Ever since we made our equality design, we can't stop thinking of designs. So we made this!

Once again, everyone is free to use this design on shirts, stickers, pins, whatever they'd like, as long as they are using it for inclusive purposes! Just don't claim it as your own, please.

The design includes the following:

NEUTRAL BUT MASCULINE LEANING

cenrell︰a gender identity that is on the neutral spectrum, but still has a strong connection to masculinity.

dawnset︰a neutral gender identity with slight masculine influences.

enboy︰a term for someone who is a non-binary man.

masculenby︰a term for any sort of non-binary/man gender identity. an overarching term for anyone in those groups.

mascuneu︰which someone feels as if they are masculine, but in a non-binary, androgynous, or simply neutral way.

menby︰a gender identity for those who identify with a masculine gender and are also non-binary

neuman︰men/miaspec individuals who have a significant connection to neutrality, or for individuals who have any sort of "mixture" of male and neutrois.

neutro︰which someone feels as if they are non-binary, androgynous, or genderless(-aligned) but in a masculine way.

neutroboy︰a subset of neutrogender that is neutrois or mostly neutrois with strong connections to masculinity.

neutromme︰a non-binary gender between male and gender neutral or epicene (a lack of gender distinction).

non-binary man︰someone who identifies both as a boy and as non-binary.

novarian︰for non-binary individuals who are male or masculine-aligned AND neutral or unaligned.

sarculin︰individuals who are male or male-aligned, but are aligned with masculinity as well as neutrality

solarian︰for non-binary individuals who are male or masculine-aligned.

solarset︰where one feels their gender is neutral (or slightly masculine), but with strong masculine influences.

verdeboy︰term for an agenrine/neutral boy or man.

xoy︰a gender in which one identifies as a non-binary boy.

hello! i have a list of names i rotate through and until i get a working pronouns cc for this profile i suppose nobody will be up to date on that. so generally you may refer to me as "Solar", "Sol", "Elias", or "Victor". :]

prns are "go for it", as in i don't care so long as i know you're referring to me because again THAT shifts all the time too and we're not all mind readers but he/they [and the occasional 'aer'] is usually what i put on my socials if you want to be safe.

i love The Magnus Archives- and that's probably going to be what most of my posts are on here, and I also have an interest in the SCP Foundation, a Minecraft SMP I have been working on for over 5 years now [stars help me], and far too much else.

i'm an artist using primarily MAGMA but the occassional MSPAINT or KRITA happens too . used to use ibsx paint but no longer do so as using my fingers is like hell. maybe i'll post some art later today if i remember

Solarian? Gender of The Sun?

It's not dream related, it's not even star and galaxy focused, but somehow, the sun is what I felt myself drawn to.

I'd always view myself as masc-aligned nonbinary folk. But how much I lean towards is never quite clear to myself. People around me easily assume 1-0-1 binary middle and then somehow I'm fully transitioned into some sort of "middle-man" in the eyes of some. When it isn't so simple.

I'd always call my own colors "palette of sun". Ranging from orange dominant, to bright fiery red and sun gold yellow and sun washed mane, even the white of my wings are tinted with sky blue, with my eyes multicolored hue of pearlescent of rainbow.

I may say my "element" is dream, I may say now that wei have stars and cosmos within muis (or had always been), but The Sun, somehow, has also always been in muir life, or perhaps lives.

My kardiatype hailed from around "land of the rising sun". My hearttype is based in a world that is influenced strongly by the culture watched over by Amaterasu. My para-heartlink had the para element from my hearttype, where the original paratype creature was from the culture's own mythology.

Maybe that had influenced my penchant for The Sun.

Then, there is muir own connection with the star, which might be a stretch since stars are many and The Sun is but one star.

When I'd dub my partner a moon wolf, I'd match myself to them and made myself align to The Sun symbolically.

The numerous pseudo/self-insert character I'd made for various fandom also has strong ties to Sun. At first, I used "dawn" because that's when dream comes. Somehow, it stuck around just like when I used stars in my various game avatars' name.

I feel like for some, we've always known, in some deep-seated parts of us, just who we are.

