Conner has taken to flying around high above the world, just drifting where the winds take him. He uses this time to just live in the moment and take in the natural beauty of the world.

As he's floating, he hears the distinct sound of music and screaming fans. He slowly pays more attention to the music, a strong female voice is belting out lyrics to a song that resonates with him.

Pinpointing the location the sound is coming from to a small town a few clicks west of where he is. He immediately moves to watch and listen in person. He has to know who is playing and if all their songs are as good as this current one.

The concert is taking place in a park with a completely open area to stand and listen. The concert is packed with teens and young adults. A typical concert, in Conner's opinion. He decides to fly further to the back of the crowd to watch. Conner doesn't really pay attention to the crowd and is focused on the band and the singer. Completely missing several eyebrow-raising things.

"Hey, flying guy! You can't watch from there please move to the designated area for flyers," A man with gravity-defying white hair and piercing green eyes flying near him says while gesturing to an area more to the left of the stage, where several people were flying and enjoying the concert. Most are glowing faintly, and some of them, concernedly, are semi-transparent. "Or you can keep on moving."

"Ah, sorry I was flying around, then heard this music and had to see who it is… So, umm, who is playing? I really love what I've heard so far." The two of them move away from the crowd.

"She's Ember McClain, the best musician from the Realms. As long as you're not here to start anything, you're good."

"Why are you the security here?" Conner purposely tilted his sunglasses, looking him up and down. Thinking to himself that this scrawny twink can't pack that much of a punch.

"Yes, I am. Even before that comment, I could tell you aren't from here if you don't recognize me." the cute twink laughs a little, "I'm Phantom! Manager of this whole thing and security. Making sure Ember sticks to the rules and making sure everyone else is too. This time no one tries to mind-control anyone."

Concerning comments shelved for later. "It seems I'm also unknown if I have to introduce myself. But for a cutie like you, I'll give you anything." Wink, "I'm Superboy, call me Kon. Can I ask more about you? Like, if you have a number I can have?"

Phantom blushes "Danny…..I don't just give my information or number out to some rando. That is lesson one of being a hero. As I'm sure you "Superboy" know this."

"Okay then, tell me more about this band, and you can tell me more about yourself at dinner after."

Conner reappears at the Young Justice base several hours after he normally would, with several bags full of Ember merch. Signed copies of the albums, posters, shirts, and even a water bottle. He gives a shirt to every YJ member. His phone is full of selfies and videos from the concert and after, as well as the number of a very cute boy, with a date set for Friday night.

So we all know those au where Shen Yuan transmigrates early and becomes Shen Jiu’s mentor/guide, right? SY could be a parent, an older brother, a younger brother, a sibling, a fellow Qing Jing disciple–could be a shidi or shixiong–or a random rogue cultivator.

But what if... he transmigrates as Qiu Jianluo?

Enter, SY, who finds himself transmigrating into QJL, realizing he's Qiu Haitang's older brother and meant to be murdered in cold blood in a few years by the future Scum Villain’s hands. He tries his best to avoid taking Shen Jiu into his household to avoid dying, but the System threatens to send him back to his old body if he doesn't let the plot run its course. It's very hard to avoid your death when even the System brought back the original goods because you refused to play your role—so now you share a body with it's former host, where you can see what the other is doing whenever they are in control, but helpless and unable to do anything about it.

SY would be in control at night, but QJL would be in control by day–hence the reason why SJ was still brought into the Qiu Household, because QJL (the asshole) went out somewhere and brought him back while SY was "asleep".

To everyone else's pov, "QJL"–after some weird fever and a terrible accident–is bipolar. By day, he's the cruel young master. By night, he's the sweet and kind young master–the old version of QJL, the one who wasn't yet exposed to the cruelty of society, the version who hadn't been taken aside by his father to be molded to who he would be in the far future. Of course, people preferred the "nicer" side.

