I saw a take on TikTok saying "A happy Frank Castle is death to The Punisher, he can't be with Karen." I don't think people realize that Frank was acting like the Punisher long before his family died. He was happy, super happy, comfortable in his life and that never stopped him from joining a group of "corrupted" army soldiers, never stopped him from killing people or to be sniper and he admitted TO KAREN HERSELF his crimes even when his wife was alive. The only difference is that now he does it for "punishing" them but technically Frank was acting like "The Punisher" waaaay before his family murder. His killing tendencies has nothing to do with whether he's happy or not. He's gonna do it anyway 💀 I'm not even defending Kastle, but Frank himself. Watch the show, read the comics, do y'all really think a woman can stop him from doing what he wants? Pls

listen I know it's heartbreaking that Claudia dies and it's understandable to wish she didn't, but let's please not accuse the writers of fridging her. to do so is a fundamental misunderstanding of the story and is frankly insulting to the intelligence and skill of the writers of the show.

Claudia's death, and the overwhelming grief and regret her parents experience because of it, is quite literally the point of the entire story. she dies because Anne's daughter Michele died of leukemia when she was five years old and there was nothing she or her husband could do to prevent it.

writing IWTV was how Anne coped with the unimaginable loss of a parent losing her child. she created a story about a little girl that could not die and then killed her anyway. Claudia's death is a senseless, unavoidable tragedy, just like Michele's was. the grief that haunts Louis and Lestat for the rest of their lives is the same grief that haunted Anne and her husband.

so when you're accusing people of killing Claudia off to benefit a story about two men, please remember that in real life sometimes parents lose their children. please remember Michele Rice.

she's the reason Claudia exists.

she's also the reason Claudia cannot be saved.

So you, young hotshot that you are, call an all hands meeting and get a specialist to explain what the problem is. It's easily solved, but it will cost money, and that money is going to have to come from the CEO.

The CEO throws a shitfit. He doesn't want to solve the problem. He doesn't want to admit under overwhelming evidence that it's his fault. But he agrees to do so under one condition--he's not paying to fix it--you are. He's taking your bonus and you can get fucked. As it turns out, the CEO, whose entire pile of wealth has come directly from your hard work, thinks you fucking suck.

Not a single one of your colleagues protests on your behalf, probably because they know that if they speak up, he'll just take their bonuses, too.

So what do you do? Do you continue working for Mr. "idc if my employees die as long as I get mine?" Do you quit? Do you take the wealth you've accumulated working for this guy and go home? Do you stab the worst boss you've ever had in front of every other employee at the company?

i'm making myself laugh thinking about this but I wholeheartedly believe madame morrible absolutely HATES the thought of glinda and elphaba being together like the mere mention of gelphie would probably send her into immediate cardiac arrest and it's not even because she's homophobic or anything I just fully believe she dislikes glinda so so much she's just like this is absolutely NOT happening in my house.

it was one of the shorter ones, yeah! (if you don't count, like, Master Chef or the other ones that aren't really story-based.) I thought it was super cute though! :> especially given how we were in the Halloween + main story gauntlet for a while there, it was a nice easy little breather. honestly I think it was mostly about just seeing everyone come together to make fun of them help our boys be the prettiest tower princesses of all. 💐 (if for some reason this involves Jade refusing to take off the deer mask, so be it)

(and, you know, we finally got a knitting scene, so of course I'm happy)
