The glorious invisible warrior-poet of Vvardenfell, Vivec. The VI in the ALMSIVI, warrior poet, god king, member of the Morrowind Tribunal, anticipation of the Daedric Prince Mephala, now comes to the sims 3 as a plumbot. Both halves of each body part are fully recolorable, the head especially. The eyes as you can see are each colorable. That was my favorite bit. What I shall say next is unpleasant to record: HERMA-MORA-ALTADOON! AE ALTADOON! Happy simming!

Boutique Mod - DOWNLOAD
Inspired by the sims 2 shopping for clothes system, I present a sims 3 take on buying clothes, accessories and running a thriving boutique! Set up shifts, keep the racks stocked, and you might find yourself in profit!
Required:
Ambitions
NRAAS Master Controller + Integration Module
Optional:
ITF if you want to use the clothes mannequin and some visual effects.
Late Night if you want the animations for the security guard.
Seasons for extra interactions on the mannequin.
Savvy Seller Set for some visual and audio effects.
Full Documentation is included in the download. I spent a while writing it out, so please read thoroughly!
How Stores Work:
Set up a shift
Hire Employees (bosses count as employees so stores are fully functional with only one sim!)
Link at least one rack to the register
Open for business!
Employees:
Store employees can be given three types of roles: register attendant, sales attendant and security guard.
Employees will do their jobs automatically but you can always manually tell them to do things too like: restocking, dressing up mannequins, helping customers, among other things.
Customers:
Inactive and active sims can browse through the racks and have the ability to purchase items. They'll interact differently depending on if they are shopping at a clothes rack, accessory rack, or at a mannequin.
Inactives won't purchase outfits from mannequins unless you direct them to (or you enable auto-purchasing in the XML). However, they may "fake" buy clothes.
Once finished shopping, customers hold their bags and wait to be rung up! Take too long and they may abandon their purchase.
Shopping:
Adjust prices and restrict customers by age and gender to customise your store!
Clothes Racks:
Buy Clothes for your own sim, sims in your household, or (if you're an employee) suggest clothes for customers.
Employees that suggest clothes for customers can fulfil Ambition Stylist jobs this way.
Accessories Racks:
Choose accessories to be sold by adding them to the XML in the package file. The XML comes loaded with a few base game items already plus a couple modded items (Arsil's Sunglasses and lipstick - that won't be loaded unless you have them installed).
Sell buy-mode items as well as CAS items!
Make your CAS items wearable from your sim's inventory using your own meshes or my dummy accessory (see Documentation and XML for details).
Blacklist certain categories from being shown. If you want a dedicated shoe shop or an opticians, you can have it!
Try on products before buying them to see if they suit your sim. If there's a mirror in the room, they'll check themselves out in it.
Clothing Mannequin:
Try on the mannequin outfits to see if they suit your sim.
Plan different outfits to display and even set them to be rotated through seasonally.
Let your employees be creative and choose a random outfit for the mannequin to wear.
Buy clothes for your own sim, household members, or customers.
Allow or disallow inactives from automatically purchasing display outfits.
Security Gates:
Give your security guards something to stand and look threatening by.
You can try your luck at stealing from the shop. If you're caught, you'll have to pay up. If you get past the gates (or if there are no gates), enjoy your bounty!
Boutique Door:
Cloned from the Savvy Seller doors without the annoying 'kick-every-last-person-out-the-building-come-closing-time' feature.
Link this to a register and let the open and close sign automatically flip itself. Also, close the store or rename it, straight from the door.
Phone Interactions:
Ask for time off work (paid or unpaid).
Call in sick.
Cancel vacation days.

