"You did and I will still prefer being stuck in the jello jail than being dismantled or whatever would happen if I did turn evil," he said grinning as he was poked in the forehead. "Good thing we aren't going to focus on anything involving babies then! If we did somehow get married or wanted kids, we can either adopt or just have a hundred Chao. It's like those weird human shows where there's that one crazy cat lady."
He finally stopped pacing, tapping his foot while trying to figure out what they should do at the moment. "Uh....ok, what are our options of what to do?"
Tumblr media
"Hey, I totally remember apologizing for that!" The mouse pouted softly. "...But I would love to spend some quality time with you. I really did miss you while you were gone. I want to know everything! Unless there's like a secret mission I am not supposed to know about."
The albino gave it a thought. "In all honesty, I don't think I have ever met Mr. Chuck in person." She snorted poking Shard's forehead. "I mean, you don't have to know about it, as long as you aren't interested. I know much about anatomy, but I am not really interested in finding out in much details how babies are... Hm, formed and birthed. Saw it once and I would rather not witness it again." A visible shudder ran through the chemist at the memory.

VERY old and uncooked au I have where Viktor (and eventually jayce) end up working for Silco.
(Edited on December 17th, 2024. Added Sky to the plot, edited the way the heist happens, explained a bit more about The Herald, generally added some other details)
PART 1 - VIKTOR (childhood, adolescence, survival)
Singed actually takes the child in. Yeah I know Viktor technically HAS parents but we've never seen em in the show so I'm ignoring them
So Viktor now lives + works for singed. He gets over his morals real quick when faced with a fully equipped laboratory. He's a child, okay? He gets excited and is eventually groomed (I don't mean romantically, just like molded) by singed into agreeing + obeying all the things the older man tells him. Silco joins in on the part later and toys with his brain as best as he can
Singed uses him as a bargaining chip with Silco. An investment, if you will.
A bit of a "future promise" thing. Viktor actually agrees to this because he knows it's the best shot he's got. All the years living alongside Singed have made him into a more cynical/realistic person. He's 13 and already grumbles at "kids these days"
And Silco is an opportunistic man. He looks at this young, blooming genius and goes "yeah, why not? He is your problem, though. Have some money and make me a bomb"
Viktor also gets a pretty decent gun and shooting lessons. His aim is decent enough. He also hangs around sevika A LOT. He recognizes her as the strongest, safest individual if a fight breaks out and tells her ad much. She won't admit it but the praise feels good. She allows him to hover around and he helps her with small things like lighting hee cigarettes or refilling her flask. It's a symbiotic relationship where they both look at each other dead in the eye when someone is saying stupid shit.
So Viktor is like 15 and suddenly faced with even MORE power and recognition, even MORE fundings and accomodations.
This boy pours his life and time into making weapons. His dreams of being a scientist are slowly forgotten as both Singed and Silco effectively turn him into their perfect little genius.
They turn his desire to help against himself, telling him that the only way the under city will ever get better is if they go against piltover and win (which yeah I mean it kinda makes sense) and just general promises and such
Silco is genuinely surprised by how inventive the kid can be, and in return Viktor appreciates the man's offers and words for what it is: a trap he's wilfully walking in.
Silco does NOT feel any affection for the kid. At least not a lot more than he does for sevika or any other loyal worker. He is amused by his intelligence and somewhat entertained by his ideas. He seems Viktor as more of a small dog he's raising, expecting him to develop sharper and sharper fangs. He does care for Viktor in the "one of my youngest workers is more efficient and savvy than five of yours" way
Viktor doesn't feel any affection for Silco, either. He's a really down-to-earth kid, has lived in the fissures all his life and has been coached by singed into how to navigate the under city. He knows singed doesn't really trust the man and doesn't plan on doing so himself. He does love the opportunity he's given, but knows damn well that it's all done for a higher reason.
He does feel a connection with singed, though. It's mutual in a way. More of a mentor-mentee thing than any paternal/familiar relationship, but they're both satisfied with it. Singed respects Viktor and treats him as an equal, which also means he can a bit too harsh on what is essentially still a fragile teen.
They are protective of Viktor only in the way one is protective of their own gun
PART 2 - VIKTOR (last of his teen years, young adulthood, rage)
EVENTUALLY Viktor manages to worm his way into the academy (in the same way he did in canon) while hiding from Silco, Singed and Sevika, and is, instead, rejected. Heimerdinger is too weary of Viktor and his general attitude (for a good reason) and plans on having him interrogated. When he tries to get Viktor to walk alone into a room with him, Viktor panics and starts stuttering out explanations. He knows his position in the under city is conditional. Knows the leash that Silco has around him. The academy could be his safe haven and now he's losing it.
He's also fake-dating Sky while this goes on. Except she's fully convinced they're gonna get married and Viktor is a Homosexual™
Heimerdinger does his best to try and calm him down, however, every word he says makes the situation worse. He's so clearly out of touch, promising things that could never be done.
Viktor is under a lot of pressure and just starts spiraling. Everything the yordle says makes things worse and worse. The commotion calls the school guards attention and Viktor gets almost thrown in jail, all while heimerdinger tries to tell the guards to let him go. Viktor eventually manages to sneak out but fucks his leg up even more in the process.
Sky tries to help, they have a horrible fight and essentially roast each other until they're both kinda crying. Sky cries the most.
He returns "home" and, refusing to be taken back for such a thing, turns his sadness into bright, burning indignation. Silco might be an idiot, he realizes, but he's right about some things. He burns down the uniform after ripping it into shreds.
After all of this, he abandons any dream of ever getting out. Singed looks at him knowingly, tells him that sneaking around is a fine art he hasn't mastered yet, and leaves. Silco welcomes him back with a satisfied smile, and a "see, boy? I was right"
Silco isn't killing Viktor for his betrayal because he smells the heartbreak and KNOWS that this is the time to attack if he wants that boy to be on his side for the rest of his life. Sevika isn't even mad. Just kinda disappointed.
And it WORKS. Viktor is devastated and isolated, and Silco effectively positions himself as the only current logical option. Viktor knows that this is all a shit show but decides that there's nothing to lose by working for the biggest kingpin in the city
This is what begins his transformation as The Machine Herald, or "Herald" for short. His leg is Fucked Up and Singed goes "hey how about I do an unsupervised surgery on you" and Viktor just kinda goes "yeah well why not". He wakes up with more wires than veins in that leg but it hurts a lot less so. Can't win them all can we?
Years go by, Viktor becomes part of silco's inner gang, since Silco is finally sure that this boy has nowhere to run, no one to ask for help. He develops what could be seen as a friendship with sevika. They drink together every so often, trash-talking the rest of the henchmen in hushed whispers in between assignments. She tries to give him life advice in cryptic ways. He kinda gets it. Most of the time.
He makes up with sky and become Best Friends™. In a way. When they're not trying to get each other to come back to Zaun/Piltover
He keeps sky a secret from them all in fear of... Well, of whatever the fuck they could try and do to her if they got mad at him.
He's also a bit of a slut. I mean he's young, hot, kinda part of Zaun's elite, smart... yeah he's getting around. This part is important I swear. No it's not I just want Viktor to get it on. He's constantly sneaking pretty boys in and out of wherever he's staying at that week which is why no one really questions Jayce (see, it was important) the first few days he's in his house after The Trial (idk where the fuck sevika sleeps. Do silco's henchmen just sleep in his house??? Does he provide apartments?? I need to know)
People in the under city actually start talking to Viktor as he gets older, realizing that he's a bit less violent than the rest of silco's thugs and they have a 50/50 shot that he will actually help them in their pleas. This is always weird to him but he endures it for the sake of staying on top of what's being said in the city. And he's also generally a kind soul deep down
He buys from benzo frequently, and Benzo tolerates him because once, very slowly and in a hushes tone, he heard Viktor tell Ekko to never work for anyone with a shark aquarium.
Viktor is quite fond of Ekko. If Silco didn't basically own his soul, he would definitely take the kid in. Which is why he eventually becomes the biggest timebomb advocate.
PART THREE - MEETING JAYCE.
He's in Benzo's shop when he meets jayce.
He goes "yeah I could get him to suck me off probably" and tries to approach
And then jayce pays in GOLD and DOESN'T HAGGLE
And he realizes that this idiot is a piltie. He also realizes that whatever the fuck he just bought and the whole projects he's talking about could be useful for him and silco will not like it if a PILTIE out of everyone outsmarts him in weapon creation. He literally gets in between him and the door with absolutely no idea of what he's going to do (there is absolutely no way he's upping that payment sorry silco you are no match for the Kirammans)
There is no time and he defaults to "oh this is not my bedroom!" mode.
Cue him saying something like "I've never seen such a pretty face in this store. Are you from around here, darling?"
Ekko is gagging in the background.
They flirt yada yada I have the scene but it's too long to write here. U get the idea. I'd anyone wants to read that ask me but for now just use your imagination
Viktor offers Jayce to come back with him to his house for "protection" because "these streets are sooo cruel for foreigners" and Ekko hypes him up. "Oh Yeah Herald here is So Strong and Everyone Respects Him" which is technically not a lie. Jayce gets overwhelmed and accepts. As this is happening the kids are staging the heist but it has not happened yet. Don't ask me about timelines idgaf
They make out a bit, Jayce tells Viktor all about his theory (which is arguably hotter for Viktor) and shows him his notes (because obviously he carries his journal with him)
Viktor is BLOWN AWAY by this. He gets all worked up. Never felt this horny before. They discuss for a while, and Viktor decides that THIS is something he can stand behind. Actual discoveries, not just drawing blueprints after blueprint of the same fucking thing
Really how many ways can one design a weapon in
Anyways
Viktor sort of mildly drugs jayce and steals three of the shiny orbs and then wakes Jayce up and tells him that this was delightful and such.
PART FOUR - Hey Silco Can We Adopt This Boy. For Science
The heist happens the very same way. Viktor hears about it, about the trial, and decides that all these years of work should get him some privileges
He goes "If you're going to change the world, don't ask for permission" and just goes to save Jayce. Originally I had him argue with Silco and Singed to allow him to do this here but yk what? This man is too impulsive to do that. He's breaking his man OUT with two bribed bodyguards and Janna on his side. Sky is 100% on board because she kinda knows Jayce and he's really nice so she doesn't want them to banish him.
Viktor breaks jayce out do NOT ask me how #thepoweroflove and Sky's blessing or whatever. The henchmen get to punch enforcers so they're happy about it.
The "am I interrupting?" Scene happens. It's also too long so.
It takes Viktor a while to convince Jayce to, yk, betray his country and leave everything he's ever known behind, but Jayce was literally about to kill himself and Viktor is talking about change and help and people who actually need it (lies) and he looks so beautiful under the moonlight and he remembered him. So. Really what can one realistically do in this situation if not agree with the criminal who's trying to save you from exile.
They rush back to Zaun, Jayce leaves a hasty suicide note and says he will drown himself in the river and not to search for him (he leaves a slight clue for him being in Zaun as an alibi in case they eventually find him and want to blame Viktor for kidnapping. Which is such a hot and clever thing that Viktor almost kisses him right there), they break into heimerdinger's room via Sky giving them the keys, steal all the equipment they can carry (henchmen & co brought some bags okay??)
When Mel arrives they're gone. She calls for the guards to come but they're waaay out of her reach and Sky is there all beaten up and crying (she agreed to it)
There might be a motorcycle involved. Cyclists Viktor... Yeah. Hot.
When they arrive, he has his very first actual screaming-match kind of fight with Silco and Singed about keeping A Piltie in their territory, but they eventually and very reluctantly give in. Also Jinx is there. So Silco isn't really that preoccupied with who lives with Viktor and more with how to make this child stop wailing.
Silco knows that even a worm will turn. If Jayce does agree to work for them and stays loyal, then they get another good worker. If not, they can always kill him. He's never heard Viktor this adamant about someone before, and damn he's seen the boy walk around with some pretty faces. Maybe this Jayce fella truly is smart.
PART FIVE - JINX AND JAYCE
When Viktor shows up he finds out that silco has adopted a child. Also Sevika doesn't have an arm. Also Vander is dead. So is, presumably, that child with the bad haircut. So is Benzo. Which is a bummer. He liked the store.
Ekko is nowhere to be found. That's a bit sad. Really sad. He sheds a few tears.
Jayce hates everything that's going on around him buts this man is SUICIDAL, basically homeless, penniless and his one and only lifeline is Viktor. Even if he stayed in Piltover no one would've been able to help. He's just kinda going with the flow. Having him gives Viktor his backbone and morals back. Slowly. Very slowly.
Hextech develops WAY slower. Like they're working in a drug den in the middle of what is basically a hastily put together lab there's absolutely no way there's the same conditions. They're doing their best though.
Jayce Is actually really impressed by shimmer and how it can "help" people. He's gaslighting himself ATP and everyone else is enabling him. No Jayce you're just creating an army of drug addicted zombies what do you mean giving power to the people.
Also eventually Silco gives Viktor a laced brace that makes him mildly addicted to shimmer. Viktor is clever enough to realize what's going on but also experienced enough to know that refusal would be seen as an offense. He takes the brace on and off with his own prototypes. Sevika and him both know they're just digging themselves into a deeper hole. With time he just goes "yeah fuck it" and starts regularly using it on his wires for the better performance of his leg. Glorious evolution or something.
Silco actually tries to kill jayce once because he was getting too fucking annoying and self-righteous, but Jinx steps in. He reminds him of claggor (in a bizarre way). She claims that they're both her friends and she loves them and silco just seethes in silence because Why did he become a father.
They help raise her. Kinda. Not co-parenting. More like co-uncling. They're both horrible influences but they aren't worse than Silco's enablement so it's just a very fucked up raising strategies cocktail.
I wrote all of this so I could successfully say that they have a tea party with her.
THEY LOVE LIL JINX OKAAAY. Specially jayce. He takes all his emptiness and sadness and anger and tries to fill it with love for her and Viktor, the only two people he feels are kind of honest to him. He tries to befriend Sevika. Doesn't really work at first.
Also Jayce being jealous of the fact that Viktor got around, specially when he has the audacity to give powder boy's advice (sevika is a STONE TOP LESBIAN you can NOT tell me anything else) right in Jayce's face. Yeah. Miscommunication. Falling in love. Devotion and guilt. Feelings of owing. Hesitant kisses and never said words. YEEES. I know it's a bit tropey but I like it so. Yeah.
Also both Jayce and Vik have long hair. Jinx insisted they let it grow like hers. Jayce's actually reaches his shoulder plates/mid back while Viktor keeps it shoulder length, just long enough to tie it. I think. Still haven't decided since long hair Jayce is too hard to mentally picture but I know he would look GOOD
Yes this also means that Jayce and Vi meet even earlier. They take a look at each other as they both try to calm down jinx and Become Best Friends™
Caitlyn always has a heart attack because YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD. She, like Vi, goes "yeah silco is definitely keeping my sister/brother captive" and they're both like You Will Not Believe This.
Viktor doesn't join them in their adventures because he is Not jumping around the roofs. He uses a cane. Leave him alone jinx no he can't climb the stupid ass tower.
Jinx and Jayce become a sort of "ground control" thing. Jayce is BUFFED that man can stand his own in a fight. He's not as quick or flexible but he makes up for it in pure absolute brawn. They're not actually doing anything useful they're just entertaining Jinx every so often.
Idk guys this au is consuming my brain.
I have more ideas but this was way too long already
If u read this far u can actually ask for a small scene on the au or add an idea and I'll write it for u

