, yes, he found her lovely but he was also WTF-ing over her new chipmunk personality and refused to take her up on her offer to meet up, and instead homeboy went to the Chapel of St. Glinda just because he knew you went there for some reason, because news flash, he was not chill about you either, not even once, oh God

It's Webcomics Day so I guess I should post about my cringefail magical girl webcomic Cloudy Wondrous. I've been very casually touching up the art from Chapter 1 (since I originally drew it in like 2016 and it looks like ass) and while I've been trying to keep the touch-ups minimal, I had a smidge more fun with this panel. (To be fair, it's supposed to be an important panel so putting a little extra effort into it just makes sense)

Hello!! I am absolutely in love with your work! The characterization and pacing is phenomenal and you give each character so much grace and time to develop and come into their own thoughts/feelings/ways of interacting with the world. I wanted to ask if you would ever be interested in writing Curufin/finrod and how you would imagine that dynamic to parallel or be in contrast to Feanor/fingolfin.

I don't know if you have read yet the chapter uploaded... some hours ago (right, probably not, it's 16k words, christ). But! Bold of you to assume I am not already doing very, very, very subtle Curufinrod (plausibly deniable in its line between platonic fascination and homoeroticism) in this very fic. if you go back and gently connect the dots, the author has been extremely sneakily building a questionmark there from very early on - already from how viscerally Finrod reacted to Maedhros speaking of the "theological evil" Feanor and Fingolfin were committing, many chapters ago. There's at least six of seven places where you could raise an eyebrow if you know what you're looking for. And this chapter, well. Angrist. Hmmmmmmm. Now, is Curufin already dead? Sadly yes. Is the ambiguous fascination implied one-sided? Rather. But it's still there for the very discerning eye, and who knows, I might... give it a prod later on.

I've finished the full draft of the next chapter of Transfer Motive and I'm very excited to fix it up and post it!!! Aiming for it to be fully finished sometime next week?? Depends if I suddenly want to rewrite an entire scene or something!!!