World Downloads(Added information about rabbithole rug).
Hi everyone! First of all, I must apologize. Regarding my previous post about "Victorian Sunset Valley", I deleted it because there was a problem with the save file. There is no problem with the empty world.
I'm really sorry to all the simmers who downloaded, liked, reblogged and commented.
It seems that the problem can be solved by separating the save files, so I decided to share it again. There are no changes to the empty world, so if you have it, please try again.
❖Empty World There are just a Public Lots, a Farm District, and Goth Manor.The two hilltop mansions don't exist yet. This is Sunset Valley long before Mortimer Goth was born.If there is a historic town you have in mind, you are free to build it here.
※An empty world requires the store item "Artemis Temple Frieze (Muse Luxury)".
❖Save files You can enjoy the Victorian era right away, but there are no film careers, universities, or diving spots. There are a few empty plots, so feel free to add them.
This time, I did not build any houses. I only built some public lots, but I changed the color of the buildings I shared before and placed them. The Equestrian Center of EA is very conspicuous, so I built a small racetrack. There is a fire station of EA next to it, but it does not blend in with the scenery very well, so I am thinking of rebuilding it someday.
The address of @ri-el's Sherlock Holmes residence is 221B Baker Street. I wanted to place this residence on the main street, so I set the lot size specifically. Then I placed the lot built by @nornities to match the cafe next door and the stairs leading to the harbor across the road. The harbor is a bit of a tourist area, with trade ships, sightseeing ships, and passenger ships arriving and departing. Some Sims may come to see the steamships, so I prioritized placing it here. There are also lots of great builds by other creators included. Thank you.
Every house has some sort of vehicle (either a horse-drawn carriage or a historic bicycle), and the sight of so many carriages going around town is truly impressive!
It looks heavy, but if you can play the EA Store worlds then I don't think it will be an issue.
Basically, it is a town for enjoying historical play such as the Victorian or Edwardian, but I think it can also be enjoyed in normal play.
The decoration is minimal, so feel free to edit it however you like and have fun.

Information:
These are default replacements. I have separated them into folders for each EP (ITF, UNI, and Supernatural).
There are two versions (you can use both at the same time). One edits the slots to make them full rotation, the other edits only the ITF shelf so it is hidden when walls are down. The other shelves are hidden here.
Full Rotation will conflict with anything that edits the RSLT. Hide Wall Down will conflict with anything that edits the OBJD (this conflicts with my object hiders).

Adele's Super Chouette for TS3
As promised, Adele's Super Chouette is ready for TS3. Everything is tested by Graf Sisters. The only problem that I can think of is that I had to clone an ITF table because I couldn't find another object with 4 mesh groups. So if you don't have ITF, the coffee tables may not appear in your game.
And If you're aware of any base game object with 4 mesh groups, please inform me so I can try to make a more BG-friendly coffee table.
As usual, a few things to know before download:
The Loveseat is the master of textures for the armchair and sofa. I tried to lower the polys in low detail lods but they're higher than what's preferable.
Loveseat, Armchair, Sofa -> 4 Channels - 4 presets
Loveseat Polycount -> HLOD: 2276 MLOD: 1483
Armchair Polycount -> HLOD: 1324 MLOD: 886
Sofa Polycount -> HLOD: 3348 MLOD: 2029
Coffee tables use the same textures, but they're not dependent on each other in case you want one and not the other. The one with the brick is the original; I'm not a fan. So I made another one with metal legs. If you'll have both and merge your files, texture resources will be merged perfectly - having the same instance numbers.

The BD-3000 Luxury Droid is a versatile attendant droid used for a variety of functions. Programmed with a basic linguistic database, which made it capable of speaking over a million languages, and a respectable language processor, though its translation capabilities were not up to par with a dedicated protocol droid. Other roles include more technical ones like starship pilots to mundane ones like cooks, tailors, and courtesans. Designed with an idealized for of the standard human female body, and programmed with a variety of personality matrices and a gyro-stabilized gait that imitated a hip-swaying walk that'll make anyone weak in the knees, the BD-3000 is a must have for any who'll want a style over substance status symbol.
This model is based on the depiction in the clone wars, and was created by JohnDev25. He often does transformers models, so this was his first human like creation. It truly is a testament to his skill that he brought to life this wonderful droid. I highly recommend you request a commission from him.
The droid comes with a head, arms, torso, and four sets of legs. From the standard, to one with a smaller waist, thicker, and thicker with 'boots.' Both thicker ones come with extra bits. Requires into the future. All rights go to Disney who owns Star Wars. And please enjoy!