"Do you know what hydrogen peroxide is for, Sherry?"
"Um, when you get hurt, you can put it on to protect yourself." Sherry shifts in her seat, pushing her legs under her to give her an extra edge of height so she can see the table better. These chairs were made for adults. She kind of wishes she had a big pillow under it.
"That's right," Wesker confirms. She feels pride swell within her at the confirmation. "But it has other applications, too," he swiftly adds.
"Oh." At least she knew one. How did scientists remember them all, all of the time?
Wesker sets out the flask of peroxide far from the cage of the rat, something he repositions a little further away - seeing Sherry's eyes roam to it - and leans to the right to grab a small plastic cup. "What's your favorite color?"
Sherry thinks about it for a minute, punctuating it with a 'hmmmmmmm', and then she nods. "I thinkkkkk... I like yellow. Why?"
"You'll see," he responds, getting a dropper no bigger than the side of her pinky. "Three droplets of tartrazine." He squeezes the end of it, letting just three small drops descend from the tip into the flask he'd set up.
Splish, splosh, splash!
Sherry watches closely as it swirls into the hydrogen peroxide in the flask. It curls and plumes, slowly spreading like ink or paint in water. She liked when paint did that. "What's tartrazine?" Then, Wesker offers her a tiny coffee stick, which she takes without reservation.
"It's called yellow food dye. In your food, it's yellow five." He says matter-of-factly. Then, he gentles, "Why don't you stir that for me?"
"Okay," she chirps, nodding, leaning forward a little to mix what's in the flask at Wesker's request, trying to make sure she doesn't mess up whatever it is he's making, even if she doesn't quite understand yet what it is. The liquid within the flask turns a bright, transparent yellow after a few rotations, and she leans back again, pulling the coffee stick out. "What's your favorite color?"
"Hm..." Wesker adjusts his shades, contemplating exaggeratedly. He hadn't expected it, but there was no price to honesty - except maybe that Birkin would return tomorrow with a scribble of a yellow-haired stickman with a colored shirt. And shades. This is acceptable, he thinks. "Red," he responds decisively.
Sherry nods emphatically. "I like that one, too." It's a good choice - their colors would make orange! Maybe she'll give him yellow pants and a red shirt when she draws later. Or maybe... maybe she'll give him an orange shirt. Now that would be novel.
"Now... Sherry, observe," Wesker says, and she refocuses her attention.
Wesker takes the cup, pouring potassium iodide to the 10 milliliter mark, and brings it up to the flask. He turns to her a little. "Are you ready?"
"Yeah!"
Wesker turns back and pours it in in one swift motion, then yanks his - and Sherry's - hands away. The solution bubbles swiftly, then switches to angrily, and Sherry gasps with surprise as it shoots lemon-scented foam up from itself and all around its' base. It continues for about thirty seconds, during which she giggles and claps. "Wow!"

