Happy spring solstice! 🌸 (Stobotnik Hades and Persephone au)

Happy spring solstice my fellow pagans! I promised I'd feed you and here you go, expect more of this au like my others, this is so much fun to draw. (AU LORE BELOW)

In this au, Robotnik takes the place of Hades and Stone Persephone, but slightly more modern. They can only see each other a few times during the year when Stone isn't watching over the earth during the spring and the summer.

(They have existed and been in love for millenia but only got married recently.)

I thought it would be interesting to have the badniks be dogs instead, representing cerberus. The doggies' names are Chase, Daisy, and Finn, respectively (from left to right). And yes, Stone named them. He also spoils the dogs immensely much to the chagrin of Robotnik, who is just happy that his dogs like someone at all (they aren't exactly friendly to strangers)

Their entire dynamic in this Au is literally just Granmamare and Fujimoto (Robotnik is so down bad for his wife fr)

so obviously no one knows jack about the next ACOTAR book or when it's being announced/coming out, but this is my take.

I think it's 100% going to be Elain's, and hopefully Elriel. I feel like sjm/the publishers might try to push the spring aesthetic? so I'm thinking either we get an announcement in January and the book comes out in Spring/Spring Solstice(March 20?) or the book is announced on Spring Solstice and comes out sometime later in 2025. PLEASE CAN WE JUST GET A SCRAP OF INFO SOON THO PLS

Today marks the end of winter into a brand new season. The weather here on the east coast has been warmer than normal and the sun has started to peek out. Hopefully this means we’ll have a lovely spring/summer - I can’t wait to see everything start to bloom again!

Greetings, you lovely fools.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy spring. I'm not sure what else to put in this post.

To celebrate, I dressed up like Alice in Wonderland (because why not? My pyjamas are literally a blue dress. I also have an apron. It was easy.) I also had a slice of chocolate cake for breakfast for the first time in my life.

There was a bit of an aftertaste, because the cake is two days old (my mom's birthday was two days ago), but otherwise it was fine. Not bad.

Not sure what I'll do today. Probably dance naked or summon Mesopotamian rain gods or something. Or I could just call my boyfriend up and tell him happy spring or something. Maybe I'll go for a walk. Probably get some antihistamines, because my allergies are so bad that I legit cannot BREATHE and it's making me feel immediately exhausted.

I DO have an appointment for my heart doctor, but that's okay. I hope it won't take too long, though.

To celebrate, I am posting the Rite of Spring ballet because I love classical music and Stravinsky and I just want to dance to something that sounds utterly discordant.

Had no idea today was the spring equinox!!! But spent the whole day seeding and thinning winter sowed jugs even though it been pouring, so it feels appropriate

Just some of the flowers I took photos of in Austria during my family vacation last summer. A lot of these were in around the Mirabel Palace Gardens and were lovely to see. I really enjoyed the older part of Salzburg, definitely something I recommend people get the chance to witness for themselves at least once. There's a lot to do, enough that what me and my family had planned took us roughly two days.

I'm happy to say that this is the first day of spring. I'm looking forward to the warmer weather (although not the summer heatwaves), it'll be a good time to witness everything coming into full bloom again.
