It can show us things, it can reveal things to us that we didn’t know about ourselves and it can help refine us and take off our “rough” edges. Pharaoh is funny, he wants rid of the plague, but he wants rid of it tomorrow. We sometimes are the same way. We don’t change for the better right away, but rather change for the better, tomorrow. Is it not better to change for the better for today? Temptation, the flesh, the world does such a good job to get us to procrastinate. We need to pray to the Holy Spirit to ask his help to give us the strength to do the good thing today.

Jeff Labar the guitarist for Cinderella died today, he was just 58, just ten years older than me. I think tomorrow I'm going to listen to Cinderella all day.

It got me thinking, what if I only have ten years left? Just a decade. What would I do different? What would I do the same?

Right now, all I can think of is that I hope beyond hope that in that ten years, I would patch things up with my kids. And I would rather that happen sooner rather than later, I'd like to have as much time with them back in my life as possible.

Other than that I can't think of anything else I would do different. I mean I hope I have more than 10 years left, I still have so much I'd like to do.

And for you people that are going to say...."I hope you wouldn't waste that ten years on her or anyone else that doesn't want to be with you.". Well to you people I would say...shut the fuck up. I will decide what or who is a waste of my time.

The whole point of asking myself what I would do different if I knew I only had a certain amount of time left. And honestly, I already live everyday as if it might be my last. You fuckers have seen how I drive😁!

Anyway, his passing saddens me. So do yourself a favor...find your favorite Cinderella song...and play it. Play it LOUD!