REQUEST: I honestly don't know if your request is open but have you seen the song for epic the musical? "Would you fall in love with me again" ABWISJ😭💖 I can see a trope for Hange x reader, with them just being soulmates in every other universe.Or perhaps Immortal x mortal, feel free to ignore this dw 🏃🏻‍♀️💨✨ [originally requested at @hangesdarling blog] PAIRING. Hange Zoë x female reader SYNOPSIS. Hange found a glowing door during their walk.  CONTENT. fantasy au, fluff, angst, Hange is a mortal, reader is a spirit of some sort, scientist!hange, barely proofread (sorry), this probably has a sequel that will make more sense with the prompt given A/N. hey anon, I posted this request on this blog bc the longer, sfw, and more tender fics belong here (I sort writing by theme xD) and this is in third person bc i feel like it. Hope you like this :)))
Tumblr media
There were days when Hange had to step out of the lab, feel the breeze in their skin and wander through the greeneries surrounding their cottage. But today, with enough soot all over their hands and a graze or two, they decided that stepping out once in a while should become a vacation entirely. It would be nice not to stare at flasks and formulas for once. Hange took off their coat, nursing a small wound with an absorbent fabric. The last thing they needed was an infection.
With enough wandering through the clearing, they successfully distracted themself from the difficult chemical they couldn't brew and instead began identifying the leaves they crossed in the forest. They happily took mental notes, remembering better times when they were younger, more curious, more creative and perhaps, more satisfied with life than before. If only things were simpler again.
Their wandering thoughts held themself in place when Hange stopped near a countryside house. Poison ivy crawled on its dusty and barred  windows, the rust-colored walls barely peeking through the greenery.
In its center, an ornate door of exquisite beauty stood. What drew Hange in was the faint glow seeping through its hinges.
They inched closer, careful and calculating as they always were. A decision which ended up with cursing themself that being cautious and afraid was not a brand of their character years ago.
They held the door knob, twisted it, and half-wished to hear a click.
It opened. And instead of seeing what was inside, Hange saw someone emerge from the door as though summoned. She has the features of a human if you don't look hard enough for the small things which sets her apart. Eyes and expression of a deity, someone you'd kneel for, Hange thought.
Too awestruck, they managed to stammer a shaky hi. They were opting for a polite good afternoon but none came out of their mouth.
The woman returned their politeness. Hange tensed up less when they spotted the amiability of a human in her smile. Both were enthusiastic enough that their own names spilled from their lips along with an outstretched hand.
Their conversation flowed like honey on a warm summer. Smooth, unhurried, perhaps, even sweet. Hange observed that she's smiling more often, listening with interest in her eyes as they leaned on the door frame, exchanging tales.
Oddly enough, they only stood outside the door for the hour they knew each other.
"Is this your home?" Hange felt the need to ask.
She shook her head no and responded, "I'm its keeper."
Y/N spoke of it as if it's alive. Hange glimpsed a trace of her belongingness to the place. She belonged to it in one way or another.
"Is anyone inside?" Hange asked.
"No one lives here."
Hange thought carefully.
"Abandoned then?"
"Not entirely," she responded.
"Are guests allowed inside?"
"Yes," she responded with a hint of eagerness. "Once they beat me to a game of riddles."
Hange found themself smiling, "That sounds fun."
"It is. Many have lost."
"Will you give me a try?"
"Of course."
They sat by the doorstep, Y/N with her head resting upon her knees and with Hange facing her close enough that their knees touch.
They exchanged one riddle after the other, Hange growing enthused by each question which became stranger and stranger, each requiring deeper thought than the last.
Y/N spoke with tenderness as though each word she utters were spun carefully upon a precious thread. The tenderness remained in her gaze as she looked at Hange, her lips forever carved into a soft smile.
"No riddles anymore, Y/N?" Hange grinned, lightly running a finger to a strand of hair falling to her face.
"No more for tonight," she spoke. "It's late at night. The gods don't listen after dark."
She's a strange girl, Hange thought with a hint of affection.
"I see," they responded. "It's interesting to stare at the night sky too. The stars are far prettier from my window."
"Won't you stay?" she asked, her voice weaved with a fine strand of pleading.
"I can spare a few minutes," Hange answered.
And every day that came, they did so. Sparing a few minutes, a few hours, and sometimes (with a scold in their head), half a day.
Days went past, countless riddles exchanged. Hange debates with themself every time they pick apples from their yard, thinking whether falling deeper in love with the strange girl at the door is a good idea.
But they always came, sitting outside, sometimes waiting, bringing her anything edible that grows around their house.
"I'm afraid I've run out of riddles," she once told Hange, taking the apple from their outstretched hand.
Hange shrugged, "Does that matter? We have countless things to talk about."
They sat beside her, closer than they ever were.
"It's only right for you to go inside now," she responded. Was that a resigned voice of acceptance Hange heard?
"This is new for me but frankly, I'm not interested in what's inside this mossy old thing." Hange tried to laugh despite the terrible pounding in their heart, despite their aching desire to tell her how grateful they were for meeting her which rekindled the joy they once lost.
Her hands ran gently across the disheveled strand of hair in their face, tucking them neatly.
Her hand rested on the fine sharpness of their jaw. Hange resisted the desire to close their eyes and lean to her touch. They clasped it with their own hand and spoke, "What is even there to begin with?"
Y/N smiled, "You should be. The treasures inside chose you.''
"The greatest treasures known to men."
"I'm not ambitious enough for such greatness."
It was partly true. Back then when they forgot the joy of idle things, they were hardly satiated. A hunger to have, and a greed to know held them in shackles for longer than they'd like to admit. It went on until she came along.
They were free. What else could they ask for?
"You don't have to be. Not all great things are bound for greatness," she reasoned, shrugging. "Besides, don't fine trinkets interest you?"
Hange chuckled at her knowing smile. Her thumb ran gently across their cheek, their hand still clasped to hers.
"I do," they responded. "Will you come with me, then?"
"If you want."
"I'll be more than happy."
-
The door swung open, the glittering and gleaming yellowish hue of gold almost blinding them. Hange's lips parted in awe. The interior of this place defied the architecture of its exterior. No countryside house can possibly extend as far as two towns inside.
Y/N held Hange's hand, treading on a path of gold and jewelry which eventually turned to a variety of rare trinkets and shining weapons embedded with sizable, precious stones. Each turn in the never ending alley of treasures grew wider and far varied.
"Have people entered here before?" they asked, a curious finger poking around the littered jewelry.
"Some."
"How much did they take?"
"Many. Some crush under the weight of their own gold."
"Comical," Hange returned her gaze.
"It is."
As they neared the end of the ever expanding place, Hange only carried a book containing (by far) all the world's knowledge, and a quill embedded with emeralds. Y/N gave them a ruby locket which they happily kept.
"Then we return back to the door? Is that how this works?" Hange asked.
"Well, can you see the door from this side?"
"Not at all."
"Then we will use the back door," she smiled, that one that makes Hange's heart flutter. "We will emerge in the front door in any way out."
"Fascinating architecture, then," Hange smiled, facing her, their hands clasped tightly. And with a much tender voice, they spoke, "I don't want to wake up from this dream."
"Are you dreaming, Hange?"
"Most likely," Hange said, their hands lifting to touch her cheek. Any warmth, any indication that blood flows under her skin would be enough. "I hope you're not a part of it. I hope you're real."
"I'm as real as these treasures are."
Melancholy swept along their feet, entangling them. If reality could bend itself this way, then what is there to be truly believed?
Hange accepted things in their scientific nature. It was the only way to survive such a rigid world.
Hange wrapped their arms around her, gently sinking to a tight embrace. Her warmth beneath their hands wasn't enough, their eyes itself a betrayal. Hange wanted to feel her dull yet persistent heartbeats beneath their hand, hindered by the softness of her flesh that only proves a degree of realness. It felt like groping for the only living thing in the dark.
"Can I invite you home then? If you're real, will you stay at my place tonight?"
"You have no idea how much I wanted to," she responded, her voice giving in at the last syllable. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes. "But we'll meet again. You have all that you need."
Hange held back a meek protest, a lover's cry telling the other about the uselessness of life after such a great loss. But Hange only smiled, hopeful again, no longer the scientist barred inside their lab with nothing but calculations.
"I'll wait then. I'll wait until you come home with me."
"I will."

When the house let Hange go, the door no longer glowed from within. The riddles are over, the treasures inside waiting for a different chosen one to open it. Hange had wished that all those days were nothing but dreams. Crossing the valleys of impossible dreamscapes were far easier to accept than the reality of a love lost, a promise hung between fantasy and reality.
But the book, the quill, and the ruby locket were all too true for them to deny that everything had been a dream. They still went to that door every night, the locket around their neck and the book giving them new riddles to tell. Hange spoke of narratives alone as though she can still hear them, as though one day her door will open once more and the blushing face they missed will reappear to them. Every day, for years they didn't count, they sat outside her door. Waiting, waiting. Sometimes they fall asleep, missing just the faint reddish glow from their locket. Sometimes they'd listen to the wind howl, and stare back at the night sky full of watching stars. Often, they wanted to sink to their knees and pray for another chance, for another time when they didn't go inside the glowing door, but praying is useless when the gods don't listen after dark.

The Perfect Equation: The day when it all begun
Ishigami Senku x fem!reader

✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦
"On that day...every human on earth...turned to stone!!"
・・・・・
"Listen up, Senku!!" Taiju bursts into the school lab. "There is no stopping me! It's gotta be today!! After five long years of having feelings for Yuzuriha...I'm gonna confess my love." He yelled out loud, startling everyone besides Senku, who was even remotely close to the school laboratory. It would not be surprising if Yuzuriha heard him from wherever she was; hopefully not. Even so, it would not change much since his feelings are quite clearly not one-sided.
"Hm...Interesting, very interesting." Senku exclaimed and turned around to face the loud boy. "I'll be cheering for you so hard from here in the science lab that my vocal cords'll snap." The male said, clearly not thrilled. It is not like he does not care for his friend; it's just that the outcome of this situation is quite obvious.
"Oh yeah? Thanks, Senku!" Taiju yelled, too loud, again. "Silence. I won't cheer even one millimeter for you, you big oaf." The scientist retorted. "Wait, so which is it?!" Taiju exclaims, to which a young girl standing opposite of Senku sighs. "Don't worry, Taiju, I will cheer for you." She says. "Oh, thanks (Name)!!" the brown-haired boy immediately responds to the female's encouragement.
"A fool who takes five whole years to say anything is the epitome of absurdity." Senku says, to which Taiju retorts, "You are no different," leaving the girl accompanying them confused.
"Allow me to provide a method so rational it'll kill you," Senku says as he turns for something. "Quite literally..." (Name) mutters with a small smile because she saw what her friend was reaching for. "This will send your pheromone production into overdrive. Basically, it's a love potion." Senku turns back while grinning menacingly. "Your success is ten billion percent assured if you drink this!" He hands it to Taiju.
The male was staring at it; you'd think he was actually considering it, but then he spilled the contents of the flask into the nearby sink. Was it good, spilling it into the sink? Probably not, but they have filters, or at least you think they do. "Thanks, Senku, but... no thanks! I can't go and cheat my way into her heart." Taiju says and leaves the laboratory with a confident but scared smile. And (Name) quietly cheers him on.
"Was that really a love potion, Senku?" A member of the science club calls out, and the girl chuckles.
"Of course not. It's just ordinary gasoline. Me and (Name) produced it from plastic bottle caps." Senku answers the question, uninterested. "Just think about the atomic structure of polyethylene, you fools! It's merely long gasoline molecules chopped up by a few hydrocarbons. Simple enough to understand," he explains, although it does not seem to have the desired effect since most of the club members seem to not understand.
"It's actually done in commercial plastic-to-fuel plants. By heating plastic in the absence of oxygen, you can break down the long hydrocarbon chains in plastic into simpler hydrocarbon molecules, which include components of gasoline, among other things. The process is called pyrolysis." (Name) adds not only some cool info but also their confusion.
"So...Taiju would've died if he drank it?" The same club member who inquired about the existence of a love potion earlier asked the obvious question. To which the seemingly only capable members of the club nodded. "He would not drink it." The girl shakes her head. "He is too honest for his own good."
・・・・・
"I bet you 100 yen that he'll get totally rejected." Said one of the guys watching Taiju's confession.
"Five hundred says she'll reject him." Another says, albeit I do not see any other difference in their bets besides the amount of money.
"Put me down for a hundred." Another voice calls out.
"Ten thousand yen says she'll accept him, contrary to expectations," Senku says, looking too smug while buying a drink from the vending machine, and the girl, who always seems to accompany him, nods along while sipping her (favourite flavour) milk.
"Hey, Senku..." She looks at the horizon. "What is that?" She says as Senku notices it as well. Neither of them knows what it is, but either way, Senku pushes her behind him, still keeping her close.
・・・・・
"It's so cold, and I can't feel anything. Did I die? No, that's unlikely; dead beings have no brain activity... Maybe it's my last seven seconds? I don't think that's true, either. It has to do with the light. Or maybe it's the afterlife? Well, if it is, it sucks!! I imagined it to be some nice place where you can at least interact with other people!! Ah, I miss my friends...Taiju and Yuzuriha were outside when it happened, I hope no natural catastrophe comes. Well, I don't think the old school building would protect us any good, too, so..."
"You should not let your consciousness slip away, but it has been so long. Humanity must find a way to help you, right? Or are you really- no!! No way!! After all, your friends, especially Senku and Taiju, would not give up. Both for different reasons, of course. Taiju for the reason of confessing his love for Yuzuriha, and Senku possibly for survival? No idea. Seems like the thing he would do."
"I wonder how long has it been. Feels like a really long time, but I have nothing to entertain myself with, so time really does feel like an illusion. I hope there are only a few people in this state, Someone might take care of my cat..."
"I cannot let my consciousness slip away. What if I don't wake up?"
"I'm so tired... and feel so, so cold..."
"Maybe a small nap won't hurt..."
"It will hurt!! Get a hold of yourself. Count equations, name the elemen

