I like the idea of her not really using make-up, so her knife-sharp eyeliner is completely natural.

my most obscure headcanon: would enjoy Gábor Szabó's 1968 album Bacchinal. Her favourite song on it would be 'Theme from "Valley of the Dolls"'

++Due to the stress of her execution in the simulation (it's mentioned in optional dialogue that her entire body was destroyed in her execution), she loses a lot of coordination for a period of time after she leaves the simulation, and she never quite returns to her pre-sim self physically. (It's tough for her to come to terms for at first.)

+Also gets phantom pains all over her body for the same reason

+Has scars all over her body due to her time as a Remnant (namely because she had to fight more powerful enemies to protect Fuyuhiko, and because she fought more recklessly)

SPHINX

The Sphinx is a huge carnivore, originating from the eastern Mediterranean but now found world-wide,possessing what some believe to be the most agile and acute mind of the entire world. The first Sphinx was slain by the famous King Oedipus, who confronted the half-lion, half-woman fearlessly and answered her ancient riddle (which may or may not be the famous "who walks" puzzle we now ascribe to the incident). The Sphinx, bound to her own obscure and elegant laws, dutifully and patiently devoured herself until she bled out. Oedipus wore part of the Sphinx's coat until his death at Colonus, some maintain it was this that led to his cursed fate.

The Sphinx must of course be confronted by a clever and brave soul, its riddle cannot be answered in a stutter or a stammer (this will enable it to feed on you). The riddle of the Sphinx is always one of three characteristics spoken in the "What am I" format. The following is one encountered by the author:

"Whoever makes me knows not.Whoever takes me knows me not. Whoever knows me wants me not. What am I?"

Such a riddle was one of the simpler ones. It should be noted that each riddle has an answer, unlike those asked by day-weary lichs (for instance, "A ship in a bottle. How does one remove the ship without disassembling it, destroying it, or bending it without altering the bottle?"), and can be answered within the space of one watch (roughly an hour and ten minutes). The time can only be spent alone, and it can only be spent in concentration. Sleeping, summoning, or consulting other sources is forbidden.

Should you answer the riddle correctly, the beast will devour itself. Otherwise, you will prove its next meal.

💤 SLEEPING SIGN — is your oc a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? how are their sleeping habits?

Valentine is definitely more of a heavy sleeper but in normal circumstances her sleep schedule is...irregular. She's takes a lot of stims and so doesn't really sleep so much as crash from time to time when they wear off. Working at Arasaka is the only thing that keeps her schedule relatively in place, because it has to be, but when she was a merc she got into the habit of being awake for a few days and then crashing for a bit, rinse and repeat.

Generally speaking she's not an easy person to fall asleep next to because she's restless and squirmy– she falls asleep heavy and easy in everything I've written purely because she's too exhausted to do otherwise. :3

✈️ AIRPLANE — does your oc like traveling, or do they consider themselves a more homey person?

She's actually never left Night City! When she was working for Arasaka she never got much time off, and two consecutive days here and there wasn't really enough to coax her to spend it traveling somewhere else when there were plenty of interesting things to do within city limits.

I don't think she'd enjoy traveling alone very much, but in FFOR when she's briefly on the road with everyone she loves the group dynamics and the novelty of new places. She'd take to being a nomad pretty well in some other life.

🐉 DRAGON — what is your oc's favorite mythical creature?

Really had to think about this one! I think Valentine would love sphinxes– part human, part animal, riddle teller, guardian, etc. If a giant lion woman asked her a question and then ate her if she answered incorrectly, well...what a way to go!