Oasis Dress by Artlos for Sims 3 In preparation for my Lunar Lakes/Oasis Landing Generation in my first ever Legacy, I started to learn Converting stuff from Sims 4 to 3. There isn't much Futuristic/Sci-Fi looking stuff in 3 (atleast nothing I like) and the ITF stuff isn't a lot either so I took it into my own hand to look for something and found Arltos Oasis Dress, which was just perfect. I took 3 whole days to learn the process and it wasn't as bad thanks to my, somewhat, previous knowledge in Blender and @nightospheresims 's amazing guide! Ofc there was a lot of fucky wuckys but no one is perfect in their first try. (Download and more info under the Cut)
There is a issue with it tho. Some Vertices are visible on the light swatch (shoulder) but they were also there in Blender and I couldn't get rid of them, atleast not with my bare knowledge. You can only see them when you are very close tho. Maybe change swatch for Screenshots lol.

Also I didn't manage to make it dyeable. even tho I followed the guide, it seems like I didn't understand that 100%, lol. But I added some available Sets I liked the most. :) The Dress looks funky in CAS but as you can see on the Pictures, it is fine ingame!


So onto the download. I am not very confident sharing it because I am afraid it will not be perfect or cause issues, but that is probably just my anxiety speaking lmao. So if you experience any issues, crashes or anything after using this dress, pls lmk asap and make sure to remove it! Credits go to @arltos for the Original, which you can find here. If this isn’t too personal, what’s the reason for your departure from EA/Maxis?
Edit: Another question I have is, were the number of Stuff Packs & Expansion Packs to be released for The Sims 3 predetermined during its development?
If not, why did the series end with Into the Future specifically? I’m aware ITF coincided with TS4 release but TS4 was criticized for being an unfinished game (I.e., no toddlers and no pools in the base game).
Surely EA could’ve taken time to release more packs for TS3 while simultaneously giving devs extra time to polish TS4? - Matt Brown’s Answer from the r/Sims3 AMA (May 11, 2025)
I've actually left EA/Maxis twice :). Once in 2008 and once in 2018.
Near the end of Sims 3, I began focusing on spinning up Sims 4, largely focusing on identifying the key areas we'd need to dig into first if we wanted to make the Sims an MMO. At the time, I'd made two Sims games end to end, and having witnessed the alpha/beta/live of Sims Online and seen all of the issues, I really wasn't at all on board with the idea of making another "Sims MMO". I also had the opportunity to go to Blizzard to co-lead the design at the very beginning of a new MMO (ironically enough) that would let me bring my quirky Simsy-ness to a whole new genre. If I was going to learn how MMOs are developed, I figured I should do it where my favorite MMO was made :). That was Titan fwiw. I plan to talk about some of those prototypes on my site and do some deep dive videos in the next little while. It'll be clear why it was relevant :)
In 2018, the stream of EPs, GPs, and SPs had become a little rote, and I'd spent the last 6-9 months helping spin up a reinvention of SimCity (lead by Eric HW) that had morphed into something more creative and sandboxy and Maxis silly magical to the point that we stopped calling it SimCity. We'd gotten to a place where the studio was seeing something special there, and I wanted to find another way to "pay it forward" I guess. Roblox (what I left for) ended up being the perfect opportunity to work with young creators and to build systems and tools to help them discover game development and content creation and become game developers themselves.
EDIT: Not really, no. We always know we'll end up making additional content, for no other reason than we had so many fun ideas during base game development that just wouldn't fit. But I'm not aware that we ever plan packs ahead of time. There are a few "gimmees" like pets that we know we'll end up doing at some point, but nothing beyond that.
I wasn't there for the transition from Sims 3 to 4, but from what I understand, there was some regret later that there wasn't more overlap. I think there's always a "but if we don't stop making the old one, they won't buy the new one" with executives, but I've never seen that play out on any franchise I've been a part of. New iterations are mostly additive. If you loved the the previous game, you're not going to ignore the cool new version of it. And just because you buy the new one, you're not going to throw away the game you're already so invested in.