🌿🍃Toxic Lover: Pt: II
Nightwing X male!reader with a former team who had become Poison Ivy like meta-human.
Summary:Your a former Titan teammate, you and Dick have unresolved feelings and you become infected with the same toxins and chemicals that turned Poison Ivy into a meta-human.
————-
“They Can Bury Us Deep, But We Always Grow.”
Batman sat perched on the rooftops of Gotham. It was a rainy night, much preferred these nights. Most of the crime was kept to the shadows it made it easier for him.
“Batman,we’ve got a problem,”Oracle’s voice filled his coms. “Fill me in.” He jumped off the building and glided north of his location.
——
A man walks outside of the Stacked Deck Bar, and takes a puff from his cigarette. He walks into the alleyway and takes a swig of his flask.
He rounds the corner to see a shadow figure standing before him.
“It’s the freakin’ bat,” he takes out his pistol but it’s knocked out of his grips my a WingDing. The next thing he knows he’s thrown against a nearby dumpster.
“You murderer.” Nightwing snarled at the man before his feet. He kicked him in the stomach, then picked him up and flung him to the other side of the alley.
“L-look I’m sorry about you friend—it’s wasn’t personal.” He’s met with a powerful shock to the gut.
“AHHH-pplease.”
“That’s enough, honey,”A thin cloud of pink and gold mist surrounded the two men, Y/n emerged be held by tree branches pink petals. “It’s good to see you,Nolan wasn’t it. however, the last time we meet you killed me along with your friends.” Y/n grinned. He sported a new pale green skin tone now, his normal (E/C) eyes were a deep emerald. Leaves and vines woven together to map pants and some wrapped around his forearms and torso.
He lowered himself and walked over to Nightwing placing a hand on his emblem. “You know I should really thing you, you allowed me to be a better version of myself,”
“You’re welcome-“Nightwing kicked him in the gut again.
Y/n crossed his arms across his chest. “Though I could have done without the new color. No matter it’s time you answer my questions.” He waved his hand and Nightwing backed away from the goon. Y/n crouched down and blow from his palm, more of the same pink dust engulfed him squared in the face and almost immediately his grimace morphed into a blank stare.
“Now what I want to know two things. What is the name of the scientist that gave you the order to kill me, and last where is Poison Ivy?”
———
The Batmobile came to a screeching haunt behind several police cruisers. He leaped out and walked past the small crowd held back by officers.
A officer lifted a yellow tape and he entered the crime scene. Gordon stood a foot away from two white sheets, Spoiler and Red Robin stood at the bodies scanning them before joining Batman and the Commissioner.
“They two of the best people on the force,” Gordon puffed after taking a drag from his Pipe.
“Any leads?” Batman turned to the two heroes. Red Robin hand him a zip lock bag with several deep green leaves.
“Posion Ivy, she’s been quiet.” Spoiler folded her arms.
Batman walked past them and removed the sheets to observe the bodies. It’s definitely something Ivy could have done but Batman isn’t so sure. He knows that’s she’s been MIA for months.
He rises his head and looks straight ahead. “Gotham Cemetery.” He mumbles. He stands up and walks towards it.
“Is he himself?” Gordon turns to the two who shrug.
Batman enters the cemetery and walks past the stone statues. He moves like a black phantom through out the grounds until he stops in front of what was supposed to be a fresh grave. Red Robin and Spoiler approach and stop themselves.
“What happened?” She questions. Vines and purple flowers grown from the grave and have consumed it. The casket is in the heart of the greenery and is split open. And no body inside.
Batman turned to the two, before worry took over his masked features. “Has anyone spoke to Nightwing tonight?”
“Not since the afternoon, he said he was patrolling the East End tonight.” Red Robin replied.
“You think Y/n did this?” Spoiler looked back at the grave and back to Batman who was practically running towards the entrance.
“Alfred I need to find Nightwing he’s not answering his com links.” The Batmobile came to a roaring stop at the cemetery gates and Batman hopped inside before racing down the street.
“I’m afraid I haven’t been able to locate him Sir. His tracker when down two hours ago.” He sighed.
Batman gripped the steering wheel.”Any last know location.”
“Allow me to check,”Alfred typed a few keys before giving him the last location,”Robinson Park Sir, the Botanical Gardens.” The Batmobile raced and roar onto Pioneer Bridge towards the other part of the city.
——
One man stumbles and falls down a few stairs and coughs. As he runs down a hallway into a warehouse.
“Please have Mercy!” He cries as he ducks behind a crate.
“Mercy,I’ll show you mercy.” A voice boomed in the dark room. The man cowered in fear before he flew back from his hiding spot and was carried up fifty feet in the air. He was wrapped in an oversized vine and was being constrained.
Y/n moved into his view ontop of an another vine and smirked. He had his arm resting on his knee and leaned forward towards the man’s face.
“So sad isn’t it. We take for granted the gifts Mother Nature can offer us,” he plucks a maroon flower from his vine that looks between a cross of a tulip and rose. He twirled the flower and looked back at the man. Before smirking.
“So tell me Wilson, where can I find the scientist?” Before the man could reply Y/n blow on the flower and black particles landed on his face. He started to cough and scream in pain.
“He’s meeting the Boss I don’t know who but he’s meeting him Chinatown. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!” He screamed in terror before a massive coughing fit and his limbs go limp.
Y/n lowers himself down and allows the vines to drop the body with a loud crack. Nightwing stood a few feet from where the man landed. He stare at him for a while before Y/n came into his view.
“Where are we going?” Y/n placed a kiss to his cheek. Y/n took his leave with Dick in tow.
“To make one more stop.”
——
Batman crashed through the same skyline Nightwing had to find the place abandoned. He took a look around with a flashlight.
He came to a makeshift bed and found the same leaves Red Robin gave him.
He turned on his scanner and turned the leave over. “Alfred identify and breakdown these leaves basic components.”
“Right away Sir. These two leaves have the same trace amount of pheromones. The scanners indicate they are of a stronger concentration. The combination is similar to the lab where Nightwing and is team were a few nights ago.”
Batman turned and looked at the ground. He found a WingDing and a remnant of a sleep dart. The same Nightwing gauntlet. “Nightwing must of found Y/n and tried to stop him.”
Alfred hummed, “Do you think he killed Master Richard.”
Batman kneeled down a traced his finger to find them covered in a green dust. “Unlikely, what happened to him he still cares for Dick.” He stood up and grappled out of the greenhouse. He glides down to the street and gets back into the Batmobile.
“The attack on Y/n in the lab must of caused a biological shock and rewrite his DNA the same way it did Ivy. But what I can figure out is what’s motivate?” He began to drive before another call rang.
“It’s Ms Gordon I’ll patch her through.” Soon the ringing stopped and Barbara’s voice filled the car.
“Batman we found two bodies.”
“Where?”
“One at the Stacked Deck an hour ago Red Hood is on the scene with Bullock. And another at a warehouse at Dixon Docks,Batgirl is there with Robin now.”
“My word, Sir my analysis is completed. There is another drug mixed in that was scanned at the fire. It’s a drug called Tomgenalixe. It’s a substance used in modern day Hallucinogens and can be used to create mind altering effects.”
“Mind Control.” Batman and Oracle reply.
“So Y/n isn’t just killing people for fun, he’s been controlled too.” Oracle took a deep sigh.
Batman gripped the steering wheel.”We need to find them. Alfred can you track Y/n’s pheromones?”
Alfred typed at the Batcomputer. “Sir his tracking is leading to the Diamond District.”
Batman raced back towards the highway. “Oracle take the components of the drugs and chemicals and synthesize and antitoxin. Have someone bring it to me. Alfred, have Red Robin and Spoiler meet me at my location.”
“Working on it, I’ll have Red Hood and Batgirl pick up the antioxins as soon as it ready.” Oracle signed off.
“Sir, when you arrive what will you do?”
Batman didn’t answer as thunder crashed across the night sky.
“I’m going to save them.”
———-
“Where’s my cut?” The scientist hissed at the man in a chair turned away from him.
The man chuckled. “Your cut, you were supposed to bring me a new drug. You burned your research. I can’t get any of that funding back, and now Lex Luthor has questions about fire you caused.” The man stood before as Black Man rises from his seat and the scientist cowers.
“I’m—“ SMACK
“You little runt, you work for me and you’ll get paid when the fuck I say so.” He snarled. He grabbed a wad of cash from his pocket and threw it at him.
“Now get back and figure out the poison, you still have the plant woman in holding?”
“Yes, she’s secure downstairs.” He took the cash. But before he could leave he was kicked square in the jaw and crumbled to the floor.
Black Mask turns to see Nightwing giving his a death stare. “What brings you here?”
The doors burst open with three of his goons with green glowing eyes and Y/n strolling behind them.
“I’m here for a little payback.” Y/n smirked. He outstretched his arm and vines bursts from the floor and tied up Black Mask.
“You crazy bitch I’ll kill you.” Y/n yawned. “Boys take care of him,” he turned to the scientist. “I think you have someone who doesn’t belong to you, don’t worry I’ll kill you when this over just like I did you henchmen.”
“Boss!” The large man who had did most of the damage to Y/n emerged through another door. Nightwing sprang into action and brutal fought him. It didn’t take long before he hit the ground hard.
Y/n crossed the room and stood over the dazed man.
“Remember it’s nothing personal.” Y/n dropped seeds into his gapped open mouth and vines and flower rapidly grew from his mouth and stomach.
“That’s sick.” Black Mask gagged before getting punch by Nightwing.
Y/n nodded and then two armed guards took Black Mask away. The other waiting for them and Nightwing grabbed the Scientist.
“Let’s go.” He barked. Y/n and the other guard followed him. The arrived in a basement that was like a huge underground bunker.
They ventured until the came to a catwalk and bellow was a cell in center with Ivy unconscious.
“Well it seems you’ve severed your purpose.” Y/n turned to the man that uttered the order to kill him and before he could grab him a Batarang nearly took his hand off.
Batman leaped down and glared at the group.”That’s enough, you’ve taken to many lives tonight I won’t let you take more Y/n. This isn’t you.”
Y/n pursed his lips and brief a chuckle. “What do you know about Y/n?” Batman eyed down below and saw Ivy talking almost as a puppet.
“Ivy, you’ve been controlling him from the start.”
Ivy/Y/n chuckled. “I can’t take all the credit you seen when they turned Y/n into this new and improved version of himself. We form a connection, and the more his powers grew—“
“The greater your control became.” Batman finished. Ivy chuckled in her cell.
“He makes a fine successor, does need some weeding but no matter he’ll do fine to kill you.” Y/n caused two large vines to sprout beside Batman who leaped down and landed on his feet. He cartwheel out the way of a shock from Nightwing.
“I know you can hear me, don’t make me have to put down.” Nightwing smirked,”Come and try.” He lunged at Batman and the two attacked and blocked each others moves.
Red Robin and Spoiler crashed the room and took out the guard and Spoiler went after Y/n to jumped onto a moving vine.
“Y/n snap out of it you’re still in there.” She pleaded. Y/n formed another overgrown plant to seat her away like fly. He caused a giant Venus Flytrap to sprout and it held him in place.
“This will be your tomb.” He laughed wickedly.
——
Black Mask stood ontop of the building with rifles at his head.
“Jump.” One order. He moved his leg out to jump before he heard gunfire and the sounds of punches. He nervously turned to see Red Hood and Batgirl.
“I’m saved—“ he was lassoed by Batgirl who tied him to a pipe. Before following Red Hood into the building.
“Hell let me Go!”
—-
Nightwing kicked Batman in the chest sending him stumbling.
Red Robin back flipped out the way of a vine nearly crushing him.
“Give up.” Ivy hissed.
Red Hood and Batgirl arrived. Batgirl grabbed a vine and began to run up it to Y/n and Red Hood leaped down and fired a few rounds at Nightwing which distracted him long enough for Batman to land a punch.
He stagger and when to fight him some more giving Red Hood the chance to fire a dart the hit Nightwing in the neck. He growled before he slowly turned and fell into Batman’s arms going limp.
Batgirl managed to get a clear shot and injected Y/n with large dose. He felt tired fell onto the catwalk, Red Robin check on him before injecting an orange liquid into Y/n arm.
“This will break the connection to Ivy.”
Ivy screamed in pain like a part of her had been stabbed. “You’re going to Arkham.” Batman stood before her and she was about to shout before green mist filled her cell and she collapsed.
“Hey Oracle whip up something for her too.” Batgirl chimed in.
Batman grinned and turned to Nightwing and sighed.
———-
Y/n felt like everything that happened was a fever dream. Killing them men that assaulted him, rising from the dead like an uprooted carrot and his finale fight with the Batfamily.
He sat up with an instant migraine. He rubbed his temples from the bright lights and turned to the side to see a shadow.
“Where am I?” His voice was hoarse and scratchy.
“You’re in Arkham.” Batman sighed and came into the light of the cell.
Y/n took in his surroundings and it was in a cell in Arkham. He was also in hospital gown with a collar around his neck.
“So I’m in jail?” He raised a brow the Dark Knight. Batman took a stance at the foot of the bed.
“Not exactly, what do you remember?” His voice was full of concern and worry. Not the same voice typical of Batman.
Y/n rubbed his temples for a brief movement. “I remember the taxi driver…I vaguely remember two officers and then everything went black. Did I hurt them?”
“They’re dead. Poison Ivy took control over your mind after you transition into a meta-human.”
Y/n felt all the air suck of his lungs. “You’re here because I know you’ll be under careful observation,” he lifted his gaze to the ceiling and Y/n followed. Vents were overhead them.
“This cell is constantly being pumped with an antitoxin that helps with the more advanced powers. It won’t rid them completely but you’ll be in control.” He walked closer to the doors.
“You should be in for a few more days, once that finished I’ll come get you myself. Gordon has already dropped any charges and no one knows Y/n L/N was the new Poison Ivy.”
“Did I hurt him?”
“I don’t know what your—“
“Damnit yes you do. I know I didn’t just kill two people. I hope I can..live with that. But did I hurt him?” Tears formed in the young man’s eyes and streamed down his face.
“No.” Batman whispered.
“Oh.” He wiped his face. “Can I see him?”
“I can’t allow that, you didn’t hurt him but Ivy used your feelings for him to make into your mind-controlled bodyguard. You killed people Y/n…He’s still recovering in the cave. Y/n it may be best to give it time.” Batman exited the cell where Gordon was waiting and the two walked away into the Asylum.
Everything began to flash before Y/n and he flopped back on the uncomfortable cot. Before sleep took him back and he dozed off.