Finally, when discussion between friends of "who would embody what tarot card", I find myself drawn to, yes, The Sun.

In comes Solarian. Granted, I'd learned of this gender term before the discovery of just how deep my connection to The Sun and stars might have went, which just once again shows the complexity and harebrained chaoticness that is all my intertwining identities. Chicken-and-egg is a very literal headache here.

Every description within is something of my heart, I felt heard and seen. The symbolism is multifaceted for me personally--it ties to my spirituality, my past lives, my various alterhuman identities, my personal symbolism build from this life, and me at my core as my appearance and my personality. And finally, my gender.

It is the sun which I'm aligned to, my gender is solarian.

This. This so much. Not to derail, but this also applies to some altersex and intersex people.

People who don't fall into your typical gender or sex binary do have options. Aside from HRT, there's plenty you can choose medically or with body modifications!

Tracheal shaves can minimize an Adam's apple. Feminizing laryngoplasties can make your voice higher.

In terms of your chest, you can have a a breast lift/mastopexy, breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastectomy, areola reduction, nipple reduction, nipple excision, or nipple [re]construction.

In terms of your reproductive organs, you can have a vastectomy, tubal ligation, gonadectomy (oophorectomy or orchiectomy), hysterectomy, trachelectomy, or prostatectomy.

In terms of your genitals, you can choose a penis split (meatotomy, subincision, or genital bisection), urethroplasty, perineal urethrostomy, circumcision or dorsal slit/ventril slit, hoodectomy, labiaplasty, labia stretching, vulvectomy, (voluntary) infibulation, vaginectomy, vulvoplasty or vaginoplasty, phallus-preserving vulvoplasty/vaginoplasty, clitoroidectomy, clitoroplasty, metoidioplasty (with or without a scrotoplasty or urethral lengthening), phalloplasty (with or without a glansplasty or urethral lengthening), scrotoplasty, penectomy, genital nullification, or genital beading.

And there are other potential procedures, such as hymen [re]construction (if you have a damaged or stretched hymen), a hymenotomy (if you have a hymenal intersex variation), a hysteroplasty (if you have a bicornuate uterus, septate uterus, or uterus didelphys), and cervical [re]construction if you have a damaged cervix or a cervical intersex variation.

I know that HRT gives you secondary sex characteristics in one direction or another, but we HAVE to stop telling nonbinary people that they “can’t pick and choose.” Of course, you can’t tell your testosterone that you’d rather not grow chest hair, but there are things you can do!

You could go on T so your voice drops and start shaving so you don’t grow a beard. You could start HRT and then stop once you get the permanent changes you like. You can pursue sterilization instead of bottom surgery. You can get top surgery without being on T. You can go on E and work out a bunch to bulk out your muscles. You can pursue laser hair removal or electrolysis to remove unwanted hair, with or without HRT. You could even just start hormones to see if you like it and then stop if it isn’t to your taste.

Obviously, you can’t order secondary sex characteristics a la carte, but we have to stop being so awful to nonbinary people. We should discuss the options we have, not shut down the conversation with “that’s what you get.”

Lighthouse Masc

a term for when your gender is fluid but you always have a strong unwavering connection to masculinity.

This might be by having a masculine presentation or always wanting to be recognized as masculine regardless of what gender you identify as at the moment.

This can also be conceptualized as being fluid only between genders that are firmly connected to masculinity but not necessarily male (like azurgirl or solarian/phoebian nonbinary), or as masculinity being the static core of one's identity.

I coined this label because I couldn't find one that reflected how I feel, as all the "masculine + fluid" labels I have seen excluded woman or woman adjacent genders or conflated masculinity with being a man or being man-aligned.

I choose the name "Lighthouse Masc" because masculinity is the only certain solid part of this identity, so it's like a lighthouse in the middle of the (fluid) sea, it's a guide that you can always rely on.

I choose the colors based on ones used in flags of various masculine identities, but a more dark version so it looks like the sea at night.

One could also make a "fem" version of this, or with any other gender quality really, like xeninity. Template version here!