No Rules Legacy - Favorite Generational Gameplay
The margin between one and ten was really, really slim. I loved this legacy from start to finish, and there were no boring generations for me. I especially loved exploring parts of the game I'd never tried before. This is a long one, so 👇
GENERATION 6 - I'd never really explored the equestrian aspects of the Pets EP, and playing with Alexandra and Buran brought out my latent inner horse girl in a big way.
GENERATION 8 - I'd also never tried the singer career of Showtime (or really any of Showtime tbh) and there was no better sim to guide the way than Fable Solomon. Pairing her with a hot former Grim Reaper was also fun, but helping her become a pop sensation was a blast.
GENERATION 1 - Nara got the legacy off on a wild foot with all her university shenanigans. Because I typically pair my OC sims with Jeffery Dean, I really wanted her to end up with Jacob Salaman, but he was the literal worst. Still, it was fun to watch their lust-hate relationship implode. And Jeffery got the girl in the end.
GENERATION 3 - Daisy wins the prize for making me laugh the hardest at any gameplay ever. All I wanted was for her to have three kids with three guys and then choose one as a spouse. Instead, she had two sets of twins and two more kids with the three guys. And the best of them hated children. Her generation was pure chaos every second and I loved it.
GENERATION 7 - The subplot with resurrecting Anna was me, trying to write myself out of a corner, and it was bonkers. But Keahi raising Fable on his own was incredibly special. And maybe some of my best writing. IDK.
GENERATION 2 - Kana and Noel's outdoor lot was my first attempt at off-grid play and it was great fun. I loved their relationship, loved watching Noel rise through the ranks at the restaurant, and Kana was the cutest little pregnant mama I've ever seen.
GENERATION 10 - Despite kind of rushing it at the end because my save was so unstable, Dylan's generation was great. I loved giving him a lifelong friend group at college and exploring all the different ITF futures, which I'd never really done before.
GENERATION 9 - Scuba diving is my absolute favorite in-game activity and it was really great to see the diving career through to the end for once, and Mara loved diving more than anything.
GENERATION 4 - I hadn't ever gone beyond casual nectar making, so that was pretty cool. In achieving her lifetime wish, Noelle made a LOT of wine, so I sold off most of it as the generations progressed. But Dylan still has one bottle of every nectar she made and some of them are worth a small fortune.
GENERATION 5 - Poor Mateo didn't really have a lot to do. It took him almost no time at all to collect the minor pets, and because he was a loner, having an actual job stressed him out. He was happy spending time with his family and it was lovely, even though it wasn't the most exciting gameplay.

So, here's how she decorated the inside of her science center.
This is the ground floor. At the back on the left, is an inventor's bench. Across - on the right back - she had a chemistry set. I switched it out for 2 by Sandy from her 4to3 hospital set. In the front on the left is another inventor's set, but I may switch it out for an alchemy thingie. Across on the other side, she had another chemistry set, but I switched it out for 2 computer desks from Sandy's space center set. Outside, she used those chest sets from ITF.
On the 2nd floor, she placed some stuff from Uni. Then, made a small cafeteria. I was going to place some telescopes on the balcony, but the stadium blocks the view, On the back balcony, she put another 2 sets of tables and chairs like the ones in the cafeteria.
On the 3rd floor she had 2 of those white boards from Uni and some regular tables. I made a platform for the podium and the remaining white board, then added 3 tables and chairs so sims have someplace to sit and take notes during lectures. I used those planetary lamps by cyclonesue on the tables.
In the front, I switched out the tables and chairs she had and used the ones from Sandy's science set - complete with microscopes. Then outside I added the planters with the ITF plants. I may go back in and change the flooring, since it's driving me nuts.
This was a small building she had on the side. It had stairs down to a basement, where she placed the science rabbithole building. Since I use doors and rugs, I eliminated all that crap, slapped down my rug and in the back room placed that time-travel thingie.
I did eliminate all the rugs she had under every single item. I love Jenba to death, but the girl has a serious clutter problem. I tend to think more about routing issues, so I try to be a bit stingy when it comes to clutter.
And then I went and redid a house down on Meadow Beach Drive.