A spell goes terribly wrong and Sephiroth is reverted to a toddler. What goes down and how do AGZC react? (Thank you for all your headcannons btw, they are wonderful!! ♥)
Accidental Toddler Sephiroth Acquisition
• Zack heads over to the materia room on the 49th floor to drop off some naturally formed materia he had found on a mission he just got back from. He sits around waiting for one of the scientists to assist him.
• He spots a basket of bright green materia orbs, mindlessly picks one up and starts playing with it. Then he's informed by one of the techs that the scientist responsible will only be in the office tomorrow. Zack forgets the materia isn't his and pocket it as he thanks the tech and leaves.
• Zack heads over to Sephiroth's office because he's bored and wants to see his buddy. He opens Sephiroth's office door. He is greeted by Sephiroth. Uh oh the materia is burning in his pocket. UH OH IT'S BURNING IN HIS POCKET.
• He takes the materia out and panic-drops it on the ground. He watches Sephiroth stand up and walk over to the materia to see if he can deescalate the situation.
• The materia explodes.
• And suddenly he's standing before three-year-old Sephiroth who looks very scared and confused.
• Cloud comes to Sephiroth's office after Zack had called him freaking out. Zack called Cloud first because Cloud is notoriously level-headed and won't yell at Zack for his mistake.
Zack: Thank god you're here! I don't know—
Cloud: WHY WOULD TURN SEPHIROTH INTO A TODDLER?
Zack: I MADE A MISTAKE.
Cloud: NO, MRS. FAIR MADE A MISTAKE WHEN SHE GAVE BIRTH TO YOU.
Zack: .......
*The yelling upsets Sephiroth, who buries his head in his hands and starts crying*
Cloud: Oh no! I didn't mean to scare you. Come here—*Cloud picks him up, immediately Sephiroth buries his head in Cloud's neck as he consoles him by bouncing him up and down*
Cloud: Wow so he really reverted back into a toddler.
Zack: Yup! And the worst part is *Zack picks up the broken materia* I have NO idea how to fix this!
*Sephiroth stops crying and gazes up curiously at Cloud's hair*
Cloud: Why don't you go back to the materia room and get help?
*Sephiroth reaches up and touches Cloud's hair*
Zack: Are you kidding me? I'd be in so much trouble! The best thing to to right now is find Genesis and Angeal. Genesis will know how to turn him back and Angeal will know how to care for him in the meanwhile.
Cloud: That sounds like a good idea. Are you up for it, Sephiroth?
Sephiroth: A chocobo!
Cloud: .........
Tumblr media
• Zack and Cloud run into the elevator en route to Angeal's apartment (where hopefully Genesis will also be). Unfortunately they run into Director Lazard.
Lazard: .......
Zack (to Cloud): Maybe if we don't mention the child he won't ask about the child.
Lazard: I'm inquiring about the child.
Cloud: There's a perfectly good explanation for this. Right, Zack?
*Zack wraps an arm around Cloud's back*
Zack: We got married and this is our child.
Cloud: WHAT?
Lazard: Why does the child look like Sephiroth?
Cloud: There's a perfectly good explanation for that. Right, Zack?
Zack: Sephiroth was our sperm donor.
• Zack, Cloud and Sephiroth stand there awkwardly as Lazard retrieves a small pill bottle from his breast pocket and downs it with a liquor flask.
Tumblr media
*Zack and Cloud bang on Angeal's door until it opens and Genesis greets them*
Genesis: How wonderful. You have a child!
Zack: We can explain—
Genesis: There's no need. I already know what this is.
Cloud: You do?
Genesis: Of course. You two had been in love all along, and then you went ahead, tied the knot, and thought it was a brilliant idea to ask Sephiroth to spare his sperm to create a child that looks exactly like him.
Cloud: Am I the only reasonable person around here??
Genesis: Either that or Zack accidentally turned Sephiroth into a toddler by misuse of materia.
Zack: Yes.
Genesis: Oh sweet goddess we're all going to be arrested.
• After explaining the whole thing thoroughly to Genesis and Angeal—who spends a good 10 minutes after yelling at him (while Genesis pulls Sephiroth's hair into a french braid), they inspect the broken materia.
• According to Genesis the spell can't be permanent, which means they should wait out Sephiroth's transformation until further notice.
*Cloud turns to Zack*
Cloud: You know what this means, right?
Zack: Yeah, it means we gotta take care of Sephiroth and make sure Hojo doesn't find out about his transformation.
Cloud: No, you asshole, it means that we just became parents and you never even asked me out for a date, much less put a ring on my finger.
Zack:
Genesis, with Miniroth in his lap, who's playing with his earring: Now hang on, Angeal and I are older, and he's to stay in Angeal's apartment while he waits out the spell. This clearly means that Angeal and I are his parents.
Angeal: You don't even like children!
Genesis: How wrong you are. I rather enjoy the presence of certain—ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow take him take him TAKE HIM.
*Sephiroth is pulling on Genesis' earring*
*Zack grabs Sephiroth back*
Zack: How dare you?? Me and Cloud are his parents! You and Angeal can be his uncles.
Cloud: If anything Angeal is the mom friend, so he can be the mother.
Angeal: Don't be ridiculous.
*Sephiroth perks up at the mention of mother and looks at Angeal*
Sephiroth: Mama?
*Angeal breaks down crying, takes Sephiroth and runs off*
Tumblr media
• They're all giving Miniroth a bath. Sephiroth initially protests, but Angeal's soothing voice and gentle demeanor quickly put him at ease. Zack and Genesis are using plastic cups as a makeshift boats, and battling each other's ships with overexaggerated noises to make Sephiroth laugh.
• Cloud distracts Sephiroth by blowing bath bubbles and popping them. This makes Sephiroth giggle uncontrollably and attempt to make bubbles too.
• This results in Sephiroth splashing water at all of them and making a mess. No one can be mad because he looks so happy, and it's doubtful he was ever allowed to merge bath time and playtime in the labs under Hojo's "care"
• Then they feed him, another joint-effort as everyone thinks they know what's good for Sephiroth. Genesis cuts up Banora White apples into small, manageable pieces. He erupts in praises and cheer when Sephiroth manages to eat half the apple.
• Zack feeds him chips, but is a bad influence, and teaches Miniroth to blow the chip bag up and pop it. This of course results in chips flying everywhere and now Zack is stuck with a broom, cleaning it all up.
• Cloud offers him some milk (fun silly-straw included). Sephiroth accidentally knocks the cup over and spills it all over the table. He starts crying and apologizing, expecting them to scold him for the mistake.
• They absolutely don't do that. Angeal picks him up and console him while Zack and Cloud wipe up the mess. Sephiroth tearfully explains in his broken toddler speech that Professor Hojo always gets very mad and punishes him when he makes a mistake.
They have to physically hold Genesis down because he's all but ready to go down to the labs and kill Hojo, which is tempting, yes, but it would alert R&D of Sephiroth's transformation.
• They move on to playtime next in hopes it'll tire Sephiroth out enough to be put down for a nap. Imagine they're shock once they realize little Sephiroth doesn't have a lot of experience when it comes to playing with toys.
• He doesn't know what to do with the lego pieces Zack provided him with (which is good, in Angeal's opinion, because a three-year-old could definitely choke on them)
• Genesis coaxes Sephiroth into playing with a toy sword. It both amuses and pains him to realize how comfortable toddler Sephiroth feels with a weapon, as he's now play fighting with him and Cloud.
• Angeal finds a coloring book and crayons. He finds it very unnatural how Sephiroth tries his best to color inside the lines and doesn't make any mistakes. He chalks it up as another product of Hojo's ruthless "parenting" and encourages Sephiroth to scribble.
• Sephiroth learns that he loves to scribble.
• Sephiroth now wants to scribble everything in sight.
• Sephiroth spots Genesis' copy of Loveless.
• Genesis will have an unpleasant surprise later.
Tumblr media
• They finally put Sephiroth down for bed. Zack had ran all the way back to his place in search of every stuffed animal he could find—which just so happened to be 4 stuffed chocobos.
*Sephiroth looks at the stuffed chocobo*
Cloud:
*Sephiroth looks at Cloud*

Cloud: AlriGHT I GET IT.
• Sephiroth falls asleep in Angeal's bed under a heap of blankets as Genesis reads him a bedtime story. As everyone else files out of the room, Zack decides to stay back and watch over him in case he wakes up.
• Everyone's perspective shifts after this incident.
Genesis: He had always nursed an unspoken envy for Sephiroth, but it wasn't until he saw a child denied their innocence and so not used to being carefree, all in the relentless pursuit of an untouchable hero status, that he truly understood the depth of Sephiroth's troubled childhood. Genesis vows to both show more understanding and affection towards his best friend, and maim Hojo.
Angeal: Seeing Sephiroth's vulnerability as a child tugs at Angeal's heartstrings, not because he's clearly traumatized, but because he can identify traces of child Sephiroth in adult Sephiroth, remnants of a childhood he never had. He sees this realization as an opportunity to make up for lost time and provide the love and support Sephiroth never received when he was a toddler.
Zack & Cloud: They had long idolized Sephiroth as a hero, but now, having gained a deeper understanding into the struggles he endured to become that hero, they develop a newfound respect and empathy for him.