Shen Jiu doesn't know what’s happening, but he also prefers the kinder side: according to what he hears about his master, he had suffered a terrible accident–It was out of nowhere, too!–on his birthday where things changed.

SJ’s life will continue on as it was–except he gets spoiled by SY at night, gets cuddled by him, gets comforted and such. He gets to learn that the "nicer" side likes to call himself "Shen Yuan", and being to call him as such. SJ may or may not....have a crush on "SY". Well, it's complicated, really, since the "young master" is also the one who sort of hurts him and the fact that the share the same face/body–and also the fact that he's supposed to be engaged or marry the sister.

"SY" eventually manages to wrangle control from QJL, and seals him away after outsmarting the System, convinces SJ to escape at night to Cang Qiong Mountain Sect, giving him money and supplies so he can make it there to find his "Qi-ge".

He waits for SJ, hoping he would turn out fine and never treat the protagonist badly, always exchanging letters with him on how to handle his disciples and such, until a few months later, the letters stopped. SY is of course saddened by this, and mope around for a while: everyone isn't too worried that he'd go on a rampage and beat people up, because the night that SJ fled, the "harsh" QJL was suddenly gone.

QHT is a little worried about her brother, of course. And a little stumped that her fiance ran off to be a cultivator, but then again, it will work out for her to have a cultivator as her husband, right? Wrong!

SJ suddenly came to their household one day, all finery elegance, and grace–looking like the immortal master that he is, and QHT is overjoyed by his return. She thinks they'll finally get married and all...only for SJ to kneel before her brother and propose to him—

"....Xiao Jiu, what the hell?"

—much to everyone's shock, confusion, and outrage (on QHT's part).

I think this is about Penelope and him.

Obviously, their marriage bed is made from an Olive tree. If it's just about Athena then why are there two mentioned? Why did Homer mention two when he could've just said he took refuge under one? Or a completely different type of tree? Why mention them being intertwined?

One an olive: Penelope, who has been with society and "safe" in Ithaca ("Safe" because of the suitors)

One wild: Odysseus, who has dealt with literal monsters and immortals and has just escaped from Calypso. Literally naked and filthy, a "wild man".

Whether you want to think of it as them being likeminded or simply connected, even though they are apart, nothing could get in between them. 🥺

I don't know what else Homer could be referring to other than them.

If I tell you guys I have the worst feeling that Phainon and Xbalanque are thematically similar... (Mysterious origin, sun-motif, a 'perfect hero', 'sunny' and friendly, having an enemy with moon-motif who might be important to them/are themselves, living through a tale of heroism, related to cycles- Phainon with Amphoreus's cycles and Xbalanque with Pyro Archon/Six Heroes and the Evil Dragon cycles... there are probably more) would you guys tell me I'm crazy or nah.

I have never seen or read Demon slayer (and tbh I don't really plan to). And I've also never even heard of the clones up until your blog, so my only knowledge and understanding of them is almost solely formed on your interpretation. You made me want these guys in ways that are concerning feminism. I can't even think about picking up the manga because if the canon is somehow different by your interpretation I fear I would feel as if the canon ones were ooc. Like, no, Null never said they would do that🤨 does this guy Koyoharu even know what she's talking about??🤨🤨

sighs.. but tysm.. I try my best to make them in character as possible even if some qualities might irk you, but isn't that what makes them even more loveable? I hope I can bend the perception of more characters in due time.

Even if you did watch/read demon slayer, you wouldn't see these jerks until season thREE and EVEN THEN. SLAMS HEAD AGAINST THE WALL. WITH SO LITTLE SCREEN TIME. That's also probably why you haven't seen them around. they don't have much content or focus on their backstory, so the Fandom didn't get as attached. and I make it up with the scraps given.

holds your hands. I do recommend at least watching the scenes with the clones in the anime. their VAs did such a good job, I love both sub and dub. Sekido's grunts, Karaku's laughs, Urogi's laughs (and screeches), And Aizetsu's WAVERY VOICE all echo in my head constantly. I miss them.
