Little Peter not feeling well because he took an asthma attack after playing outside with MJ all day and the pollen irritating everything for him so he gets an early bath and cosy footie pjs, and gets to sleep between daddy and uncle stephen who decided to stay to monitor him. He just enjoys being tucked between the two men, taking in all the attention he's getting. Daddy and Uncle Stephen are enjoying giving him the attention too, especially because it makes him forget to whine about being sick

Little asthmatic Peter is seriously my favourite thing ever so this turned into a shit drabble sksk ((mind you that i dont actually know how to treat asthma okay i just thought this scene would be cute))

”I should have checked the pollen forecast, god damn it.”

”The forecast is not 100% accurate either way, Tony. Peter won’t get any better if you start beating yourself up like this, you know.”

”Still, I should have checked and warned Pepper to keep him inside.”

The day had started out lovely. The sun was out, no clouds and there was a soft breeze in the air. A perfect spring day and Tony didn’t think much of it when he dropped his boy off at Pepper and Natasha’s for a playdate with MJ, as he was way too stressed and preoccupied with a business meeting. Tony had a feeling that the meeting was going to be a tough one and so he had arranged to have lunch with Stephen to ease the stress he was feeling. Just when he and Stephen were shown to their table at the restaurant, Natasha had called.

Peter was having an asthma attack and both Tony and Stephen stormed out of the restaurant and rushed to the boy. The attack was more or less over by the time they got there, but Peter was still shaken and wheezing badly, crying softly and with a concerned looking MJ next to him. The poor girl thought it was her fault because she chased Peter in a game of tag in the yard outside.

”It’s my fault.” Tony mumbled to himself, picking up the oxygen tank and tucked it under his arm to carry it to the master bedroom. Meanwhile, Stephen fetched a fresh sippy cup.

”D-daddy…” Peter tried to say, but ended up just doubling over coughing where he was sat on the middle of the bed. He was dressed in a fluffy blue onesie, one that was cat-themed and had paws at the feet, tail and white tummy with a little heart by the belly-button. The boy looked adorable, although tired with his hair still damp from his bath and curls falling over his droopy eyes.

”Right here, baby.” Tony assured and patted the metal tank which he placed next to the bed. ”This will really help.”

Peter wasn’t so sure and looked at the oxygen tank sceptically. Despite being asthmatic for years, Peter still hated everything that had to do with it, particularly when things went south and he needed extra medical attention. Luckily, Uncle Stephen could often sweet talk the little boy to take his medicine and not make a fuss, which was lucky for Tony too, who had a tendency to beat himself up when things went poorly and worried himself sick for his precious boy.

”Your Daddy’s right, sweetheart.” Stephen added when he walked in with the sippy cup, placing it by the night stand before moving to the tank and busying himself with setting up the nasal cannula. Peter looked on with disgust and whimpered for Tony to come over to him, which he of course did.

”Don’t wanna, Daddy…” Peter’s voice was barely a whisper, due to all the coughing that had left his throat all raw, but his Daddy heard him nonetheless. Tony arranged himself so that Peter was sat in between his legs, his back against his Daddy’s chest.

”We made a deal, right? Either it’s the hospital-” Tony started and Peter visibly tensed at that, squirming where he lay. ”Or you’ll be good and let your Uncle care for you here, yeah?”

Finally, Stephen had readied the nasal cannula and fresh oxygen was now flowing through the little plastic tubing. The doctor moved closer to Peter and Tony on the bed.

”You’ve had these before, Pete, so there’s nothing to be afraid of, yeah? Just gonna tuck it into your nose and behind your ears like so.” Stephen explained calmly and did as he said, tucking the tubing behind Peter’s ears and into his nose. The boy squirmed at first, as the cannula tickled his nose, but once he took a couple of breaths, he relaxed visibly. He began breathing a little easier and didn’t wheeze as much. Even his lips and cheeks got some more colour in them. The inhaler and steam from the bath from earlier did most of the job of clearing Peter’s airways, but the extra oxygen still seemed like a huge relief and the boy sighed with a little smile.

”See? Your Daddy and Uncle would never wanna hurt you, baby boy. We just want what’s best for you.” Peter didn’t reply to his Daddy, just brought his thumb up to his mouth and began sucking on it.

The thumb was quickly switched out with the sippy cup as Peter had a snack to regain some his strength. As he sipped on his berry juice and nibbled on grapes and crackers as he watched Paw Patrol, he would lift his fingers to fiddle with the tubing in his nose. With a soft chuckle, Stephen would grasp the boy’s wrist and pull his prying hand away.

”Let it be, Pete. It’s helping you breathe.”

After two episodes of Paw Patrol, Peter started dozing off, which was no wonder considering the excitement of his day. Before he could sleep though, his Uncle wanted to have one last listen to his lungs and brought his stethoscope out, much to Peter’s annoyance.

”Nuh-uh. It’s cold!” Peter argued, pointing at the chestpiece of the instrument that always gave him chills when pressed to his skin.

”Okay, okay. I’ll warm it up, yeah?” Stephen bargained, breathing hotly onto the metal and even brought it to Peter’s hand so he could approve of it. ”Is that better? Can I take a quick listen now so you can nap after?”

With a little nod, Peter allowed his Uncle to do that and with the help of his Daddy, the boy got his arms out of his onesie so that his chest and back was exposed. With a little smile, Stephen put the earpieces in his ears and placed the chestpiece on Peter’s back and requested the usual.

”Deep breaths for me now, Pete.”

Peter was more than familiar with the drill and took deep breaths through his nose and let them out through his mouth. Now and then, he would have to cough and doubled over doing so, but his Daddy was right by his side holding him upright and steady till it passed.

”There’s my good boy. Such a good boy for your Daddy and Uncle. I’m so proud of you.” Tony kept murmuring against Peter’s temple, leaving little kisses in between each praise. The boy blushed at that and kept up the deep breaths until his Uncle was done with thoroughly listening to his lungs from the front and back.

”You sound much better already, Pete baby, but we’ll keep the cannula in for at least the rest of the day.” Stephen said, putting aside his stethoscope once he was done with his examination. Peter pouted at that and both of the older men laughed at how adorable he looked.

”Is not fair!” Peter whined, bouncing a little on the bed in frustration as he was helped back into his onesie by Tony and Stephen. But once they explained to Peter that one of the privileges little sick boys get is extra cuddles, the boy forgot about his whining.

Peter fell asleep ten minutes later, spooned from behind by his Daddy and with his Uncle on his other side, stroking his curls lovingly.