*Lazard corners Zack and Cloud on the SOLDIER floor*
Lazard: I finally understand what happened. That child wasn't yours, it was Sephiroth who turned into a toddler after you undoubtedly cast a spell on him.
Zack: Argh! You got us. But you're wrong about one thing, though.
Lazard: What?
Cloud: The child, was in fact, ours. But we officially handed custody over to Angeal and Genesis this morning.
*Just then Angeal and Genesis walk by. Angeal is carrying fully grown and back to normal Sephiroth in his arms, while Genesis trails behind them, feeding Sephiroth apple sauce*
Sephiroth: For the last time, there's no need for this. While I understand that you needed to care for my toddler form to ensure my safety, I'm fully capable of taking care of myself now.
Genesis: Here comes the airplane! Say 'ah'
Sephiroth: Ahhh

This might be a little of a challenge since you've never written for him but! I wanted to request some Lifeweaver x reader where he keeps receiving flowers everyday from a secret admirer and one day he caughts reader leaving them?
Challenging or not, I love writing for a character that I haven't written a full fic for! Thank you so much for requesting!

Lifeweaver x Reader (gen)
Word count: 1333
Niran would spend his days cooped up inside of his lab or in his room, mind focussing on his biophysics and natural sciences. His schedule was always packed with researching, experiments that worked and failed, though despite the setbacks he experienced, he was determined to fulfil his duties at bringing natural order back to the world.
His days at the lab were long, nights were short in his room. He kept to his schedule, not wanting to deviate from it at any point. One wrong step and it throws him off balance. Stick to the routine and the research will turn fruitful, everything would blossom into something truly beautiful.
As he worked, there was no room for distraction. Everyone knew to leave him be, not disturbing him at any point to avoid the groans and dissatisfaction that Niran would spew. He gained a reputation, though the scientist never faltered despite the hateful words that were whispered throughout the building.
Not everyone hated him though. He had his admirers, much like anyone would. Newbies coming and going would offer their praise and thanks before Niran shut himself inside again. Their words rang on deaf ears most days, but he was thankful nonetheless.
There was one anomaly that he couldn’t quite place, however. It wasn’t a matter of his research, no, everything was going the way he had hoped; but the one anomaly was the presence of flowers appearing in his lab. Neatly placed on his desk, whether it be on his current project, the stack of papers to the side, or resting neatly in a small test tube. Each day there was a new flower, from buds to blooms, each one unique in their own way.
He would study the flower for a moment or two before putting it to one side until eventually he had a small bouquet of flowers sitting beside his window in a small glass flask - a temporary accommodation before he found a suitable vase.
The flowers would appear each day before his arrival in the morning, yet no matter how early he seemed to get there, he never once found anyone leaving the room. Maybe it was after he left? He did the same thing, waited until he could no longer stay in the lab but nobody came. They had to be someone within the facility. Niran couldn’t for the life of him find or even figure out who this person was.
But you knew because it was you who was leaving them. For months now you had admired Niran, the way he worked, his friendly nature when he wasn’t working, but you were just another person, someone who he wouldn’t pass a second glance at. You weren’t like him, just a student who studied under another scientist.
Maybe leaving those flowers was a little strange. Some would probably consider it stalkerish behaviour, but what could you do? He wouldn’t speak to you if he was busy and every chance you had was always taken by someone else who just happened to need something at the same time.
Seeing him in the lunch hall, wanting to have just one moment only for someone else to grab him and he leaves. Another chance lost. Seeing him in the hallway, wanting to call out to him but he quickly ducks into his room before anyone even has a chance to say hello.
Niran was probably an obsession for you at this point, but you didn’t want to seem like the crazy person. So, you settle on the next best thing. He liked flowers and what’s not to love about receiving them, especially anonymously.
While he knew he had admirers, but this feeling was something else for him. It made him feel warm inside. He wasn’t angry that someone was coming and going from his lab because he knew where everything was place. Nothing was out of place, only a flower appearing on his workspace.
Each day that he sauntered into his lab he wondered what flower was waiting for him. A lily. A rose. Wisteria or lotus. Bluebell or snowdrop, daffodil or tulips. Each were added to the flask or laid gently next to it, his windowsill slowly being overrun by this persons flowers.
And each day that you would return, you would see them all neatly arranged, the moon barely illuminating them before you had to leave. Working late had its perks, you figured out. While many scientists finished early, Niran being one of them, you could wander the halls without any questioning. ‘Just delivering reports’, you’d say, hand holding a stack of papers which only served to hide the flower you had recently acquired.
Nirans lab lights were always switched off, the indication that he wasn’t there, the cue to leave your flower and get out of there before anyone notices…
Though tonight was different…
Everything was going as it normally was; Niran had left for the night and you were out ‘delivering reports’ to the other scientists. You made your way to his lab, the first thing on your agenda. His door opened with ease - you wondered why he never locked it each time it opened.
You were quiet on your feet, manoeuvring around the space with no effort as your eyes glance upon the growing selection by his window. It made your heart beat just that little bit faster knowing that he had been keeping them and not throwing them away.
Tonights flower was another lotus, one that was pale pink and white. A little smaller than the previous one, but still magnificent in it’s own way. You place it down beside the stack of papers before backing away. You take two steps back before turning around, heading back towards the door.
A blurred figure stands opposite the door before it opens and you don’t even get chance to hide before the door exposes you. Like a deer in headlights, you stand there and stare at the taller man, colour draining from your face as your body shakes and heart begins to race.
He doesn’t say a word but peers behind you, a smug smile appearing on his face.
“Ah, the lotus. A symbol of purity and strength. How kind.” He finally breaks that silence, walking past you. “You really shouldn’t be sneaking around in other peoples laboratories.”
You go to speak but the lump in your throat stops you. The panic and shame were rising.
“Please, I’m not mad. I’m glad to finally know who has been leaving me such wonderful gifts.” He smiles at you as he swings his bag over his shoulder. “Come, I’m sure you have an explanation as to why you’re doing this.”
You sheepishly nod as Niran escorts you out of his room.
“I suppose I was in luck I had forgotten my bag. It has been such a stressful day.” He speaks as if he didn’t just catch an intruder. “It’s nice to put a face to the admirer.”
The comment makes your cheeks flush. You finally manage to find the words to speak to him, explaining to him the reasoning behind your actions.
Niran chuckles, his chest feeling warmer as he looks down at you. Cute.
“Perhaps you would like to get coffee sometime?” He asks, which catches you completely off guard. “There’s this really nice cafe not far from here that serves the perfect blends. They also had tea, if coffee isn’t to your liking.”
When you accept his offer, the flush burning hotter, his smile grows bigger.
He winks, tone more playful than serious. “Perfect! I look forward to finally getting to know my secret florist.”
You stand there dumbfounded for a moment before walking back through the halls. You had just scored a coffee date with the best biophysicists in the country. Could life get any more exciting? The smile that embraces your face didn’t seem to let up for hours. Who’d have thought that you of all people get to be that close to him…

MWEHEHEH I'M BACK FROM MY SMALL HIATUS AND I'VE COME BACK WITH ANOTHER DW OC!!! Meet Falaska the round-bottom flask toon! He's the (non-bio) dad to Umbra, my other DW oc! While he isn't exactly the best dad, he does try his very best! He's also not the best scientist, but he does his best and does get results! I might redo his safety goggles because I rushed them out, but we'll see about that. His Twisted has yet to be drawn, but when I finish it, I'll be posting it with Umbra's Twisted (and with their hurt face, bc I forgot it in the main ref).
Small fun fact, he and Rodger have some conflicting interests... ;3

Chapter 7: A New Face
(y/n) followed the guards through a maze of corridors, her heart racing with every step. The unfamiliar surroundings felt both intimidating and intriguing, filled with the promise of the unknown. Each turn seemed to lead her deeper into a world she didn’t quite understand but was desperate to navigate.
The guards finally halted at a door, their expressionless faces betraying nothing. They opened it and gestured for her to enter. Taking a tentative step inside, (y/n) was greeted by a room that was a stark contrast to the cold, metallic cell she had just left. The walls were painted in soft earth tones, and the warm glow of bioluminescent plants provided a comforting ambiance. A large window offered a breathtaking view of the Pandora landscape, filled with towering trees and vibrant flora that pulsed with life.
As she stepped further into the room, a small table caught her eye, laden with fresh fruits and a flask of water. A cozy cot nestled in the corner looked inviting, and for a moment, (y/n) allowed herself to hope that maybe, just maybe, she could feel safe here.
Just as she was starting to absorb her new surroundings, there was a gentle knock at the door. It swung open to reveal a man with kind eyes and a warm smile.
“Hey there,” he said gently, stepping inside. “I hope I’m not intruding. I just wanted to check in on you.”
“Um, hi,” (y/n) replied, still a bit taken aback. “Who are you?”
“Sorry, where are my manners?” The man chuckled lightly, extending his hand. “I’m Norm Spellman, one of the scientists here.”
“Nice to meet you, Norm,” (y/n) said, shaking his hand cautiously. “I’m (y/n).”
Norm smiled warmly, his eyes reflecting genuine kindness. “Nice to meet you, (y/n). I hope you’re settling in okay. It’s a lot to take in, I know.”
“Yeah, it is,” she replied, glancing around the room. “This place is… beautiful. It feels so different from where I was.”
“I’m glad you like it,” Norm said, stepping further into the room. “We’ve tried to make it as comfortable as possible. You’ve been through a lot, and it’s important to us that you feel safe here.”
(y/n) nodded, her gaze drifting back to the window, where the vibrant hues of Pandora’s flora danced in the gentle breeze.
“If you need anything just knock” he said before leaving the room.
(y/n) watched as Norm left, the door clicking softly behind him. She turned back to the window, drawn to the breathtaking vista outside.
As Norm passed the corridor he was unaware of certain eyes watching him.
Outside, the sun dipped low in the sky, casting golden rays across the river that wound through the lush landscape of Pandora. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and blooming flowers, and the distant sounds of wildlife created a soothing backdrop. Loak stood at the riverbank, tossing small stones into the water as he watched the ripples expand.
“Hey, Loak!” a familiar voice called out, pulling him from his thoughts. He turned to see Spider approaching, his frame moving with a relaxed confidence.
“Hey, Spider,” Loak replied, leaning back against a large rock. “What’s up?”
Spider glanced around, ensuring no one was eavesdropping, before lowering his voice. “You won’t believe what I just saw. Some guards were escorting a new person into the compound.
Loak’s ears perked up, and he straightened from his slouched position. “A new person? What do you mean?”
Spider squatted beside him, picking up a stone and tossing it into the river. “Yeah, some girl. I haven’t seen her before. she was definitely not one of us. I’m telling you, it was weird.”
Loak frowned, his thoughts immediately drifting to his parents’ strange behavior. “Do you know where they took her?” he asked, his voice low.
Spider shrugged, brushing some dirt off his hands. “I saw them taking her to one of the private quarters. She wasn’t in a cell or anything, though. Looked more like they were trying to keep her out of sight.”
Loak’s brows furrowed. “Out of sight, huh?” His mind raced.
Spider looked at him, his eyes glinting with curiosity. “You think she’s trouble?”
“I don’t know,” Loak muttered. “But I don’t like how everyone’s been acting lately. My parents… they’re hiding something, and I think this has to do with it.”
Spider leaned in, a sly grin spreading across his face. “So… what do we do? Sneak around? Find out who this mystery girl is?”
Loak smirked, feeling a rush of adrenaline at the prospect. “You know it.”
They shared a look of understanding—this wasn’t the first time they’d snuck around to uncover secrets. But this felt different, more serious. Loak could feel it deep in his gut.
“Tomorrow” Loak whispered. “We find out what’s going on.”
The two of them sat by the river a little longer, the sun sinking lower until the sky was painted with streaks of purple and pink. The tension between them simmered, both of them knowing that once they set out, there would be no turning back.

six long years:
leon sighed miserably after taking a long drink of his flask. another damn mission where he is having to deal with bullshit. but something was... different. he saw you. it's not like he has a crush on you, but it was... strange. six years ago he saw you in spain when he saw you and luis. you were an amazing scientist from umbrella who was saved by ada. leon knew you were going to choose ada because if he brought you with him.
you would be stuck in his hell. forced to do goodness knows.
you were speaking with ada in small mutters. you two were planning something. leon slowly approached the two of you, and ada smiled at Leon, "what are you doing handsome?" she teased. leon looked at you, "i'm sorry for not saving luis." he whispered.
you looked down at your feet, "it's been a while," you forced a smile, "it wasn't your fault."
but it certainly felt like it.

Taliesin is now holding his newborn baby between his arms and Mohito is next to him, Kampari and Rick totally succeeded this time but Eyre is having a few toughs on the baby suddenly dying after few seconds, minutes, hours or days.. Nobody knows
So, I overdid it. I was only supposed to answer about the hug, but it was like a fanfic.
English is not my first language!
Warning: lots of character OOC, crossovers, "crack relationships", discussion of genetic material and the presence of embryos, mention of death, attempts to kill a hybrid embryo for a scene or two, space angels and their effect on the environment
——— This evening ceases to be fun.
Moments earlier, Talsien was having fun and joking around with his angelic husband, but some short minutes later, the scientists of universe 3 appear in front of them and drag them to their lab, hastily showing them upon arrival....small creature? Talsien, blinking from the colored spots after teleporting, takes a better look, but he doesn't understand what it is. The creature, apparently not fully formed, is floating in some sort of transparent solution in a special huge equipped fixture with multicolored cables flashing around it.
- "It's a baby!" - Bulma chirped happily, looking extremely pleased with herself for the successful experiment, and looking at Mojito and Talsien for praise.
- "It's your baby” - Rick said with clinical indifference, belching loudly to the side without getting into a detailed explanation of what was going on.  He looked like genetic engineering and clone creation was nothing to him.
The elf blinks in confusion, a second later belatedly shifting his gaze to an equally lost Mojito. They both don't understand what's going on or WHERE this child came from, because mating them with a pregnancy was not an option.
- "We collected your genetic materials, and attempted to create your shared child”, -Camparri obligingly prompts, as if amused by the scene unfolding before his. - "Unfortunately, there were several failed attempts...."
- "Wait!", -Talsien is the first to come to his senses, shaking his hands as if trying to remove the tension from them. - "Are you saying that this creature, floating in a strange liquid, is a small homunculus, a future child?"
The scientists nod, Talsien sighs fearfully, and looks at Mojito again for support. But Mojito doesn't answer, staring blankly dumbfounded at this little experiment. Normally, Angels have to think fast to make a decision favorable to their god, but right now there's no Hakaishin around for Mojito to explain anything to. It's Mojito himself who needs clues to what's going on right now
Talsien touches Mojito's hand and the angel finally reacts, looking up at the elf. Mojito licks his lips, trying to hold them in place and not raise them up, baring his teeth.
- "What is the meaning of all this, Camparri? Creating offspring is only available to the Grand Priest"
- "So your father isn't the coolest at it. We wanted to create a hybrid, and we were able to do it!", - Rick laughs, sipping from his silver flask. - "We're waiting for this thing to fully form, do some more research, and when we're sure it won't die like past embryos, we'll give it to yous"
Talsien swallowed nervously, glancing at the incubator again. For some reason, the very existence of this thing has begun to freak him out, triggering a strange sense of unease before it, as if he's seen the cosmic form of Mojito so deeply lodged in his brain again, planting images of something creepy. Because, Talsien thinks, there's a difference between having a "kink to reproduce", and actually having offspring. And he's not sure he's even considered procreation at all. And even though these are genetic samples found and collected by someone else after sex, Talsien feels embarrassed and like he's being used for some dumb joke. There's a thought hovering on the edge of his mind that this is exactly how his former little toys feel, but he only brushes it off.
He hears a quiet " Mojito seems to like it!", looks at the source of the voice and back at the angel. Mojito has turned away from the scientists, looking at the incubator flask, lips parted in a smile, tail wagging behind his back and his head tilted in a studying gesture. Bulma takes it as an expression of happiness, Talsien knowing these micro expressions well, realizes that Mojito is on the verge of panic. And now, to top it all off, Angel's wolf ears are pressed against his head, his fingers on the staff beginning to tap on its surface. Mojito looks like a frightened wild animal.
Bulma shrieks as the test tubes next to her crack ringingly, she steps back fearfully. The space near Mojito shimmers, his humanoid sheath distorting for a second, almost disintegrating into mist before a smiling Camparri appears in front of him, blocking his view on of the homunculus, diverting attention to himself. Mojito growls indignantly but his brother doesn't back down; Talsien and the others crinkling their eyes away as the head in his temples begins to throb unpleasantly.
- "Oh, dear brother, calm down"
- "You allow your little friends too much, Kamparri. What will Father say about this?"
- "We won't tell, he won't know. Wouldn't you be interested to see what happens?"
- "You think you're a kaioshin?" - Mojito growls, his gaze falling to Eyre, who hides behind Rick fearfully, and back to Camparri. His brother only snorts.
- "No, just a little scientist wanting to do various shit. But you'd like to procreate if you could reproduce?"
Rick interrupts their conversation with a foul grunt: - "I'm pretty sure that if angels were free to reproduce, they'd be freely spreading their gene remnants everywhere. Or, well..."
- "Oh, if my main job was to come and bless mortals to procreate and leave puppies in them, rather than being an angelic conduit for the god of destruction, I might well be doing that," the words oozed with sarcasm and irony, interrupting a drunken Rick. - "But no, I don't think I've ever been interested in having children. Training chosen children to replace the old god of destruction, if there is no other choice in recruits for that role is not on this list."
- "Why didn't you...try it on your genetic materials?" - Talsien asks, inspecting the equipment.
Bulma and and Eyre hysterical laughter erupts in response, this dilutes the already tense atmosphere, causing Mojito to relax considerably as he watches them in surprise, his form gradually ceasing to club and reverting back to its normal state.
- "These two," Bulma points to Camparri and Rick, "were the first test subjects. You think you're the only ones they collected garbage from? They were so happy to collect their genetic materials!"
- "We tried many times, but the experiment died at different stages of planning, at the beginning, in the middle, even at the end. We tried to get to the point where we could form cells and a nucleus, but we could never get it to come together. Your materials have proven to be the most resilient so far," explains Camparri. Confident that his brother is not attacking the small creature, he steps back, but stays in the moment to defend himself.
- "Mojito",-Talsien, who has been pondering this topic for a long time, calls out to her husband. - "What if...What if we actually tried it? Would we have a family?"
- "You know kids are a responsibility? I know babies are loud and smelly. Plus we were shown a little creature, told it was our baby, and then hoped it could survive long enough? What were you all counting on?" - Mojito mooed unhappily.
Talsien sighs and snuggles up to the angel, his gaze occasionally dropping to the running equipment, Mojito leaning in when the man asks for it: "We could imagine you really did give me a puppy."
The way Mojito rolled his eyes and wrinkled his nose showed it was an unfortunate choice of words, but it seems the angel loves the elf too much, so he didn't dare deny his request to leave the little creature and see the result of the experiment.
- "Could I dream of it being the world's coolest boy?", - Talsien smiled flirtatiously.
- "We're not a toy store, asshole," - Eyre sighs.
--
When Mojito and Talsien arrive at the lab again, an already formed baby's body lies in the incubator. Their scientist friends are moving around the location, checking data, notes, electronics connections, and most importantly the baby's life status
They both slowly approach this little unusual thing lying quietly on a diaper under of dome
Eyre: I"'d advise you not to even breathe in his direction, but I'm too tired to fear that he could die at any moment. Readings indicate that the body is stable, and there's nothing wrong with his system. You can gently take him in your arms".
Talsien emits a sigh of surprised relief, looking over to her husband. As Rick opens the box, carefully pulling out the infant, Mojito sniffs, snorting at the smell of various medicines, Talsien extends her arms to take the little creature.
It is a baby. He holds a creature created from their genetic material, it is small, strange, warm and has weight in his hands. So...it.... it has bone and muscle structure, and internal body structure, because it's probably initially very difficult to take something from a blob of cosmic space…
Amidst the hum of the instruments working, the all too familiar sound of a teleportation vortex was heard and all noises fell silent. The first figure to emerge from the portal was Celestia, and she could have served as a shield between the lab and Daishinkan, but there was no smile of joy on her face, only displeasure. Daishinkan appears next to her, and a multitude of eyes open in the space around him, and a few on his face, as if he was partially controlling himself to keep his physical shell from shifting into the form of a space creature.
Eyes surveying the location, Bulma, oblivious, shakes her head from the pressure in the air, backs away, the angel's pupils catching her movement, stop on her, stop on the other members of the lab, and then all eyes are on the small child. The halo behind his head glows brighter, Daishinkan lets out a guttural growl and Mojito stands in front of Talsien and the child, literally challenging her father. Talsien cradles the child in his arms
As it begins to get colder and several test tubes are covered in frost, Ayr whimpers fearfully, exhaling a cloud of vapor, "Sir, please! Your anger is only making things worse, I wouldn't want anything to happen to the baby!", and huddles fearfully against the wall as Daishinkan glares at him
- "What made you think that was a good idea in the first place?" - Celestia hums, placing a hand on Daishinkan's shoulder reassuringly, and walking around the tables, approaching the reason for her appearance. The Grand Priest looks at her, grumbling quietly, but the temperature slowly drops and he walks, but on the other side. They are like two predators on the hunt, the others belatedly realizing that they are almost-then locked in the same room with the ancient gods.
- "Because we can do this" - Rick shouts.
Rick was itching to rub Daishinkhan's nose in it, to mess with him and start creating more angelic mutants, to show that he could be cooler than a god, but when he saw the tense look in the eyes of the silent Camparri, his fervor and adrenaline began to subside, realizing that he had read his drunken thoughts. It looked like he'd overdone it, but the idea was still tempting.
- "And it's definitely not up to you to be above divine and do weird experiments" - Answered Celestia, ignoring the protective Mojito, stepping closer and studying the child.
To Daishinkan, the existence of this creature is nothing more than a great anomaly. He is the one who controls the population of angels, creating them «when the time is right». At this point it is not known what this flesh child represents, it could cause trouble in the future, and...
- "Ah, perhaps I've jumped to conclusions? I don't like the way this baby appeared, but it looks cute enough", - Celestia purrs, catching Daishinkan's attention. - "And besides, from what I've heard, this baby could die at any moment due to its unstable components. Could we observe him? What do you think of that, Grand Priest?"
The many eyes surrounding Daishinkan blink stupidly, he makes a chirping sound at this moment of surprise: -"...what made you change your mind? Did your maternal instincts kick in?"
Celestia shrugs uncertainly:-"As I said, I am disgusted by this experiment, but I am not forbidden to be curious. Aren't you curious? To try and watch it once?"
- "If I give them a leniency, they'll keep using angels and breeding anomalies because they've learned how to do it" - Daishinkan pondered.
Celestia didn't hold Daishinkan's brain cells in her hands, but she realizes that if he had come here alone, he would have gotten rid of the problem without further conversation
And now she waited for the Grand Priest's decision, watching as the brightness of his halo gradually diminished, the eyes hovering around him fading away, and a few  remaining on his face.
- "Hmm. This child will remain the only artificially bred hybrid, I'm not going to let humans experiment with angelic materials" - Daishinkan gives a wave, allowing this experiment. The scientists exhale in relief, Bulma, who has survived the wrath of the divine beings, clings to the kaioshin's shoulder.
- "His life is still unstable, I'm afraid he could die at any moment. We've put so many resources into this, I've even shared my Ki with all the embryos" - The kaioshin speaks softly.
- "Yeah, I wonder why a child, that has a space angel, Which shouldn't have even a hint of DNA or anything like that in it,  in it as a second parent is so unstable that the experiment dies while still in the embryogenesis stage" - Celestia chuckles, Daishinkan mooing something.
He raises his hand, which has CI and angelic energy sparking on it, and touches the infant, transferring that bit of energy to it - "I'm not sure if my energy will help and strengthen the experiment's body, but let's see how this goes.
Daishinkan ignored the tense Mojito and Talsien, who froze as the angel performed strange manipulations on the child. They breathed a sigh of relief when he allowed them to keep the genetically engineered miracle, and smiled weakly as they gazed at the little face, wondering what the child would be like.

So, here is part two.
I cropped it into two parts because it was so so long and i know that some people don't like long posts so there will be part three if you allow me to.
Occasionally sorry for grammar 🤙
***
Perceptor was laying on the operating table, indifferently watching with the edge of his optics as Brainstorm fiddled with his cladding, removing it. Jet worked quickly but carefully, without causing the immobilized autobot any pain.
Meanwhile, the scientist was analyzing the situation. His train of thought could not be disrupted by the absence of most of the external frame, nor by the Decepticon, who plunged his long, thin fingers deep into his insides.
However, there wasn't much that could be done. There were still stasis shackles on his limbs, and Brainstorm didn't stop or get distracted from his work. Perceptor had no idea what he was going to do with him, but there was a lot of extremely important information stored in his processor and he didn't want the Decepticons to get to it.
Brainstorm was disassembling him to the protoform, ruthlessly getting rid of all modifications that did not match the original microscope's altmod.
When the bot turned into a bare carcass with organs inside , which was not protected by anything, jet decided to start a conversation:
-How are you feeling, Percy? Sorry about the stasis bracelets, but you wouldn't have let me work without them)
The microscope didn't give an answer, still watching the Decepticon's actions. Brainstorm was dipping the frame parts removed from Perceptor into large flasks with acid to get rid of the old paint.
- Don't be offended. I'm sure you'd be happy to see me if you hadn't deleted your emotions. Isn't that right?
Brainstorm chuckled, but there was silence again. Jet picked up a metal tube with indicators, intending to measure the concentration of the solution in the flasks.
-Anyway. I am not a mnemosurgeon...yet. However, I managed to persuade someone to help us get you back to normal-
- what do you intend to do?
Brainstorm's hands shook in surprise and he dropped the metal pipe to the floor.
He quickly turned to Autobot.
-WHAT WAS THAT ?!
Perceptor was silent
Brainstorm got closer, hovering over him.
-What. Did you just say?
-I-
The minibot's mouth was roughly covered with a palm, interrupting the sentence that had begun
-SHUT.
It seems that something crunched under the jet's manipulator.
-DON'T.
He was looking into Perceptor's eyes. Brainstorm was ventilating heavily, and the manipulator on the microscope's face was shaking a little. Perceptor couldn't understand this reaction, so he just kept watching.
Finally, jet released him and deftly removed the voice module from the scientist's neck.
Holding the small part in his hand, Brainstorm pressed his palm against his visors and pressed them a little to release the stress.
Having calmed down, the engineer began :
-You know, Percy. Sometimes I don't understand you. You shadowplayed yourself? Alright. Hot. You changed your altmode? Ok, i can deal with that too. But why in the universe did you change your voice?
Sighing, Jet removed his hand from his face.
-You know. You're really lucky.
The vocalizer extracted from Perceptor's neck less than a minute ago was instantly crushed in jet's hand, turning it into scrap metal.
- Because I have a solution for that too.
Discarding the former part of the microscope's body, brainstorm reached for his neck and with a soft click extracted a second vocalizer , much smaller one than his own.
The new voice module was placed in place of the previous one and a notification about the connection setup of the new part, which will take about an hour, lit up in front of Perceptor's gaze.
Meanwhile, Brainstorm was for the first time distracted, turning somewhere to the side and listening carefully.
- returning to the conversation about mnemocherurgy. It's time to greet someone
Jet headed for the entrance to the room, disappearing from Perceptor's field of view. Brainstorm walked across the lab to the massive door. The sensors triggered and the metal plates opened, sliding into the walls with a soft hiss, opening a path.
A fembot walked out of the dark hall onto the lighted laboratory floor with a leisurely but confident gait filled with grace.
- welcome, Blackarachnia!
He ushered techno organic into the room, closing the door behind her.
The fembot was approaching the operating table, examining the room around.
-Greetings, Storm. Have you prepared everything?
Jet followed her.
- everything is as you asked. I remember our agreement well.
-good.
There was satisfaction in her voice.
Fembot circled Perceptor with her long, graceful fingers before standing behind the recumbent bot.
The moment scientist saw her, his brain began desperately searching for a way out of the situation, which did not exist.
He couldn't let the enemy get inside his head.
But the conditions were not in his favor and the microscope couldn't fight back.
Brainstorm stood next to her, watching actions with concern. His gaze did not go unnoticed.
Fembot glanced at him.
-wanna say something?
Brainstorm hesitated before answering.
He was obviously nervous around her, even if he tried to hide it.
-just... Be gentle with him, please..
Blackarachnia grinned
-well...you were the one who asked for demonstration.
That were the last words Perceptor heard before the thin needles entered his processor cutting him off from reality.
-➕
I LOCE THIS SO MUCH!!!
100% go for ch 3 please.

Whumptober Day 27: Muzzled
This was actually one of the first snippets I wrote for this project back in September, because it's such an unusual prompt that it caught my eye. (I was going to say "And one I haven't written" and then remembered that I wrote a whole entire fic about this, in this fandom, even. LOOK, I'VE WRITTEN A LOT OF FIC OKAY.)
No. 27: VOICELESS Laboratory | Muzzled | “I have no mouth and I must scream.”
450 wds, Biggles & EvS, gen. Also posted on DW.
Bigglesworth unbuckled the straps from Erich's hands first, white-faced, working without speaking, and then reached for the iron monstrosity clamped around his face. Now that his hands were free, tingling from the blood flowing back into them, Erich had already slapped a hand to it, frantically trying to dig his fingers under its metal edge without regard for the way he was clawing at his own skin. Bigglesworth closed his fingers over Erich's for a minute (warm by contrast, he hadn't realized his hands were so icy), and then started working on the straps behind his head. Erich was also tearing at them as they came off, and the thing was finally ripped away from his face. Erich wrenched it from Bigglesworth's hands and flung it into a corner, where it clattered on the floor and narrowly missed Hebblethwaite, who had just come down the stairs into the cellar.
Without pausing for a beat, Hebblethwaite said, "I see you found him. Do you need a hand?"
"No, we're all right here. Go help Bertie finish securing the area."
Hebblethwaite turned at that, with a sharp nod, barely glancing at Erich, and went back upstairs. For all the seeming chaos of the way they worked together, Erich thought, there was good discipline on this crew. His mind felt sluggish and vague.
Bigglesworth didn't ask anything about the equipment around them, and Erich didn't ask what had happened to the scientists and guards -- he'd heard a lot of gunfire and crashing upstairs. In truth, he wasn't entirely sure he could ask anything. His mouth was horribly dry, his jaw sore from the pressure of the metal frame clamped over his face. He worked his jaw and swallowed.
"Water?" Bigglesworth asked, and offered a flask. Erich sipped at it, and Bigglesworth kept a hand in the middle of his back, a steady and firm pressure he could lean back into, while he slowly got his mouth working again. He cleared his throat.
"I assume there's an aeroplane waiting nearly." The words rasped a little, but it was his own voice, the words perfectly clear, and it was an incredible relief to hear the sound of his own voice after nearly two days of wearing that abomination.
"As always. Can you stand?"
Erich slid off the metal table immediately. The small, firm hand stayed pressed against his back, letting go only when he was steady on his feet -- and even then stayed close; he could feel the light almost-touch as they went up the stairs. He kept wanting to touch his face, he could still physically feel the mask on him, but he knew it was gone, and when Bigglesworth's hand lightly brushed his back, he also knew that he didn't have to speak to be heard.

On this day in 1676, Antonie van Leeuwenhoek (24 October 1632 – 26 August 1723) was able to observe bacteria for the first time.
He initially called the tiny organisms swimming around his pepper water "animalcules."
In the 1600s, Dutch businessman Antonie van Leeuwenhoek turned his hobby of lens-making into groundbreaking science.
With handmade microscopes that magnified over 200 times, he peered into a whole new world and eventually became the "Father of Microbiology."
In 1676, after leaving a flask of pepper water on a shelf for three weeks, he noticed it had turned cloudy. Curious, he took a closer look and made history.
Through his lens, Leeuwenhoek saw thousands of tiny creatures swimming in a single drop of water — so small they were just 1 to 2 micrometers wide, about one-hundredth the width of a human hair!
He called them "animalcules," believing they possessed tiny organs, such as hearts and stomachs.
He formally communicated his findings to the Royal Society in 1683, following a series of experiments and scrutiny by fellow scientists.
However, it took nearly 200 years more before his findings on bacteria were formally recognized.
With nothing more than a simple lens and a curious mind, Leeuwenhoek opened humanity’s eyes to the microbial world, long before we even knew what microbes were.
